Schneider Electric launches new Motivair coolant distribution unit integrating liquid and air cooling for more flexible data center deployments

Schneider Electric launches new Motivair coolant distribution unit integrating liquid and air cooling for more flexible data center deployments
Schneider Electric launches new Motivair coolant distribution unit integrating liquid and air cooling for more flexible data center deployments
  • New coolant distribution unit, the WCDU, is designed for a wide-range of configurations and optimized to meet the need for high-capacity technical corridor-based cooling architectures
  • Seamless integration with air cooling configurations and multiple installation options give operators greater flexibility
  • Single WCDU provides cooling capacity up to 3.5MW, with an accessible design for simplified high-density deployment in space-constrained environments
  • Supports approach temperature differences as low as 2 °C to improve PUE and reduce OpEx for the entire cooling system

RUEIL-MALMAISON, France, Sept. 23, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Schneider Electric, a global energy technology leader, today launched its WCDU, a coolant distribution unit suitable for a wide range of configurations and is designed for seamless integration with fan wall air-cooling systems to support hybrid air and liquid cooling architectures in high-density AI data centers. Designed for greater deployment flexibility, the unit allows operators to adjust the balance of liquid and air cooling without fully redesigning the data hall. This approach allows for versatility as workloads are finalized to avoid overbuilt infrastructure and stranded capacity.

The new WCDU reflects the evolution of liquid cooling and matches changing infrastructure deployments for the AI era. Large data centers operators are increasingly deploying CDUs outside of the white space in the technical corridor for easier service and maintenance. The WCDU is optimized for the technical corridor and equipped with top entry connections to reduce installation complexity and keep the white space clear, which simplifies installation and service access.

“As the only CDU that brings together both liquid and air cooling within a single solution, we’re delivering a level of flexibility the market hasn’t seen before,” said Andrew Bradner, Senior Vice President of the Cooling Business at Schneider Electric. “This approach allows operators to deploy more efficiently, support a wider range of liquid cooling infrastructure configurations, and significantly reduce time to deployment.”

The new addition complements, expands and strengthens the Motivair by Schneider Electric line of liquid cooling solutions, which includes a range of CDUs to match a broad range of row-based, corridor-based and other deployment architectures.

Additional Key Benefits of the WCDU

The WCDU’s all-in-one design, which incorporates Integrated pumps, heat exchangers and other critical CDU components into a single steel frame, simplifies deployment and provides multiple installation options through a scalable, multi-modal architecture. In addition to integrating with fan walls, the WCDU can be used as a standalone unit. As a result, operators currently using fan walls for their cooling infrastructure gain an easier path to retrofitting their facilities. The unit also maintains zero lateral clearance, enabling optimized density in existing and new data hall layouts. The WCDU also supports:

  • Increased Density: The WCDU offers the single largest cooling capacity in the Motivair by Schneider Electric CDU line. A single WCDU is able to achieve capacity up to 3.5 MW at 1.5 liters per minute per kW, and 2.5 MW at 2.0 liters per minute per kW. Up to 20 WCDU units can operate together in group mode as a coordinated system, offering the scale needed to support today’s 30-40MW data halls.
  • Improved efficiency: Supports warmer facility water system temperatures and approach temperature as low as 2°C. These operating conditions help improve PUE and improve the energy efficiency of the entire cooling infrastructure, which contributes to lower overall operating costs. The system incorporates hot swappable pumps, PICVs, and 25 micron filters, as well as a 15 inch touchscreen HMI to support resiliency.
  • Supports resiliency: As an additional resilience option, for deployments up to 2.5 MW, the WCDU can be specified with N+1 redundancy, providing pump and valve backup to help maintain cooling availability during maintenance or an unexpected component outage.

With the addition of the WCDU, Schneider Electric’s end-to-end liquid cooling portfolio now offers CDUs ranging from 105kW to 3.5MW, meeting current and future performance requirements.

The WCDU will begin shipping in select regions in October 2026 and will be available for pre-order in the U.S. beginning in early 2027. For more information, visit Schneider Electric’s website.

