• Last patient has completed the last scheduled study visit in the pivotal Phase 3 clinical trial of SGT-610 (patidegib gel, 2%) for Gorlin syndrome
  • Top-line results remain on track for late November 2026

NESS ZIONA, Israel, Sept. 17, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Sol-Gel Technologies, Ltd. (NASDAQ: SLGL), a dermatology company, pioneering treatments for patients with rare and severe skin conditions, today announced that the last patient has completed the last scheduled study visit in the Company’s pivotal Phase 3 clinical trial (SGT-610-01) evaluating SGT-610 (patidegib gel, 2%) for the prevention of BCC (basal cell carcinoma) lesions in adult patients with Gorlin syndrome.

The achievement of last patient last visit (LPLV) marks the completion of the patient treatment and follow-up phase of the study. The Company is now proceeding with database lock, followed by statistical analysis of the study results. Sol-Gel expects to report top-line results in late November 2026. The Company, investigators and patients remain blinded to treatment assignment.

The randomized, double-blind, vehicle-controlled Phase 3 study enrolled 113 patients with Gorlin syndrome, of whom 102 completed the study. Patients were randomized to receive SGT-610 or vehicle for 12 months of treatment. The primary endpoint of the study is the number of new BCCs on the face at month 12 after twice daily treatment. Secondary endpoints include the number of new surgically eligible BCCs (SEBCCs).

Mr. Mori Arkin, Executive Chairman and CEO of Sol-Gel, stated: “Reaching last patient last visit represents an important milestone for the SGT-610 program and brings us closer to understanding its potential to address the significant unmet need in patients with Gorlin syndrome. We are grateful to the patients, investigators and clinical site teams whose participation and commitment made this study possible. We look forward to completing the analysis and reporting the results.”

  • Standardized SIS Selling Packages Accelerate Closings and Retrofits, with Recent Purchase Orders slated for Q3-Q4 revenue recognition.
  • SteraBox aimed at recycling, electronics refurbishment, and circular-economy use.

FREDERICK, Md., Sept. 17, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — TOMI Environmental Solutions, Inc.® (“TOMI”) (NASDAQ: TOMZ), a global leader in disinfection and decontamination solutions today reported accelerating traction in its SteraMist iHP enclosure product line, with roughly $2.3 million in purchase orders year-to-date. That figure already exceeds by 44% the $1.6 million in comparable enclosure orders generated over the previous four years combined — highlighting rapidly expanding customer adoption and a powerful growth engine in SteraMist iHP technology tied to enclosure use.

This order activity follows the Company’s 2024/2025 focus on its SteraMist Integration System (“SIS”) platform of products; a more standardized product grouping built to close faster, deliver faster, and fit the way customers already operate. While enclosure projects were largely custom in prior years, the enhanced SIS platform now reduces that custom requirement, offering configured answers with only minimal customization and enabling iHP to be retrofitted into customer installed equipment easier.

This shift is visible in two of the Company’s most recent purchase orders received within the past week. A portion of both orders is expected to be recognized as revenue this quarter upon delivery, with related services recognized next quarter. Both are retrofits of SteraMist iHP into customers’ existing enclosures. In each case, iHP will replace the customer’s prior decontamination process and integrate directly into their current enclosure, giving the customer a path to validated iHP decontamination without a full equipment replacement. One customer displaced chlorine dioxide; the other transitioned its current decontamination method to SteraMist iHP. With both customers utilizing the SIS platform rather than a lengthy custom build, both orders are positioned for nearer-term delivery and revenue recognition in the second half of 2026.

Demand is concentrated in enclosed, controlled environments used throughout life sciences research, manufacturing, and quality operations. These include biosafety cabinets (BSCs); restricted access barrier systems (RABS); isolators and gloveboxes; pass-through chambers and material airlocks; aseptic filling and packaging-line enclosures; sterility-test, compounding, and cell-and-gene-therapy chambers; lyophilizer and freeze-dryer isolators; and other barrier systems in which surfaces and air must be decontaminated to a validated standard without damaging sensitive materials or instruments.

