Tornator Oyj (“Tornator“) issues senior secured green notes in the aggregate principal amount of EUR 300 million (the “Notes“). The Notes will mature on 23 January 2033 and carry a fixed annual interest of 4.50 per cent. The issue date for the notes will be on 23 September 2026. The Notes are issued in accordance with Tornator’s green finance framework published in spring 2026 (the “Framework“).

The Notes are secured by certain forest properties owned by Tornator which form a dynamic security pool that secures also Tornator’s other secured indebtedness.

At the same time, the successful issuance reflects the long-term and stable nature of Tornator’s business, as well as the positive impact of maintaining strong investor relationships”, says Antti Siirtola, Tornator’s Chief Financial Officer.

Tornator will submit an application to have the Notes listed on the official list of sustainable bonds of Nasdaq Helsinki Ltd.

Expands New Jersey retail footprint to five dispensaries

Dispensary generates over US$10 million in annualized revenue and will be immediately accretive to EBITDA and cash flow

TORONTO, Sept. 16, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — TerrAscend Corp. (the “Company”) (TSX: TSND) (OTCQX: TSNDF), a leading North American cannabis operator, today announced that its consolidated entities (together with the Company, “TerrAscend”) have closed on the previously announced transaction with Aunt Mary’s Dispensary LLC (“Aunt Mary’s”), located in Hunterdon County, New Jersey. Aunt Mary’s is TerrAscend’s fifth retail location in New Jersey and will be immediately accretive to TerrAscend on an EBITDA and free cash flow basis.

“Aunt Mary’s generates more than US$10 million in annualized revenue today, and we see meaningful opportunities to enhance sales and profitability through the integration of our premium brand portfolio,” said Jason Wild, Executive Chairman of TerrAscend. “We are excited to welcome the Aunt Mary’s team to the TerrAscend family.”

In June 2026, TerrAscend entered into an agreement with Aunt Mary’s and the other parties named therein for total consideration of US$9 million, comprised of (i) US$3 million in the form of a five-year unsecured convertible debenture (the “Debenture”) bearing interest at 6.0% per annum (subject to the Company’s right to pay interest in kind at the interest rates provided for and in accordance with the terms and conditions of the Debenture) for an option to purchase 35% of Aunt Mary’s (the “Option”) and (ii) US$6 million payable in cash upon exercise of the Option.

The transaction conforms to New Jersey’s regulatory framework, which facilitates investment opportunities for diversely owned businesses. Upon exercise of the Option and additional conditions, the transaction will allow the Company to fully consolidate the business in its financial results and increase TerrAscend’s consolidated retail footprint to a total of 21 dispensaries across five U.S. states and Canada.

About TerrAscend Corp.
TerrAscend Corp. is a leading TSX-listed cannabis company with interests across the North American cannabis sector, including operations in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Maryland, Ohio, and California through TerrAscend Growth Corp. and retail operations in Canada. TerrAscend operates The Apothecarium and other dispensary retail locations as well as scaled cultivation, processing, and manufacturing facilities in its core markets. TerrAscend’s cultivation and manufacturing practices yield consistent, high-quality cannabis, providing industry-leading product selection to both the medical and legal adult-use markets. The Company owns or licenses several synergistic businesses and brands including The Apothecarium, Cookies, Kind Tree, Legend, State Flower, Wana, Cuue, One and Valhalla. For more information visit www.terrascend.com.

Caution Regarding Cannabis Operations in the United States
Investors should note that there are significant legal restrictions and regulations that govern the cannabis industry in the United States. On April 23, 2026, the U.S. Department of Justice issued a final rule rescheduling marijuana contained in United States Food and Drug Administration (“FDA”)-approved drug products and marijuana subject to a state medical marijuana license from Schedule I to Schedule III of the Controlled Substances Act (“CSA”), which became effective on April 28, 2026. However, any form of marijuana other than in an FDA-approved drug product or marijuana subject to a state medical marijuana license remains a Schedule I controlled substance under the CSA, and those who handle such material remain subject to the regulatory controls and administrative, civil, and criminal sanctions applicable to Schedule I controlled substances. Financial transactions involving proceeds generated by, or intended to promote, cannabis-related business activities in the United States may form the basis for prosecution under applicable US federal money laundering legislation.

