  • FREHEMGO® (denecimig) has been recommended by CHMP for approval in the EU for the treatment of haemophilia A (congenital FVIII deficiency), with or without inhibitors for adults and children
  • FREHEMGO® is the first FVIIIa mimetic to offer once-monthly, once-every-two-weeks and once-weekly prophylaxis in a single-use pre-filled pen
  • Novo expects to launch FREHEMGO® in the first European countries in Q4 2026 and broadly across the EU starting early 2027

Bagsværd, Denmark, 17 September 2026 – Novo Nordisk today announced that the Committee for Medicinal Products for Human Use (CHMP) of the European Medicines Agency (EMA) has adopted a positive opinion recommending marketing authorisation for FREHEMGO® (denecimig) to treat haemophilia A (HA), with or without inhibitors, in adults and children.

FREHEMGO® is a next-generation factor VIIIa mimetic bispecific antibody, designed as a routine prophylaxis to prevent or reduce the frequency of bleeding episodes in people living with HA, with or without inhibitors.

The CHMP recommendation is based on the FRONTIER trial programme. In the pivotal FRONTIER 2 trial, denecimig significantly reduced annualised bleeding rate compared to prior clotting factor prophylaxis and on-demand treatment in people with HA, with or without inhibitors. In children younger than 12 years, results from FRONTIER 3 were consistent with the efficacy observed in adolescents and adults.1–2 Across the FRONTIER programme, denecimig has demonstrated consistently low mean annualised bleeding rates, generally below 1 in the reported phase 3 population, and with a substantial proportion of participants experiencing zero treated bleeds.1-3 Furthermore, in the FRONTIER 5 trial, no new safety signals were identified following direct switching from emicizumab to denecimig prophylaxis. The study also showed a clear preference for the denecimig device.4

“The recommendation by the CHMP for approval of FREHEMGO® builds on Novo’s commitment of over 40 years in haemophilia and marks an important advancement for people living with haemophilia A, with or without inhibitors”, said Mike Doustdar, president and CEO of Novo. “The combination of strong bleed protection, flexible dosing frequency and a prefilled pen offers a differentiated treatment option that can reduce treatment burden and give people with haemophilia A greater freedom in managing their disease.”

In September 2025, Novo submitted denecimig for review to the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) through a Biologics License Application (BLA).

About the FRONTIER trials
The FRONTIER clinical programme includes FRONTIER1-5 and investigates denecimig as a prophylactic treatment to prevent bleeding episodes across paediatric and adult populations with haemophilia A, with or without inhibitors.

FRONTIER2, FRONTIER3 and FRONTIER4 formed the basis of the denecimig Marketing Authorisation Application (MAA) submission. FRONTIER2 evaluated denecimig treatment once every month and once every week in adults and adolescents 12 years of age and older; FRONTIER3 evaluated denecimig treatment once every month and once every week in children below the age of 12; FRONTIER4 was an open-label extension trial evaluating the efficacy of denecimig once every two weeks (Q2W) as well as investigating the long-term safety of denecimig across all dosing regimens (once every month, once every two weeks, and once every week) in subjects with haemophilia A, with or without inhibitors.

About FREHEMGO® (denecimig)
FREHEMGO® (denecimig) is an FVIIIa mimetic bispecific antibody designed with the aim to deliver once monthly, every two weeks and weekly prophylaxis for people living with haemophilia A, with or without inhibitors. FREHEMGO®, which is administered under the skin, ‘mimics’ the role of FVIIIa by bridging factor IXa and factor X. This action mimics the cofactor function of FVIIIa, which helps restore the body’s thrombin generation capacity, helping blood to clot. FREHEMGO® is currently pending marketing approval from the EMA and other regulatory authorities.

VANCOUVER, British Columbia, Sept. 17, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — GoldHaven Resources Corp. (“GoldHaven” or the “Company”) highlights the recent announcement of a US$450 million U.S. government investment in The Elmet Group aimed at expanding domestic tungsten capacity and securing America’s tungsten supply chain.

The landmark commitment provides another powerful indication of tungsten’s growing strategic importance to national security, defence, aerospace and advanced manufacturing.

Highlights

  • US$450 million U.S. government investment in The Elmet Group announced to strengthen America’s domestic tungsten supply chain.
  • More than 800 metres drilled at GoldHaven’s historic Kuhn tungsten system in northern British Columbia.
  • Broad skarn intervals encountered, including approximately 20 metres of skarn in the second drill hole. Assays are pending.
  • Historical drilling returned 13.0 metres grading 0.55% WO₃ and 11.3 metres grading 0.59% WO₃ with 0.10% MoS₂.*
  • Historical estimate of approximately 616,500 tonnes grading 0.48% WO₃ across four modelled lenses.*

“Tungsten is increasingly recognized as one of the world’s most strategically important critical minerals,” said Rob Birmingham, President and CEO of GoldHaven. “The message coming out of Washington is increasingly clear: securing reliable and diversified sources of tungsten is now a national-security priority. This landmark investment comes at an exciting time for GoldHaven as we advance drilling at the historic Kuhn tungsten system within our 100%-owned Magno Project in northern British Columbia.”

