TAIZHOU, China, Oct. 23, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — On October 13, 2026, Lutian Machinery Co., Ltd. (605259.SH) hosted the 2026 Lutian Global Energy Partner Conference in Taizhou, Zhejiang. More than 200 key distributors and partners from all over the world gathered for this event. The conference arranged production base visits, in-depth thematic forums, the official launch of comprehensive solar-plus-storage solutions for multiple application scenarios, as well as on-site strategic partnership signing ceremonies.
All visiting partners toured Lutian’s Taizhou production base, including the product showroom, smart energy center and energy-storage manufacturing workshop, to gain first-hand insight into its complete industrial system covering general-power manufacturing, photovoltaic and energy-storage businesses. Lutian has built four major R&D centers in Taizhou, Shanghai, Chongqing and Suzhou. It also owns a CNAS-accredited national laboratory and a joint laboratory with TUV, holding more than 300 proprietary intellectual property rights.
Four core product categories were unveiled: energy-storage inverters, energy-storage batteries, integrated PV-storage systems, and commercial & industrial energy-storage systems. Covering 500 W-250 kW power range and 1 kWh-5 MWh energy capacity, these modular and plug-and-play products fit home storage, outdoor operations, emergency backup power and small-size commercial-industrial usage. The company holds core patents on inverters, BMS and EMS, leverages AI to optimize energy dispatch, and researches cutting-edge technologies such as AIDC intelligent computing center power supply and SST solid-state transformers.
Lutian observes strong household energy-storage demand in high-electricity-price Europe and North America. Regions with weak power infrastructure in Africa and Southeast Asia also show solid demand for off-grid and emergency backup power. In 2025, its energy-storage business revenue rose 347.93% year-on-year, marking fast development of its second growth curve.
Putting overseas markets as top priority, Lutian rolled out its upgraded global service network with digital, localized, standardized and normalized service frameworks. It signed strategic cooperation deals with key clients on-site to jointly expand markets, develop distribution channels and promote products globally.
Founded in 2002 and listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange main board in 2021 (stock code: 605259), Lutian focuses on general-purpose power machinery, high-pressure washers and new-energy storage products. Its goods are exported to over 100 countries and regions, and the company is building a complete “power generation-energy storage-energy consumption” energy ecosystem.

Möhlmann of East47 at Conrad Singapore Orchard combined technical mastery and creative flair with the warm, intuitive hospitality that defines a truly world class bartender.
Originally from the Netherlands, she found bartending on a gap year in Asia and trained in Amsterdam’s bars. She then joined the opening team of Ryan Chetiyawardana’s Super Lyan, rising to Head Bartender. She spent months refining every serve in preparation for the Global Finals, dedication that paid off last night in Edinburgh.
Alongside the title, Zana will represent Diageo and its brands in a year-long opportunity to showcase her bartending skills around the world and, for the first time, this year’s Global Bartender of the Year will partner with Diageo to create a ready-to-drink cocktail that will launch in multiple markets next year. The title also includes an all-expenses trip to the 2027 World Class Global Final.
A 16-strong international judging panel of well-known leading figures from the global bar industry, including Ago Perrone of London’s Connaught Bar, Monica Berg of Tayēr + Elementary, and Lorenzo Antinori of Hong Kong’s Bar Leone (recently named The World’s Best Bar at The 50 Best Bars 2026, for the second consecutive year) judged competitors across a series of live brand challenges (challenges listed in notes to editors, below).
Speaking on behalf of the judging panel, Ago Perrone said:
“My fellow judges and I have been impressed by the dedication and the efforts that have gone into each creation this year. It’s always so inspiring to watch the next generation at work, even more so Zana. Zana won us over thanks to the imagination, commitment and real heart she put into the challenges showing the warmth of a true host. And that’s what really makes a World Class bartender.”
The World Class programme showcases Diageo’s commitment to a vibrant hospitality sector, the on-trade and its customers, while creating a space to share insights on the latest drinking trends. Since 2009, the programme has celebrated and nurtured the careers of over 500,000 bartenders.
Kevin Delaney, Global Head of World Class, said:
“World Class is the ultimate toast to the beating heart of the hospitality industry: rockstar bartenders pushing the boundaries of their creativity and skill through competition – hosting tirelessly, serving responsibly and setting the trends we’ll all experience in the future. It’s a program dedicated to the trade – because when bartenders flourish, the experience is enhanced for everyone. We are delighted to welcome Zana into the Diageo World Class Hall of Fame.”