These orders exclude the Company’s active pipeline of automated custom-design work; Custom Engineered Systems currently retains an active pipeline totaling $3.2 million.

“Last year’s development of our SIS strategy is playing out well, and we expect additional enclosure projects to close,” said Elissa J. (E.J.) Shane, Chief Operating Officer of TOMI. “We can now move from interest to purchase order, and from purchase order to delivery, on a timeline that prior custom work could not support. The flexibility we have built—not only in the technology, but in our selling packages—is key. Customers can adopt iHP as a retrofit of equipment they already own or as a standardized chamber, and that range of options is converting demand we could not always capture before.”

In parallel, TOMI continues to work with one domestic partner and one international partner on a standardized, all-encompassing iHP chamber—an upgraded SteraBox—intended as a cost-effective offering for additional markets. The design draws down the performance bar already required in life sciences and packages it for commercial and daily-use customers who need routine, high-level sanitization outside traditional pharmaceutical and laboratory settings. Target applications include recycling and circular-economy workflows; electronics, medical device and laboratory equipment refurbishment; returned consumer and industrial goods before resale; and other sustainability-driven operations in which shared, reused, or reclaimed items must be decontaminated before they re-enter commerce.

Those use cases rest on the same performance profile that has driven life sciences adoption. SteraMist iHP, a DARPA-originated technology, combines high efficacy with broad material compatibility. That combination is making iHP an increasingly common choice for sensitive equipment—not only in aseptic processing, but anywhere operators want sterilization that is effective on the target and compatible with the asset being treated.

Federal security orders, first project awards under newly acquired PES engineering business, and major Valerus platform release highlight recent momentum across Security and Industrial segments

Hauppauge, NY, Sept. 17, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Cemtrex, Inc. (Nasdaq: CETX, CETXP), a diversified industrial and technology company, today announced that its Vicon Industries subsidiary has received orders totaling approximately $2.8 million in the current fiscal quarter from a U.S. federal government agency, through an existing channel partner, for its video surveillance products and Valerus video management platform. The orders are expected to ship in the current fiscal quarter.

The awards reflect continued expansion of Vicon’s business with federal government customers, following the approximately $2 million correctional facility order in the United Kingdom announced in May 2026, and underscore sustained institutional and public-sector demand for the Valerus platform.

Separately, Vicon released Valerus 26.1, a major update to its video management software. The release introduces GPU-accelerated video processing, delivering smoother, faster streaming and forward and reverse playback at speeds up to 1000x directly in the browser. The upgrade represents a significant advancement for the web client and a direct investment in Vicon’s core markets of government, corrections, and education, where customers have operated Vicon systems for decades.

In the Company’s Industrial Services segment, Plant Engineering Services (PES), the engineering business Cemtrex acquired on July 1, 2026, has been awarded five projects totaling approximately $410,000 in support of a 5,000-ton water press restoration and modernization program for a leading precision forging manufacturer in California. The awarded scope spans engineering, equipment design, fabrication, assembly, installation, and system integration, including a turnkey accumulator level control system, control panel upgrades, and hydraulic system modernization.

“Federal orders of this scale demonstrate that the work at Vicon is converting into results,” said Saagar Govil, Chairman and CEO of Cemtrex. “Government, corrections, and education are demanding environments where reliability wins, and the combination of these orders and the Valerus 26.1 release shows the platform earning that confidence.”

“PES is generating meaningful project awards within its first full quarter as part of Cemtrex,” Govil added. “That is the acquisition model working as intended: acquiring durable businesses and supporting them as they grow. We remain focused on disciplined execution across all of our segments.”