GoldHaven’s maiden diamond drill program at Kuhn is targeting the geometry, continuity and potential extensions of the historically documented tungsten-bearing skarn system. More than 800 metres have now been drilled from the first drill pad, with laboratory assay results pending.

Current drilling at the Kuhn tungsten system and representative core from the program are shown below. Core descriptions are based on visual observations; laboratory assays are pending.

Reddish garnet skarn with visible molybdenite blebs and widespread chlorite alteration

GOH26-02, 60.50–60.75 m — reddish garnet skarn with visible molybdenite blebs and widespread chlorite alteration.

Historical drilling at the Kuhn tungsten system reportedly returned intercepts including 13.0 metres grading 0.55% WO₃ and 11.3 metres grading 0.59% WO₃ and 0.10% MoS₂. Historical work also outlined an estimate of approximately 616,500 tonnes grading 0.48% WO₃ across four modelled lenses at the Kuhn–Dead Goat system. These historical results and estimates pre-date NI 43-101 and have not yet been independently verified through GoldHaven’s current drilling program.

The historical estimate and drilling results pre-date NI 43-101 and should not be considered a current mineral resource or mineral reserve. A Qualified Person has not completed sufficient work to classify the historical estimate as a current mineral resource, and GoldHaven is not treating the historical estimate as a current mineral resource. Historical results are not necessarily indicative of future results.

Located in British Columbia’s established Cassiar mining district, the Magno Project provides GoldHaven with exposure to tungsten, alongside silver, lead, zinc, copper, gold and indium, within a stable and strategically aligned North American jurisdiction.

GoldHaven believes the announcement reinforces the importance of developing secure mineral supply chains outside traditional sources of supply and highlights the potential strategic relevance of tungsten projects located in the United States and allied jurisdictions, including Canada.

As governments continue directing substantial capital and policy support toward strengthening domestic and allied mineral supply chains, GoldHaven believes the tungsten sector is entering an increasingly important period of investment, development and consolidation.

The race to secure critical minerals is no longer a future story—it is happening now.

The US$450 million investment relates specifically to The Elmet Group. GoldHaven is not a recipient of the investment and has no relationship with The Elmet Group.

WASHINGTON, July 29, 2026 /3BL/ – The National Park Foundation is excited to announce its largest investment to date in Junior Ranger Angler programming across the country, having awarded $1.2 million in grants to 57 national parks, park partners, and community-based organizations. These grantees will host in-park fishing clinics, set up gear libraries, and more to provide increased opportunities for children, families, and communities to enjoy the outdoors and national parks.

The Junior Ranger Angler program was created by the National Park Service to give young park visitors — typically between the ages of 5-13, but open to anyone young at heart — a meaningful opportunity to gain new skills, connect with park rangers, and start building lifelong relationships with parks as they learn to fish. With NPF’s support of more than 200 Junior Ranger Angler projects to-date, the program has been able to reach parks and communities across the country. Just last year, NPF supported 670 fishing clinics for more than 20,000 participants.

“Junior Ranger Angler is about getting kids, families, and communities hooked on the great outdoors through unforgettable park adventures,” said NPF’s Chief Program Officer Lise Aangeenbrug. “People care about what they feel connected to. When they’re learning to cast a line and earning their Junior Ranger Angler badges, our hope is that they’re establishing a lifelong connection to our national parks and inspiring a commitment to protect these places.”

This year’s 57 grantees will use fishing to inspire, educate, and engage the next generation of park stewards through collaborative community-centered programs.  A few highlights include:

  • Acadia National Park will pilot new programming geared toward local teenagers, including an adventure experience focused on fishing, stewardship of the land, and campcraft, and a longer-term monthly group pairing youth with mentors to develop outdoor skills around fishing.
  • Boston Harbor Now will host events at the Boston Harbor Islands to introduce local youth and their families to saltwater fishing as they explore the harbor and islands, learn about aquatic species and their habitats, develop safe fishing practices, and forge meaningful connections to the harbor, islands, and each other.
  • Dunes Learning Center will host a catch-and-release fishing program at Indiana Dunes National Park that teaches children the basics of fishing, the science of water quality, the importance of aquatic wildlife, and how to keep their local waterways healthy for fish and for people.
  • The Medgar and Myrlie Evers Home National Monument will work in partnership with other local groups to help connect people more closely to Medgar Evers’s story through his passions: recreational fishing and youth mentorship.
  • Yellowstone Forever and Yellowstone National Park will work together to integrate accessible angling and aquatic science activities into a variety of youth and educator programs.
