The Appointments Add Experience Across Technology, Food and Beverage, Franchising, Branding, and Logistics

BREA, Calif., Sept. 11, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Reborn Coffee Inc. (Nasdaq: REBN) (the “Company”), a leader in the specialty coffee market, today announced the appointment of Edward Park and James Lim to its Board of Directors (the “Board”), effective September 3, 2026.

Mr. Park and Mr. Lim were appointed to fill vacancies on the Board following the Board’s decision to increase its authorized size from seven to eight members. Each director will serve until the Company’s next annual meeting of stockholders or until his successor is duly appointed and qualified, subject to earlier death, resignation, retirement, disqualification, removal from office or other cause.

The appointments broaden the range of operating and industry experience represented on the Board. Mr. Park brings more than 26 years of experience spanning advanced technology and international business management. His background includes senior and leadership roles in the computer and networking industries, including point-of-sale systems, fiber-optic communications, and high-speed networking. Mr. Park also has experience assisting with the development and management of franchise and restaurant businesses. He has served as chief executive officer of multiple companies. Earlier in his career, he held senior positions with Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd, Novell Korea, and Harmonic Inc. Mr. Park holds a Master of Electrical Engineering degree from Seoul National University and has received notable recognition for technology and sales performance during his career.

Mr. Lim brings more than 15 years of experience in coffee distribution, roasting, and branding. After graduating from Kookmin University with a degree in Education, he began his career in the coffee industry with a coffee distribution and roasting company. He subsequently spent more than ten years at Hollys Coffee in Seoul, South Korea, where his responsibilities included coffee distribution, roasting, and branding, followed by approximately five years at Caffe Bene where he served as General Manager. Mr. Lim currently works in the logistics industry in the United States.

Together, the appointments add perspectives spanning brand development, franchise operations, logistics, technology, and international business management. The Company believes this combination of experience will provide additional depth to the Board as it oversees Reborn Coffee’s operations and long-term business priorities.

Neither Mr. Park nor Mr. Lim has been appointed to a committee of the Board at this time, and neither will receive compensation for service as a director.

NEW YORK, Sept. 11, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — via BioMedWire — Quantum BioPharma Ltd. (NASDAQ: QNTM) today announces its placement in an editorial published by BioMedWire (BMW), one of 75+ brands within the Dynamic Brand Portfolio@IBN (InvestorBrandNetwork), a specialized communications platform with a focus on financial news and content distribution for private and public companies and the investment community.

To view the full publication, “Historic First in MS Treatment Could Reshape a Multibillion-Dollar Therapeutics Market,” please visit: https://ibn.fm/HOCTP

Today’s multiple sclerosis (“MS”) treatments can slow down disease progression, but none of them halt it outright, and none give back the function patients have already lost. Close to a million people in the United States, and nearly 2.9 million worldwide, live with that reality, watching a condition that steadily chips away at mobility, eyesight and basic physical control.

That gap in treatment options just picked up a serious new contender. Quantum BioPharma Ltd. has received U.S. Food and Drug Administration (“FDA”) clearance to launch a phase 2 trial of Lucid-MS, a patented, first-in-class candidate designed not to calm the immune system but to shield, and potentially rebuild, the myelin sheath itself. The clearance sets up what would be the first time in history that a drug built on this exact mechanism gets tested in people living with MS, a milestone significant enough that it has already drawn a fresh buy rating from Wall Street analysts.

About Quantum BioPharma Ltd.

Quantum is a biopharmaceutical company dedicated to building a portfolio of innovative assets and biotech solutions for the treatment of challenging neurodegenerative and metabolic disorders and alcohol misuse disorders with drug candidates in different stages of development. Through its wholly owned subsidiary, Lucid Psycheceuticals Inc., Quantum is focused on the research and development of its lead compound, Lucid-MS. Lucid-MS is a patented new chemical entity shown to prevent and reverse myelin degradation, the underlying mechanism of multiple sclerosis, in preclinical models. Quantum invented UNBUZZD(TM) and spun out its OTC version to a company, Unbuzzd Wellness Inc. (“Unbuzzd”) (formerly Celly Nutrition Corp.), led by industry veterans. Quantum retains ownership of 19.84% (as of March 31, 2026) of Unbuzzd at www.unbuzzd.com. The agreement with Unbuzzd also includes royalty payments of 7% of sales from unbuzzd(TM) until payments to Quantum total $250 million. Once $250 million is reached, the royalty drops to 3% in perpetuity. Quantum retains 100% of the rights to develop similar products or alternative formulations specifically for pharmaceutical and medical uses.

