STOUGHTON, Mass., Oct. 29, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Collegium Pharmaceutical, Inc. (Nasdaq: COLL), a leading biopharmaceutical company focused on improving the lives of people living with serious and often misunderstood conditions, and Boston Legacy FC, Boston’s professional women’s soccer club, today announced an expanded, multi-year partnership to deepen their commitment to Boston communities and create more opportunities for neurodivergent children and families, including those living with attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD).

Building on their existing Collegium Sensory Room partnership, Collegium and Boston Legacy FC will help youth soccer coaches better support neurodivergent children and bring families, experts and community leaders together through an annual Collegium Summit: Sports for All. The expanded partnership extends their work beyond matchday into communities across Massachusetts and deepens Collegium’s local commitment ahead of its headquarters move to Boston in early 2027.

ADHD is common among school-age children. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) reports, based on 2022 National Survey of Children’s Health data, that 10.5% of U.S. children aged 3–17, or 6.5 million children, have ever received an ADHD diagnosis.1 Published research indicates that children with ADHD may participate in youth sports less often and less successfully, and that youth sport coaches have reported less positive attitudes about including these children on their teams.2 The partnership’s new programs will help coaches better support children with ADHD and bring families and experts together to explore ways to make sports more accessible and inclusive.

“As a leader in ADHD, Collegium recognizes the importance of addressing every part of life that matters to those living with ADHD and their families, from the classroom to the soccer pitch to the dinner table,” said Vikram Karnani, President and Chief Executive Officer, Collegium Pharmaceutical. “We believe healthier people and stronger communities go hand in hand. Our partnership with Boston Legacy FC puts that belief into action by helping children participate in sports, build friendships and feel included, and by giving coaches practical training to support them. Massachusetts is where we begin, and we will keep growing this effort for families everywhere.”

The expanded partnership includes:

  • Soccer Coaching Certification Initiative: Boston Legacy FC and Collegium will launch a coaching certification initiative to equip coaches to better support kids with ADHD and other neurodevelopmental conditions. Coaches will have the opportunity to earn a certification recognizing their completion of the training. The initiative is planned to launch in Massachusetts in 2027 and continue through 2029, with regional and national expansion envisioned.
  • Annual Collegium Summit: Sports for All: Boston Legacy FC will host an annual Collegium Sports for All Summit at its new Performance Center in Brockton, Mass., bringing together patients, caregivers, medical professionals, advocates, athletes and community leaders to discuss accessibility, neurodiversity and participation in sports. The gathering will provide a forum to share experiences and explore ways to better support neurodivergent children and families.
  • Continued Sensory Inclusion: The partnership will continue to support the Collegium Sensory Room, which provides a quieter space for fans who need a break from the noise, crowds and visual stimulation of matchday.

The partnership also includes an increased presence for Collegium as an Official Partner of Boston Legacy FC. Collegium’s logo will appear on the upper back of all Boston Legacy FC game kits, including the primary, secondary and goalkeeper kits, at every home and away match. Collegium will also have permanent signage on the press box at White Stadium, joining the club’s other long-term partners.

“We’re proud to expand our partnership with Collegium and build on our shared commitment to making soccer more inclusive and accessible. From featuring Collegium on our kits to expanding our community initiatives, this partnership allows us to extend our impact beyond the pitch and create meaningful opportunities for children and families to feel welcomed, supported and connected through sport,” said Amina Bulman, Chief Revenue Officer of Boston Legacy FC. “We’re excited about what we can achieve together and the meaningful, lasting impact we can make in our communities.”

The expanded partnership builds on community programming already underway. On Oct. 24, 2026, Collegium presented an adaptive soccer clinic in collaboration with Boston Legacy FC, UMass Shriver Center, and Mass Youth Soccer. The clinic, held at SBLI Fields at Progin Park, paired children with volunteer buddies for a supportive soccer experience, providing an early example of the inclusive community programming.

Seven-Figure Annual Minimum Commitment Builds on a Relationship that Started with an Image of the International Space Station in 2020 and Has Grown More than 40-Fold

SATL HEO

HEO used Satellogic’s NewSat 46, from a distance of 17.22 km with an image resolution of 3 cm/px, to capture this image of AST’s BlueWalker 3 satellite on October 24, 2026.

