The Agency reiterated its commitment to addressing the unmet need for treatment of congenital and tumor-related hyperinsulinism and to serving these patient communities

On track to report topline results for the Phase 3 upLIFT study in tumor HI this quarter

REDWOOD CITY, Calif., Oct. 05, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Rezolute, Inc. (Nasdaq: RZLT) (“Rezolute” or the “Company”), a late-stage ultra-rare disease company focused on treating refractory hypoglycemia caused by any form of hyperinsulinism (“HI”), today announced that following a preliminary review of detailed data from the Phase 3 sunRIZE study of ersodetug for the treatment of hypoglycemia due to congenital HI, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (“FDA” or “Agency”) recommended a pre-BLA meeting with the Company as a precursor to submitting a BLA.

As previously reported, sunRIZE, a Phase 3, multicenter, double-blind, randomized, placebo-controlled safety and efficacy study of ersodetug for the treatment of congenital HI, demonstrated glycemic improvements, but did not meet the primary endpoint because the reductions in hypoglycemia events by finger-stick self-monitored blood glucose (SMBG) were not statistically significant compared to placebo. Although the key secondary endpoint of time in hypoglycemia by continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) was not met in the Week 24 End-of-Treatment evaluable window, consistent and clinically relevant improvements in hypoglycemia were observed for this and multiple other CGM-based hypoglycemia endpoints in both treatment arms.

At a March 2026 Type B meeting with FDA, the Agency acknowledged the challenges posed by behavioral factors in clinical trials in this patient population, including limitations associated with SMBG based measures of hypoglycemia. At the meeting, the Agency requested that the Company provide the continuous CGM data for its independent review. In June 2026, the Company submitted source and analysis datasets, and summary results from a substantial number of pre-specified, post-hoc, and sensitivity analyses.

The Agency has reviewed the data and, despite the trial’s failure to meet the prespecified primary and key secondary endpoints, as a next step, encouraged the Company to request a Type B pre-BLA meeting as a precursor to submitting a BLA for congenital HI. The Agency explicitly did not opine on the approvability of ersodetug for congenital HI and noted that any such determination would only be made as a part of an in-depth evaluation of the supporting data during a formal BLA review, as is customary during a BLA process.

In light of expected topline results this quarter from the Company’s upLIFT study in tumor HI and the potential for an additional pre-BLA meeting for that indication should the study results support a submission, the Company will evaluate its overall BLA submission strategy for potentially both programs following the announcement of upLIFT study results.

“We appreciate FDA’s thorough review of the extensive body of data generated in sunRIZE and are encouraged by the Agency’s recognition that this data will require in-depth evaluation during a formal BLA review,” said Nevan Charles Elam, Chief Executive Officer and Founder of Rezolute. “We share FDA’s commitment to addressing the significant unmet needs of individuals living with rare diseases like congenital HI, where traditional drug development can present unique challenges. We believe this unusual process of preliminary review of detailed data demonstrates what can be achieved when regulators, companies, clinicians, and advocacy organizations work collaboratively to evaluate the totality of evidence for promising rare disease therapies.”

“For many people living with congenital hyperinsulinism, the threat of severe and unpredictable hypoglycemia remains a daily reality, and existing treatments are not enough,” said Julie Raskin, Chief Executive Officer of Congenital Hyperinsulinism International (CHI). “We are encouraged by the progress toward potential new therapies and grateful to the patients, families, researchers, clinicians, regulators, and biotechnology companies working together to bring better options to our community.”

The open-label extension (OLE) phase of the study is ongoing, with a continued high retention rate, equating to an ersodetug treatment duration in sunRIZE ranging from approximately nine months to well over two years. This, along with continued glycemic control and a notable reduction in the use of background standard of care therapies, potentially indicate continued glycemic and clinical benefit with ersodetug in longer-term use.

About Ersodetug

Ersodetug is a fully human monoclonal antibody that binds allosterically to the insulin receptor to decrease receptor over-activation by insulin and related substances (such as IGF-2) in the setting of hyperinsulinism (HI), thereby improving hypoglycemia. Because ersodetug acts downstream from pancreatic insulin or paraneoplastic IGF-2 secretion and from entero-incretin pathways, it has the potential to be universally effective at treating refractory hypoglycemia due to any form of hyperinsulinism (HI), including congenital HI, tumor HI (insulinoma, non-islet cell tumors) or bariatric/non-bariatric gastrointestinal surgery hypoglycemia. Ersodetug for the treatment of HI is investigational. Statements about safety and efficacy have not been approved by any health authority.