About Moleculin Biotech, Inc.

Moleculin Biotech, Inc. is a Phase 3 clinical stage pharmaceutical company advancing a pipeline of therapeutic candidates addressing hard-to-treat tumors and viruses. The Company’s lead program, Annamycin (also known as naxtarubicin), is a highly efficacious and well tolerated anthracycline designed to avoid multidrug resistance mechanisms and to lack the cardiotoxicity common with currently prescribed anthracyclines. Annamycin is currently in development for the treatment of relapsed or refractory acute myeloid leukemia (AML) and soft tissue sarcoma (STS) lung metastases.

The Company has begun the MIRACLE (Moleculin R/R AML AnnAraC Clinical Evaluation) Trial (MB-108), a pivotal, adaptive design, multi-center, randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled Phase 2/3 trial evaluating Annamycin in combination with cytarabine, together referred to as AnnAraC (the combination of Annamycin and cytarabine, also referred to as “Ara-C”) for the treatment of relapsed or refractory acute myeloid leukemia. Following a successful Phase 1B/2 study (MB-106), with input from the FDA, the Company believes it has substantially de-risked the development pathway towards a potential approval for Annamycin for the treatment of AML. This study remains subject to appropriate future filings with potential additional feedback from the FDA and their foreign equivalents.

Additionally, the Company is developing WP1066, an Immune/Transcription Modulator capable of inhibiting p-STAT3 and other oncogenic transcription factors while also stimulating a natural immune response, targeting brain tumors, pancreatic and other cancers. Moleculin also has in its pipeline a portfolio of antimetabolites, including WP1122 for the potential treatment of pathogenic viruses, as well as certain cancer indications.

Forward-looking statements in this press release include, without limitation, the potential efficacy and safety of Annamycin and AnnAraC in R/R AML and the expectation that interim efficacy trends observed in a limited patient population will be confirmed in the full study population (the interim results presented are based on a small sample size (n=45), have not achieved statistical significance, and may not be predictive of results from the completed trial). Moleculin will require significant additional financing, for which the Company has no commitments, in order to conduct its clinical trials as described in this press release, and the milestones described in this press release assume the Company’s ability to secure such financing on a timely basis. Although Moleculin believes that the expectations reflected in such forward-looking statements are reasonable as of the date made, expectations may prove to have been materially different from the results expressed or implied by such forward-looking statements. The Company relies on the reports of its expert with regard to the absence of cardiotoxicity. Transaction Establishes RWB in Germany and the United Kingdom, Two of Europe’s Most Important Medical Cannabis Markets

Businesses Comprising the European Platform Dispensed or Distributed More Than Twelve Tonnes of Medical Cannabis in the Twelve Months Ended July 20261

TORONTO, Sept. 11, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Red White & Bloom Brands Inc. (CSE: RWB) (“RWB” or the “Company”) is pleased to announce that it has closed a strategic transaction with HEAL Botanicals Pharma Inc. (the “Transaction”), pursuant to which RWB now holds a controlling interest in HEAL Europe Holdings Corp. (“HEH”), a newly incorporated entity established by HEAL Botanicals Pharma Inc. for purposes of the Transaction. HEH provides RWB with an integrated European medical cannabis platform comprising operations and investments in Germany, the United Kingdom and other European markets (the “European Platform”).

The Transaction represents a significant milestone in RWB’s international growth strategy and provides the Company with exposure to established businesses spanning across pharmacy operations, pharmaceutical distribution, medical cannabis brands, patient access, fulfillment and logistics. The European Platform includes the Grünhorn group of companies (“Grünhorn”), which fulfilled approximately 290,000 medical cannabis prescriptions in the twelve months ended July 2026. Collectively, the businesses comprising the European Platform dispensed or distributed over 12 tonnes of medical cannabis in the same period2.