ORLANDO, Fla., Oct. 29, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Satellogic Inc. (NASDAQ: SATL), the infrastructure company for Persistent Global Intelligence (PGI), and HEO, a space intelligence company that images and analyzes objects in orbit on demand, today announced a three-year agreement under which Satellogic will provide HEO access to its high-resolution constellation to conduct Non-Earth Imaging (NEI) and generate insights, supporting space domain awareness globally. The recently signed agreement runs through 2029 and includes a seven-figure minimum annual commitment for each of its three years.

The agreement, announced today at Economist Enterprise’s Space Economy Summit, extends a collaboration that dates back to September 2020, when HEO approached Satellogic about imaging objects in orbit. The companies began with a small, co-funded engineering effort to adapt Satellogic’s Earth observation satellites for non-Earth imaging, and the first capture was the International Space Station. Satellogic is HEO’s longest-standing Earth observation constellation partner. Successful captures using Satellogic’s fleet have grown from about 30 in 2021, the first full year of service, to over 1,600 under the most recent agreement in the last year.

“HEO came to us in 2020 with a question few people in our industry had asked yet: what can an Earth observation satellite see if you point it at what’s in orbit?” said Emiliano Kargieman, CEO and Co-Founder of Satellogic. “Our first project was a picture of the International Space Station. Six years and well over a thousand captures per year later, HEO has taken the capability and become a leader in NEI and space domain awareness.”

HEO has access to more satellites through Satellogic than through any other provider in its network. That means more revisit opportunities for each target, more viewing angles, and faster time to first image. The agreement covers Satellogic’s NewSat Mark IV, Mark V and Mark VI satellites, including its newest inter-satellite link (ISL)-equipped spacecraft.

“Satellogic was one of our earliest partners to back non-Earth imaging, and our partnership has continued to grow through collaboration and innovation ever since,” said Dr. Will Crowe, CEO and Co-Founder of HEO. “Together, we’ve continued to find new ways to adapt their fleet for satellite inspection, improving the quality of imagery and insights available to our customers. Their satellites and our shared innovation give us flexibility as we work to view more objects in space and deliver better data to the government and defense customers whose missions depend on it. The three-year commitment gives us the confidence to keep pushing what’s possible.”

About Satellogic

Founded in 2010, Satellogic (NASDAQ: SATL) builds the infrastructure for Persistent Global Intelligence (PGI): continuous, proactive awareness of the places, assets, and activities that matter. About Lonvo-z
Based on Nobel Prize-winning CRISPR/Cas9 technology, lonvo-z has the potential to become the first one-time treatment for hereditary angioedema (HAE). Lonvo-z is an in vivo CRISPR gene editing candidate that is intended to permanently lower kallikrein by inactivating the kallikrein B1 (KLKB1) gene with a single dose that is administered in an outpatient setting. Lonvo-z has received five notable regulatory designations: Orphan Drug and Regenerative Medicine Advanced Therapy (RMAT) Designations by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), the Innovation Passport by the U.K. Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA), Priority Medicines (PRIME) Designation by the European Medicines Agency, as well as Orphan Drug Designation (ODD) by the European Commission. In September 2026, the FDA accepted the Biologics License Application (BLA) for lonvo-z and granted Priority Review with a PDUFA target action date of March 10, 2027.

About Hereditary Angioedema
Hereditary angioedema (HAE) is a rare, genetic disease characterized by severe, recurring and unpredictable inflammatory attacks in various organs and tissues of the body, which can be painful, debilitating and life-threatening. It is estimated that one in 50,000 people are affected by HAE. There are preventative and on-demand treatment options to help manage the condition, including long- and short-term prophylaxis used to prevent swelling attacks. Current treatment options often include lifelong therapies, which may require chronic intravenous (IV) or subcutaneous (SC) administration as often as twice per week or daily oral administration to ensure constant pathway suppression for disease control. Despite chronic administration, breakthrough attacks still occur. Kallikrein inhibition is a clinically validated strategy for the preventive treatment of HAE attacks.

SKNY-1’s Weight Reduction Without Significant Changes in Food Consumption Suggests a Potential Role for Energy Expenditure, Contrasting With Semaglutide’s Initial Food-Intake Suppression and Significant Post-Treatment Increase

MIAMI, Oct. 29, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — MIRA Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (NASDAQ: MIRA) (“MIRA” or the “Company”), a clinical-stage pharmaceutical company developing novel oral therapeutics, today announced initial positive proof-of-concept results from an exploratory pilot study evaluating SKNY-1, its investigational oral drug candidate for obesity and metabolic disorders.