Forward-Looking Statements

This release, like many written and oral communications presented by Rezolute and our authorized officers, may contain certain forward-looking statements regarding our prospective performance and strategies within the meaning of Section 27A of the Securities Act and Section 21E of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934, as amended. We intend such forward-looking statements to be covered by the safe harbor provisions for forward-looking statements contained in the Private Securities Litigation Reform Act of 1995 and are including this statement for purposes of said safe harbor provisions. Forward-looking statements, which are based on certain assumptions and describe future plans, strategies, and expectations of Rezolute, are generally identified by use of words such as “anticipate,” “believe,” “estimate,” “expect,” “intend,” “plan,” “project,” “seek,” “strive,” “try,” or future or conditional verbs such as “could,” “may,” “should,” “will,” “would,” or similar expressions. These forward-looking statements include, but are not limited to, the overall BLA process, the potential efficacy of ersodetug in treating hypoglycemia as well as our ability to complete enrollment of the upLIFT study this year and announce topline results. Our ability to predict results or our plans or strategies is inherently uncertain. Notably, despite the FDA encouraging us to request a pre-BLA meeting for congenital HI, there can be no assurance that FDA will agree with the Company that the totality of evidence from the sunRIZE program demonstrates a clinically meaningful benefit or is sufficient to support the approval for ersodetug in congenital HI. Accordingly, FDA may determine that additional clinical data, including data from a new randomized controlled trial similar to sunRIZE, are required to support approval. Should the Agency make such a determination, it would adversely impact the timing and feasibility of approval for the congenital HI indication as well as the the commercial potential for ersodetug. Actual results may differ materially from anticipated results. Readers are cautioned not to place undue reliance on these forward-looking statements, which speak only as of the date of this release. Except as required by applicable law or regulation, Rezolute undertakes no obligation to update these forward-looking statements to reflect events or circumstances that occur after the date on which such statements were made. Important factors that may cause such a difference include any other factors discussed in our filings with the SEC, including the Risk Factors contained in Rezolute’s Annual Report on Form 10-K and Quarterly Reports on Form 10-Q, which are available at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission’s website at www.sec.gov. You are urged to consider these factors carefully in evaluating the forward-looking statements in this release and are cautioned not to place undue reliance on such forward-looking statements, which are qualified in their entirety by this cautionary statement.

Tsang joins AIBotics as Strategic Advisor ahead of contemplated CEO and director appointment upon closing, as Company moves to acquire the U.S.-focused Empulser defense-technology platform

MIAMI, Oct. 05, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — AIBotics, Inc. (OTCID: AIBT) (“AIBotics” or the “Company”), a public company focused on AI-enabled robotics, intelligent automation and emerging technology, today announced that on October 2, 2026 it entered into an Agreement for the Exchange of Stock (the “Exchange Agreement”) with Empulser Enterprises LLC (“Empulser”), a Wyoming limited liability company founded by Patrick Tsang, and the members of Empulser. Upon closing, AIBotics will acquire 100% of the issued and outstanding membership interests of Empulser, and Empulser will become a wholly owned subsidiary of AIBotics. In connection with the transaction and the Company’s next phase of strategic growth, Tsang has joined AIBotics as a Strategic Advisor.

The agreement brings Tsang and Empulser to the center of AIBotics’ evolving public-company strategy. Empulser is being developed around the convergence of wireless power, autonomous systems, AI-enabled unmanned technologies and the infrastructure required to support more persistent autonomous operations. The proposed acquisition is intended to provide a public-market platform through which Empulser can pursue technology development, intellectual-property expansion, testing and validation, capitalization, strategic relationships and, ultimately, commercial and defense applications.

Patrick Tsang Brings a New Technology Platform to AIBotics

Tsang brings more than two decades of experience across global capital markets, public-company transactions, mergers and acquisitions, strategic investing, corporate development and emerging technology. As Strategic Advisor to AIBotics, he is expected to work with Chief Executive Officer Ben Kaplan and the Company on strategic growth, capital-markets strategy, corporate development, international partnerships and the identification of opportunities across AI, robotics, autonomous systems and related technologies.

