Utility Specialists and Elgin B. Robertson extend coverage across Southeast and South Central U.S. through performance-based sales relationships

BOCA RATON, Fla., Oct. 28, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — NOMAD Power Solutions, Inc. (“NOMAD” or the “Company”) (Nasdaq: NMAD), through its wholly owned subsidiary NOMAD Transportable Power Systems, a manufacturer of transportable, utility-grade lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery energy storage systems, today announced the appointment of Utility Specialists, Inc. (“USI”) and Elgin B. Robertson, Inc. (“EBR”) as independent sales representatives. The appointments expand NOMAD’s utility sales network to four representative firms covering 26 states and Washington, D.C.

USI, based in Birmingham, Alabama, will represent NOMAD in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Tennessee. EBR, headquartered in Dallas, Texas, will cover Texas, Oklahoma, and New Mexico. The firms will identify and develop opportunities for NOMAD’s Voyager Eagle, Voyager Falcon, and Voyager Hawk systems among utilities, municipalities, data center developers and operators, electrical contractors, and other industrial customers in their territories.

The new representatives join First Line Associates, which covers the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic (Connecticut, Delaware, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Vermont, and Washington, D.C.), and Peterson Company, which covers the Mountain West (Colorado, Idaho, Montana, Utah, and Wyoming) from its offices in Denver and Salt Lake City. Together, the four firms have 43 utility sales professionals expanding NOMAD’s access to established customer relationships across these territories. The agreements are performance-based, with representative compensation tied to sales and no fixed representative fees.

“USI and EBR bring longstanding utility relationships and experience helping customers evaluate and specify new equipment,” said Jim Allan, Director of Sales at NOMAD Transportable Power Systems. “These appointments expand our ability to reach customers facing grid constraints, infrastructure upgrades, and temporary power needs. Our in-house sales team will support the representatives with product expertise and demonstrations to help develop opportunities across their territories.”

Founded in 1957, USI has represented electric utility equipment manufacturers throughout the Southeast for nearly seven decades, serving investor-owned, municipal, and cooperative utilities, as well as electrical contractors, consultants, and distributors. Established in 1928, EBR serves the electric utility industry across Texas, Oklahoma, and New Mexico, with expertise in transmission, substation, and distribution applications.

“NOMAD’s transportable battery systems fill a real gap for the utilities and industrial customers we call on. They can put megawatt-scale power on site in under an hour, without the permitting and lead time of a permanent installation,” said Murray Beck, President of Utility Specialists, Inc. “We look forward to introducing NOMAD’s systems to our network across the Southeast.”

“Utilities in Texas, Oklahoma, and New Mexico are managing rapid load growth, storm restoration, and long interconnection timelines at the same time. NOMAD’s transportable systems give them a way to put megawatt-scale capacity where it is needed without waiting on a permanent installation,” said Zach Nichols, President of Elgin B. Robertson, Inc. “We are pleased to add NOMAD to our Power Utility line card.”

Supporting Utility and Industrial Power Needs

The expanded territories include markets where utilities are planning for increased electricity demand from data centers and industrial development. NOMAD is targeting applications including temporary power support during infrastructure upgrades, backup power, and peak-demand management.

NOMAD’s Voyager systems are designed to be deployed where needed and relocated as customer requirements change, allowing customers to use the same equipment across multiple locations and applications.

“The performance-based structure of these relationships allows us to broaden our sales reach while limiting fixed selling costs,” Allan added. “Our focus is on helping these firms identify applications where mobile power can address a specific customer need and supporting them through the sales process.”

The ten states covered by USI and EBR sit at the center of U.S. electricity demand growth. In Texas, ERCOT reported approximately 438 gigawatts (GW) of large-load interconnection requests as of May 2026, much of it tied to data centers.1 Southern Company, whose utilities serve Alabama, Georgia, and Mississippi, has reported approximately 75 GW of data center interest in connecting to its system, including 10 GW under contract, and has raised its 2026–2030 capital plan to approximately $81 billion.2 In Georgia alone, the prospective large-load pipeline grew from 16 GW in 2023 to approximately 69 GW by December 2025, according to Georgia Public Service Commission staff.3 Duke Energy, the largest utility in the Carolinas, reported 7.6 GW of executed data center agreements and a 15.4 GW data center pipeline in May 2026, supported by a $103 billion capital plan,4 and the Tennessee Valley Authority has reported 11 GW of data center requests.5 Nationally, Grid Strategies projects 166 GW of new electricity load by 2030.6