While the approach to enforcement of such laws by the federal government in the United States has trended toward non-enforcement against individuals and businesses that comply with medical or adult-use cannabis programs in states where such programs are legal, strict compliance with state laws with respect to cannabis will neither absolve the Company of liability under U.S. federal law, nor will it provide a defense to any federal proceeding which may be brought against the Company. The enforcement of federal laws in the United States is a significant risk to the business of the Company and any proceedings brought against the Company thereunder may adversely affect the Company’s operations and financial performance.

Company positioned highest for Ability to Execute and recognized for its Completeness of Vision

News Summary

  • Nutanix is recognized as a Leader in the 2026 Gartner® Magic Quadrant™ for Server Virtualization Platforms. This recognition arrives at a pivotal moment for IT leaders, many of whom are actively reassessing their virtualization strategy amidst industry consolidation, rising costs, and increasingly restrictive licensing models.
  • Nutanix is positioned highest for Ability to Execute and recognized for its Completeness of Vision.
  • As organizations navigate the transition from legacy environments to modern AI-ready hybrid architectures, Nutanix offers a proven, future-ready platform that prioritizes infrastructure freedom, operational simplicity, and technological superiority. Unlike legacy virtualization stacks that are being forced into rigid, “all-or-nothing” enterprise bundles, Nutanix delivers modular licensing that enables organizations to consume capabilities appropriate to their needs and modernize at their own pace.

Why it Matters

The recognition evaluates Nutanix’s capabilities in server virtualization and comes as organizations continue to readjust to the changing virtualization industry landscape. Nutanix Cloud Infrastructure (NCI), with its built-in AHV hypervisor based on proven open-source KVM virtualization technology, brings together compute, storage, networking and virtualization as the infrastructure foundation for Nutanix Cloud Platform (NCP), providing a unified way to run, manage, and govern VMs, containers, and AI workloads across distributed environments.

SAN JOSE, Calif., Sept. 16, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Nutanix (NASDAQ: NTNX), a hybrid cloud leader and AI platform company, today announced it has been recognized as a Leader in the 2026 Gartner Magic Quadrant for Server Virtualization Platforms.

Nutanix Cloud Infrastructure (NCI), with its built-in AHV hypervisor, provides the infrastructure foundation of Nutanix Cloud Platform (NCP), helping organizations run and manage workloads across hybrid cloud environments. NCI brings together compute, storage, networking, and virtualization capabilities to provide a consistent operating model across different infrastructure environments.

“As organizations modernize their infrastructure and prepare to run agentic AI at scale, they need a platform that gives them flexibility without added complexity and silos,” said Ketan Shah, Vice President of Product Management, Nutanix. “We believe being named a Leader in the 2026 Gartner® Magic Quadrant™ for Server Virtualization Platforms highlights how Nutanix empowers customers to run AI, virtual machines, and containers seamlessly across an expanding choice of clouds, sovereign locations, server and storage architectures, and managed service providers.”

Nutanix continues to support a broad range of workloads by offering flexible deployment architectures across an expanding list of server and storage hardware as well as public cloud locations, giving customers more flexibility and enabling them to leverage their existing investments when supply chains are constrained. Recent milestones include the general availability of support for Dell PowerStore, major updates for Everpure FlashArray and Dell PowerFlex, as well as limited availability of NetApp ONTAP, extending the range of infrastructure options customers can use while maintaining a consistent operating model.

Nutanix also recently introduced a full-stack Agentic AI solution that includes a secure, high-performance virtualization foundation for AI infrastructure. The solution brings together compute, networking, storage, and Kubernetes services to run AI workloads efficiently across hybrid cloud environments.

Nutanix also recently announced a strategic neocloud partnership with ChronoScale to extend its platform capabilities into accelerated compute and AI services.

In total, these advancements are designed to help customers modernize infrastructure while maintaining flexibility, consistent operations, and control across AI, VMs, and container workloads.

Customer Commentary

“We didn’t just want a replacement for legacy virtualization; we needed a future-proof foundation for our ambitious AI and cloud-native initiatives. With Nutanix, we have a platform that supports our new initiatives right alongside our core enterprise applications and removes a lot of hurdles from our journey.”