Strengthens Executive Leadership Team to Accelerate Growth Plans as Company Seeks to Scale Innovative Drone Platforms Across Defense and Civilian Markets

FT. LAUDERDALE, FL, Sept. 17, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Duke Robotics Corp. (Nasdaq: DUKR; DUKRW) (“Duke Robotics” or the “Company”), a leader in advanced robotics and drone-based solutions for civilian and defense markets, today announced the appointment of Avi Levin as Chief Financial Officer, effective October 1, 2026. Mr. Levin succeeds Shlomo Zakai, who is expected to continue providing financial and corporate consulting services to the Company to support a seamless transition of financial operations.

The appointment comes as Duke Robotics enters an accelerated growth phase following its recent Nasdaq uplisting and the arrival of Chief Executive Officer Yiftach Kleinman. As the Company looks to scale commercial adoption of its drone platforms across defense and civilian markets, and expand its offerings, the Company believes Mr. Levin will play a key role in developing Duke’s financial strategy, capital allocation, and corporate initiatives to support its growing operational footprint and strategic expansion plans.

“Since assuming the role of Chief Executive Officer, my focus has been to accelerate our operational tempo and assemble the executive leadership required to execute our growth strategy,” said Yiftach Kleinman, Chief Executive Officer of Duke Robotics. “Duke is at a pivotal inflection point. In the civilian sector, our utility grid solutions are commercially validated and addressing an urgent need for power infrastructure resilience amid rising geopolitical challenges and surging energy demand associated with, among other things, artificial intelligence. In defense, our battle-tested platforms are advancing toward broader commercialization. Bringing on an executive of Avi’s caliber is central to pursuing this market opportunity. He brings a rare combination of deep capital markets experience, proven public company CFO leadership, and strategic transaction expertise that we believe will be instrumental in scaling our business. On behalf of our Board of Directors and the entire Company, I also want to thank Shlomo Zakai for his dedicated financial stewardship through our Nasdaq uplisting, and we look forward to his continued support.”

Mr. Levin is an accomplished financial executive and certified public accountant with more than two decades of corporate finance, capital markets, and institutional leadership experience across the United States and Israel. Throughout his career, he has raised more than $130 million through private placements and public offerings with Nasdaq-listed issuers. He previously served as Chief Financial Officer of Ability Inc. (NASDAQ: ABIL), where he helped lead three Nasdaq offerings, raising an aggregate of $100 million. He also served as Chief Financial Officer of RAD Data Communications, a leading global telecommunications provider with over $150 million in annual revenue, where he managed a 49-person global finance and IT organization across 11 subsidiaries and led the company’s official Nasdaq IPO readiness initiative. Mr. Levin also served as Chief Financial Officer of enterprise AI software provider BlackSwan Technologies, securing a $30 million institutional financing round. Most recently, he served as a senior financial advisor and executive consultant, advising late-stage technology companies on U.S. capital raising, IPO readiness, and strategic transactions.

Earlier in his career, Mr. Levin worked in New York City at Credit Suisse (now part of UBS), where he worked on initial public offerings, follow-on equity offerings, and debt financings for NYSE-listed companies. He previously held corporate finance and controller positions at Broadridge Financial Solutions (NYSE: BR), where his responsibilities included acquisition accounting and post-merger integration, and served as Financial Reporting Manager at Overseas Shipholding Group (now International Seaways, NYSE: INSW). He began his career in the audit practice of PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) in its San Jose, California and Tel Aviv offices. Mr. Levin holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the NYU Stern School of Business and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Accounting from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev. He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in both the United States and Israel.

“I am thrilled to join Duke Robotics at such an exciting stage in its development,” said Avi Levin, incoming Chief Financial Officer. “Duke has developed innovative, proprietary drone technologies that I believe address clear and urgent operational needs across critical industries. With a strong public company platform on Nasdaq and energized leadership under Yiftach, the Company is positioned to pursue its growth strategy. I look forward to partnering closely with Yiftach, our Board of Directors, and our talented team to strengthen our financial foundation, support our strategic expansion, and drive long-term value for our shareholders.”

Despite affecting millions of women, Polyendocrine Metabolic Ovarian Syndrome, formerly known as Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS), remains one of the most misunderstood conditions in women’s health. PMOS also illustrates a broader challenge: when a condition is defined primarily by its reproductive features, its effects across a woman’s health can be overlooked.