Much of this demand will arrive before the permanent generation, substations, and transmission needed to serve it are in place. NOMAD’s transportable systems are built to bridge that gap: bridging interconnection delays for new data center and industrial load, supporting utilities through substation and distribution upgrades, and providing backup and peak capacity that can be redeployed as needs change, either structurally or seasonally, depending on where the demand is over the long term.

Fall Demonstration Tour Update

NOMAD is supporting its sales efforts with a fall demonstration tour announced on October 6, 2026, including 26 stops across three regional roadshows. The tour included events with Peterson Company in Utah and Idaho on October 6–8 and First Line Associates across New England and the Mid-Atlantic on October 13–26.

The Southwest roadshow is scheduled for November 2–16, with stops in California, Nevada, Arizona, and New Mexico, including Albuquerque within EBR’s territory. NOMAD also plans a demonstration with USI in the Southeast, with dates and locations to be announced.

Company plans to explore botanical approval pathways before initiating a prescription drug development program

WASHINGTON, Oct. 28, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — 60 Degrees Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (NASDAQ: SXTP; SXTPW) (the “Company”), a pharmaceutical company focused on developing new medicines for vector-borne diseases, today announced expansion of its vector-borne disease research portfolio through a sponsored research agreement with The University of Southern Mississippi (USM) to assess the therapeutic potential of castanospermine—a naturally occurring iminosugar derived from the Australian Chestnut (Castanospermum australe)—in nonclinical models of alpha-gal syndrome (AGS).

The partnership leverages USM’s established vector biology research expertise and investigator insights into tick-borne disease. Under this agreement, 60 Degrees will underwrite the research and retains an option to commercialize and market any resulting intellectual property.

As part of its development strategy, the Company plans to explore potential botanical approval pathways for a castanospermine-containing product before embarking on a prescription drug (Rx) development program. The nonclinical research at USM is expected to help inform this assessment and guide subsequent development decisions.

AGS is an increasingly recognized tick-associated allergic condition, most commonly linked in the United States to bites from the lone star tick. AGS can cause severe and potentially life-threatening allergic reactions following ingestion of, or exposure to, products containing galactose-α-1,3-galactose (alpha-gal), a carbohydrate found in most non-primate mammalian meat and other mammalian-derived products, including beef, pork, lamb, and certain dairy products. Humans do not produce alpha-gal and may develop antibodies against it following tick exposure. There are currently no FDA-approved medications specifically indicated to treat or prevent AGS, and current condition management relies primarily on avoidance of foods and other products that trigger allergic reactions.

Forward‐looking statements reflect the current view about future events. When used in this press release, the words “anticipate,” “believe,” “estimate,” “expect,” “future,” “intend,” “plan,” or the negative of these terms and similar expressions, as they relate to us or our management, identify forward‐looking statements. Forward-looking statements are neither historical facts nor assurances of future performance. Instead, they are based only on our current beliefs, expectations and assumptions regarding the future of our business, future plans and strategies, projections, anticipated events and trends, the economy, activities of regulators and future regulations and other future conditions. MIAMI, Oct. 28, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Eco Depot, Inc. (OTCID: ECDP) (“Eco Depot” or the “Company”) today highlighted the infrastructure track record of its wholly-owned construction subsidiary, Compañía Constructora de Tijuana, S.A. de C.V. (“CCT”), including approximately MXN 150 million (US$8.6 million) in selected contracts tied to two of Mexico’s most prominent public works: the Olmeca Refinery at Dos Bocas and the Tren Maya railway.

The Company also outlined the next phase of its plan to build a stronger corporate foundation, beginning with a full review of its capital structure and a search for a PCAOB-registered independent auditor.

An Operating Business with Real Credentials

Since acquiring CCT in January 2024, Eco Depot has centered its strategy on CCT’s construction and infrastructure capabilities. That choice gives the Company an established operating history and a portfolio of work on projects that demanded industrial scale, technical skill and specialized contractors.

