Coralboard SL reaches general availability and ships now from DigiKey. New Coralboard SR joins the portfolio. Torq™ Edge AI compiler now also available for Coralboard.

SAN JOSE, Calif., Oct. 20, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Synaptics® Incorporated (Nasdaq: SYNA) today announced that the latest version of the Synaptics Coralboard is available for purchase through DigiKey starting today. Developed in collaboration with Google Research, the Coralboard SL is powered by the Synaptics Astra® SL2619, which integrates the 1 TOPS Synaptics Torq™ NPU featuring the first implementation of the Coral NPU. Following an initial limited-edition run, this version moves the platform to general availability through DigiKey’s global distribution network. The Coralboard portfolio is built for ultra-low power, always-on applications using ambient sensing, and is designed to deliver efficient, accelerated on-device inference for resource-constrained form factors.

Expanding the ecosystem and broadening developer choice, Synaptics also introduced the Coralboard SR, based on the newly launched Synaptics Astra® SR200 Series of xMCUs, a new class of AI-native, multimodal processors combining heterogeneous compute with integrated, high-bandwidth memory to bring vision, voice, and graphics to Edge and Physical AI systems.

The Coralboard family is designed to deliver a consistent Edge AI developer experience across the SL and SR versions thanks to the MLIR-based Synaptics Torq™ compiler and runtime. Synaptics’ Torq open-source toolchain supports widely used ML frameworks, giving developers a single path from model optimization through deployment. With an open, collaborative development and continuous refinement approach, Torq is designed to deliver day-0 support for Edge AI model families, such as Google Gemma3 270M (achieves up to 12-16 tokens/second with INT8 and 4-bit quantization respectively), LiquidAI LFM2.5, and Ultralytics YOLO26, employing active-research techniques such as batch-prefill and dynamic quantization.

Torq enables optimal execution across the Synaptics Astra processor portfolio by natively mapping model network layers to accelerator engines. Additionally, the open-source nature of Torq allows users to deploy agentic AI tools and workflows that parse through the source code and assist in feature-addition, performance customization, and debugging, promoting true Edge AI developer freedom.

The Synaptics Coralboard brings together the open hardware and software foundation for private, efficient Edge AI applications across wearables, hearables, smart home appliances, automation hubs, industrial control systems, and robotics.

Synaptics Coralboard SL comes with:

  • Astra SL2619 with 2x 2GHz Arm® Cortex® A55, Cortex-M52, 1 TOPS Torq/Coral NPU
  • 2GB DDR4, MicroSD card slot, NOR flash memory
  • Camera and display support via CSI/DSI and USB
  • QWICC and mikroBUS connectors
  • Add-on HATs for HDMI display, power, camera, and digital mics
  • Wi-Fi®/Bluetooth® connectivity through an M.2 expansion slot

Synaptics Coralboard SR offers:

  • Astra SR250 Series with 800MHz Arm Cortex M85, Cortex M52, 400 GOPS Torq/Coral NPU
  • Integrated SRAM up to 8MB and high-bandwidth custom DRAM up to 256MB
  • MicroSD card slot, NOR flash memory
  • Multi-camera and display support via CSI/DSI and USB, dual ISPs, digital mics
  • QWICC and mikroBUS connectors
  • Wi-Fi/Bluetooth connectivity

Building on its work with Google Research, Synaptics extends the Coralboard portfolio with a shared goal to defragment the developer experience for Edge AI.

“Our collaboration with Synaptics started from a shared view of what open Edge AI hardware should look like, and the Coralboard SL was the first developer-ready solution we co-created,” said Billy Rutledge, Director, Google Research. “The Synaptics Astra SR200 series now brings the second generation of the Coral NPU IP with RISC-V vector core support into silicon, and the Coralboard SR puts that in developers’ hands. Each version widens what can run at the Edge without asking developers to start over.”