The Transaction gives RWB a strategic foothold in two of Europe’s largest economies and key medical cannabis markets, with established operations, infrastructure, brands, patient demand and experienced teams already in place.

Significant European Market Opportunity

Germany has emerged as Europe’s largest regulated medical cannabis market, with demand accelerating following regulatory reforms introduced in 2024. Medical cannabis imports increased from approximately 73 tonnes in 2024 to approximately 205 tonnes in 20253, representing a year-over-year increase of approximately 176%. Further, industry data indicates that Germany’s pharmacy-based medical cannabis market surpassed €1 billion in annual sales in 20254.

The United Kingdom represents another significant long-term opportunity, supported by a large addressable market, importing over 30,000 kilograms of dried cannabis flower in 20255, an established private medical cannabis sector and considerable potential for continued patient adoption as awareness and access expand.

Together, entering into Germany and the United Kingdom provide RWB with a strategic foothold across two of Europe’s largest economies and key medical cannabis markets, creating opportunities to leverage established operations, brands, infrastructure and expertise as the Company builds its European Platform.

Management Commentary

“Over the past several months, we have strengthened and repositioned RWB through the strategic divesture of our Florida operations and expanded our Canadian platform through the recent acquisition of Ayurcann Inc.,” said Colby De Zen, President of RWB. “With the foundation of the Company strengthened, we are now positioned to continue executing on our broader growth strategy. Closing this transaction marks an important milestone in that strategy and establishes a meaningful platform for RWB’s expansion into Europe. Germany has rapidly emerged as Europe’s largest medical cannabis market, while the United Kingdom represents another significant and growing opportunity. Importantly, we are entering these markets with established businesses, proven operating infrastructure and experienced teams already in place. We believe this gives RWB an exceptional foundation from which to scale, expand our presence and capitalize on the significant opportunities we see across the European market.”

Grünhorn – Established German Medical Cannabis Platform

Through the Transaction, RWB acquired a controlling economic interest in Grünhorn, an established participant in Germany’s rapidly expanding medical cannabis market.

Grünhorn’s operating ecosystem encompasses online medical cannabis pharmacy operations, pharmaceutical distribution and wholesale capabilities, fulfillment and logistics infrastructure and digital patient access. These complementary capabilities provide RWB with an established platform serving patients and healthcare providers throughout the German medical cannabis market.

RWB believes Grünhorn’s established market presence, infrastructure and operating capabilities provide a strong foundation from which to participate in the continued growth and development of the German market.

United Kingdom Platform

RWB’s controlling interest in Leva HEAL Limited (“Leva”) and Zerenia Clinics Limited (“Zerenia”), which operates a private medical cannabis clinic in the United Kingdom, provide the Company with exposure to the United Kingdom’s developing private medical cannabis and healthcare market.

The United Kingdom platform complements Grünhorn’s presence in Germany and provides RWB with an additional avenue for growth as patient access, physician awareness and acceptance of medical cannabis continue to develop.

Together, the German and UK businesses provide RWB with a multi-market European platform and opportunities to share expertise, infrastructure, brands and operating capabilities across jurisdictions.

Transaction Structure and Ownership

On closing, RWB acquired approximately a 62.63% controlling interest in HEH from Heal Botanicals Pharma Inc. for nominal consideration. Through HEH’s ownership structure, RWB now holds an indirect 50.1% interest in Grünhorn Gruppe AG and its underlying operating businesses, reflecting RWB’s 62.63% acquired equity interest in HEH and HEH’s 80% equity interest in Grünhorn Gruppe AG.

RWB also acquired a direct 29.82% interest in both Zerenia and Leva with Heal Botanicals Pharma Inc. continuing to hold a 19.93% direct interest respectively. Combined with RWB’s indirect interest held through HEH, which holds 50.25% of Zerenia and Leva, RWB holds an effective interest of approximately 61.3% in each of Leva and Zerenia.

The Transaction therefore provides RWB with controlling economic interests in the principal businesses comprising the European Platform.

Senior Secured Credit Facility

In order to support the European Platform and its continued growth, RWB has committed to provide HEH with a senior secured credit facility of up to a maximum principal amount of C$25 million (the “Facility”), of which an aggregate of C$18.7 million has been advanced to date.