Conducted in an established diet-induced obesity (DIO) mouse model, the study demonstrated statistically significant reductions in body weight and fat mass following oral administration of SKNY-1 compared with vehicle-treated controls.

Importantly, weight reduction occurred without a statistically significant decrease in food consumption, raising the possibility that SKNY-1 may influence metabolic pathways beyond appetite suppression.

The study also identified three potentially meaningful areas of differentiation from the semaglutide reference group: effects on food intake, lean-mass outcomes, and weight regain following treatment discontinuation. Together, these findings expand upon previous SKNY-1 research and support its continued development as a potentially differentiated oral approach to weight management.

“Obesity represents one of the largest and fastest-growing opportunities in healthcare, with the potential for multiple multibillion-dollar therapies,” said Erez Aminov, Chief Executive Officer of MIRA Pharmaceuticals. “We believe the future of obesity treatment will extend beyond a single class of drugs. Patients have different needs, and there is tremendous opportunity for innovative therapies that work through distinct mechanisms and offer favorable profiles for long-term weight management. What makes SKNY-1 particularly exciting is that our findings point toward a potentially differentiated metabolic approach, with encouraging signals regarding body composition and weight maintenance following treatment discontinuation. We believe these characteristics could become important advantages as we continue advancing SKNY-1, positioning it as a potentially valuable asset within our pipeline and an opportunity to participate in this significant global market.”

Key Findings From the SKNY-1 Pilot Study

Statistically Significant Weight and Fat Reduction

Oral SKNY-1 demonstrated statistically significant reductions in body weight and fat mass compared with vehicle-treated controls. The majority of the treatment-associated weight difference was attributable to fat reduction, providing encouraging evidence of SKNY-1’s activity in an established obesity model.

Favorable Lean-Mass Findings Compared With the Semaglutide Reference Group

At the Day 14 body-composition assessment, oral SKNY-1-treated mice did not demonstrate statistically significant lean-mass loss relative to vehicle controls.

In contrast, semaglutide-treated mice demonstrated statistically significant lean-mass loss compared with vehicle-treated controls.

Limited Weight Regain Following Treatment Discontinuation Compared With Semaglutide

During the two-week observation period following treatment cessation, oral SKNY-1-treated mice demonstrated slow and limited weight regain.

In contrast, semaglutide-treated mice experienced rapid and substantial weight rebound, which was accompanied by a statistically significant increase in food consumption relative to vehicle controls, while oral SKNY-1-treated groups showed no statistically significant increase in food consumption.

Investigating a Potentially Differentiated Metabolic Mechanism
The study’s findings raise the possibility that SKNY-1 may influence energy expenditure, energy utilization, or other metabolic pathways involved in weight regulation, rather than relying primarily on appetite suppression.

These observations provide a scientific rationale for investigating SKNY-1’s potentially differentiated metabolic mechanism.

“One of the most intriguing findings from this pilot study is that SKNY-1 produced significant weight reduction without a statistically significant decrease in food consumption,” said Dr. Itzchak Angel, Chief Scientific Advisor of MIRA Pharmaceuticals. “The contrasting observations in lean-mass outcomes and weight regain following treatment discontinuation compared with the semaglutide reference group are also scientifically interesting. Together, these findings raise the possibility that SKNY-1 may influence how the body utilizes energy, potentially offering a differentiated metabolic approach to weight management. These results further expand and confirm previous studies, which have demonstrated increased energy expenditure without changes in food intake.”

“Our next study will investigate this hypothesis more directly through measurements of energy expenditure and other metabolic parameters, while further characterizing SKNY-1’s effects on body composition and weight regulation.”

Continued Development of SKNY-1
MIRA is advancing SKNY-1 through longer-term preclinical studies to further assess weight reduction, body composition and metabolic effects, while continuing its IND-enabling development activities and chemistry, manufacturing and controls (CMC) manufacturing efforts to support future clinical development.

About SKNY-1
SKNY-1 is MIRA Pharmaceuticals’ investigational oral drug candidate being developed for obesity and metabolic disorders. The compound is a cannabinoid analog being investigated for its potential effects on biological pathways involved in metabolic regulation.