Approximately $507,000 invested to reactivate Panuco operations; additional capital deployment planned as NEXT10 targets increased gold production through mid-2027

GREEN VALLEY, Ariz., Sept. 23, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — NEXT10, Inc. (OTC: NXTN) (“NEXT10” or the “Company”), through Torreon Group, Inc., today announced that it activated its first mining operation in Mexico and commenced gold production at the Panuco gold mining operation effective August 1, 2026.

Earlier this year, NEXT10 invested approximately $507,000 in equipment, infrastructure and operating improvements to reactivate the Panuco operation. The Company currently expects to deploy approximately an additional $240,000 in the coming weeks as part of the next phase of production expansion.

Gold production began August 1 and is currently operating at approximately 20 ounces per month. As additional equipment, infrastructure and processing capacity are installed, management is targeting production of approximately 320 ounces of gold per month by mid-2027.

The operation is currently generating revenue, which the Company expects to begin reflecting in its reported financial results over the coming quarters.

The milestone represents an important transition for NEXT10 as the Company moves from acquiring and developing hard-asset opportunities into the activation, operation and expansion of revenue-producing assets.

“This is where strategy becomes an operating business,” said John B. Hayden, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of NEXT10, Inc. “Earlier this year, we committed approximately $507,000 to put this operation back to work. Gold production began August 1, the operation is now generating revenue, and we are continuing to invest behind the asset as we expand its productive capacity.”

Hayden continued, “After more than four decades in business, I have learned that sustainable growth is built in stages. You deploy capital, establish operations, prove the process and then invest further where the results support it. We are currently producing approximately 20 ounces of gold per month. With the equipment, infrastructure and additional capital we plan to deploy, our objective is to build toward approximately 320 ounces per month by mid-2027. That disciplined approach to capital deployment is one we intend to apply across the NEXT10 portfolio.”

The Company expects to continue investing in processing equipment, infrastructure and operating capacity over the coming months. These investments are intended to increase throughput, improve recovery capabilities and support the planned production ramp.

The approximately 320-ounce-per-month production objective is a management target and should not be interpreted as a guarantee of future production. Actual results may vary materially depending on equipment installation and commissioning, mine conditions, processing performance, recovery rates, available capital, commodity prices, operating costs and other operational and market factors.

NEXT10 intends to provide additional operating and financial updates as material milestones are achieved.

About NEXT10, Inc.

NEXT10, Inc. (OTC: NXTN), through Torreon Group, Inc. and its affiliated businesses, is focused on acquiring, developing and operating businesses and assets with an emphasis on opportunities backed by real estate and other hard assets.

The Company’s strategy is to identify assets where additional capitalization, operating discipline and active management may improve operations, generate cash flow and create long-term enterprise value.

HANGZHOU, China, Sept. 23, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — On September 22, CaoCao Inc. (“CaoCao” or the “Company”) announced a partnership with Qwen AI Glasses at the 2026 Apsara Conference. The two parties will jointly launch an AI ride-hailing service featuring hands-free, near-eye interaction. Following integrations with Doubao Mobile Assistant, HONOR YOYO and OPPO Breeno, CaoCao is further expanding its on-device AI hardware service ecosystem, extending its ride-hailing services to smart wearable devices.

The partnership creates a complete closed loop of “device sensing + model understanding + service fulfillment”: Qwen AI Glasses sense user needs and provide trip-related prompts, the Qwen foundation model breaks down and matches those needs, and CaoCao ultimately fulfills the mobility service in the physical world.

To use the ride-hailing service, users simply put on Qwen AI Glasses and state their destination. The system can then automatically identify the pickup and drop-off locations, select the best route and get an estimate. During the trip, users can modify their destination or confirm the vehicle type for pickup at any time using voice commands. If they need to communicate with the driver, they can also initiate voice contact directly through the glasses. Key information, including the pickup vehicle and trip progress, is displayed as visual cards in the user’s field of view, keeping users informed throughout the journey.