“The Synaptics Coralboard is a starting line the whole ecosystem can share,” said Olivier Lacombe, Product Director, Google DeepMind. “With Gemma models optimized and ready to run on Coralboard, developers can stop solving the same integration puzzle, scale the model as their application requirements evolve, and start building the things only they can imagine.”

“The Synaptics Coralboard was designed to address a developer need for an open, cost-optimized AI-native Edge platform for the IoT,” said Vikram Gupta, SVP & GM, Edge Compute and Connectivity Division, Synaptics. “The limited-edition run validated this thinking, and our partnership with DigiKey now puts the Coralboard within reach of engineers worldwide. Integrating the open-source Synaptics Torq™ compiler, AI/ML developers get a unified, consistent experience that scales across our Astra portfolio.”

“Edge AI is where the next wave of design activity is happening, and developers need a starting point they can trust,” said Mike Slater, Vice President of Global Business Development, DigiKey. “As the exclusive distribution partner for the Synaptics Coralboard, we are putting an open, production-ready design platform in front of millions of engineers in our global network.”

“We’re excited to see Liquid.AI’s LFM2.5 Edge AI models running on the Synaptics Astra® SL2619. Our models are going to help drive new opportunities for Edge AI,” said Alan Wong, Head of Silicon Partnerships at Liquid AI.

“NPU compilers have largely been closed, black-box toolchains, which makes an open-source compiler like Synaptics Torq™ stand out in our industry,” said Daniel Chang, CEO, ENERZAi. “As a contributor to the Torq project, we’ve seen first-hand how its open, MLIR-based design gives developers the freedom to inspect, extend, and optimize models to accelerators. At the same time, as an Edge AI software company commercializing 1.58-bit on-device AI agents, we see Torq as a flexible and compelling path to bring these models into real-world products.”

Availability
The Synaptics Coralboard is available to order from DigiKey starting October 20, 2026. For product details, documentation, and to get started, visit https://developer.synaptics.com/docs/developer-kits/coralboard.

MCLEAN, Va., Oct. 20, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Cycurion, Inc., a Delaware corporation (NASDAQ: CYCU) (“Cycurion” or the “Company”), a leading AI-driven, tech-enabled cybersecurity solutions provider, today releases the following Letter to Shareholders from Kevin Kelly, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the Company.

Dear Fellow Shareholders,

First, thank you. I know how hard this period has been for our shareholders. I’ll come back to that, because it matters.

Many of you have reached out with questions, feedback and encouragement. I’ve read it. We’ve listened. And one question keeps coming up: we’ve regained Nasdaq bid-price compliance. What comes next?

Fair question. My answer is that we have to turn the foundation we’ve built into a stronger business, including more revenue, a better mix of products and services, and improved margins and cash generation. That’s the work ahead.

Let’s be honest. Much of the last few months has been spent working through inherited obligations and strengthening the organization. That work continues, and, alongside, we’ve assembled a team of former U.S. Intelligence Community professionals and private-sector cyber experts, including experienced technology and product leaders who have built, developed and successfully launched products. They had other options. They chose to join Cycurion because they believe in the opportunity to build a differentiated cybersecurity platform and create long-term value. We now have that expertise inside the Company.

Our October 14 announcement explains where we’re headed: predictive intelligence. This letter is my explanation of what that means, how we intend to put it to work, and what you should watch next.

What is predictive intelligence?

Picture this: you know someone wants to break into your house. You have locks on the doors and windows. Good. You have an alarm. Good. But wouldn’t you rather stop them before they ever step onto your property? That’s the idea: spot the intruder while they’re still on the street.

We study a client’s environment the way an attacker would. We connect threat intelligence with the client’s systems, vulnerabilities and operations to help find and address threats before they become disruptions. That is offense-informed defense, and predictive intelligence is how we aim to put it to work. It helps clients answer a practical question: where should we focus our people and our cybersecurity dollars first?

We deliver cybersecurity services to clients today. Certain new predictive capabilities are in beta testing with several organizations ahead of their planned release. For shareholders, the opportunity is to bring these capabilities to existing clients, win new customers, and grow a product business alongside our services. Here’s how the pieces fit together.