Two of Mexico’s Landmark Projects

The Olmeca Refinery at Dos Bocas, in Paraíso, Tabasco, is designed to process 340,000 barrels of crude oil per day and represents a reported investment of about US$16.8 billion. The Tren Maya is a 1,554 kilometer railway connecting 34 stations across five states in southeastern Mexico.

CCT performed the following work on these projects:

Dos Bocas Refinery: approximately MXN 80 million across two contracts. CCT built drainage ditches supporting stormwater management at the refinery and, under a separate contract, treated the water-based bentonite drilling mud generated during construction. Together, these contracts show CCT’s range, from conventional civil construction to specialized environmental services.

Tren Maya: approximately MXN 70 million. CCT built ballast storage platforms that served as staging areas for receiving and storing the ballast required to lay track, reflecting its experience in transportation infrastructure and large-scale construction logistics.

What It Means for Eco Depot

Credentials earned on projects of this profile matter when competing for future work. CCT’s experience positions it to pursue international opportunities in civil construction, industrial infrastructure, transportation, environmental services and related sectors, with a focus on commercially attractive projects. Historical contract values do not represent current backlog or future revenue; they illustrate the type and scale of work CCT has performed.

Building a Stronger Corporate Foundation

Management will undertake a comprehensive review of Eco Depot’s corporate and capital structure, designed to make the Company’s records accurate, consistent and transparent. The review will cover three areas:

  • Capital structure: reviewing the Company’s capitalization and verifying historical share issuances.
  • Debt and convertible instruments: reviewing and reconciling outstanding obligations and convertible securities.
  • Corporate records: confirming that corporate filings, including applicable Secretary of State records, are current and accurate.
  • Management views this review as an essential step toward earning shareholder confidence and supporting responsible growth.

Charting a Path in the Capital Markets

Eco Depot is currently evaluating qualified PCAOB-registered independent audit firms, with the objective of engaging an auditor to support its financial reporting and longer-term capital markets strategy. As this work progresses, management will assess opportunities to strengthen the Company’s public market standing, including improved financial reporting practices and applicable reporting compliance; potential eligibility for the OTCQB Venture Market or OTCQX Best Market; and, over the longer term, the feasibility of a national securities exchange listing, subject to meeting all applicable financial, governance, shareholder and regulatory requirements.

These initiatives remain under evaluation. No audit engagement, market tier upgrade or exchange listing has been completed or assured.

Leadership Perspective

“Eco Depot is grounded in real operating achievements,” said Hadelin Carlos Diericx Trouyet, President of Eco Depot, Inc. “CCT has performed work on two of the most significant infrastructure projects in Mexico’s recent history, and that experience anchors our growth strategy. Our task now is to pair it with a corporate foundation investors can trust: accurate records, audited financials and a clear path in the capital markets. We intend to earn the confidence of the ECDP shareholder community through disciplined execution, accountability and measurable progress.”

Investors can expect updates as material developments occur.

Latest milestone incorporates advanced sensor data from GEO to strengthen missile warning and tracking

FORGE System

*FORGE, developed by SciTec, combines data from multiple sensors to help Space Force Guardians detect, track, and analyze threats

BOULDER, Colo., Oct. 28, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — SciTec, a Firefly Aerospace company, today announced an operational milestone for the U.S. Space Force’s Space Systems Command (SSC) System Delta 84 Future Operationally Resilient Ground Evolution (FORGE) system developed by SciTec. The latest milestone incorporates data from the SSC’s Wide Field of View space vehicle in geostationary Earth orbit (GEO) and expands the system’s observational reach to strengthen missile warning and defense.

The Wide Field of View sensor provides Overhead Persistent Infrared (OPIR) coverage in support of acquisitional, operational, and research and development priorities of the U.S. Space Force. Key data products have been integrated into FORGE, providing persistent wide-area situational awareness and augmenting time-critical detection capability in conjunction with the data SciTec is processing from other missile warning and tracking satellites.

