NEW YORK, Oct. 21, 2025 /PRNewswire/ — Episcopal Relief & Development has partnered with the Episcopal Diocese of Arizona to provide financial assistance to residents following deadly flooding in Globe, Arizona at the end of September.

Flash floods caused by heavy rains killed at least four people. Approximately 1,000 propane tanks were swept away from a distribution facility, creating hazardous conditions for the community. Officials have designated the downtown area unsafe, and many businesses are out of operation until further notice. The state of Arizona, relief agencies and volunteers have been present, working to provide needed support.

“The devastation and loss of life is substantial. The flood came through downtown on a busy Friday night while the restaurants were full,” said the Rt. Rev. Jennifer Reddall, Bishop of the Diocese of Arizona.

In partnership with the Diocese of Arizona, Episcopal Relief & Development is providing financial assistance to individuals temporarily unemployed due to business closures and working-class families affected by the flooding. St. John’s Episcopal Church in Globe, Arizona is serving as a central hub, a place for residents to come for social, emotional, and spiritual care and for assistance in finding additional aid for their recovery.

LOS ANGELES, Oct. 21, 2025 /PRNewswire/ — Arias Sanguinetti Wang & Team LLP and The DiPietro Law Firm announced the filing of a new lawsuit in Los Angeles Superior Court on behalf of 112 additional women who were sexually assaulted, harassed, and abused by obstetrician-gynecologist Dr. Barry J. Brock during examinations and procedures at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and their affiliated clinics.

Multiple Cedars-Sinai entities allegedly engaged in a decades-long cover-up that enabled and concealed Brock’s serial sexual abuse and exploitation of patients under the guise of medical care.

According to the complaint, Cedars-Sinai and its affiliates ignored and suppressed numerous complaints from patients and staff, renewed Brock’s privileges despite reports of misconduct, and failed to notify law enforcement or state medical licensing agencies and regulators. Brock engaged in all manners of sexual misconduct, including sexual assault, gender violence, harassment, and exploitation of patients.

DICK’S Sporting Goods and Gymshark are teaming up to bring the brand’s cult favorite gymwear to cities across the U.S. Launching exclusively in 12 DICK’S House of Sport stores, DICK’S becomes Gymshark’s first-ever U.S. wholesale partner, marking a major milestone for both brands. The news comes hot on the heels of the opening of Gymshark’s first permanent U.S. retail store at Roosevelt Field Mall in New York last weekend.

DICK’S athletes can get their hands on Gymshark’s most-hyped products starting Friday, Oct. 24.