Tsang is Chairman of Tsang Group, a fourth-generation single family office with interests across technology, real estate and natural resources. Over more than two decades, he has worked across international investment, capital formation, mergers and acquisitions, corporate development and emerging technology, building relationships across Asia, Europe, the Middle East and North America. He is also the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Empulser, the defense and dual-use technology platform that AIBotics has agreed to acquire.

A Public-Market Track Record

Under Patrick Tsang’s leadership, an early-stage investment was made in Pulse Evolution Group in 2018, alongside a strategic advisory role. Pulse subsequently became part of FaceBank Group, which completed its merger with fuboTV in 2020, culminating in fuboTV trading on the New York Stock Exchange during the Covid period.

Empulser: Defense, Autonomy and the Infrastructure Behind Intelligent Machines

Empulser is focused on building a U.S. defense and dual-use technology platform around wireless power and autonomous systems. Its development strategy centers on technologies intended to address a fundamental challenge facing unmanned platforms: extending operational endurance while reducing dependence on manual charging and support infrastructure. Empulser’s broader vision includes wireless power transfer, autonomous aerial and ground systems, AI-enabled mission functionality and infrastructure designed to support unmanned operations across defense, government, critical-infrastructure and commercial environments.

Empulser remains in a development and commercialization phase. Future technology, product, testing, certification, customer and revenue milestones will be announced only as they are achieved and can be substantiated. AIBotics and Empulser intend to build public communications around documented execution rather than projected milestones.

Transaction Overview

Under the Exchange Agreement, AIBotics will acquire 100% of the issued and outstanding membership interests of Empulser from the Empulser Members in exchange for up to 2,200,000 shares of a newly designated Series C Preferred Stock having an aggregate stated value of up to $22.0 million. The Certificate of Designation provides for an original issue price of $10.00 per share. Of the total acquisition consideration, 220,000 shares, representing 10%, are allocated to the closing and 198,000, representing 9%, shares are allocated to each of ten separate earn-out milestones.

The earn-out period begins at closing and continues for 36 months. The milestones cover specified patent filings and issuances, product demonstration and flight testing, acceptance into a formal test, evaluation or pilot program, and achievement of $500,000 in cumulative recognized revenue. Shares tied to a milestone are earned only if that milestone is achieved during the earn-out period; unearned milestone shares will cease to be issuable or will be forfeited and cancelled, as applicable under the Exchange Agreement.

The Series C Preferred Stock pays no dividends and generally has no voting rights except as provided in the Certificate of Designation or required by law. Each share is convertible at the holder’s option into AIBotics common stock under the formula set forth in the Certificate of Designation. The initial conversion price will equal the closing price of AIBotics common stock on its principal market on the trading day immediately preceding the transaction closing, subject to specified adjustments. Conversion is subject to certain beneficial-ownership limitations, subject to the notice and waiver provisions described in the Certificate of Designation.

AIBotics may, in its sole discretion, advance up to $2.0 million to Empulser before closing for expenditures under an approved budget. Any advances will be structured as loans secured by a first-priority security interest in all of Empulser’s assets and will be subject to the promissory note and related security documents to be negotiated.

Closing is subject to customary and transaction-specific conditions, including the transfer of 100% of Empulser’s membership interests, compliance with the parties’ covenants and representations, delivery by Empulser of audited financial statements for the periods required by Regulation S-X prepared in accordance with U.S. GAAP, and AIBotics being current in its SEC and/or OTC Markets filing obligations and labeled “Current” on OTC Markets. The Exchange Agreement provides for termination in specified circumstances if the transaction has not closed within 90 days after October 2, 2026 or if applicable closing conditions have not been satisfied or waived by January 2, 2027. There can be no assurance that the transaction will close.

As disclosed in the Form 8-K, Tsang is to provide consulting and advisory services regarding AIBotics’ existing business for 90 days or until a chief executive officer agreement becomes effective. Subject to applicable law, a satisfactory background and eligibility review, approval by AIBotics’ Board of Directors in the exercise of its fiduciary duties, and execution of a satisfactory CEO agreement, AIBotics intends to appoint Tsang as Chief Executive Officer and a director effective upon closing of the Empulser acquisition.

The foregoing is a summary of selected transaction terms. Additional information regarding the Exchange Agreement, the Series C Preferred Stock, the closing conditions and the proposed transaction is contained in AIBotics’ Current Report on Form 8-K filed with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, including the Exchange Agreement filed as Exhibit 10.1. The full agreement and filed disclosure should be reviewed for a complete description of the transaction.