The principal terms of the Facility include:

  • a maximum committed principal amount of C$25 million, of which C$18.7 million has been advanced to date (C$15.7 million advanced as of June 30, 2026, with an additional C$3 million advanced on August 4, 2026);
  • interest at a fixed rate of 12% per annum;
  • interest during the first six months following closing (“the PIK Period”) will be capitalized and added to the outstanding principal;
  • a three-year term maturing September 10, 2029, with interest following the PIK Period payable from HEH’s cash flow in accordance with the terms set out in the definitive financing documents; and
  • a senior secured position over the assets of HEH, supported by guarantees and/or security from the relevant operating subsidiaries, in each case under the applicable financing and security documents.

In addition, approximately C$2.5 million of existing shareholder loans and intercompany balances will remain outstanding and be carried into HEH.

The combination of controlling equity ownership and senior secured financing provides RWB with participation in the long-term growth of the European Platform while preserving the protections and economics associated with its secured lending position.

Initial contract includes 100 Low-Cost Tactical ISR UAS systems, with options for Canadian Armed Forces to acquire up to 4,900 additional systems

Calgary, Alberta, Sept. 11, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Draganfly Inc. (NASDAQ: DPRO; CSE: DPRO; FSE: 3U8) (“Draganfly” or the “Company”), an award-winning, industry-leading developer of drone solutions and systems, today announced that it has been awarded a five-year contract by the Government of Canada to provide Low-Cost Tactical Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (“ISR”) Uncrewed Aircraft Systems (“UAS”) to the Canadian Armed Forces (“CAF”).

The initial contract includes a firm commitment for 100 Low-Cost Tactical ISR UAS systems, together with associated ground control stations, payloads, data links, support equipment, documentation, spare parts and training. Contracted pricing for the systems is commercially sensitive.

Under the five-year agreement, the Government of Canada has retained the right, at its sole discretion, to order up to an additional 4,900 UAS systems. If all available options were exercised, the total number of UAS systems supplied under the agreement to the Government of Canada would be 5,000. The contractual option for the additional 4,900 UAS systems has an aggregate value of approximately C$24.25 million if exercised in full. Any exercise of those options would require the appropriate written contract authorization or amendment.

The contract also includes initial cadre training for CAF personnel and provides Canada with options for additional training. Draganfly will support the program across system delivery, training, sustainment, spare parts, documentation, software and firmware support.

Draganfly was recently accepted as a qualified supplier in all five categories of Canada’s Defence Drone Initiative (“DDI”) Marketplace. This contract represents a subsequent procurement by the Government of Canada under the initiative and advances Draganfly’s participation in Canada’s expanding domestic defence and uncrewed systems ecosystem.

“This award is an important milestone for Draganfly and a meaningful opportunity to support the Canadian Armed Forces with systems designed to be fielded, supported and scaled in response to real operational requirements,” said Cameron Chell, President and CEO of Draganfly. “Canada is moving quickly to strengthen its sovereign defence capabilities and domestic industrial base. We are proud that Draganfly’s technology and team have been selected to contribute to that effort and look forward to delivering these systems into the hands of Canadian operators.”

Canada’s Defence Drone Initiative is intended to accelerate access to Canadian-developed uncrewed and autonomous capabilities while strengthening the country’s domestic defence industrial base. Low-cost tactical ISR drones are one of the initiative’s initial priority areas, with a focus on secure and affordable systems that can be widely deployed, field-tested and adapted based on operator requirements.

WARRENVILLE, Ill., Sept. 11, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Fuel Tech, Inc. (NASDAQ: FTEK), a technology company using advanced engineering processes to provide emissions control systems and water treatment technologies in utility and industrial applications, today announced the award of multiple air pollution control (APC) contracts valued at approximately $2.8 million for utility and industrial customers.

An order was secured for a urea reagent delivery system for a new U.S. utility customer adding new natural gas-fired turbines and reciprocating engines as part of a power plant expansion. The scope is to supply the urea reagent delivery systems to support Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) systems to reduce nitrogen oxide (NOx) emissions to meet the site requirements. The urea system eliminates the hazards associated with the transport, storage and handling of anhydrous or aqueous ammonia. Fuel Tech will commence engineering work immediately with equipment delivery expected in the third quarter of 2027.