Why government? A foundation and room to grow

State and local governments are home turf. We have a long record of serving agencies across several states. That record is a strong foundation, but it’s only the starting point. We believe our new products and capabilities can help us expand into additional states and agencies that can’t afford a disruption in service.

On the federal side, we’ve brought on seasoned professionals from the Intelligence Community and the Special Operations community, people who understand what it takes to protect those who protect us. Our federal contracts are housed in two of our companies, Axxum and Cloudburst, and the depth of this team’s experience positions us to pursue federal contracts more aggressively.

Why commercial? Margins and expansion

Small and midsize businesses increasingly know they need cybersecurity. Then come the questions. What do we buy? Who do we call? Where are we actually exposed?

We want to help them find the broken lock. Predictive intelligence is designed to identify and prioritize the risks specific to their business. We’re starting with financial services and healthcare, where sensitive information and continuity of operations are central to what clients do.

Why commercial? Commercial sales cycles can often be shorter than government procurement cycles, allowing us to respond more quickly to customer demand and market opportunities. We can combine our services with differentiated products. And we believe that mix can support higher margins as we expand. The business case is straightforward: help clients solve a problem they understand, earn their trust, and grow the work we do with them.

Where does Digital Ally fit? Relationships we can build on

The acquired Digital Ally Video Solutions business brings relationships with more than 800 police departments, municipalities and public safety agencies. These organizations use technology to capture, transmit and store sensitive evidence. Those systems need protection.

We plan to introduce our cybersecurity products and services alongside the video technologies these clients already use. Predictive intelligence can help them understand where their systems are exposed and what to address first. That creates a cross-selling opportunity across an established customer base, although successful adoption will depend on customer needs, budget priorities and implementation timing.

Now we have to earn additional business and turn that opportunity into revenue.

Why products? Scale and higher margins

Today, approximately 80% of our business is services. Those engagements give us close client relationships and a practical understanding of their needs. Products give us a way to take that expertise further.

Services often require more people as engagements grow. A product can carry a capability across many customers, supported by our services. Development, sales and support require investment, but we believe a larger product contribution can improve our margins over time.

This is where our technology and product hires matter. Our Chief Product Officer and Chief Technology Officer bring significant experience developing and launching products, along with deep knowledge of offensive cybersecurity. They know how attackers think and what it takes to turn an idea into something customers use and pay for. That combination is now part of Cycurion.

Predictive intelligence runs through the roadmap we announced on October 14:

  • Targeting in the coming weeks: an AI-driven security operations capability.
  • Targeting this quarter: an enhanced release of Panoptic as a web application.
  • Targeting early 2027: a unified predictive intelligence platform.

These are planned release windows and remain subject to development, testing, customer feedback, regulatory considerations and other factors. We’ll announce names, availability and packaging as the capabilities move to release. Our team’s experience matters, but the test is delivery and adoption by paying customers.

What about dilution?

I’ll be direct: dilution hurts, and it affects all of us who own this stock. Like many companies at our stage, we expect to continue to rely on outside capital, and future financings may be dilutive.

When we raise capital, we work to choose the best option realistically available for the company and for shareholders, taking into account liquidity needs and existing obligations. We will disclose financing transactions as required. Over time, our goal is to build results that give us access to more conventional, less dilutive financing. We’re all in this together, and I’d rather be honest about the trade-off than pretend there isn’t one.

What about Nasdaq?

As announced on October 2, 2026, we regained Nasdaq’s minimum bid-price compliance following the reverse split and the qualifying bid-price period. We remain subject to continued listing requirements and a Discretionary Panel Monitor through October 1, 2027. During that monitor, a failure to meet a continued listing requirement would result in a delisting determination without additional cure time from Nasdaq staff; we could request a hearing.

Maintaining our listing remains a priority. That requires attention to governance, reporting, financial and other applicable requirements. Business growth alone does not guarantee a particular stock price or continued listing.

