NEW YORK, Sept. 21, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — AMC Robotics Corporation (Nasdaq: AMCI) (“AMC Robotics” or the “Company”), an AI-driven robotics solutions provider, today provided an update on the buildout of its manufacturing facility in Bắc Ninh, Vietnam, operated through its wholly owned subsidiary, AMCV Company Limited. The Company is targeting commissioning of its Phase 1 production line by the end of 2026, with an estimated maximum production capacity of tens of millions of modules. The Company currently expects the production line to generate approximately $30 million in annual production output based on current indicative purchasing interest from potential customers across the United States, Japan and Southeast Asia. The facility is designed to support production of the Company’s current robotics products and related core modules, with initial trial production expected to commence in early 2027.

The Company’s manufacturing investment is supported by strong tailwinds in the global warehouse automation market, which is estimated at $34.17 billion in 2026 and expected to grow at a compound annual growth rate of 13.98% to reach $65.74 billion by 2031, according to Mordor Intelligence (Source: https://www.mordorintelligence.com/industry-reports/warehouse-automation-market).

The management team at the Vietnam facility is led by General Manager Aron Wang, who brings more than 20 years of experience in electronics manufacturing, including chip-on-board (COB), surface mount technology (SMT), and optical packaging at leading companies including Siemens and ASMPT. He has also had significant experience with facility buildouts and team management. The Company expects to grow its local team to approximately 20 to 25 employees by early 2027, recruiting primarily from Vietnam’s established talent pool in electronics manufacturing and precision assembly.

AMC Robotics selected Vietnam for its well-established electronics supply chain, skilled manufacturing workforce, and proximity to key component suppliers. The facility will also serve to further diversify the Company’s manufacturing and supply chain footprint, supporting the scalable production of its AI-powered robotics solutions.

“Our team is working closely with local partners and suppliers to bring the facility online on schedule,” said Aron Wang, General Manager of AMCV Company Limited. “We are building a local team with world class manufacturing and quality capabilities, and we look forward to welcoming customers and partners to the site once trial production begins.”

“The progress at our Bắc Ninh facility reflects the meaningful steps we have taken to build a scalable manufacturing platform,” said Sean Da, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of AMC Robotics. “With our management team in place and the buildout on track, we believe we are well-positioned to begin trial production in early 2027 and to meet the growing demand for our AI-powered robotics solutions in the warehouse automation market.”

At Kenvue, we believe the foundation of good health begins with the world around us — from the air we breathe to the communities we live in. Through our Healthy Lives Mission, we’re putting the power of everyday care into action by helping improve the health of people and our planet while building a more resilient future.

This work begins at home with our decarbonization strategy — and our Climate Transition Plan, which outlines how we aim to reduce greenhouse gas emissions across our operations and value chain in the near term while supporting our long-term decarbonization strategy.

Turning ambition into action

Our climate strategy is guided by several key goals:

  • Reduce Scope 1 and Scope 2 greenhouse gas emissions by 42% by 2030.
  • Use 100% renewable sources of electricity across our operations by 2030.
  • Have 75% of key suppliers set science-based climate targets by 2028.
  • Support our long-term net zero ambition by 2050.

These goals1 help guide decisions across our facilities, supply chain, and product portfolio.

Expanding renewable energy

Renewable electricity is one of the biggest opportunities to reduce emissions from our operations. Since 2020, Kenvue has significantly increased renewable energy use through onsite solar installations and renewable electricity agreements around the world.

By the end of 20251:

  • 76.2% of our electricity came from renewable sources, up from 29.3% in 2020.
  • 21 onsite solar systems across 14 countries.
  • 13 contracts supporting offsite renewable electricity procurement.

Driving impact across our value chain

Through our Supplier Climate Action Program, we are working with suppliers to strengthen their climate capabilities and advance science-based targets. In 2025, we identified approximately 300 suppliers representing the majority of emissions associated with purchased goods and transportation activities as priority partners in this effort.

We are also exploring opportunities to reduce emissions through more sustainable ingredients, packaging improvements, transportation innovation, and product design.