– Bhart Panwar, Additional General Manager, BHEL (Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited)

“Nutanix has been instrumental in our infrastructure modernization journey at Ente Autonomo Volturno. By providing a unified operating model that seamlessly bridges our virtualization and container environments, Nutanix allows us to efficiently manage our mission-critical applications and disaster recovery sites. The platform’s proven reliability and ease of use have given our IT team the confidence to innovate and scale our services, while ensuring high availability and operational resilience for the transportation system of the Campania Region.”

— Luciano Ragazzi, IT Director and CISO, Ente Autonomo Volturno

“Nutanix Cloud Platform gave us the freedom to move away from VMware after it was acquired by Broadcom and deliver a true hybrid cloud model. It allowed us to have a dual-native capacity where services like security, networking, and data protection are unified across both VMs and containers. Finally, it also accelerates our journey to AI with Nutanix Enterprise AI, offering a cloud-native control plane and platform for innovation via a familiar, easily manageable, and integrated environment.”

– Jasim Abdul Rahman, group CIO, Power International Holding

“Our Nutanix journey started more than a decade ago as a move away from traditional three-tier infrastructure, and today the platform supports around 90% of our on-premises environment. We’ve progressively moved from VMware to AHV, consolidated our core enterprise applications, and expanded the platform to support GPU-enabled teaching and research, self-service infrastructure, and hybrid cloud. What has worked particularly well for us is having a platform that can reliably support the University’s critical systems while continuing to evolve with our needs in areas such as AI, automation, and cloud native.”

– Justin Mason, Associate Director, Technology Services, University of Canberra

“AI and cloud native initiatives are critical to our business, but they also place significant demands on our IT infrastructure. Birlasoft needed a future-ready platform that went beyond simply replacing legacy virtualization. With Nutanix, we now have a modern foundation that supports our innovation roadmap while continuing to run and scale our core enterprise applications.”

– Vinod Krishnan, Global Head – IT, Birlasoft Limited

Consumer Education Campaign to Launch September 17 Across 13 US Markets

BALTIMORE and IRVING, Texas, Sept. 16, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Sinclair, Inc. (NASDAQ: SBGI), and Nexstar Media Group, Inc. (NASDAQ: NXST), today announced a joint consumer education campaign designed to increase awareness and understanding of NextGenTV, the broadcast technology powered by ATSC 3.0.

Launching September 17, the GoNextGenTV campaign will run across 13 markets served by Sinclair and Nexstar television stations, combining on-air promotion with digital and social content. The campaign is focused on consumer education, designed to make NextGenTV easier for consumers to understand, demonstrating the technology’s improved picture and sound, enhanced broadcast services, greater interactivity, and advanced capabilities of the ATSC 3.0 standard.

Nexstar will take part in the campaign across seven markets: Cleveland, Austin, Kansas City, Tampa, Portland, OR, Buffalo, and Denver. Sinclair will participate in six markets: Las Vegas, Columbus, Nashville, Baltimore, Seattle, and Washington, D.C.

The campaign builds on a successful consumer education initiative developed and tested by Sinclair this summer in Columbus, Ohio.

“Consumer education is an important part of accelerating adoption of NextGenTV,” said Del Parks, President of Technology, Sinclair. “Our experience in Columbus demonstrated that when consumers understand what NextGenTV is, how to access it and the benefits it can deliver, we can meaningfully increase engagement. By partnering with Nexstar, we can take what we learned from that campaign and bring a consistent, consumer-friendly message to viewers across an even broader group of markets.  Now is the time for all broadcasters to begin promoting the advantages of NextGenTV.”

Both companies will use a shared set of campaign resources and direct viewers to GoNextGenTV.com, a consumer website offering information about NextGenTV, compatible devices and availability by market.

“The transition to NextGenTV has been a story of broadcasters working together to bring new capabilities to TV viewers. The cooperation and collaboration with Sinclair to educate those viewers is the next chapter in that story,” said Brett Jenkins, Nexstar’s Executive Vice President and Chief Technology and Digital Officer. “We’re confident that as consumers come to understand the advantages of NextGenTV, they will be eager to adopt it and will seek out TV models with ATSC 3.0 capability.”

The September launch represents the first phase of the joint campaign, with Sinclair and Nexstar using their local market reach and trusted local brands to connect directly with consumers and provide practical information about the transition to NextGenTV.
