Dealer Profiles and Service Directory improve seller visibility while connecting buyers with trusted providers throughout the equipment lifecycle

CHICAGO, Sept. 10, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Machinio, a software provider that offers powerful tools to manage customers, sales and services, inventory, and marketing, today announced new enhancements to Machinio Marketplace, its platform that powers discovery and transactions for machinery and equipment. These enhancements are designed to give machinery buyers greater transparency while helping sellers and service providers showcase their businesses and generate new opportunities.

As AI-powered search changes how buyers find equipment and evaluate sellers, access to detailed, credible information has become increasingly important. Machinio Marketplace gives buyers more context earlier in their purchasing journey while providing sellers with more ways to advertise their inventory, expertise, and services.

What’s New in Machinio Marketplace

Greater Seller Visibility, Dealer Profiles, and a New Dealer Directory
Previously, Machinio Marketplace kept seller information hidden until a buyer submitted a lead inquiry, helping sellers capture buyer interest and connect directly with prospects. With this update, company names now appear directly on equipment listings and link to dedicated Dealer Profiles, giving buyers more visibility upfront while continuing to create direct connections between buyers and sellers.

Dealer Profiles give buyers a more complete view of each seller, including company information, contact details, marketplace history, customer reviews, available services, and active inventory. By making seller information accessible before an inquiry is submitted, Machinio Marketplace helps buyers make more informed decisions while giving equipment businesses a stronger digital presence to showcase their expertise and offerings.

The update also introduces the Dealer Directory, a searchable index of every dealer on the marketplace. Buyers can look up a dealer by name or browse by industry and geography, making it possible to find the right vendor even when they aren’t searching for a specific machine. For sellers, the directory creates an additional discovery channel that surfaces their business to buyers earlier in the buying process.

“We have been a Machinio client for years, and the platform keeps getting more useful,” said Justin Kadis, Executive Vice President of Federal Equipment Company. “The expanded seller profile lets us show our full inventory and track record in one place instead of buyers having to piece it together. We hear from serious buyers faster, with less back-and-forth. And having a dedicated presence in the service and dealer directories helps buyers find us for exactly what we do best. It’s a platform that keeps adding real value.”

Service Directory Connects Buyers with Industry Experts
Machinio Marketplace is also expanding beyond equipment discovery with the launch of the Service Directory, a new way for buyers to find trusted providers for the critical services needed before, during, and after an equipment purchase. The Service Directory lists verified vendors who specialize in specific services, as well as Machinio Dealers who also provide valuable services throughout the equipment lifecycle.

The Service Directory launches with three key categories:
Verify – Certified inspections, appraisals, financing, and related services before purchase
Move – Heavy-haul transportation, customs brokerage, storage, and installation
Run – Repair, maintenance, parts and components, retrofitting, and lifecycle support

In the coming months, Machinio will continue expanding Profiles and Directories with additional features designed to help buyers and sellers connect more efficiently.

Listing Quality Score
Machinio is introducing the Listing Quality Score, a new tool for Machinio.com sellers who manually add inventory, and clients whose websites and CRMs are powered by Machinio. Displayed on the main Listings tab, the aggregate score measures how complete a seller’s inventory data is based on the key details that drive online discoverability. Higher scores help listings appear more effectively in search results and improve eligibility for discovery through AI-powered tools. Actionable guidance is also built directly into the listing creation and editing experience, pointing sellers toward the information that matters most for building complete, discoverable listings.

“We have received very strong feedback from our existing clients on the Listing Quality Score feature,” said Laura Pereira, Senior Director of Operations at Machinio. “They are excited to have a more in-depth understanding of the quality and completeness of their listing data, along with the tools and guidance to make immediate improvements. Some clients have even set internal goals to “get in the green” with their score. We are especially excited to see businesses taking ownership of their data and feeling empowered to make the changes needed to improve their online discoverability.”