“SciTec continues to advance FORGE as a modern and scalable system that is capable of ingesting and processing data from legacy and modernized third party sensors,” said David Simenc, SciTec’s President. “We’re using AI and machine learning to ingest and process massive streams of data across all orbits in real time. The integration of this advanced GEO data further expands the field of view for operators and enhances their ability to quickly detect, track, and analyze threats.”

SciTec is delivering this new capability directly into the operational workflows for Space Force Guardians. This capability further demonstrates the benefit of the modern, open architecture of the FORGE system to readily ingest new OPIR mission data and support time‑critical mission needs.

This latest milestone advances SciTec’s $259 million FORGE Enterprise OPIR Solution (EOS) contract to provide advanced mission software that transforms raw OPIR sensor data into actionable insights. Running natively within the FORGE framework, SciTec’s applications enable rapid integration of new data streams and support the U.S. Space Force’s evolving OPIR mission needs.

The milestone builds on SciTec’s initial success during FORGE’s second operational acceptance in September 2025, which fully transitioned operations (mission data processing and framework services), and further demonstrates FORGE’s ability to scale without requiring infrastructure changes. This flexibility is central to FORGE’s design and essential for supporting the next generation of missile warning and battlespace awareness missions.

  • The ‘Ms. Represented’ campaign expands its reach with professional snowboarder Chloe Kim, who shares her ADHD experience to help connect with a younger generation of women.
  • More than 60% of U.S. women who reported ever receiving an ADHD diagnosis were first diagnosed in adulthood, underscoring the importance of recognizing experiences that don’t fit familiar perceptions of the condition.1
  • Chloe is partnering with Qelbree, the #1 prescribed branded non-stimulant ADHD medication as of May 2026 which has reached approximately 3 million prescriptions filled since launch in 2021.*

ROCKVILLE, Md., Oct. 28, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Professional snowboarder Chloe Kim is bringing her personal attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) journey to ‘Ms. Represented,’ a campaign from Supernus Pharmaceuticals for Qelbree (viloxazine extended-release capsules), a once-a-day, non-stimulant ADHD treatment for people ages 6 years and older. Diagnosed with ADHD as an adult, Chloe didn’t recognize her own experience in familiar portrayals of ADHD. Now, as a paid spokesperson for Supernus, she is opening up about her journey to change the conversation and help other women feel seen, understood, and represented.

Launched last year, the ‘Ms. Represented’ campaign challenges the narrow perceptions of ADHD that can leave women feeling misrepresented. Boys are nearly twice as likely as girls to be diagnosed with ADHD, while the percentage of women ages 23–49 newly diagnosed with the condition nearly doubled between 2020 and 2022.2,3 While ADHD is often associated with hyperactivity and impulsivity, it can also involve inattentive symptoms, including less visible experiences such as getting easily distracted or having difficulty with organization.4 For Chloe, recognizing patterns in her own experiences helped her better understand her ADHD diagnosis, bringing another perspective to the campaign and helping connect with a younger generation of women.

“When I was diagnosed with ADHD, so much about what I had been experiencing finally made sense,” said Chloe. “I hope that by sharing my story, more women feel empowered to ask questions, seek support, and know that having ADHD doesn’t limit what they’re capable of achieving.”

Following Chloe’s diagnosis, she explored treatment options with her doctor and now takes once-a-day, non-stimulant Qelbree to help manage her ADHD symptoms. Initially approved for children ages 6-17 years in April 2021 and subsequently for adults in April 2022, Qelbree offers a treatment option for the nearly 16 million adults and 7 million adolescents living with ADHD in the U.S.5,6

“Through the ‘Ms. Represented’ campaign, we’re continuing to challenge the misconceptions that have left women’s experiences with ADHD overlooked for too long,” said Jack A. Khattar, President and Chief Executive Officer of Supernus Pharmaceuticals. “Chloe brings an important perspective to that mission, and as we mark five years of Qelbree, we remain committed to raising awareness and providing a non-stimulant treatment option to help people manage their ADHD symptoms.”

Designed to inspire action, the ‘Ms. Represented’ campaign meets women where they are, using engaging storytelling to spark vital health conversations. By connecting the dots across her passions, from snowboarding, fashion to mental health, Chloe brings the initiative to life in editorial collaborations with Coveteur and PureWow, alongside an appearance on a social-first episode of Are You Okay?.
