A Statement from Dr. David Jeremiah on the Violence that Occurred this Weekend

SAN DIEGO, Dec. 14, 2025 /PRNewswire/ — It is with a heavy heart that we extend our condolences, sympathy & prayers to the families affected by the terroristic event at Bondi Beach in Australia and the mass shooting at Brown University in Rhode Island. No family should have to endure this kind of pain and trauma. That these horrific events have occurred so close to Christmas, a time of joy, hope, and peace makes it even harder.

At times like this, words can seem hollow, and even well-meaning statements can appear to be empty platitudes, but I believe every word spoken by Jesus holds immense truth. In His Sermon on the Mount, He said, “Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted.” So that is my prayer for the families and communities of Brown University and Bondi Beach.

May the God of all comfort sustain you today and, in the days, ahead. It will not be easy, and the heartache will still be felt, but I know God will be with us as. As we enter the third Sunday of Advent, and the start of Hanukkah, may the miracle of these blessed seasons and the hope, joy, and promise they instill in our hearts anchor us to our Savior who came once and is coming again to restore all things.

Festivals United Newark (FUN) brings ice skating, ice go-karts, and igloos to Mulberry Commons Park

NEWARK, N.J., Dec. 13, 2025 /PRNewswire/ — Newark Winter Village has returned to Mulberry Commons Park, transforming the heart of downtown Newark into a festive winter destination. Presented as part of Festivals United Newark (FUN), the seasonal attraction offers ice skating, ice go-karts, private igloos, live entertainment, and an expanded holiday marketplace, drawing thousands of residents and visitors to the city throughout the holiday season. Today, youth from Nassan’s Place, Brick4Kidz, and the Boys & Girls Club of Newark filled Mulberry Commons with laughter and movement as they skated, rode bumper cars, and embraced the magic of winter in the city. Marcy DePina, Executive Director of the Newark City Parks Foundation, was present, reinforcing the city’s ongoing commitment to vibrant downtown public spaces.

The buzz around Newark Winter Village isn’t contained to Mulberry Commons. As thousands of visitors lace up skates, race ice go-karts, and gather in glowing igloos throughout the season, the festival’s unmistakable magic is capturing attention far beyond Newark’s borders. The Village continues to position the city as a winter destination while showcasing how public spaces can be activated to spark joy, connection, and community pride.

“Newark Winter Village is about creating shared experiences that bring families together and celebrate who we are as a city,” said First Lady Linda Baraka. “This is what it looks like when culture, creativity, and community come together in a public space.” That momentum is powered regularly by Baraka, founder of Newark Winter Village and the driving force who organizes and hosts the beloved event each year. A constant and visible presence, she ensures the Village delivers on its promise of joy, access, and authentic community connection.

The Village also welcomed siblings Michele and Jordan Morgan of The Morgans of Newark, who visited alongside Michele’s husband, award-winning actor and Newark native Tobias Truvillion, in support of the celebration. The Morgan family underwrote the Winter Village skating rink to help ensure access for children and families throughout the season. “When we were kids, we skated in our sneakers,” said Michele Morgan. “Being able to support the rink and provide skate rentals for today’s kids is incredibly meaningful. It’s our way of giving back to the city that raised us.”

Newark Winter Village also became the backdrop for a heartfelt surprise. Shane McKay of Long Island proposed to Ayana Perkins of the Bronx inside one of the Village’s heated igloos, beautifully decorated by Ayana’s family and friends. She said YES, transforming a winter night into a moment of celebration, love, and unforgettable magic.

Open now through January 4, 2026, Newark Winter Village invites residents and visitors to enjoy a festive, family-friendly destination in the heart of downtown Newark. In addition to ice skating, go-karts, and cozy igloos, the expanded holiday marketplace features rotating local vendors and food trucks—including Newark vs. Everybody, Love of Neighbor, Hitting Ur Belly, and Big Roc’s Deli—making the Village a one-stop destination for seasonal fun, shopping, and community celebration.

How can discarded plastic film be converted into fuel and turned from waste into treasure?

HANGZHOU, China, Dec. 13, 2025 /PRNewswire/ — Hundreds of millions of tons of light materials exist in construction and demolition waste, with PP and PE film accounting for approximately 50%. Coupled with plastic film from municipal solid waste, landfill legacy waste, agricultural film and mulch film, these form massive “urban oilfields” waiting to be tapped. Yet, traditional sorting technologies fall short in achieving high-purity separation of PP/PE films, leaving this energy potential untapped for years.

The key to unlocking these “urban oilfields” lies in efficient sorting technology.

Light materials contain complex impurities like PVC film, PET film, wood chips, waste plastic, paper and sand. PVC and PET film, visually similar to PP/PE film, are the biggest sorting challenges—and critical to eliminate due to their severe harm to pyrolysis: PVC releases hydrogen chloride at high temperatures, corroding equipment and generating toxic dioxins; PET has a high pyrolysis temperature and produces oxygen-containing components that reduce fuel stability and calorific value.

DATABEYOND’s FASTSORT-FILM (Film AI Hyperspectral Optical Sorter) powers the extraction of”urban oilfields”.

Leveraging an industry-leading AI database and 256-band hyperspectral precision recognition, it sorts PP/PE film from complex light materials with over 95% accuracy, while efficiently removing PVC film, PET film and other impurities. This ensures feedstock purity for subsequent pyrolysis and eliminates impurity interference at the source.