“Machinio has been a valuable partner to MachineryMax, and we appreciate how the platform continues to evolve with the needs of buyers and sellers,” said Saad Fahim, Senior Digital Marketing Manager at MachineryMax. “These new updates create a more transparent, credible experience and make it easier for customers to learn about our business and connect with us.”

Technology demonstrations showcase next-generation contribution workflows with JPEG XS and AI-driven device management

MONTREAL, Sept. 10, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Haivision (TSX: HAI), a leading global provider of mission‑critical, real‑time video networking and visual collaboration solutions, will highlight two major technology demonstrations at IBC2026 that underscore the company’s commitment to innovation and operational excellence across broadcast contribution workflows.

At this year’s show, Haivision will feature advancements in both lossless ultra-low latency video transport and intelligent device management, advancing its position as one of the most dynamic broadcast technology vendors in the industry.

JPEG XS Encoding and Decoding with the Makito ONE Video Transport Platform
Haivision will demonstrate JPEG XS encoding and decoding on the Makito ONE video transport platform, designed for high-performance, ultra-low latency contribution workflows. The demonstration showcases how the Makito ONE implementation of JPEG XS provides visually lossless compression and sub-frame latency. JPEG XS is increasingly used in high-end sports remote production where camera feeds are transported over managed IP networks with precise timing, consistent color accuracy, and frame-accurate synchronization. This is critical for real-time production switching, replay operations, and centralized referee review systems.

AI–Powered Device Management within Haivision Hub 360
Haivision will also showcase new AI-powered device configuration capabilities integrated into Haivision Hub 360. This technology demonstration highlights how intelligent automation can assist and streamline setup, monitoring, and optimization of Haivision contribution devices – including video encoders, mobile transmitters, and IP gateways – within a unified cloud master control environment. This is especially useful in newsgathering workflows where non-technical users are responsible for capturing live video content and in sports and remote production workflows where teams are regularly managing many devices applied across diverse product use cases.

Driving the Future of Broadcast Contribution
With these technology demonstrations, Haivision is showcasing the next generation of intelligent, resilient, and efficient live video contribution. By advancing both video transport performance and operational efficiency, Haivision is reinforcing why it remains one of the most dynamic vendors in the broadcast technology landscape.

Experience the Technology Demonstration at IBC2026

TAP Real Estate is a next-generation real estate company providing residential and commercial property owners with digital technology management services across their property’s lifecycle; as well as the preparation and issuance of tokenized offerings into the market. The agreement includes a technology services contract, equity ownership, tokenization exclusivity and a repeatable business model for TAP Real Estate in commercial and hospitality markets.

Midway, UT and San Diego, CA, Sept. 10, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — TAP Real Estate Technologies, Inc. (OTC: RWAX) announced today that it has entered into a Technology Services Agreement with Alpenhaus Resort, LLC, the new owner and operator of Zermatt Resort in Midway, Utah, to provide the digital infrastructure and strategic technology services supporting the existing resort and its planned upgrade.

TAP Real Estate will serve as the digital infrastructure, tokenization and technology service provider. This distinction is central to the model: TAP Real Estate supplies the connected operating infrastructure around the asset without replacing the people, entities, licensed parties or property systems that legally control the resort. Pursuant to the agreement, Alpenhaus agreed to pay TAP Real Estate a $60,000 upfront technology platform fee and ongoing $6,000 monthly technology service fees. Alpenhaus also granted TAP Real Estate the exclusive right to act as its tokenization services provider. The initial term of the agreement is one year, with automatic one-year extensions unless either side provides notice of termination.

Equity ownership in a historic Utah resort located in one of the fastest-growing U.S. recreation corridors, with plans for significant modernization.

Separately, TAP Real Estate received a 2% ownership interest in Alpenhaus. TAP Real Estate received this ownership stake in exchange for the transfer of its purchase option for the Zermatt Resort to Alpenhaus.

Under Alpenhaus, the historic Zermatt Resort and grounds are expected to undergo a significant property improvement program under its new ownership. The plan is intended to transform the existing resort into an upgraded four-star, four-season destination while modernizing its rooms, public spaces, meetings and group facilities, wellness experiences, operating systems and guest services, and more.

