SFL Corporation Ltd. (NYSE: SFL) (“SFL” or the “Company”) today announced that it has agreed to build two 93,000 cbm Very Large Ammonia Carriers. The vessels will be able to carry a wide range of petrochemical gases, and will have dual-fuel propulsion and the latest technology for fuel efficiency and cargo intake optimization. Delivery is scheduled from the second quarter of 2028 and the aggregate yard construction cost is expected to be approximately $216 million.

Concurrently, the Company has agreed long term time charters to an oil major, adding a minimum of approximately $162 million to its fixed rate charter backlog. The duration of the initial charter period will be determined within the next six months, and the backlog may increase at that point. The charterer will also have options to extend the time charters by up to 4 years.

Ole B. Hjertaker, CEO of SFL Management AS, said in a comment:

«The gas carrier project marks another accretive milestone investment for SFL, adding assets in a new segment. The charterer is a European based investment grade oil major, underlining SFL’s standing as a high-quality provider of maritime logistics assets. Including acquisitions and charter extensions announced so far this year, we have added more than $1.3 billion to our fixed rate charter backlog in 2026.»

These statements are based upon various assumptions, many of which are based, in turn, upon further assumptions, including SFL management’s examination of historical operating trends, data contained in the Company’s records and other data available from third parties. Although SFL believes that these assumptions were reasonable when made, because assumptions are inherently subject to significant uncertainties and contingencies which are difficult or impossible to predict and are beyond its control, SFL cannot give assurance that it will achieve or accomplish these expectations, beliefs or intentions.

Important factors that, in the Company’s view, could cause actual results to differ materially from those discussed in the forward looking statements include the strength of world economies, fluctuations in currencies and interest rates, general market conditions in the seaborne transportation industry, which is cyclical and volatile, including fluctuations in charter hire rates and vessel values, changes in demand in the markets in which the Company operates, including shifts in consumer demand from oil towards other energy sources or changes to trade patterns for refined oil products, changes in market demand in countries which import commodities and finished goods and changes in the amount and location of the production of those commodities and finished goods, technological innovation in the sectors in which we operate and quality and efficiency requirements from customers, increased inspection procedures and more restrictive import and export controls, changes in the Company’s operating expenses, including bunker prices, dry-docking and insurance costs, performance of the Company’s charterers and other counterparties with whom the Company deals, the impact of any restructuring of the counterparties with whom the Company deals, and timely delivery of vessels under construction within the contracted price, governmental laws and regulations, including environmental regulations, that add to our costs or the costs of our customers, potential liability from pending or future litigation, potential disruption of shipping routes due to accidents, political instability, terrorist attacks, piracy or international hostilities, and the impact on the demand for commercial seaborne transportation and the condition of the financial markets, and other important factors described from time to time in the reports filed by the Company with the United States Securities and Exchange Commission. Ramp Up on Track for Start of Commercial Production by End 2026

KELLOGG, Idaho, Oct. 05, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Bunker Hill Mining Corp. (“Bunker Hill” or the “Company”) (TSX: BNKR | OTCQB: BHLL) is pleased to report that having successfully completed the 14,300ft, 39-hole  underground campaign at the Cate-8 Vein, it has now started a 3,200ft surface drilling program at the recently acquired Page property in the Silver Valley, three miles away from Bunker Hill’s processing facility.

“As our operations team continue the steady ramp up to commercial production by the end of 2026, it is exciting to report that, following the positive results of their Cate-8 underground drilling campaign, the exploration team has hit, with their first drill hole, another area of highly prospective Galena-Siderite and Sphalerite mineralization near surface at our recently acquired Page property,” said Sam Ash, President and Chief Executive Officer of Bunker Hill. “This further supports the potential to be unlocked by the Bunker team in our 6,284-hectare portion of the prolific Silver Valley.”