On the technical side, the partnership adopts a two-layer architecture that combines MCP and Skill. CaoCao’s MCP Server is registered as a plugin on the Qwen Open Platform, exposing its full suite of mobility service capabilities to the platform. Interaction logic is handled by a Qwen AI Glasses Skill, which can flexibly orchestrate service calls, voice output and on-screen presentation for different use cases. This two-layer design allows CaoCao to focus on updating its mobility service capabilities, while the Qwen Open Platform can independently optimize the interaction experience. Each side can iterate independently, delivering a smoother user experience.

SINGAPORE and NEW YORK, Sept. 23, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — PT Garuda Maintenance Facility Aero Asia Tbk (GMF), part of Garuda Indonesia Group, and FTAI Aviation Ltd. (Nasdaq: FTAI) have strengthened their strategic collaboration to build a long-term partnership focused on expanding GMF’s Engine and APU maintenance capacity and capabilities, while strengthening its market presence across Asia-Pacific. The collaboration will initially cover CFM56-5B and CFM56-7B engines and GTCP131-9 series APUs, with guaranteed capacity for FTAI over the next five years. The strategic collaboration was formalized during MRO Asia-Pacific 2026 at Singapore EXPO, Singapore.

Building on an existing relationship in which GMF provides engine maintenance services for FTAI, the strategic partnership provides a foundation to progressively expand into deeper module and piece-part capabilities and next-generation engines, including CFM LEAP.

Andi Fahrurrozi, GMF CEO, stated, “This collaboration responds to growing engine maintenance demand from FTAI, its customers, and the broader aviation market across the region by leveraging GMF’s existing MRO capabilities and capacity. Supported by the technical expertise of both parties, this collaboration will enable us to broaden our customer base across Asia-Pacific and globally, while progressively strengthening our capabilities and capacity to meet evolving market needs.”

“GMF has been a trusted engine maintenance partner to FTAI and this collaboration builds on that relationship with dedicated capacity for our customers across the Asia-Pacific,” said David Moreno, President of FTAI. “The region is home to a large and growing share of our customer base. Bringing committed engine volumes to GMF puts maintenance capacity closer to those customers with faster turnaround times. Backed by an established facility, a skilled workforce and FTAI’s technical support, GMF is well positioned to expand into module and piece-part repair and help extend the life of the CFM56 engine.”

With its existing facility, qualified technicians and engineers, quality systems, tools, and equipment, GMF provides an established MRO platform for the partnership. FTAI’s technical expertise and training support will reinforce GMF’s technical capabilities and manpower development. At the same time, the additional workload generated by FTAI and its customers will create further opportunities to accelerate the expansion of the engine maintenance business.

The collaboration is also expected to strengthen the engine MRO supply chain by improving access to materials, spare parts, and components, while creating opportunities to enhance availability and cost.

Looking ahead, the strategic collaboration opens opportunities for GMF to serve as a key regional MRO partner for FTAI and its customers across the Asia-Pacific, with a shared long-term vision to build a competitive and sustainable engine maintenance business

“This collaboration is designed to address customer needs for maintenance slot availability, improved turnaround times, consistent quality, and flexibility. We aim to deliver more competitive MRO solutions for customers across the region. Together with FTAI, we also look forward to exploring broader strategic collaboration opportunities beyond our existing business,” Andi concluded.

Dear Shareholders and Investors,

I am very pleased to inform you that the market conditions for our vessels continue to be exceptionally solid. We expect this development to continue.

We have previously informed you about the high freight rates that we enjoy.

This unprecedented development continues. The closing or opening of the Strait of Hormuz does not impact the NAT operations in any way. The essential measure for NAT, is ton-mile, i.e., transportation work. The NAT ships are needed.

Lower and decreasing price of oil, is an advantage for NAT. The lower the price, the better.

The main question is the safe transportation of oil, and the demand for our ships is critical. How much oil do NAT carry and over how long distances?

NAT has a strong relationship with the largest oil companies in the world. This is  essential for our success. They have confidence in us, our crews and in the quality of our vessels.