Management Commentary

Ben Kaplan, Chief Executive Officer of AIBotics, said, “This is an important step in the evolution of AIBotics. Patrick brings a rare combination of global capital-markets experience, public-company transaction expertise, technology investing, corporate development and international relationships — and he has built Empulser around technologies that fit directly into where we believe AI and autonomous systems are heading. The definitive agreement gives us a potential foundation for building a much broader defense and dual-use technology platform. Patrick’s experience identifying emerging opportunities, attracting capital, developing strategic relationships and navigating public markets can be extremely valuable as we move into this next phase.”

Patrick Tsang said, “This transaction marks an important new chapter for Empulser. We believe the opportunity in autonomous systems is much broader than building another drone or robot. The real challenge is enabling intelligent machines to operate for longer, with greater resilience and less human intervention. Empulser is being built around that challenge — combining wireless power, autonomous systems and enabling technologies to increase the persistence and effectiveness of unmanned platforms. Working with Ben and the AIBotics team gives us a public-market platform from which to develop the technology, attract world-class partners and capital, and build a significant U.S. defense and dual-use technology company.”

During the pre-closing period, Tsang’s advisory role is expected to include strategic growth, capital formation, public-market strategy, corporate development, international partnerships and the evaluation of complementary emerging technologies and acquisition opportunities. As disclosed in the Form 8-K, following the closing of the acquisition of Empulser, AIBotics also intends, subject to the conditions described in the Exchange Agreement, to appoint Tsang as Chief Executive Officer and a director. The Company expects to provide additional updates as the Empulser transaction progresses and as material operating milestones are achieved.

  • An alliance agreement was signed with PDVSA, Lindsayca and Fulcrum LNG, Inc. to restore energy infrastructure for gas production
  • An MOU with New Stratus Energy Inc. was also recently signed to support the future development of in-country oil and gas resources

CARACAS, Venezuela, Oct. 05, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Baker Hughes (NASDAQ: BKR), an energy technology company, Monday announced the signing of two strategic agreements to accelerate the revitalization of Venezuela’s energy infrastructure across the natural gas value chain and expansion of the country’s energy production.

In Caracas, the company signed a strategic alliance agreement with PDVSA, Lindsayca and Fulcrum LNG, Inc. to revitalize and expand the country’s natural gas infrastructure. Baker Hughes also recently signed a separate Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with New Stratus Energy Inc. to support the development of future oil and gas prospects.

Together, these agreements establish an enterprise deal framework that can connect upstream resource development, midstream infrastructure, gas monetization, and LNG commercialization. This creates a pathway to unlock Venezuela’s significant natural gas potential.

“A central objective of these partnerships is the development of an integrated gas value chain capable of transforming Venezuela’s substantial natural gas resources into reliable domestic supply and future export opportunities, including the potential to export the first LNG molecules produced in Venezuela,” said Lorenzo Simonelli, chairman and CEO of Baker Hughes. “Venezuela holds tremendous potential to become a significant contributor to the evolving global energy landscape, and these agreements are designed to bring world-class resource opportunities, project development, energy infrastructure & technologies, and financing expertise together to realize this.”

“This strategic alliance with PDVSA is a historic opportunity to maximize the use and value of Venezuela’s natural gas resources, and it reflects the capabilities and expertise of Fulcrum, Lindsayca and Baker Hughes in developing fully integrated gas value chains, from upstream production to end markets,” said Jesus Bronchalo, CEO of Fulcrum LNG, Inc.

“In the near term, we will work closely with PDVSA to identify and execute the infrastructure developments and upgrades needed to meet its internal gas requirements, while pursuing opportunities to supply natural gas to the domestic market to support reliable power generation for Venezuela and its people. Over the medium and long term, we will evaluate the development and financing of new open-access midstream and LNG infrastructure that gives PDVSA and other upstream operators solutions to monetize their gas, positioning Venezuela to become a key player in the global gas and LNG industry and helping meet growing world energy demand,” Bronchalo said.