The Zermatt Resort offers convenient access to Deer Valley Resort’s expanding ski terrain, Soldier Hollow and other Utah 2034 Winter Olympics venues, cycling, championship golf, Blue-Ribbon fly fishing on the Provo River, nearby ATV rentals, boating, paddleboarding and jet skiing at Deer Creek and Jordanelle reservoirs.

Located in Midway, Utah, approximately 45 minutes from Salt Lake City International Airport, Zermatt sits within one of the Mountain West’s most concentrated four-season recreation corridors. Midway, Utah, boasts one of the highest per capita income levels of any city in Utah and is a fast-growing corridor for technology executives, second homes and relocation from other states to the “Silicon Slopes.”

Zermatt boasts 65,000 square feet of convention, meeting and exhibition space, making it one of the most desirable group destinations in the region. Learn more about the Zermatt digital operating model and planned transformation at: TAPRealEstate.com/zermatt.

A digital model from capitalization-to-checkout for the next generation of property owners

The TAP Real Estate technology engagement is designed to establish a repeatable business model for the full lifecycle of a hospitality or commercial asset consisting of flat fees, equity and performance incentives, depending on the relationship with each owner or property.

The TAP Real Estate business model establishes multiple revenue streams per property in exchange for subscription technologies, digital payments, registry and asset recordation and tokenization services:

  1. Platform Fees
  2. Technology Services Fees
  3. Tokenization Fees
  4. Equity Ownership in Select Properties

Traditional property technology separates capitalization, ownership administration, renovation records, hotel systems, vendor workflows, payments and guest engagement. TAP Real Estate’s approach connects those layers while preserving the authority, privacy and legal boundaries of each participant, creating a new model for a digital-first real estate technology company built for the significant changes ahead across one of the world’s largest asset classes

TAP Real Estate: One platform, multiple technology solutions for property owners

TAP Real Estate is developing a next-generation real estate technology company that can service the digital lifecycle of renters, homeowners and commercial property operators. Its core website, TAPRealEstate.com, delivers AI, market intelligence, tokenization information, payments, investing and an asset registry in one place for consumers, property owners and tokenized issuers.

As part of the TAP Real Estate subscription layer, Zermatt will serve as the pilot property for bringing together all three audience-specific editions of the TAP Real Estate web platform. The services share one TAP identity, registry, communications, property data, payment rails and permission controls, while offering multiple layers of targeted services across payments, documents, repairs, service providers, and asset registry.

Consumer Subscription: Serves authorized owners, investors and guests through property information, statements, notices, votes, payments, services and guest experiences.
Pro Subscription: Connects service providers to requests, communication, jobs, quotes, schedules, invoices, payment requests and the retained property record.
Enterprise Subscription: Supports ownership administration, the physical asset, the property improvement program, investor reporting and approved operating integrations.

Further, TAP Pay adds verified internal transfers, payment requests, ACH, real-time payments, domestic wires and native stablecoin send and receive, including USDC, where eligible and enabled. TAP Wallet’s blockchain payment infrastructure is supported by U.S. Patent No. 12,118,613 B2, System and Method for Transferring Currency Using Blockchain, through technology licensed from TAP, Inc. The TAP Registry provides digital recordation of assets in order to prepare owners to more seamlessly become issuers of tokenized offerings, verified ownership and capital formation.

In the future, as TAP Real Estate and its partners at TAP, Inc. begin to tokenize more properties for investment, the companies may also look to create new TAP Strategies that can accompany various real estate themes, sectors or regions into new investment baskets; further digitizing the future of real estate into a more programmable, investable asset class beyond just singular buyers and sellers.