EXPLORATION UPDATE

Bunker Hill’s current exploration program is focused on identifying targets that could expand mineral resources in a cost-effective manner, with priority given to targets near surface and near existing mine infrastructure across its recently expanded property. These targets are identified primarily by analysis of historical mining and exploration data collected over 100 years, which Bunker Hill is re-interpreting using modern methods, including the use of AI tools where appropriate. Historical data has not been fully verified by a qualified person, and there is no certainty that exploration of these targets will result in the delineation of additional mineral resources.

  • The Cate-8 Vein: the data collected from 14,300ft of drilling over 39 shallow holes and samples collected from development that cut the mineralization are being assayed, collated and processed to support inclusion within an updated resource statement expected to be issued by end of Q4 2026.

Subject to further analysis and given its proximity to existing mine development, it is expected that any Cate-8 mineral resources will be included within the 2027 mine plan to be issued within the Company’s production guidance expected to be released at the end of Q4 2026.

  • Initial Page Exploration: following up on historical surface drilling results achieved in 2025 by the previous owners of the property in the vicinity of the Page mine, the Bunker Hill exploration team has started 3,200ft (975m) of shallow drilling from 10 holes from surface. This is expected to take six weeks to complete. This site is accessed by paved and forest roads and is the same distance from the Bunker Hill processing plant as the Russell Portal in Wardner.

Based on visual assessment, the initial results from the first hole indicate 15ft of continuous Galena-Siderite and Sphalerite mineralization at a depth from surface of approximately 200ft. Visual estimates of mineralization are not a substitute for laboratory assays and should not be relied upon as an indication of grade or the extent of mineralization, which can only be determined through assay results to be completed as the Page exploration campaign progresses.

RAMP UP TO COMMERCIAL PRODUCTION

Active mining operations are being conducted within the upper area of the Bunker Hill Mine, including development being cut through the recently discovered Cate-8 vein. Ore is being transported to the operating processing plant in line with the ramp-up schedule, and the commissioning of the processing plant and ramp up of mining are progressing in line with the Company’s target of achieving commercial production by the end of 2026. Safety remains a priority, with the Company recording 553 consecutive days without a reportable incident.

During September, Bunker Hill fully commissioned the paste plant and on-boarded the fourth mining crew, enabling the start of continuous 1800 tonnes per day (“tpd”) underground mining operations. Having used low-grade stockpiles for the early phases of plant commissioning, the underground team is now feeding Run of Mine Ore into the plant at targeted head grade, from two active stopes on the 5 and 8-2 levels. Operating performance, including costs, remains in line with pre-production estimates.

To stretch the team’s performance and mirror commissioning best practice, the Company has revised its definition of commercial production, previously defined as achieving at least 65% of 1800 tpd “nameplate” throughput capacity only, to include metal recovery targets as well. From now, the operations required by end of Q4 2026 to achieve commercial production are: throughput of at least 65% of nameplate capacity, and zinc/lead/silver recovery of at least 70%, for 60 days.

2027 MINE PLANNING UPDATE

Subject to further analysis, including the results of the updated resource statement and further technical and economic evaluation, the mine planners are preparing to incorporate Cate-8 mineral resources into the 2027-2030 mine plan. The team is also investigating ways to overcome the existing single access/single egress constraint on mine haulage, which currently consists of the Russel Portal in Wardner, located 3.5 miles from the processing plant.

To that end, studies are ongoing now to evaluation the potential construction of a second 6,000ft portal, located just over a mile from the processing plant with direct access to the 10 Level to enable a more efficient ore and waste haulage system. The Company is also studying modifications to the processing plant to increase capacity to 2500tpd. In support of this, the Company recently acquired 60 acres of land adjacent to and uphill from the processing facility for potential use as a dry-stack tailings facility.

The Company currently expects to issue its production guidance for 2027 by the end of Q4 2026.