What should shareholders watch next?

Government gives us a foundation. Commercial offers expansion and margin opportunities. Products offer scale. Digital Ally gives us additional relationships to build on. Predictive intelligence connects the plan.

Judge our progress by what we deliver: products released, customers adopting them, contracts translating into reported revenue, and improvements in margins and cash generation. We believe these are among the more meaningful indicators of whether our strategy is creating sustainable value over time.

You will hear from us more often, including a brief monthly shareholder update alongside our quarterly results. We’ll aim to make it clearer what has been delivered, what remains in development, and how the business is performing.

Finally, I want to acknowledge what shareholders have been through. Calling this a challenging period doesn’t fully capture it. There have been significant setbacks, uncertainty, frustration and financial consequences. I recognize that, and I know a thank-you alone isn’t enough. You deserve clear answers and progress you can see.

We have more work to do. We also have experienced people, client relationships to build on and a clear direction. I’m optimistic about the opportunity ahead. My responsibility is to put those strengths to work, turn the plan into results, and keep you informed along the way.

Thank you for your continued engagement and for holding us accountable.

Sincerely,
L. Kevin Kelly
Chairman and Chief Executive Officer

Innovative new scores enable organizations to better identify risk throughout the consumer lifecycle; Oscilar’s Agentic Risk Platform is the first to offer the scores

CHICAGO, Oct. 20, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — TransUnion (NYSE: TRU) today announced the launch of its Credit Washing and Synthetic Fraud Scores with adverse action capability. These are the first-ever adverse-actionable solutions of their kind in the market, helping organizations identify and manage risks associated with synthetic identities and credit washing while supporting FCRA-governed, consumer-permissioned decisions. The scores allow lenders to make more informed credit decisions and provide consumers with applicable adverse-action reason codes explaining why they were denied credit—capabilities that were not previously available.

Synthetic identity fraud and credit washing remain among the fastest-growing and most costly forms of financial crime. TransUnion research estimates total lender exposure to synthetic identity fraud at $2.4 billion as of June 2026. By combining real and fabricated identity elements to create seemingly legitimate consumer profiles, fraudsters can evade traditional detection methods, establish accounts and generate substantial losses.

TransUnion analysis shows consumers whose charge-offs were suppressed through credit washing are 3.5 times more likely to charge-off a new account within a year of opening it, with super prime consumers 10x more likely. As schemes become more sophisticated, organizations need effective and explainable tools to identify high-risk applications before losses occur.

TransUnion’s new scores address synthetic fraud, where fabricated identities may appear legitimate, and credit washing, where suppressed negative credit history can obscure an applicant’s true risk. Drawing on TransUnion’s data assets, advanced analytics, and identity intelligence, these scores can help organizations identify these threats earlier, strengthen decision-making and mitigate potential financial losses before they materialize.

“Synthetic identity fraud and credit washing present unique challenges because they can conceal risk behind seemingly legitimate consumer profiles,” said James Garvert, executive vice president of global fraud and communications solutions at TransUnion. “By bringing advanced fraud intelligence into explainable, FCRA-governed decisioning, we’re helping organizations uncover threats that might otherwise go undetected, make more confident decisions, and mitigate potential financial losses.”

Oscilar, the Agentic Risk Platform for financial institutions, is the first platform to incorporate TransUnion’s Credit Washing and Synthetic Fraud Scores with adverse action capability. Within Oscilar, the scores and their reason codes run alongside credit decisioning in a single workflow, so lenders can act on synthetic identity and credit washing risk at account opening and cite it in adverse action notices. Oscilar supports end-to-end risk management across onboarding, credit, fraud and anti-money laundering workflows for more than 100 financial institutions.

“A fraud score only pays off if the lender can act on it,” said Neha Narkhede, co-founder and CEO of Oscilar. “TransUnion’s adverse-actionable scores give lenders a reason they can cite, and Oscilar puts that reason on the same decision and notice as the credit reasons. Fraud and credit stop being two systems with two answers. Every signal a lender trusts belongs on one view of the customer, so a risk the fraud team sees today shapes the credit decision tomorrow.”