Looking ahead

Reducing emissions is an ongoing journey. By increasing our use of renewable sources for our electricity use, engaging suppliers, and embedding climate considerations into decision-making, Kenvue is taking meaningful steps toward a healthier future for people and the planet.

Key definitions:

  • Scope 1 emissions: Direct emissions from company-owned or controlled operations
  • Scope 2 emissions: Indirect emissions from purchased electricity, steam, heating, or cooling
  • Value chain emissions: Emissions linked to suppliers, transportation, packaging, and other activities beyond direct operations
  • Science-based targets: Emissions reduction targets aligned with climate science

TORONTO, Sept. 21, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Lahontan Gold Corp. (TSXV:LG, OTCQB:LGCXF, FSE:Y2F) (the “Company” or “Lahontan”) is pleased to announce the mobilization of a track-mounted reverse-circulation (“RVC”) drill rig and crew to its West Santa Fe Project in Nevada’s prolific Walker Lane. The Foremost MPD-1500 track-mounted RVC drill rig will conduct approximately 3,500 metres of drilling in 20 holes focused on gold and silver resource definition and step-out targets. The track-mounted configuration will allow multiple holes to be completed from individual drill pads, helping to minimize surface disturbance. Lahontan’s maiden drilling campaign at West Santa Fe in December 2025 successfully reproduced high-grade gold and silver mineralization reported in historic drilling, including 36.6 metres grading 3.11 g/t AuEq (1.47 g/t Au and 140.1 g/t Ag) from surface in drill hole WSF25-04R. The entire interval is oxide mineralization (please see Lahontan’s February 24, 2026 press release).

Kimberly Ann, Lahontan Executive Chair, President, CEO, and Founder, commented: “Lahontan is excited to resume drilling at West Santa Fe following the success of our maiden drill campaign last December. Our geological team has been modeling the distribution and geometry of gold and silver mineralization throughout the West Santa Fe system, with particular emphasis on areas that were under-explored by previous operators. This work has identified numerous targets where additional drilling can both expand the known mineralized system and improve our understanding of its geometry. We expect results from this program later in 2026.”

West Santa Fe is located approximately 13 kilometres from Lahontan’s flagship Santa Fe Mine Project and represents an important component of the Company’s regional Walker Lane exploration strategy. Historic drilling at West Santa Fe established extensive gold and silver mineralization, while Lahontan’s 2025 drilling provided confirmation of high-grade oxide mineralization near surface.

The Company also announces that it has granted an aggregate of 3,000,000 options to purchase common shares of the Company exercisable at a price of Cdn$0.40 per common share for a period of five (5) years to officers and consultants of the Company. The options vest over an 18 month period; the common shares issuable upon exercise of the options are subject to a four-month hold period from the original date of grant.

XERI’s Building Materials Designed to Fight Mold, Water & Fire

DENVER, Sept. 21, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — (247marketnews.com) – America is preparing to spend an unprecedented amount on national defense. Yet a new Government Accountability Office report exposes a startling contradiction: while Washington is contemplating roughly $1.5 trillion in total defense funding for fiscal 2027, the U.S. military is carrying an estimated $285 billion backlog of deferred installation maintenance and Xeriant (OTCQB: XERI) may have the most unique solution.

According to the GAO’s August 2026 report, the Department of Defense maintains more than 700,000 facilities worldwide, but the military services are funding only about 80% of identified installation maintenance needs, below the department’s own 90% funding goal. The result is a backlog that has more than doubled from approximately $137 billion in fiscal 2020 to $285 billion in fiscal 2025.

The consequences are painfully tangible: deteriorating barracks, water damage, corrosion, HVAC failures, roof leaks and suspected mold.

At Naval Station Norfolk, for example, GAO investigators found barracks with suspected mold dating back to 2023. At another facility, investigators observed evidence of asbestos and significant water damage. At Naval Base Guam, corrosion and algae around an emergency-door lock raised concerns about whether the door would function when needed.