VANCOUVER, British Columbia, Oct. 05, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Zacatecas Silver Corp. (TSXV: ZAC | OTCQB: ZCTSF | FRA: 7TV) (“Zacatecas Silver” or the “Company”) is pleased to announce that it has entered into an option agreement (the “Agreement”) with Guanajuato Silver Company Ltd. (TSXV: GSVR) (“Guanajuato Silver”) and its subsidiary Mina Bolanitos, S.A. de C.V. (“Mina Bolanitos”), under which the Company may acquire a 100% interest in the Lourdes gold-silver project (“Lourdes” or the “Project”) in Guanajuato State, Mexico. Lourdes is a low sulphidation epithermal vein system in a historical mining district that has seen only seven shallow drill holes.

Highlights

  • Low sulphidation epithermal gold-silver vein system in a historical mining district, with at least six mapped vein structures across three concessions totalling 509 hectares.
  • The El Tigre vein, the principal target, has been mapped over approximately 770 metres of strike at surface with widths of 0.35 to 6.0 metres. A silicified footwall stockwork zone measures approximately 400 metres long and 15 to 30 metres wide.
  • The only drilling on the Project consists of seven shallow core holes totalling 1,424 metres completed in 2003–2004, which had poor core recovery in the vein zones. Previous operators interpreted the system as exposed at a high epithermal level, with the deeper portions of the veins untested.
  • Total consideration of US$825,000 over two years, comprising US$225,000 in cash and US$600,000 in common shares, with no minimum exploration expenditure commitments.
  • The Project is located approximately 40 km northeast of Guanajuato City, with access by highway and dirt road.

Project Overview

Lourdes is located near the community of Buenavista del Cubo in the municipality of San Felipe, Guanajuato, approximately 18 km southeast of the town of San Felipe, within the El Cubo mineralized district of the Sierra del Cubo. The Project comprises three mining concessions totalling 509 hectares (Table 1).

Table 1: Lourdes Project Mining Concessions

Geology and Historical Work

Lourdes hosts a low sulphidation epithermal vein system in Tertiary rhyolites. The veins strike northwest-southeast and dip steeply to the southwest. The principal mapped structures are the El Tigre, El PP, La Ordeñita, La Blanca, Tigre del Alto and El Lince veins. Vein textures include chalcedonic, banded, bladed and brecciated quartz, which previous operators interpreted as indicating a high level in the epithermal system.

Small-scale underground mining took place in the district between approximately 1906 and 1923. Several historical shafts remain on the Project and are currently flooded or inaccessible.

In 2003 and 2004, Minera Hochschild drilled seven core holes totalling 1,424 metres, testing the El Tigre, Tigre del Alto, El PP, La Ordeñita and Minas Viejas veins to approximately 100 to 150 metres below surface. Results were low grade, with the best intercept returning 0.7 g/t gold and 82 g/t silver over 0.4 metres core length in the El Tigre vein. Core recovery in the vein zones was reported to be below 50%. A subsequent review of the core by Endeavour Silver Corp. (“Endeavour”), who previously held the concessions, concluded that the El Tigre holes did not intersect the footwall stockwork zone.

Between 2012 and 2013, Endeavour completed geological mapping over 157.5 hectares, including detailed mapping of the El Tigre and El PP structures, collected 1,093 rock chip samples, and completed trenching along the El Tigre, El Lince, El PP and La Ordeñita veins. Rock chip results ranged from below detection to 39.9 g/t gold and from below detection to 378 g/t silver. Samples from the El Tigre footwall stockwork returned 0.015 to 3.91 g/t gold. Endeavour recommended a first-phase drill program on the El Tigre vein targeting depths below the historical drilling.

Rock chip samples are selective by nature and may not be representative of the grade of the mineralization. The historical drill and sample results described above were generated by previous operators, have not been verified by the Company, and should not be relied upon.

Planned Work

The Company plans to compile and review all historical data, including drill core and assay records where available, carry out confirmation sampling of the El Tigre vein and footwall stockwork, and refine drill targets to test the veins below the depth of the historical drilling.