“As the world’s leading trading exchanges continue to pilot 24/7, tokenized formats, it is anticipated that more ways to invest into real estate, ranging from tokenized stocks to real-world assets and prediction markets will become available. We believe that property owners will need end-to-end support to digitize their documents, title, registry and operations as they become issuers into the public markets, and TAP Real Estate will serve as a new kind of real estate company to help them do that, very similar to how investment banks emerged around the traditional equities markets for corporate issuers,” continued Hopkins.

A property that remembers across investors, guests, ownership and service providers

TAP Real Estate for Enterprise organizes the digital organization, recordation and improvement program tracking for rooms, suites, public areas, amenities, equipment, warranties, inspections and preventive maintenance. The objective is simple: the hotel asset keeps its verified history, while confidential documents and personal data remain private and permissioned.

The TAP Registry is expected to preserve a digital property passport covering approved ownership, transaction and material asset events. TAP previously used the TAP Registry to memorialize the completed repayment of more than $7 million in loans tied to The Slope, a new mountain village and Andaz residences property along the growing Midway-Heber resort corridor, just minutes from Deer Valley East.

The relationship with Zermatt Resort extends the TAP Real Estate model from the digital and blockchain recording of a completed transaction at The Slope, to the entire process of capitalization, property improvements, tokenization and the continuing lifecycle of property management and operations.

Using the digital organization and documentation delivered by TAP Real Estate, potential future tokenized capitalization of Zermatt will represent approved equity interests in the designated issuer while recorded title remains in the applicable property-owning entity and the legally operative capitalization table remains controlling. Tokenization changes the format and administration of ownership. It does not replace applicable laws, securities requirements, title records, investor protections or transfer restrictions using the TAP Invest and TAP Registry platform.

A repeatable model for TAP Real Estate

The engagement covers the initial digital foundation, tokenized capitalization, continuing owner and investor administration, property operations, verified payments, guest workflows and approved future capital events.

Digital foundation. Property records, access controls, integrations and the Zermatt digital property environment.
Ownership and capital. Token design, issuance, cap-table synchronization, onboarding, reporting, distributions, votes, consents and approved transfers.
Operations and payments. The Enterprise, Consumer and Pro editions, TAP Registry, TAP Pay and approved workflows for the upgrade, asset, service network and guest experience.

“A property should not lose its digital operating memory every time an owner, manager or service provider changes,” said Gregory Hopkins, Chief Executive Officer of TAP Real Estate. “At Zermatt, we are building from capitalization to checkout: one permissioned digital backbone connecting ownership, the upgrade, operations, payments and the connected guest experience.”

HONG KONG, Sept. 10, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Smart Logistics Global Limited (Nasdaq: SLGB) (the “Company”) today announced that, through its wholly owned subsidiary Xuzhou Jiabin Supply Chain Co., Ltd. (the “Xuzhou Jiabin Supply Chain Center”), it has completed its first import of aluminum scrap raw materials from Vietnam and signed a long-term supply agreement with an overseas resource partner.

The transaction marks the Company’s entry into cross-border non-ferrous metals trading, the first operation of its non-ferrous metals trading platform. It is also an important step in expanding bulk commodity supply-chain activity at the Xuzhou Jiabin Supply Chain Center, and a key implementation step in the Company’s 2026 digital integrated supply chain strategy. That strategy focuses on building two platforms in parallel: an industrial raw-materials logistics platform and a non-ferrous metals trading platform, with the aim of connecting physical logistics capacity with commercial trading flows.

North–South Dual-Core Network as the Foundation of the Logistics Platform

The Company was established in 2017 and focuses on enterprise B2B contract logistics and industrial raw-material line-haul transportation.

In January 2026, the Company established the Xuzhou Jiabin Supply Chain Center in Jiangsu Province in northern China. Together with the Fuzhou Jiabin modern logistics park in Jiangxi Province in southern China, the two sites form a North–South dual-core logistics network.

The dual-core network combines standardized warehousing, full-truck-load (FTL) line-haul transportation, and the Company’s self-developed transportation management system (TMS). This infrastructure is the operating base of the Company’s industrial raw-materials logistics platform. It is designed to support end-to-end services covering cross-border movement, warehousing, transportation, and delivery, while continuing to serve the Company’s existing industrial logistics customers.