About the agreements

Under the alliance with PDVSA, Lindsayca and Fulcrum, the companies will combine Baker Hughes’ broad portfolio of industrialized energy solutions for oil and gas field development, gas infrastructure and LNG solutions, Lindsayca’s engineering, procurement, construction, and operational capabilities, and Fulcrum’s midstream and LNG project development, financing and market access. The collaboration will focus on developing project specific agreements, advancing critical infrastructure required to process, transport, commercialize, and export natural gas, for the first time in the history of Venezuela.

The alliance is a cooperation framework. Any specific project will be subject to separate definitive agreements, each party’s internal approvals, and applicable U.S. sanctions and export control requirements, including authorizations issued by the U.S. Department of the Treasury’s Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC).

Through the MOU with New Stratus Energy, Baker Hughes will support the development of future oil and gas prospects. The partnership will leverage Baker Hughes’ integrated portfolio of subsurface, drilling, production, processing, digital, emissions abatement, power generation, oil and gas monetization, and liquefied natural gas (LNG) technologies to maximize resource recovery opportunities and accelerate future project developments.

Baker Hughes has supported Venezuela’s energy sector for more than 60 years. Its installed base in country includes more than 1,200 oil production systems, the largest artificial lift footprint, significant flexible pipe infrastructure, and approximately 240 turbomachinery units across 23 sites.

Partnership intended to establish a Texas-based manufacturing pathway for pharmaceutical-grade ibogaine as TIRC advances its planned U.S. development program

HIGHLIGHTS

  • Texas Ibogaine Research Corporation (“TIRC”), the wholly-owned Texas subsidiary of Psyence BioMed, enters manufacturing partnership with Benuvia Operations, LLC for the planned U.S. manufacture of pharmaceutical-grade ibogaine active pharmaceutical ingredient (“API”)
  • Benuvia operates an 83,000-square-foot, DEA-registered controlled-substance manufacturing facility in Round Rock, Texas, with capabilities spanning development through commercial-scale production
  • Partnership is intended to connect TIRC’s planned exclusive U.S. access to PsyLabs’ pharmaceutical-grade ibogaine under TIRC’s previously announced binding term sheet with PsyLabs, with U.S.-based controlled-substance manufacturing capabilities
  • The partnership represents another step in Psyence BioMed’s strategy to build an integrated U.S. supply, manufacturing and regulatory development platform for ibogaine through TIRC

NEW YORK, Oct. 05, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Psyence Biomedical Ltd. (Nasdaq: PBM) (“Psyence BioMed” or the “Company”) today announced that its wholly-owned Texas subsidiary, Texas Ibogaine Research Corporation (“TIRC”), has entered into a manufacturing services agreement with Benuvia Operations, LLC (“Benuvia”) of Round Rock, Texas, establishing a manufacturing partnership for the planned U.S. manufacture of pharmaceutical-grade ibogaine active pharmaceutical ingredient (“API”) under current Good Manufacturing Practice (“cGMP”) standards.

The manufacturing partnership builds upon TIRC’s previously announced binding term sheet with Psyence Labs Ltd. (“PsyLabs”), a significant shareholder of Psyence BioMed and in which Psyence BioMed holds an ownership interest, for an exclusive U.S. license, supply and wholesale distribution arrangement covering PsyLabs’ pharmaceutical-grade ibogaine. The term sheet is to be superseded by a definitive agreement, which the parties have agreed to conclude on or before November 30, 2026. PsyLabs’ material is supported by a regulatory-readiness package that includes GMP-compliant production, an Investigator’s Brochure and certificates of analysis.

Benuvia operates an approximately 83,000-square-foot pharmaceutical manufacturing facility in Round Rock, Texas, registered with the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration (“DEA”), with capabilities spanning controlled-substance API development and manufacturing, analytical development, stability programs and regulatory support. According to Benuvia, it currently holds approximately half of the U.S. aggregate production quota for ibogaine, providing an established foundation for potential domestic production. Applications for the import permit and procurement quota required for the planned production are being advanced with the DEA by Benuvia. Because Benuvia’s commercial-scale manufacturing infrastructure is already in place, the Company believes that the timing and scale of any U.S. ibogaine production will be governed primarily by applicable DEA quotas, controlled-substance import requirements and other regulatory authorizations.

“Benuvia brings a DEA-registered U.S. facility with the quota, systems and track record required to manufacture controlled substances to pharmaceutical standards,” said Jody Aufrichtig, Chief Executive Officer of Psyence BioMed and TIRC. “Combined with our planned licensed supply, we believe this has the potential to create an end-to-end pathway from pharmaceutical-grade source material through U.S.-based manufacturing.”