PMOS is increasingly recognized as a complex hormonal and metabolic disorder that can affect reproductive, cardiometabolic and emotional health. Approximately one in 10 women in the United States lives with PMOS, making it one of the most common hormonal conditions affecting women. Yet many remain undiagnosed, and estimates suggest nearly 70% of women globally with the condition may not know they have it.

For years, the former name PCOS shaped how we thought about the condition, focusing attention on the ovaries and the presence of cysts. Today, researchers and clinicians have a deeper understanding that prompted the change to PMOS. The updated terminology reflects what patients and providers have long recognized: this condition involves multiple interacting hormonal and metabolic systems, not ovarian cysts alone. The international guideline explains that this broader understanding is intended to reduce the important but more narrow, reproductive-centered framing that can contribute to delayed recognition and fragmented care.

That shift matters because PMOS has implications for health well beyond the reproductive system. It is associated with insulin resistance, prediabetes, type 2 diabetes, abnormal cholesterol levels and high blood pressure. Research has also linked the condition to a greater risk of cardiovascular disease, reinforcing the importance of recognizing PMOS as a long-term health consideration rather than only a reproductive diagnosis. The international evidence-based guideline recommends greater awareness of cardiovascular risk and comprehensive risk assessment for people with the condition.

This broader health context can be easy to miss because PMOS does not look the same for everyone. Some women experience noticeable symptoms, while others have few or none. A person with PMOS is not necessarily overweight or metabolically unhealthy, and appearance alone cannot tell us who may have the condition.

For those who do experience symptoms, the signs may seem unrelated: a period that never feels predictable, unexpected weight changes, new hair growth, hair thinning, difficulty becoming pregnant or anxiety that is difficult to explain. Too often, these concerns are considered separately or attributed to stress, age or lifestyle. As a result, many women spend years searching for answers before realizing their experiences may be connected.

Looking beyond individual symptoms

One of the challenges in diagnosing PMOS is its wide variation. When symptoms appear gradually or affect different areas of health, it can be difficult to recognize an underlying pattern. Diagnosis often requires looking at the full picture rather than focusing on a single concern.

As physicians, we are trained to connect seemingly unrelated symptoms and understand how they may fit together. PMOS highlights the importance of a more comprehensive approach to care, one that recognizes how different systems in the body influence one another.

That perspective should continue after diagnosis. Awareness and assessment of cardiometabolic health are important over time, including attention to blood pressure and cholesterol levels. Conversations about blood sugar and diabetes risk can also help patients and their care teams make informed decisions based on individual health needs. The guideline recommends assessment of cardiovascular risk factors and glycemic status in people with PMOS.

Why conversations with your doctor matter

Although researchers continue to learn more about the causes of PMOS, recognition remains an important tool. Connecting symptoms and health risks can help women access appropriate care, monitoring and support.

Many women hesitate to discuss reproductive or hormonal health because they feel embarrassed, uncertain or worried their concerns may be dismissed. Yet those conversations are often the first step toward understanding what is happening and identifying appropriate treatment options.

When meeting with your doctor, share the full scope of what you are experiencing rather than focusing on one symptom. Changes that seem unrelated may provide useful clues, while the absence of common symptoms does not necessarily rule out the condition. A broader conversation can help inform an appropriate evaluation and guide next steps.

What PMOS teaches us about women’s health

The story of PMOS is a narrative about how women’s health continues to evolve.

For decades, many conditions affecting women were narrowly defined or poorly understood. As research advances, we are gaining a more complete picture of how reproductive, hormonal, metabolic and emotional health intersect. PMOS is a powerful example of that evolution. The shift from PCOS to PMOS reflects growing recognition that women’s health conditions often span multiple body systems and require a more comprehensive approach to care.

PMOS reminds us of a simple but important truth: When we connect the dots across symptoms, health risks and life stages, we create more opportunities to recognize conditions earlier and support women in living healthier lives.
