Meet the final 26 recipients of T-Mobile’s Hometown Grants program and join us in celebrating a milestone five years in the making. Since 2021, T-Mobile has invested more than $22.8 million to support 500 community projects in small towns and rural communities across 49 states and Puerto Rico. From revitalized downtowns and community gathering spaces to technology upgrades and recreation projects, Hometown Grants has impacted more than 4.2 million people, inspired over 300,000 volunteer hours and generated nearly $125 million in matched funding, helping communities turn local ideas into lasting change.

As part of its commitment to expanding opportunity and empowering future generations, AEG‘s Dignity Health Sports Park welcomed 48 students from Girls Inc. Los Angeles for a career exploration experience designed to introduce young women to professional opportunities across the sports and entertainment industry.

Representing Bethune Middle School, Marina del Rey Middle School, Bret Harte Preparatory Middle School, and Venice High School, students ages 12 to 18 participated in a candid discussion with female leaders from Dignity Health Sports Park and the LA Galaxy. Through conversations focused on career journeys, leadership, and professional development, students gained insights into a wide range of fields, including community affairs, creative content, digital media, team operations, and event management.

The experience provided meaningful exposure to career paths that young women may not traditionally consider, while creating opportunities to connect directly with professionals whose journeys demonstrate the value of perseverance, mentorship, and leadership.

In addition to the panel discussion, participants received a behind-the-scenes tour of Dignity Health Sports Park, gaining firsthand insight into the teams and professionals who help deliver world-class sports and entertainment experiences for millions of fans each year.

The program reflects AEG and Dignity Health Sports Park’s broader commitment to investing in youth development and expanding access to career exploration opportunities that build confidence, broaden aspirations, and create pathways to future success. By connecting students with industry leaders and real-world workplace experiences, AEG aims to inspire the next generation of innovators, storytellers, creators, and leaders who will help shape the future of sports and entertainment.

  • 93% of teachers have students whose families cannot afford school supplies, leading teachers to spend an average of $895 out-of-pocket each year
  • More than 630 Subaru retailers nationwide will provide teachers with funding to purchase essential classroom supplies

CAMDEN, N.J., August 3, 2026 /3BL/ – Subaru of America, Inc. Together with more than 630 retailers, Subaru will provide teachers with funding to purchase essential classroom supplies and high-quality resources that support student success.

As the new school year approaches, affording basic classroom essentials remains a significant economic barrier for many families and educators alike. According to AdoptAClassroom.org, 93% of teachers have students whose families cannot afford school supplies, often prompting those educators to fill the gap themselves. The average teacher in the U.S. spends $895 of their own money each year on classroom materials, a figure that has risen nearly 50% since 2015. Through its commitment to being More Than a Car Company®, Subaru is helping ease that burden by supporting classrooms nationwide and ensuring students and educators have the resources they need for a successful start to the school year.

The average teacher in the U.S. spends $895 of their own money each year on classroom materials. To help make a difference, Subaru of America and its retailers are providing funding through the Subaru Loves Learning® initiative to teachers across the country to purchase essential classroom supplies through AdoptAClassroom.org, so students have what they need to start the year strong.

Alan Bethke, Senior Vice President of Marketing at Subaru of America, Inc.: “Students and teachers in high-needs schools deserve access to the classroom resources they need to succeed, and our retailers continue to go above and beyond on their behalf in support of Subaru Loves Learning. Many participating retailers will also donate curated school supply kits filled with local teachers’ most-requested materials, and some will go a step further by providing flexible funding for special school and classroom projects. Additionally, Subaru Gear will donate $1 to AdoptAClassroom.org for every “Education” Badge of Ownership ordered, up to $2,000 total**, further reinforcing the automaker’s mission to ensure that students and educators have what they need to start the school year strong.

NAIROBI, Kenya, August 3, 2026 /3BL/ – Workable, a leading premium coworking operator in East Africa, has become the first workspace in Africa to achieve the WELL Coworking Rating for its flexible workplace in Nairobi, Kenya – setting a new benchmark for health, well-being and performance in the region’s flexible workspace market.

Developed by the International WELL Building Institute (IWBI) in partnership with The Instant Group, the WELL Coworking Rating is the first global standard dedicated to health and well-being in coworking environments. It provides a structured framework for operators to enhance member experience across key areas including air and water quality, light, comfort, fitness, and mental well-being.

By achieving the rating, Workable joins a select group of global operators leading the shift towards people-first workspaces, designed not just for productivity, but for long-term health, satisfaction and performance.

Workable’s achievement reflects a broader commitment to creating work environments that go beyond traditional office experience. The organisation has consistently focused on delivering high-quality, flexible workspace solutions that support the evolving needs of enterprises, entrepreneurs and global organisations operating in Africa.

This milestone builds on Workable’s strong track record in sustainability and operational excellence, including its EDGE certification for resource-efficient design.

Samir Patel, Founder & CEO at Workable, commented: “As global organisations increasingly hold their real estate to ESG and well-being standards, achieving Africa’s first WELL Coworking Rating gives our members a workspace that already meets that benchmark. We’re proud to give enterprises operating in Nairobi a space that supports both their people and their compliance commitments and to set a standard we intend to keep raising across the continent.”

The award marks a significant step forward for the African coworking sector, signalling growing demand for health-led, experience-driven workspace solutions.

As corporate occupiers increasingly prioritise employee well-being, ESG leadership and performance outcomes, certifications such as the WELL Coworking Rating are rapidly becoming a key differentiator for operators.

Sam Pickering, Managing Director at Incendium, part of The Instant Group, said: “Workable’s achievement demonstrates how leading operators are redefining the value of workspace. By placing health and wellbeing at the centre of their strategy, they are creating environments where people perform at their best and organisations achieve better outcomes.”

As the first operator in Africa to achieve this milestone, Workable is helping to define the future of flexible workspaces across the continent, one that is health-focused, experience-led and aligned with global best practice.

Ann Marie Aguilar, Senior Vice President, EMEA, IWBI, said: “Congratulations to Workable for their pioneering WELL Coworking Rating achievement. This milestone reflects outstanding leadership, setting a high bar for the industry in Africa while demonstrating the value of health-focused, high-performing environments. Through this achievement, Workable is playing a pivotal role in advancing the global movement for healthier workplaces.”