This year, the Global Finals were marked with Scotland Served, a World Class Festival transforming more than 400 venues across the country into destinations for exploration into Scotch Whisky, showcasing a new generation of Scotch cocktails from Johnnie Walker and The Singleton.
Celebrating both the World Class win and her 29th birthday on the same night, Zana Möhlmann World Class Global Bartender of the Year 2026, said:
“It’s unbelievable. I don’t think I know how to feel yet. I’d let myself imagine this moment a little, but I was almost scared to, and there were moments I didn’t think I would win. I’ve never been so happy, or so surprised.”
With the Global Finals on Scottish soil, the judging panel also included Scottish talent, including Iain McPherson of Edinburgh’s award-winning Panda & Sons; Andy Gemmell, owner of The Gate pub in Glasgow; and Kaitlin Wilkes, co-founder of The Ada Coleman Project.
The bartender challenges included:
‘Community Spirit’, Ketel One Vodka high-stakes relay of precision and speed
‘The Slow Train’, an intimate cocktail and food pairing featuring The Singleton Whisky aboard a private train to the brand’s Glen Ord Distillery
‘Under Pressure’, reimagining Don Julio Tequila as a ready-to-drink, carbonated serve with original label artwork
‘Iconology’, a head-turning Tanqueray No. TEN Gin cocktail built to command a room
‘Fast Forward’, a three-drink Johnnie Walker Black Label mixtape flight, each cocktail paired with a music track from [HIS/HER/THEIR] bartending journey.

The BEV and REEV variants of the V25, alongside the V27, took to the track together to tackle seven road scenarios: Crescent Highway, U-shaped bends, S-bends, small camel humps, wave roads, bumpy roads and muddy shell craters.
Powered by the Golden REEV system and i-AWD, the models delivered excellent performance that impressed more than 100 test drivers.
User surveys ran alongside the test drive, with feedback fed directly back to the R&D team so that “Classic Never Fades” can keep evolving.
WUHU, China, Oct. 22, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Chery Group’s iCAUR V Family Multi-Scenario Test-Drive Camp opened on October 21 at Tuju Longshan Campground in Wuhu, China. As one of the most interactive activities of the 2026 iCAUR International User Summit, the event carried the theme “Make It Real”. It brought the new iCAUR V25 and V27 into authentic off-road settings for a full evaluation of the vehicles’ overall performance in power, all-terrain capability, ride comfort and smart features. Running over two days, the camp welcomed more than 160 dealers, media representatives, KOCs and KOLs from around the world. They got behind the wheel and completed multi-terrain runs across the seven test sections. Both BEV (Battery Electric Vehicle) and REEV versions of the V25 were evaluated side-by-side, while the V27 also faced the full range of road challenges with its Golden REEV system and i-AWD (intelligent All-wheel Drive).
[iCAUR V Family Gathering at the Multi-Scenario Test-Drive Camp]
The site was laid out as a continuous exploration route. The Crescent Highway stretch, U-shaped bends, S-bends, small camel humps, wave sections, bumpy stretches and muddy shell craters each replicate road surfaces drivers encounter day-to-day, letting participants experience a wide array of driving scenarios in an immersive half-day session.
U-shaped and S-bends test steering precision and vehicle posture; how well the suspension holds up through successive direction changes shapes drivers’ confidence for everyday travel. Wave and bumpy roads transfer fine vibrations from unpaved ground straight into the cabin, and damping performance is clearly perceptible even from the second row. The most demanding obstacles are the small camel humps and muddy shell craters. When a single wheel loses traction, timely power delivery and wheel grip determine whether the vehicle can free itself. The test course covers the most critical road conditions for daily driving and off-road travel. After one lap, users gain a genuine sense of each vehicle’s real-world capability in handling, comfort and self-recovery.
V25 and V27 Take the Stage, Showcasing All-Scenario Capability
As core members of the iCAUR V family, the iCAUR V25 is positioned as an All-way SUV (Sport Utility Vehicle) that carries forward the future-classic design language, while the V27 is an all-round hybrid SUV built to balance urban commuting and outdoor adventure. The two models appeared together at the test drive venue, giving global visitors an intuitive look at iCAUR’s product strengths.