“Benuvia brings more than 10 years of experience in the development and commercial manufacturing of DEA Schedule I–V controlled substances to rigorous pharmaceutical standards,” said Terry Novak, Chief Executive Officer of Benuvia. “Our Round Rock facility was purpose-built for controlled-substance manufacturing and provides the infrastructure, regulatory capabilities, and commercial-scale capacity required for complex programs like ibogaine. While ibogaine has been discussed for decades, pharmaceutical-grade manufacturing capacity in the United States has remained extremely limited. Through our partnership with TIRC and Psyence BioMed, we believe we have an opportunity to change that — manufacturing ibogaine in America, to exacting specifications and at the scale this program will require if and as DEA quota expands. We have the experience, the facility, and the team in place. We are ready to begin.”

“For a regulated ibogaine development program, manufacturing is inseparable from the regulatory strategy,” said Dr. John Thorne, Project Lead, TIRC. “Establishing a U.S.-based manufacturing pathway is intended to strengthen chain-of-custody controls, batch consistency and the chemistry, manufacturing and controls work required to support future regulatory submissions. We believe Benuvia’s capabilities give us an experienced U.S. manufacturing platform on which to build that work.”

Psyence BioMed views this manufacturing partnership as more than a manufacturing milestone; it is part of a broader effort to advance the clinical and regulatory work required to develop potential ibogaine-based therapies for patients facing significant unmet needs, including opioid use disorder, other substance use disorders and mental health conditions affecting veterans.

The Company believes that the combination of pharmaceutical-grade supply at source and Texas-based cGMP manufacturing would position TIRC to support regulated research and clinical programs if and when applicable quotas are expanded. If compliant U.S. production capacity is established, the Company believes it would be better positioned to support the research and clinical development programs that could ultimately underpin future regulatory approvals and patient access.

Alector grants Genentech exclusive rights to develop and commercialize AL050, an investigational GCase Enzyme Replacement Therapy (ERT) enabled by Alector Brain Carrier (ABC), Alector’s proprietary blood-brain barrier delivery platform

Alector to receive $100 million upfront payment, with potential for up to $1.17 billion in additional milestone payments, as well as tiered royalties on net sales

SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, Calif., Oct. 05, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Alector, Inc. (Nasdaq: ALEC), a biotechnology company focused on developing therapies to counteract the devastating progression of neurodegeneration, today announced it has entered into an exclusive global licensing agreement with Genentech, a member of the Roche Group, granting Genentech worldwide rights to develop and commercialize Alector’s AL050 program, its brain-penetrant engineered glucocerebrosidase (GCase) ERT.

AL050 is designed to address GCase deficiency, a driver of neurodegeneration in Parkinson’s Disease that is most pronounced in – but not limited to – carriers of GBA1 mutations. It combines an Alector-engineered GCase, optimized for greater enzymatic activity and a longer half-life, with Alector’s ABC, which is designed to transport therapeutics across the blood-brain barrier. Delivered into the brain, the enzyme is intended to break down glucosylsphingosine and glucosylceramide, lipids that accumulate in neurons and other brain cells upon GCase deficiency and contribute to neurodegeneration, with the aim of reducing cellular dysfunction and slowing disease progression.

“Deficient GCase activity is increasingly recognized as a contributor to Parkinson’s Disease, and there is still no approved therapy that addresses the underlying enzyme deficiency,” said Arnon Rosenthal, Ph.D., Chief Executive Officer of Alector. “The challenge in treating GCase deficiency is twofold: engineering an enzyme with optimal activity and durability and successfully delivering it to the brain. AL050 addresses this by pairing an engineered GCase enzyme with our proprietary Alector Brain Carrier technology designed to cross the blood-brain barrier. Genentech’s long-standing commitment to Parkinson’s Disease makes them an ideal partner as this program moves toward the clinic”.

“Parkinson’s Disease is one of the fastest-growing neurological conditions worldwide,” said Boris L. Zaïtra, Head of Roche Corporate Business Development. “By partnering with companies such as Alector we aim to delay or halt the progression of Parkinson’s so patients maintain and prolong their independence.”