This is More than an Accounting Problem and Conventional Materials are Part of the Equation

The military has a maintenance problem and deferred maintenance inevitably creates a vicious cycle, because it’s also a readiness problem, a construction problem, and a quality-of-life problem.

A leaking roof damages walls. Water intrusion creates conditions favorable to mold. Damaged materials must be removed and replaced. Repairs consume scarce labor and budgets. Plus, if the underlying building materials remain vulnerable to water, mold, fire, insects or physical damage, the same problems can return.

That is where the emergence of advanced composite building materials becomes particularly interesting.

Xeriant’s NEXBOARD™ composite construction panel is manufactured from recovered plastic and cellulose-fiber waste and incorporates its proprietary fire-retardant technology. Third party testing confirms that it provides superior fire, water, mold and insect resistance while potentially replacing several conventional materials, including drywall, plywood, OSB and MDF, as it’s intended for applications including interior walls and ceilings, exterior sheathing and other construction uses.

If those properties translate successfully from testing and commercial production into large-scale military applications, the potential use case is obvious: build facilities with materials designed to be more resistant to some of the conditions that help create recurring maintenance problems in the first place.

Mold may be the headline, but water could be the bigger story

The GAO report’s examples illustrate how interconnected these problems are.

Water intrusion isn’t simply an aesthetic nuisance. It can contribute to deterioration, mold growth, damaged finishes, compromised building components and repeated repair requirements.

That makes Xeriant’s claimed water- and mold-resistant properties particularly relevant to the military infrastructure challenge.

The company announced in August that NEXBOARD achieved a perfect score of 10 in independent mold-resistance testing, according to its corporate disclosures. Xeriant has also announced that NEXBOARD achieved an ASTM E84 Class A fire rating and passed an NFPA 286 test.

One panel replacing multiple materials could matter

Perhaps the most intriguing part of Xeriant’s proposition is, in addition to NEXBOARD’s resistance characteristics, its wide spectrum application consolidation.

Military installations contain enormous numbers of buildings, and every additional material, component and installation process creates another potential maintenance requirement.

Xeriant has positioned NEXBOARD as a universal construction panel capable of replacing multiple traditional building products. Its stated goal is not simply to sell another wallboard, it is to create a composite platform that can potentially be deployed across walls, ceilings, roofing, flooring and other construction applications.

That could become especially attractive in military construction, where durability, speed of installation, weight, fire performance, moisture resistance and lifecycle costs can all matter.

The company has now announced the initiation of commercial production of NEXBOARD, moving the story beyond laboratory development toward actual manufacturing.

The Pentagon’s math is getting harder to ignore

The GAO’s numbers are the real wake-up call and the $285 billion maintenance backlog doesn’t disappear simply because Congress increases the overall defense budget.

In fact, the juxtaposition is remarkable.

The administration’s FY2027 budget request calls for approximately $1.5 trillion in total national-defense funding, according to the White House budget documents. Yet GAO says military installations are already carrying $285 billion in deferred maintenance.

That raises a blunt question: If America is prepared to spend trillions on national defense, shouldn’t some of that money be directed toward making the places where American service members live and work safer, healthier, more durable, and less expensive to maintain?

This isn’t an argument for throwing money at the problem and, long term, is the opposite.

The GAO report demonstrates that simply spending more isn’t enough. The military also needs better prioritization, better information, sufficient maintenance personnel and potentially better technologies and materials.

That’s where companies developing advanced construction materials could find an unusually large addressable opportunity.

The GAO has effectively identified a gigantic infrastructure problem: hundreds of billions of dollars in deferred maintenance across the military’s facility portfolio, with examples ranging from water damage and corrosion to suspected mold and inadequate facilities.

Xeriant has developed a building-material platform specifically emphasizing several properties that could be relevant to those challenges.

While that doesn’t guarantee military adoption, it does create a compelling question for defense contractors, military construction firms, government procurement officials and investors:

What if the answer to part of America’s military infrastructure problem isn’t simply spending more money on the same materials, but rebuilding with materials designed to last longer?

With a $285 billion backlog staring Congress in the face, that question deserves a serious look.