Both the V25 REEV and V27 feature range-extended powertrains. This setup supports electric driving in cities and petrol-powered long-distance travel alike, easing charging hassles and range anxiety. The Golden REEV system reaches 44.5% thermal efficiency, with a peak combined output of 335 kW and peak combined torque of 505 N·m, laying a solid foundation for power delivery on complex terrain.
[iCAUR V25 passing through a muddy, bumpy section]
A key highlight of the V25 during testing lies in its contrast. Its nearly 1:1 height-to-width ratio and circular headlamps mark it out as a rugged boxy SUV, yet its tuning leans toward supple response on wave and bumpy roads. The suspension smoothly filters out minor vibrations with minimal body roll, earning on-site praise for its cabin comfort.
[iCAUR V27 passing through a small camel hump section]
On the day’s toughest muddy stretches and shell crater obstacles, the V27, equipped with the Golden REEV powertrain and i-AWD, maintained steady power delivery on slopes and in mud and won wide approval from test drivers. Its 600 mm wading depth, 24° approach angle and 23° departure angle also let it negotiate camel humps and shell craters effortlessly, delivering stability beyond expectations.
When it comes to safety, both the V25 and V27 adopt high-strength cage-style body structures. Throughout the test drive, they exhibited strong body rigidity and stability on highway-style sections and emergency lane-change drills. “Classic Never Fades” — iCAUR’s definition of classic applies not only to design, but also to its long-standing commitment to quality and reliability.
Beyond a Test Drive: First-Hand User Experience Fuels Next-Generation Product Development
This test-drive camp brought together a diverse group of attendees: dealers and general distributors from global markets, media practitioners, KOCs, KOLs and brand partners. Users from different regions with varied driving styles sampled the V25 and V27 at the same venue. Parallel to the driving sessions, iCAUR ran in-depth user surveys to collect feedback covering power, handling, comfort, off-road capability and intelligent functions.
[Group photo of test drive guests on site]
This authentic user input will be systematically compiled, sorted and sent directly to the R&D team to inform product iterations. This goes hand in hand with iCAUR’s philosophy “Classic Never Fades”: the power to define a classic comes not just from design teams, but from every real-world user.
Within the wider summit agenda, the purpose of this test drive is equally clear. The reveal of three officially customized vehicles and the showcase of 20 custom builds brought global users’ creative visions to life. Centered on bringing timeless design and classic lifestyles onto the brand’s main stage, the iCAUR Eco-Exhibition features immersive intelligent interactions from ecosystem partner AIMOGA, painting a clear vision of future living. Meanwhile, the test-drive camp extended product value into actual driving, embodying the spirit of “Make It Real”. Vehicle showcases, co-creation activities and hands-on experiences together form a complete experience chain.
From the perspective of the brand’s development journey, the impact of this test drive stretches far beyond the two-day event. Since launch, iCAUR has entered more than 40 countries and territories worldwide. The V23 has exceeded 100,000 units in cumulative global sales, and the V series has claimed the Red Dot Award: Design Concept from Germany plus the Best Interior Design Award in the Premium Car Category at the 2026 TADA (Torino Automotive Design Award). The brand is shifting from rapid market entry to scaled growth while scaling hinges on proven product performance validated across diverse markets and road environments.
“Future Classic Design” has never been merely a styling slogan. A classic is more than a showroom descriptor only when a vehicle can emerge from mud and carry occupants safely over undulating wave roads. The feedback gathered from over 160 participants will be shared with R&D and serve as the starting point for iCAUR’s next phase of development.

With its boxy silhouette, balanced proportions and modern detailing, it turns iCAUR’s brand philosophy “Classic Never Fades” into a tangible automotive statement.
[V25 Makes Its Debut at the Global Brand Launch]
Future Classic: Design Built to Stand the Test of Time
During the launch, concerning what a car is really for, iCAUR opened with a fundamental question:: ”What makes a vehicle beloved not just today, but ten years down the line?” In response to this question, iCAUR distills clean lines, distinct personality and recognizability from classic designs, and then elevates these traits into the future through new technologies, new energy solutions and fresh possibilities.