Previously published preclinical research in a zebrafish model of obesity demonstrated approximately 30% weight reduction, accompanied by maintenance of whole-body density, reductions in hepatic triglyceride accumulation, and changes in appetite-related signaling.

The latest pilot study in diet-induced obese mice expands this exploratory research into a mammalian obesity model, providing additional evidence of SKNY-1’s potential as an oral therapeutic candidate for obesity.

  • U.S. FDA clears IND for Phase 2 study of VT-7208 in chronic spontaneous urticaria; additional Phase 2 studies planned in food allergy and relapsing multiple sclerosis
  • Company expands pipeline through research collaboration of a novel, oral macrocyclic peptide-based neonatal Fc receptor antagonist program from Generian Pharmaceuticals
  • Sheila Gujrathi, M.D., appointed Executive Chair of Processa’s Board of Directors
  • Cash runway expected to fund operations into the second half of 2029

VERO BEACH, FL, Oct. 29, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Processa Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (Nasdaq: PCSA) (“Processa” or the “Company”), a clinical-stage pharmaceutical company developing VT-7208, a Bruton’s tyrosine kinase (BTK) inhibitor therapy for immune-mediated diseases, today announced continued execution following its acquisition of Vidya Therapeutics (“Vidya”). Progress includes U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) clearance of the investigational new drug (IND) application for a Phase 2 study of VT-7208 in chronic spontaneous urticaria (CSU), expansion of the pipeline through a research collaboration with Generian Pharmaceuticals, and the appointment of Sheila Gujrathi, M.D., as Executive Chair of the Board of Directors.

Processa is advancing VT-7208, a next-generation, CNS-penetrant, once-daily oral BTK inhibitor, across three Phase 2 proof-of-concept programs, including CSU, food allergy and relapsing multiple sclerosis. These programs provide multiple opportunities to evaluate VT-7208 across distinct immune-mediated diseases. The acquisition was accompanied by an approximately $200 million private placement from leading institutional healthcare investors. The Company expects its current cash resources to support operations into the second half of 2029.

“Since the Vidya transaction, we have made great progress in executing our strategy,” said Dr. Gujrathi. “The FDA clearance of the CSU IND is an exciting step toward advancing VT-7208 across three planned Phase 2 programs. At the same time, the Generian collaboration expands our pipeline around another high-value, clinically validated immune target. With funding in place to support these programs, our focus is on disciplined execution and generating the data needed to demonstrate the potential of the portfolio.”

“Sheila has been an invaluable partner to the Board since the Vidya transaction, and her experience building biotechnology companies, advancing clinical programs and creating long-term value makes her well suited to lead the Board through this next phase,” said Justin Yorke, former Chair of the Processa Board of Directors. “We are pleased to have her step into the Executive Chair role as Processa advances its clinical strategy and broader pipeline.”

FDA Clears IND for Phase 2 Study of VT-7208 in CSU

The FDA has cleared the IND application for VT-7208 in CSU, enabling Processa to advance the program into a Phase 2 study in adults with moderate-to-severe disease.

The planned multicenter, randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled study is expected to enroll approximately 120 adults whose disease is not adequately controlled with H1 antihistamines. The study will evaluate VT-7208 versus placebo over 12 weeks and assess efficacy, safety, tolerability and pharmacologic activity.

CSU is a chronic inflammatory disease characterized by recurrent hives, swelling or both without an identifiable external trigger and affects an estimated 1.6 to 2 million U.S. adults. Despite available therapies, a meaningful proportion of patients remain inadequately controlled, underscoring the need for additional treatment options.

Pipeline Expansion Through Research Collaboration

Processa also announced that it has entered into a research collaboration and exclusive option agreement with Generian Pharmaceuticals, a UPMC Enterprises portfolio company that emerged from the UPMC/University of Pittsburgh ecosystem for breakthrough science, to advance a novel oral macrocyclic peptide-based neonatal Fc receptor (FcRn) antagonist program, further expanding Processa’s immunology pipeline.