Two separate awards were received for electrostatic precipitator (ESP) performance modeling services from new domestic and international customers. The ESP modeling incorporates a suite of interdependent computer models into a Numerical Electrostatic Precipitation (NEP) model, which quickly and economically identifies the available upgrade options that can help improve ESP performance and achieve compliance with new and emerging particulate environmental regulations.  Both modeling contracts are expected to be completed in the fourth quarter of 2026.

A contract was also secured from a repeat domestic customer to demonstrate Selective Non-Catalytic Reduction (SNCR) technology on a waste incinerator unit. Fuel Tech’s SNCR technology is a proven solution for industrial combustion unit owners looking to comply with more stringent NOx control requirements. The demonstration is scheduled for the third quarter of 2026 and, subject to a successful outcome, permanent equipment orders could be secured in the fourth quarter of 2026.

“We are pleased to announce these contract awards and upcoming demonstration that support the needs of our diverse customer base. These orders bring us to $15 million in announced bookings year-to-date, and an effective backlog of $20 million. We are continuing to actively pursue additional APC contracts that are likely to be awarded in the next 60-90 days. We continue to see growth in 2026 with our core products and services as we look towards future strategic growth opportunities,” said Ramesh Nuggihalli, President and CEO.

Company begins trading under HLSQ; completes rebrand to become an integrated platform serving digital infrastructure, energy, critical infrastructure and homeland security

NETANYA, Israel, Sept. 11, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Tessera Defense and Homeland Security Inc. (NYSE American: HLSQ), formerly BiomX Inc. (NYSE American: PHGE) (“Tessera” or the “Company”), today announced that its corporate name and ticker symbol changes are now effective, completing its rebrand as a physical security technology platform.

The Company’s common stock will begin trading under the symbol “HLSQ” on the NYSE American at the market open on Friday September 11, 2026. Trading will continue without interruption, and no action is required by stockholders in connection with the name and symbol change.

The rebrand comes as governments and organizations face increasing pressure to protect the infrastructure, systems and sites upon which modern society depends. Recent attacks and suspected acts of sabotage affecting power infrastructure across Europe, incidents involving energy and transportation infrastructure in Germany, and the heightened protection of critical infrastructure across Poland and the Baltic states have placed physical security firmly on the international agenda.

Tessera provides a unified security platform that connects cameras, sensors, detection technologies, artificial intelligence and other systems, and offers solution design as well as advisory capabilities to address customers’ evolving physical security needs. The platform is designed to detect threats, understand events as they unfold and coordinate response in real time, supporting security teams, security managers and chief security officers across complex environments. The Company serves customers across homeland security, critical infrastructure, as well as enterprise organizations seeking advanced physical security capabilities.

Modern threats often cross traditional security boundaries, while protective systems remain disconnected, offering only isolated alerts. By converting fragmented data into unified, real-time insights, Tessera’s solution, tailored to each site’s specific needs, enables security teams to see a site as a whole rather than as a series of separate alerts. Tessera also offers security experts to audit sites so the platform can be used to its full potential and enable security teams to have full situational awareness of their environment.

“The name Tessera reflects both how our platform works and how we’re building the Company,” said Michael Oster, CEO of Tessera. “A tessera is an individual tile that becomes part of a larger mosaic. In the same way, we’re bringing together complementary technologies across detection, intelligence and response to create one integrated security platform. As threats become more complex, national security and infrastructure protection personnel need to understand what is happening and coordinate action faster and more accurately. Tessera is designed to help them make quicker, better-informed decisions to protect people and keep critical systems and sites secure.”

Tessera’s capabilities include the AI-powered security intelligence technology of its subsidiary Zorronet and the LADAR-based detection systems of its subsidiary DFSL, supporting an integrated approach to advanced sensing, real-time intelligence and autonomous response.

The name change takes effect on the 25th anniversary of the September 11 attacks, a date the Company selected in remembrance of all those who were lost, including the hundreds of first responders who gave their lives while working to save others.

About Tessera Defense and Homeland Security Inc. (Formerly BiomX Inc.)

Tessera provides the technology, hardware and implementation expertise needed to tailor security solutions to the specific requirements of each site, helping customers deploy and optimize integrated security systems across critical infrastructure, energy, digital infrastructure and homeland security applications.