Under the terms of the agreement, Alector will receive an upfront payment of $100 million and is also eligible to receive additional payments of up to $1.17 billion upon the achievement of development, regulatory, and commercial milestones. Alector is also eligible for tiered royalties on net sales. Under the collaboration, Genentech will be responsible for development, regulatory, manufacturing, and commercialization across all indications.  Alector retains ownership of ABC and full rights to apply the platform across its wholly owned pipeline.

“This partnership extends our cash runway into 2029, providing resources to advance our fully active, subcutaneously delivered, brain-enabled anti-Aβ antibody to multi-cohort clinical data in Alzheimer’s patients, and move our subcutaneously delivered, brain-enabled Tau siRNA and alpha- synuclein siRNA programs through IND-enabling studies and to IND filings,” said Dr. Rosenthal.

Alector R&D Webinar on Wholly Owned Pipeline

Alector will host a scientific webinar on Tuesday, October 13th, 2026, at 8:00 a.m. PT, focused on AL137, its brain-enabled anti-Aβ antibody; AL164, its tau siRNA program; and AL062, its alpha-synuclein siRNA program. Registration and webcast information will be available on the Events and Presentations page of the Alector corporate website.

DV helps advertisers measure the impact of advertising in ChatGPT across the customer journey while developing brand risk and suitability pilots for conversational advertising

NEW YORK, Oct. 05, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — DoubleVerify (“DV”) (NYSE: DV), the leading software platform to verify media quality, optimize advertising performance and prove campaign outcomes, today announced the launch of attribution measurement for advertising on ChatGPT. Advertisers can now incorporate ChatGPT Ads as a touchpoint within the broader customer journey, helping them understand its contribution to outcomes and overall return on ad spend (ROAS).

DV and OpenAI are also developing a brand suitability evaluation pilot designed to enable independent partners to collaborate with OpenAI to assess and help inform brand suitability policies and guardrails in a controlled testing environment, without accessing private user conversations.

Understanding ChatGPT Ads’ Role in the Customer Journey

With this announcement, DV enables advertisers to measure ChatGPT Ads alongside their other marketing touchpoints, helping brands understand how the channel contributes to acquisition goals, conversions and overall campaign performance. By incorporating ChatGPT Ads into their attribution measurement, advertisers can evaluate its impact alongside other channels rather than viewing performance in isolation.

“Advertisers want to understand not just whether a new channel is performing, but the business impact it’s actually driving,” said Mark Zagorski, CEO of DV. “By bringing ChatGPT Ads into DV’s attribution measurement through DV Rockerbox™, marketers can connect engagement on ChatGPT to outcomes and return on ad spend, giving them a clearer view of its role across the customer journey.”

Early results demonstrate the value of this approach. Weight Watchers added ChatGPT Ads as a new source of member acquisition and used DV Rockerbox to independently measure its performance. ChatGPT’s attributed cost per acquisition was 15.3% below Weight Watchers’ established benchmark during the measured period, providing an early signal of the channel’s potential as the company evaluates increased investment.

“As new advertising channels emerge, we need to understand how they contribute to the broader customer journey,” said Jake Dmochowski, VP of Growth, Weight Watchers. “DV Rockerbox helped us put ChatGPT Ads performance into context alongside our existing investments, giving us an encouraging early signal and greater clarity as we evaluate how to scale.”

Advancing Brand Suitability for ChatGPT Ads

As part of this announcement, DV and OpenAI are developing a brand risk and suitability evaluation pilot designed to assess conversational context at scale, helping advertisers determine whether ad placements align with their brand suitability preferences. The goal is to give advertisers greater transparency into how those policies and guardrails work while protecting conversation privacy.

“Conversational environments are fundamentally different because context is dynamic. What a user asks, how the AI responds and how the conversation evolves can all shape the environment in which an ad appears,” added Zagorski. “That requires a new approach to brand risk and suitability. As advertising on ChatGPT scales, advertisers need confidence that their brands are appearing in suitable environments, with context evaluated while user privacy is protected.”

Together, attribution and brand suitability measurement will address two fundamental advertiser needs: understanding the business impact of their investment and gaining greater confidence in the context in which their brands appear.

DV’s brand suitability and attribution capabilities are part of the DV Media AdVantage Platform (DV MAP™), the full-spectrum media effectiveness platform that combines media verification, AI-powered optimization through DV Scibids AI™ and campaign outcomes measurement with DV Rockerbox to maximize media effectiveness and return on ad spend.