CEO Quote

“With Lourdes, our strategy is taking shape,” said Eric Vanderleeuw, Chief Executive Officer and Director. “We’re building a pipeline of near-term drill targets – Oso Negro, Cumaro and now Lourdes – where a single discovery could change the scale of this Company. Lourdes has the ingredients we look for: historical mining, a mapped vein system with grade at surface, and almost no meaningful drilling. Behind all of it we have two mineral resources, at Panuco and Esperanza. That’s what separates us from other explorers our size: a resource base that holds value, and a pipeline built to generate steady news and real discovery potential. Seeing this strategy come together is exciting, and we’re just getting started. We’re moving quickly, executing on every front, and staying focused on what creates value in this business: getting the drill bit on good targets.”

Terms of the Agreement

To exercise the option and acquire a 100% interest in Lourdes, the Company must pay Mina Bolanitos a total of US$225,000 in cash and issue to Guanajuato Silver (or its nominee) US$600,000 in common shares of the Company (the “Consideration Shares”) as follows (Table 2):

Date Cash Consideration Shares
TSX Venture Exchange approval US$75,000 US$200,000
First anniversary US$75,000 US$200,000
Second anniversary US$75,000 US$200,000
Total US$225,000 US$600,000

Table 2: Option Payment Schedule

The Consideration Shares issuable on TSX Venture Exchange approval will be issued at the Market Price, as defined in the policies of the TSX Venture Exchange. The Consideration Shares issuable on the first and second anniversaries (the “Deferred Shares”) will be issued at a price equal to the greater of (i) the Market Price on the date of announcement of the transaction, less the maximum discount permitted by the TSX Venture Exchange, and (ii) the 10-day volume weighted average price (“VWAP”) immediately prior to issuance, with any resulting shortfall in value between the VWAP and the Market Price payable in cash. All Consideration Shares will be subject to a statutory hold period of four months and one day from the date of issuance. The Company may accelerate the option payments at its discretion.

During the option period, the Company will be the operator of the Project and will be responsible for all costs of maintaining the concessions in good standing.

On exercise of the option, the Company will grant Mina Bolanitos a 2.0% net smelter return (“NSR”) royalty, of which 1.0% may be purchased by the Company for US$1,000,000 at any time prior to the commencement of production. The Project is also subject to an existing 3.0% NSR royalty, of which 2.0% may be purchased for US$2,000,000.

The Agreement is subject to the acceptance of the TSX Venture Exchange. No finder’s fees are payable in connection with the transaction. The transaction is an arm’s length transaction.

Historical Data

About Zacatecas Silver Corp.

Zacatecas Silver is a multi-asset precious metals exploration company with a portfolio of six projects across Mexico, spanning Zacatecas, Sonora, Morelos, and Oaxaca, and has entered into an option to acquire the Lourdes project in Guanajuato.

The Zacatecas Silver Project is located in Zacatecas State, within the highly prospective Fresnillo silver belt, which has produced over 6.2 billion ounces of silver. The Company holds 7,826 hectares of ground prospective for low-sulphidation and intermediate-sulphidation silver-base metal mineralization. A Mineral Resource Estimate at the Panuco deposit comprises 3.41 million tonnes at 187 g/t AgEq for 20.5 million ounces AgEq (see news release dated May 31, 2023). The property is 25 km southeast of MAG Silver’s Juanicipio Mine and Fresnillo PLC’s Fresnillo Mine, and shares boundaries with Defiance Silver and Endeavour Silver.

Esperanza is an advanced stage, attractive low-cost, low-capital-intensity and low-technical-risk growth project located in Morelos state, Mexico. The Company announced a Mineral Resource Estimate at Esperanza consisting of a Measured and Indicated Mineral Resource Estimate of 45.4 million tonnes at 0.79 g/t AuEq (0.76 g/t gold and 8.5 g/t silver) for 1.15 million ounces AuEq (1.11 million ounces gold and 12.37 million ounces silver) and an Inferred Mineral Resource Estimate of 11.2 million tonnes at 0.57 g/t AuEq (0.53 g/t gold and 11.2 g/t silver) for 208 thousand ounces AuEq (190 thousand ounces gold and 4.02 million ounces silver) (see news release dated June 22, 2026).