As fraud tactics continue to evolve, TransUnion remains focused on advancing the intelligence and solutions organizations need to address emerging threats and stay ahead of increasingly sophisticated fraud.

MaluDB™, MaluOS™, and MaluMail™ give organizations enterprise infrastructure for scalable agentic and generative AI applications, available in open-source and enterprise subscription editions

SCHAUMBURG, Ill., Oct. 20, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Kinetic Seas Incorporated (OTCQB: KSEZ), an AI-focused software development company and a Certified Partner of the Claude Partner Network, today announced the commercial availability of three software platforms: MaluDB™, MaluOS™, and MaluMail™. Together, the products expand the company’s enterprise AI technology portfolio, providing businesses with foundational infrastructure for building, deploying, and operating AI-enabled business applications safely and securely.

All three products are offered under a dual open-source and enterprise subscription model, giving developers, businesses, and technology partners access to the underlying technologies while creating commercial opportunities through enterprise subscriptions and related professional services.

Kinetic Seas also announced that it has filed federal trademark applications with the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) for the MALUDB, MALUOS, and MALUMAIL marks as part of its strategy to establish and protect a growing portfolio of proprietary software brands.

Three Platforms Supporting the AI-Enabled Enterprise

MaluDB™ — Persistent Memory for Enterprise Artificial Intelligence

MaluDB™ is a scalable AI memory and database platform that provides persistent, structured memory for AI applications and autonomous agents. Unlike memory systems that run on an individual desktop, MaluDB™ is an enterprise-grade system built on PostgreSQL technology. It can be installed as standard packages on Linux and is fully integrated into the MaluOS™ operating system.

MaluDB™ delivers graph, vector, and relational search in a single platform built on PostgreSQL, one of the most durable and widely deployed databases in the enterprise. Organizations gain all three retrieval models without evaluating, procuring, and maintaining separate graph, vector, and relational database products, reducing the cost, risk, and review burden of bringing AI memory into production.

The lack of enterprise-grade persistent memory that can be shared across applications and AI agents has been a significant barrier to AI adoption. MaluDB™ is designed to remove that barrier.

MaluOS™ — The Enterprise Linux Operating System for Human and AI Partnerships

MaluOS™ is a modular Linux operating system designed to bring together business applications, organizational knowledge, workflows, human users, and autonomous AI agents within a single secure platform.

MaluOS™ supports organizations as they move beyond isolated AI tools toward integrated, AI-enabled business operations while maintaining data and AI sovereignty. The operating system is designed to securely manage enterprise applications, including traditional database, agentic AI, generative AI, and memory-first applications, using both frontier cloud models and open-weight local models.

MaluOS™ also includes an application framework that allows independent developers to build their own AI-enabled applications and deploy them directly within the operating system. Applications built on the framework inherit MaluOS™ services, including MaluDB™ persistent memory, agent coordination, and security controls, so developers can focus on business functionality rather than infrastructure. Kinetic Seas expects the framework to support a growing ecosystem of third-party applications for the platform.

For organizations running open-weight models on their own hardware, MaluOS™ provides a built-in queueing and routing system that manages inference requests across local models in a data center environment. This allows enterprises to deploy open-weight models at production scale, balancing workloads and directing requests to the appropriate model without relying on external cloud services.

MaluMail™ — Enterprise Email and Communications Infrastructure

MaluMail™ is a comprehensive email hosting and transmission platform built for AI-enabled applications in which AI agents must receive, process, and respond to email, while giving organizations granular control over the data AI agents can access within email.

Available as a hosted SaaS offering or as downloadable software for private deployment, MaluMail™ enables organizations to operate their own email infrastructure while retaining flexibility over hosting, administration, and data management. The platform also provides a communications foundation that can be incorporated into broader enterprise applications and automated business workflows.