The collaboration targets a clinically validated mechanism for treating IgG-mediated autoimmune diseases and supports the companies’ shared strategy of developing differentiated oral therapeutic alternatives to currently available injectable FcRn therapies. The program complements VT-7208 and reflects Processa’s broader strategy to selectively expand its pipeline around clinically validated immune targets, using capital-efficient structures that provide access to novel programs while preserving flexibility as the science matures.

Sheila Gujrathi Appointed Executive Chair

Dr. Gujrathi has been appointed Executive Chair of the Processa Board of Directors. She has served on the Board since Processa’s acquisition of Vidya in June 2026, where she was founder and its executive chair. In this expanded role, she will support the management team on corporate strategy, capital allocation and organizational development.

Dr. Gujrathi is a physician-scientist, biotechnology entrepreneur and drug developer with extensive experience building biotechnology companies and advancing therapies in immunology. Her prior leadership roles include Executive Chair of Ventyx Biosciences, Chair of Turning Point Therapeutics, Chair of ADARx Pharmaceuticals, co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of Gossamer Bio, and Chief Medical Officer of Receptos.

ABOUT PROCESSA PHARMACEUTICALS

Processa Pharmaceuticals is a clinical-stage pharmaceutical company advancing innovative drug candidates through a disciplined, science-driven development strategy. Following the acquisition of Vidya Therapeutics, Processa’s lead program is VT-7208, a Bruton’s tyrosine kinase (BTK) inhibitor therapy for immune-mediated diseases. VT-7208 is a potentially best-in-class BTK inhibitor (BTKi) designed to improve on the efficacy and safety of early-generation programs. Processa is developing VT-7208 in three parallel programs: food allergy and chronic spontaneous urticaria (CSU) in immunology, and relapsing multiple sclerosis (RMS) in neurology, where its CNS-penetrant profile addresses an area of high unmet need. With Phase 1 complete, the company intends to advance all three programs toward Phase 2 proof-of-concept studies.

Drilling continues at D Zone as GoldHaven explores a silver-rich mineralized system sharing key geological characteristics with Coeur Mining’s Silvertip deposit

VANCOUVER, British Columbia, Oct. 29, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — GoldHaven Resources Corp. (“GoldHaven” or the “Company”) (CSE: GOH) (OTCQB: GHVNF) (FSE: 4QS) is pleased to announce that its inaugural 2026 diamond drilling program at its flagship Magno Project in northwestern British Columbia has reached approximately 3,000 metres, with exploration advancing across its high-grade silver-lead-zinc and tungsten targets.

Recent drilling at D Zone has encountered multiple intervals of semi-massive to massive sulphide mineralization, further advancing GoldHaven’s exploration of a silver-lead-zinc system sharing key geological characteristics with Coeur Mining’s Silvertip deposit. Drilling continues across additional targets, with laboratory assays pending.

Highlights

  • Over 3,000 metres drilled: GoldHaven reaches a significant milestone in its inaugural 2026 drilling program at Magno, targeting both silver-lead-zinc and tungsten mineralization.
  • High-grade historical silver: Previous D Zone drilling reported 7.6 metres grading 240 g/t silver, 4.73% lead and 4.74% zinc.
  • High-grade silver surface samples: GoldHaven’s 2025 exploration program returned up to 2,370 g/t silver at Magno and 1,390 g/t silver at Middle D.
  • Silvertip geological comparison: Magno exhibits carbonate replacement-style mineralization, including manto and chimney-style features also characteristic of Coeur Mining’s Silvertip deposit.
  • Additional massive sulphides intersected: Drill hole GOH26-15 encountered approximately 18.5 metres of massive sulphide and 9 metres of semi-massive sulphide mineralization, with assays pending.

Advancing Silver-Lead-Zinc Exploration at D Zone

Further to the Company’s October 22nd news release, which described four of the first five completed drill holes at Middle D intersecting semi-massive to massive sulphide mineralization, the latest diamond drill hole in this area (GOH26-15) has intersected approximately 18.5 m and 9 m of massive sulphide and semi-massive sulphide mineralization, respectively. This is in addition to the previously announced GOH26-10 and GOH26-13 which encountered cumulative visually identified mineralized intervals of approximately 10.75 metres and 13 metres, respectively, across separate intervals. True widths are unknown.

The mineralization includes visible galena and sphalerite, with drilling continuing to evaluate the geometry and potential continuity of the system. Laboratory assays remain pending.