The Company also holds four exploration properties in Sonora and Oaxaca. Oso Negro (Sonora) is an undrilled, high-grade low sulphidation epithermal system with multiple veins mapped over more than 3 km of strike length. Cumaro (Sonora) is situated along trend from Coeur Mining’s El Picacho development and hosts extensions of proven low sulphidation vein systems with high-grade channel sampling results. La Lola (Sonora) is a large, underexplored 1,183-hectare property anchored by the La Barra vein, a 5 km structure reaching up to 40 m in width. Ejutla (Oaxaca) comprises 10,603 hectares in the Taviche-Miahuatlán region near the former Fortuna Silver San José Mine, hosting multiple vein systems and alteration zones anomalous in gold, silver, and Carlin-style pathfinder elements. The Company has also entered into an option to acquire a 100% interest in Lourdes (Guanajuato), a 509-hectare low sulphidation epithermal gold-silver vein system with limited historical drilling.

  • €250,000 (approx. C$400,000) non-repayable grant
  • Strong endorsement of economic potential and strategic importance of Escacena Project

VANCOUVER, British Columbia, Oct. 05, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Pan Global Resources Inc. (“Pan Global” or the “Company”) (TSX-V: PGZ; OTCQB: PGZFF; FRA: 2EU) is pleased to announce that its wholly-owned Spanish subsidiary, Minera Sabina SLU, has been awarded a non-repayable grant of €250,000 (approx. C$400,000) from the General Directorate for Energy Policy and Mining, within the Spanish Ministry for Ecological Transition and the Demographic Challenge. The funding will be used to accelerate exploration within the Company’s 100%-owned Escacena Project (“Escacena”) in the Iberian Pyrite Belt in southern Spain.

Highlights:

  • Non-Dilutive Funding: The €250,000 provides immediate, non-dilutive capital directly allocated to ground exploration at the Escacena Project
  • Validation: The grant selection underlines the economic potential and strategic importance of the Escacena Project to the regional economy
  • Targeted Work: Funding will specifically support upcoming work, including cartography, soil sampling, geophysical surveys and diamond drilling, scheduled to begin immediately

“We are grateful to the General Directorate for Energy Policy and Mining for their strong endorsement and financial support. The grant initiative, along with other programs, highlights a strong commitment to the mining sector in Spain to secure critical metals for future economic growth,” said Tim Moody, President and CEO of Pan Global Resources. “This investment allows us to accelerate our exploration timeline at Escacena and progress our core targets without dilution to our shareholders.”

The award to Pan Global highlights Spain’s longstanding commitment to the exploration industry which is vital to expanding its critical mineral endowment through new discoveries. The 14,753-hectare Escacena Project is Pan Global’s flagship asset. To date, two deposits have been discovered at Escacena North and the highly prospective Escacena South property hosts more than a dozen geophysical targets for investigation. Testing of the highest priority targets at Escacena South will commence as soon as the required permits are received.

Current Exploration Activities

Drilling is currently underway to expand the Cañada Honda mineral resource at Escacena North. Geophysics, geochemical sampling, and geological programs are also continuing across Escacena North to identify additional drill targets. Results for the first of the drillholes from this year’s program at Cañada Honda will be announced when available.

A helicopter electromagnetic and magnetic survey has recently been completed at the highly prospective Escacena South property. Advanced interpretation of the survey results is aiding drill target definition. Results of the survey will be released as soon as interpretation is completed.

A drill rig is also currently operating at the Company’s Cármenes Project in northern Spain, testing the Providencia target.