Solving the AI Deployment Problem for Business

A central principle behind Kinetic Seas’ AI products is reducing the obstacles companies face when deploying AI-centric applications.

Organizations can subscribe to cloud-hosted services or deploy the software within their own infrastructure. This approach supports businesses with differing requirements for data residency, privacy, customization, and information technology management. The platforms are designed to complement one another while remaining available as independent products.

“Artificial intelligence is rapidly evolving from a collection of individual tools into an integral component of how businesses operate,” said Edward Honour, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Kinetic Seas Incorporated. “We believe organizations will increasingly need three foundational capabilities: persistent memory that allows AI systems to retain and use knowledge, an operating environment that coordinates people and intelligent agents, and communications infrastructure that connects business activities. MaluDB, MaluOS, and MaluMail represent our approach to building that foundation.”

Honour continued, “Equally important is giving customers control over their technology. By offering both hosted and self-managed deployments, we can serve organizations that prioritize convenience as well as those that require direct control over their applications, infrastructure, and data.”

Drone-captured LiDAR, 3D progress monitoring and digital terrain modeling are designed to support construction visibility and recurring service relationships from earthworks through structural development

VANCOUVER, British Columbia, Oct. 20, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — ZenaTech, Inc. (Nasdaq: ZENA) (FSE: 49Q) (BMV: ZENA) (“ZenaTech” or the “Company”), a technology solution provider specializing in AI (Artificial Intelligence) drone, Drone as a Service (DaaS), enterprise SaaS, and Quantum Computing solutions, today outlined the capabilities and commercial strategy behind ZenaWorx, its drone-based construction monitoring software targeting AI data centers, infrastructure and public works projects. The ZenaWorx construction monitoring software combines aerial data collection with software-based site modeling and analysis to help construction teams understand conditions on the ground, track changes over time and compare construction progress against project plans. The platform is being developed through collaboration between ZenaTech’s enterprise SaaS and Drone as a Service (DaaS) divisions.

“AI infrastructure is built in the physical world, and every phase of that build depends on accurate, repeatable measurement,” said Shaun Passley, Ph.D., CEO of ZenaTech. “With ZenaWorx, we are combining our Drone as a Service field locations network with drone data and software to give customers a consistent view of their projects from earthworks through structural development. That turns what has traditionally been a one-time survey visit into an ongoing relationship that can span the full life of a multi-year project, and we believe it could be a meaningful recurring revenue opportunity as we focus on adding customers and scaling this service across our network.”

ZenaWorx is designed to function as construction progress monitoring software, turning drone-captured LiDAR (Light Detection and Ranging) data into three-dimensional representations of construction sites. By collecting data at successive stages of construction, the platform is intended to help project teams identify differences between measured conditions and planned designs.

Its planned capabilities and applications support the work of surveyors, engineers and construction managers by providing additional measured site information such as:

  • 3D construction progress monitoring: Creating digital site models that help teams review structural and site development over time
  • Digital terrain modeling: Representing ground elevations and surface conditions to support earthworks planning and monitoring
  • Cut-and-fill measurement: Measuring the volumes of material removed or added during site preparation
  • Grading assessment: Comparing measured elevations and slopes with engineering plans
  • Drainage assessment support: Providing terrain information that helps qualified project professionals evaluate drainage conditions
  • Repeat site comparisons: Using successive surveys to document changes and support standardized progress reporting

AI data center campuses can involve substantial land preparation, grading, drainage and phased construction, and ZenaWorx is being designed to give project teams visibility into each stage through repeat aerial data collection and software-based reporting. During initial earthworks, terrain models can support assessment of site elevations and material movement. As construction advances, updated 3D models are intended to help teams track physical progress and compare measured conditions against project plans. Underpinning this approach is a continuing record of site development, with customers able to access updated information at agreed intervals throughout a project.

ZenaWorx is being offered through ZenaTech’s Drone as a Service network, allowing customers to access drone construction monitoring services without purchasing and operating their own drone fleets. The service is designed to be subscription-based for repeat-service arrangements spanning the life of construction projects, and the platform’s terrain modeling and progress-monitoring capabilities are also intended to address commercial construction, and public works needs, including landfill earthworks and municipal infrastructure projects.