CEO Commentary:

“Reaching 3,000 metres in our inaugural drill program is an important milestone, but we’re particularly encouraged by the silver-lead-zinc potential emerging at D Zone,” commented Rob Birmingham, President and CEO of GoldHaven.

“Magno shares compelling geological characteristics with Coeur Mining’s Silvertip deposit. With multiple sulphide intersections and assays approaching, we’re excited to further evaluate the potential of this system.”

GoldHaven’s Magno Project Shares Key Geological Characteristics with Coeur Mining’s Silvertip Deposit

GoldHaven’s Magno Project is situated within the Cassiar Terrane of northern British Columbia, the same regional geological setting that hosts Coeur Mining’s Silvertip silver-lead-zinc deposit, a well-established carbonate replacement deposit (CRD).

Magno exhibits several geological characteristics associated with the Silvertip model, including carbonate-hosted silver-lead-zinc mineralization, manto- and chimney-style replacement features, and multiple mineralized zones. These similarities provide an established exploration framework for evaluating the broader potential of Magno’s polymetallic system.

GoldHaven is integrating modern geophysical data, geological mapping and ongoing drilling to better understand the distribution and potential continuity of mineralization across its more than 37,000-hectare property.

The comparison is geological in nature only. Mineralization at Silvertip is not necessarily indicative of mineralization at Magno, and no mineral resource has been established at D Zone.

Next Steps

GoldHaven’s near-term exploration activities include:

  1. Continuing drilling across additional targets within the D Zone system.
  2. Completing laboratory analysis and reporting assay results following QA/QC review.
  3. Integrating geological, geochemical and geophysical datasets to evaluate the distribution and potential continuity of mineralization.

The Magno Project covers more than 37,000 hectares in the Cassiar District and hosts multiple exploration targets, including silver-lead-zinc mineralization at D Zone and Magno, together with tungsten-bearing skarn systems at Kuhn and Dead Goat.

Technical Notes

The historical 7.6-metre D Zone intersection has not been independently verified and is not necessarily indicative of current drill results. Previously reported sulphide intervals are cumulative visual downhole measurements from separate intervals, not true widths, and do not establish laboratory assay grades or economic mineralization. Grab samples are selective and are not representative of deposit-wide grades.

Rafael Holdings, Inc. Fourth Quarter Fiscal Year 2026 Financial Results

As of July 31, 2026, we had cash and cash equivalents of $22.1 million.

For the three months ended July 31, 2026, we recorded a net loss attributable to Rafael Holdings of $9.2 million, or $0.18 per share, versus a net loss of $12.1 million, or $0.28 per share in the year ago period. The year over year decrease in net loss is largely attributable to a decrease in general and administrative expenses.

Research and development expenses were $7.5 million for each of the three months ended July 31, 2026 and 2025.

General and administrative expenses were $2.4 million for the three months ended July 31, 2026, compared to $5.5 million in the year ago period. The year over year decrease relates to a decrease in payroll, stock-based compensation expense and professional fees.

Rafael Holdings, Inc. Full Fiscal Year 2026 Financial Results

For the twelve months ended July 31, 2026, we recorded a net loss attributable to Rafael Holdings of $29.6 million, or $0.58 per share, versus a net loss of $30.5 million, or $1.04 per share in the year ago period. The year over year decrease in net loss reflects a $4.4 million gain on Cornerstone’s settlements of accounts payable and convertible notes payable and the absence of prior-year unrealized losses on our investment in Cyclo, partially offset by higher research and development expenses following the consolidation of Cyclo Therapeutics in March 2025.

Research and development expenses were $24.3 million for the twelve months ended July 31, 2026, compared to $12.8 million in the year ago period. The year over year increase was primarily attributable to a $13.4 million increase in Cyclo’s research and development expenses in fiscal 2026, as well as an increase in R&D stock-based compensation expense of $0.4 million, offset by decreases in R&D payroll of $1.5 million, and in clinical trial and other expenses of $0.8 million.

General and administrative expenses were $9.7 million for the twelve months ended July 31, 2026, compared to $13.8 million in the year ago period. The decrease of $4.1 million versus the prior year is primarily attributable to decreases in professional fees of $1.3 million, primarily due to merger-related costs in the prior year, stock-based compensation expense of $1.2 million, payroll expense of $0.6 million due to terminations, and other expenses.