Future-Classic Design: Defining Presence Through Proportion, Preserving Identity Through Details
This design philosophy is first embodied in the V25’s proportions and silhouette. Its height-to-width ratio stands at 0.96, close to 1:1. Combined with a sharp front fascia and upright windshield, it delivers a solid, square visual presence. A continuous crisp waistline lengthens the side profile, while flared wheel arches reinforce its robust stance; the 21-inch wheel option amplifies this substantial look. The V25 retains its boxy form, near 1:1 proportion and classic round headlamps, stripping away superfluous lines and flourishes for restrained, powerful styling.
[Front Side View of the V25]
Within this overall shape, the circular headlamps uphold the family identity and perfectly exemplify the fusion of classic appeal and modern tech. The V25 is fitted with circular LED (Light Emitting Diode) light clusters that cast well-defined light signatures when activated, complemented by a layered grille and front bumper. Onlookers can spot its square front end and round lamps from afar, while closer inspection of the light clusters reveals modern refinement beneath its familiar classic form.
[V25 Headlamps]
This design logic carries through to the rear as well. The side-hinged tailgate echoes hallmarks of classic SUVs, the wide rear bumper aligns with the boxy body, and a block-shaped high-mounted stop lamp adds another layer of signature detail. From front fascia to tailgate, silhouette, proportion and lighting work in tandem to form a cohesive design language, anchoring its unique character in balanced, integrated styling.
Capability and Freedom: Bringing Classic Design into Real Life with an Exploratory Stance
The exploratory stance of its boxy form is underpinned by real-world mobility capacity. The V25 offers both extended-range and battery-electric powertrain options, letting users select based on their daily commuting and long-distance travel requirements. The four-wheel-drive variant features the i-AWD (intelligent All-wheel Drive) system, which adjusts power distribution to match road conditions and supports both urban driving and off-road exploration. Classic design thereby converges with new-energy technology, translating the positioning of this all-way SUV into a concrete mobility experience.
Classic design must stay connected to users’ lives over time. iCAUR frames another promise of the V25 around the idea of “freedom”: the vehicle is built to remain open, flexible and customizable, putting users in charge of their own lifestyle. The V25 comes with more than 20 reserved ecosystem interfaces. Together with official personalized aftermarket parts, it supports add-ons such as camping gear and outdoor living setups. Rooted in a strong foundational design, the vehicle can transform to match owners’ interests and use cases.
[Outdoor Ecosystem of V25]
From its classic silhouette and tech-forward details to its open, expandable ecosystem, the V25 makes future-classic design about both appearance and lived experience. Alongside the V23 and V27, the V-Series family shares the same core values of classic design, versatile capability and self-expression, each with its own distinct personality. “Classic Never Fades” therefore shines through not only in timeless styling, but also in long-term ownership and enduring companionship with users.

SHANGHAI, China, Oct. 22, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — FREELANDER has completed the first test drive of the international variant of FREELANDER 8 at the 2026 Chery International User Summit in Wuhu. From 19 to 21 October, international media, content creators and dealer partners experienced FREELANDER 8 on and off road, across an all-terrain course at Tuju Campground, an obstacle course and a paved test course.
Mud, Rain and Changing Terrain
The programme began on 19 October at Tuju Campground, where rain added to the challenge of an all-terrain course with mud tracks, S-bends, wavy roads and sand and gravel. i-ATS (Intelligent All-Terrain System) helped drivers adapt to the changing surfaces. Its nine modes combine seven terrain programmes with Smart Mode, which responds to changing surface conditions, and Expert Mode for experienced drivers.
“I think the driving experience is very good. The systems are working very well on the mud,” said a guest from Slovakia. “The weather is perfect for testing this car today.”
The All-Terrain Dual Lock System, which combines a virtual central differential lock with a rear electronic limited-slip differential (e-LSD), helped maintain traction on soft ground, while the dual-chamber air suspension can raise the vehicle for more ground clearance off road.
“I think it’s a combination of elegance, beauty and power for the off-road,” said a guest from the Dominican Republic.

Steep Climbs, Water and Cross-Axle Sections
On 20 and 21 October, the obstacle course included steep inclines, water crossings and cross-axle sections. Under the relevant test conditions, FREELANDER 8 can climb gradients of up to 70%, wade through water up to 900 mm deep and pass an 800 mm cross-axle test. When wading, radar measures the water depth, and the centre display shows it in real time. These capabilities are subject to the vehicle’s operating limits and appropriate driving conditions.