ZenaWorx was introduced in May 2026, and in August 2026 the Company announced its first paying customer for AI data center construction monitoring and the addition of beta-stage digital terrain modeling. Additional updates will be provided as ZenaWorx service and product advancements and customer milestones are achieved.

Board believes the current share price does not reflect the value of Host Digital’s contracted AI data center platform

NEW YORK, NY, Oct. 20, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Host Digital Inc. (NYSE American: HOST) (“Host Digital” or the “Company”), a developer, owner, and operator of digital infrastructure for artificial intelligence (“AI”) and high-performance computing (“HPC”), today announced that its Board of Directors has unanimously authorized a share repurchase program under which the Company may repurchase up to $15 million of its outstanding common stock for up to one year.

The authorization reflects the Board’s confidence in Host Digital’s long-term strategy and gives the Company the flexibility to repurchase shares when it believes the market price does not reflect the value of its business, while continuing to prioritize the financing and delivery of its contracted data center projects.

Host Digital’s first project, Site I in northeast Oklahoma, is an energized facility with 55 megawatts (“MW”) of gross power and 43 MW of critical IT load. The site is leased under a 15-year take-or-pay agreement representing approximately $1.25 billion in base-term contracted revenue, with rent that increases 3% annually. The lease is expected to be supported by a backstop from a U.S.-based, investment-grade global technology company, and the Company is targeting delivery to its tenant in the first quarter of 2027.

Host Digital also continues to pursue the acquisition of a second energized and leased site in northeast Oklahoma from its sponsor, as previously disclosed.

“The Board authorized this program because we believe the market is undervaluing Host Digital and the assets it controls,” said Shawn Matthews, Chairman of the Board of Host Digital. “We see an opportunity to build long-term value per share by repurchasing stock at prices that do not appropriately reflect what this business is worth, in our view. We will weigh any repurchases against our project commitments and other uses of capital.”

“Our share price hasn’t changed the power available at Site I or the signed 15-year take-or-pay lease behind it,” said Harmol Samra, Host Digital’s Chief Executive Officer. “We’re targeting delivery in the first quarter of 2027, and our top priority remains financing, developing, and delivering our contracted projects. We’ll evaluate repurchases alongside those commitments and our other capital needs.”

In determining whether and when to repurchase shares, Host Digital will consider, among other factors, its liquidity and capital requirements, development expenditures, anticipated cash flows, alternative investment opportunities, the market price of its common stock, and prevailing market conditions.

The timing, method, price, and volume of any share repurchases will be at the Company’s discretion. Repurchases may be made through open market transactions, including pursuant to Rule 10b5-1 trading plans, privately negotiated transactions, or structured transactions arranged through investment banks, among other methods, in compliance with applicable securities laws and regulations, including Rules 10b5-1 and 10b-18 under the Securities Exchange Act of 1934. The Company is not obligated to repurchase any specific number of shares and may modify, suspend, or discontinue the program at any time.

About Host Digital

Host Digital Inc. (NYSE American: HOST) primarily develops, acquires, owns, and operates institutional-quality data centers in the United States that support AI and HPC workloads. The Company focuses on RightScaled sites of 20 MW to 100 MW with existing or near-term access to power, leased under long-term contracts to strong or credit-enhanced counterparties. Host Digital seeks to own and control the real estate, power, and data center infrastructure at each site, and provides turnkey facilities where tenants select and deploy their own compute infrastructure and model layers. Host Digital is led by CEO Harmol Samra, formerly of PGIM, Starwood and ICONIQ, where they developed a 2.2GW data center platform with 82 sites worldwide, and Chairman Shawn Matthews, the former CEO of global investment bank Cantor Fitzgerald. Access the Moleculin CEO Corner here

HOUSTON, Oct. 20, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Moleculin Biotech, Inc. (Nasdaq: MBRX) (“Moleculin” or the “Company”) today announced that it has released the next segment on its CEO Corner, a platform featuring Walter Klemp, Chief Executive Officer.