High-purity PP/PE film can be converted into pyrolysis oil via anaerobic thermal cracking. Refined further, this oil becomes fuel components such as off-spec diesel and gasoline—each ton of PP/PE film yields 0.6–0.75 tons of oil. This process realizes a sustainable “waste-to-energy” cycle and significantly cuts carbon emissions.

“Urban oilfield” are no longer a distant dream but a green opportunity of our time. DATABEYOND’s intelligent sorting technology is unlocking breakthroughs in the global energy transition and bolstering environmental protection. By harnessing innovation, we’re energizing the circular economy. Join us in exploring these “urban oilfields” through collaboration and cutting-edge solutions to drive sustainable development.

Series to debut on WFOX Jacksonville January 3, with nationwide daily launch on REVIVE beginning February 17, 2026

NASHVILLE, Tenn., Dec. 12, 2025 /PRNewswire/ — Media entrepreneur and television host Jay Walker has inked a major deal to host his upcoming television series, “Jay Walker: PRIMETIME,” a new program built for broadcast visibility and national scale. With pre-production already underway, the series is preparing for its first on-air rollout with an initial television debut in Jacksonville, Florida, followed by a nationwide daily launch on REVIVE in February.

Jay Walker: PRIMETIME will make its television debut on WFOX (CMG Jacksonville) on Saturday, Jan. 3, 2026, airing two brand-new, first-run episodes back-to-back at 5:00 p.m. ET and 5:30 p.m. ET. The Jacksonville broadcast marks the first confirmed market airing for the series and introduces viewers to a fast-paced format that blends culture, commentary, and real-life conversation.

Following the Jacksonville debut, Jay Walker: PRIMETIME will expand nationwide with a daily premiere on REVIVE beginning Tuesday, Feb. 17, 2026, airing at 3:00 p.m. ET / 2:00 p.m. CT. The launch positions the series as the anchor program for REVIVE, establishing Jay Walker: PRIMETIME as the flagship daily series that will help define the network’s identity and programming cadence as REVIVE continues to scale its national footprint.

PRIMETIME is about real conversation that moves at the speed of the culture,” said Jay Walker, host and executive producer. “We’re coming out strong with two brand-new episodes in Jacksonville, then we’re taking it nationwide on REVIVE every day starting Feb. 17. Pre-production is already in motion, and we’re building this show to last.

The series is designed to meet audiences across traditional television and modern distribution realities, with content structured to work both as full episodes and as high-impact segments for digital engagement. Jay Walker: PRIMETIME blends sharp conversation with relatable storytelling, focusing on topics people are already discussing—then adding context, perspective, and energy that keeps viewers tuned in.

The Jacksonville premiere will feature two distinct episodes to give viewers a fuller introduction to the show’s pace and tone. Rather than repeating content, the back-to-back airing is intended to deliver an extended first-look experience, allowing audiences to see range, rhythm, and the show’s signature approach within a single broadcast block.

Pre-production is currently underway, including creative planning, episode development, production scheduling, and technical preparation for both the January broadcast debut and the February national launch. Planning includes segment structure, topical coverage, talent and guest strategy, and show packaging designed to support consistent daily programming on REVIVE. Additional production details, including expanded market information and distribution availability, will be announced ahead of the national premiere.

Jay Walker’s move into daily television with Jay Walker: PRIMETIME reflects a broader push toward scalable, audience-first programming. The series is built around a straightforward mission: deliver conversation that feels immediate, honest, and watchable—without losing substance. Episodes are designed to be tight, energetic, and accessible, while still giving viewers moments of clarity and real takeaways.

While the show’s format will continue to evolve as production progresses, the core identity of Jay Walker: PRIMETIME is rooted in direct storytelling and culture-forward conversation. The series is positioned to cover the topics driving the day’s conversations, spotlight real-life narratives, and deliver big moments that translate cleanly across television and digital platforms. The approach is designed to support both live viewership and ongoing engagement through shareable clips and segments.

The January 3 WFOX airing is expected to serve as a strong introduction for broadcast audiences while setting the tone for the national daily rollout. The Jacksonville market debut provides a platform for immediate visibility and audience feedback, while the February REVIVE launch establishes the show’s long-term rhythm and recurring viewing habit.

Walker has become known for building media properties with a strong point of view and a culture-first sensibility. His work spans audio, digital, and television, with a focus on programming that prioritizes authenticity, momentum, and direct communication. Jay Walker: PRIMETIME is the latest step in that evolution—built to be consistent, scalable, and designed for the way audiences consume content today.

The nationwide REVIVE premiere begins Feb. 17, 2026, with new episodes airing daily at 3:00 p.m. ET / 2:00 p.m. CT. Additional information regarding national platform availability, market expansion, and schedule updates will be released as the premiere approaches.

Broadcast information for the Jacksonville debut: WFOX (CMG Jacksonville) will air Jay Walker: PRIMETIME on Saturday, Jan. 3, 2026, at 5:00 p.m. ET and 5:30 p.m. ET, featuring two brand-new, first-run episodes.
Nationwide daily launch information: REVIVE will begin airing Jay Walker: PRIMETIME daily starting Tuesday, Feb. 17, 2026, at 3:00 p.m. ET / 2:00 p.m. CT.