In this episode of CEO Corner, Moleculin Biotech Chairman and CEO Walter Klemp discusses the progress of the Company’s Phase 2/3 MIRACLE trial evaluating Annamycin in combination with high-dose cytarabine (HiDAC) for patients with second-line relapsed or refractory acute myeloid leukemia (AML). The discussion highlights the completion of enrollment in Part A, encouraging interim efficacy results, Annamycin’s potential to address treatment resistance and cardiac safety concerns associated with conventional anthracyclines, and the anticipated full 90-patient Part A data readout in the first quarter of 2027. Mr. Klemp also outlines the next steps toward the pivotal Part B expansion and the broader potential for Annamycin across AML and other cancers treated with anthracyclines.

Access the CEO Corner on the Company’s website here.

About Moleculin Biotech, Inc.

Moleculin Biotech, Inc. is a Phase 3 clinical stage pharmaceutical company advancing a pipeline of therapeutic candidates addressing hard-to-treat tumors and viruses. The Company’s lead program, Annamycin (also known as naxtarubicin), has shown to be an efficacious and well tolerated anthracycline designed to avoid multidrug resistance mechanisms and to lack the cardiotoxicity common with currently prescribed anthracyclines. Annamycin is currently in development for the treatment of relapsed or refractory acute myeloid leukemia (AML) and soft tissue sarcoma (STS) lung metastases.

The Company is conducting the MIRACLE (Moleculin R/R AML AnnAraC Clinical Evaluation) Trial (MB-108), a pivotal, adaptive design, multi-center, randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled Phase 2/3 trial evaluating Annamycin in combination with cytarabine (also referred to as “Ara-C”), together referred to as AnnAraC, for the treatment of relapsed or refractory acute myeloid leukemia. Following a successful Phase 1B/2 study (MB-106), with input from the FDA, the Company believes it has substantially de-risked the development pathway toward a potential approval for Annamycin for the treatment of AML. This study remains subject to appropriate future filings with potential additional feedback from the FDA and their foreign equivalents.

Additionally, the Company is developing WP1066, an Immune/Transcription Modulator capable of inhibiting p-STAT3 and other oncogenic transcription factors while also stimulating a natural immune response, targeting brain tumors, pancreatic and other cancers. Moleculin also has in its pipeline a portfolio of antimetabolites, including WP1122 for the potential treatment of pathogenic viruses, as well as certain cancer indications.

Forward-looking statements in this press release include, without limitation, the potential efficacy and safety of Annamycin and AnnAraC in R/R AML, expected timing of the comprehensive Part A data readout in Q1 2027, the anticipated composition of the Part A population including the expected approximate 50/50 split between fit and unfit subjects, the potential for Part A data to support dose selection for Part B, and the expectation that interim efficacy trends observed in a limited patient population will be confirmed in the full study population. Moleculin will require significant additional financing, for which the Company has no commitments, in order to conduct its clinical trials as described in this press release, and the milestones described in this press release assume the Company’s ability to secure such financing on a timely basis. Although Moleculin believes that the expectations reflected in such forward-looking statements are reasonable as of the date made, expectations may prove to have been materially different from the results expressed or implied by such forward-looking statements. The Company relies on the reports of its expert with regard to the absence of cardiotoxicity. The dataset referenced in this press release is subject to the review of the data from future subjects in its current and future clinical trials and long-term follow-up with subjects in its current trials. Moleculin has attempted to identify forward-looking statements by terminology including ‘believes,’ ‘estimates,’ ‘anticipates,’ ‘expects,’ ‘plans,’ ‘projects,’ ‘intends,’ ‘potential,’ ‘may,’ ‘could,’ ‘might,’ ‘will,’ ‘should,’ ‘approximately’ or other words that convey uncertainty of future events or outcomes to identify these forward-looking statements.