Trading Platform First Operation: Initial Aluminum Scrap Import from Vietnam and Long-Term Supply Agreement

In September 2026, through the Xuzhou Jiabin Supply Chain Center, the Company completed its first shipment of aluminum scrap raw materials originating from Vietnam and signed a long-term supply agreement with an overseas resource partner. The shipment represents the first operation of its non-ferrous metals cross-border trading platform and the start of a broader international sourcing effort.

In addition to Vietnam, the Company is actively developing additional global sourcing channels and cross-border cooperation to strengthen the trading platform and help meet domestic demand for recycled metal raw materials.

Integration and Intended Synergy of the Two Platforms

The two platforms are intended to support each other: the logistics network can provide fulfillment capacity and customer access for the trading platform, while trading volumes, if realized, can generate additional freight flows that help utilize logistics capacity. This may improve resource utilization and operating efficiency across both platforms.

While continuing to develop the industrial raw-materials logistics platform, the Company’s longer-term strategic objective is to grow the non-ferrous metals trading platform toward an annual trading volume of approximately 100,000 tons, with phased milestones to be set by reference to the development of global sourcing channels and downstream demand. This figure is a forward-looking planning target. It is not a current run-rate, and there can be no assurance that it will be achieved.

The Company is also seeking additional strategic cooperation, industry integration, and potential acquisition opportunities to strengthen upstream resource access and support nationwide expansion of both platforms. There can be no assurance that any such transaction will occur or be completed on particular terms.

Management Commentary

Hue Kwok Chiu, the Company’s Chief Executive Officer, commented, “Completing the first Vietnam aluminum scrap raw-material import and signing a long-term supply agreement is an important first step for our non-ferrous metals trading platform, which currently operates on top of our existing logistics network. The North–South dual-core network allows the two platforms to share assets, customers, and operating capacity.”

Continued Mr. Hue, “We will continue to expand global sourcing channels and deepen relationships with downstream customers as we work toward a longer-term annual trading target of approximately 100,000 tons, while further developing partnerships and industry coordination around the two platforms.”

Omada expects to continue to grow revenue at least 20% annually, and updates long-term non-GAAP gross margin target to 80% and adjusted EBITDA margin target to 30%

SAN FRANCISCO, Sept. 10, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Omada Health (Nasdaq: OMDA), the virtual-first, between-visit healthcare provider, will present its long-term financial targets at the company’s inaugural Investor Day, being held today at the Four Seasons Hotel in New York, New York.

Omada is announcing the following long-term financial targets:

  • Continued annual revenue growth of at least 20%
  • Non-GAAP gross margin of 80%
  • Adjusted EBITDA margin of 30%

The updated targets are based on continued progress within Omada’s operating framework consisting of Covered Lives, Enrollment, Engagement, and Efficiency. From fiscal 2023 through the second quarter of fiscal 2026 on a trailing twelve-month basis, Omada nearly tripled its total member base and revenue, growing members from approximately 0.3 million to 1.09 million and revenue from approximately $123 million to $310 million. During the same time period, Omada expanded gross margin from 57% to 68% and non-GAAP gross margin from 60% to 70%.

Omada expects continued growth in covered lives through the ramp of national partners, including Optum Rx and Health Care Service Corporation, while Omada’s investments in enrollment, engagement, and AI are designed to convert more of these eligible lives into members.

“We look forward to Investor Day as a moment to share our ambitions and plans to grow covered lives, build awareness of Omada as a benefit, and deepen engagement with members. The scale and momentum we are focusing on across enrollment, engagement, and efficiency give us confidence to update our long-term targets,” said Sean Duffy, Co-Founder and CEO of Omada Health. “This is the moment to push even harder on our mission to bend the curve of chronic disease in America.”

The approximately 10 percentage points of additional non-GAAP gross margin expansion compared to the second quarter of 2026 are expected to come roughly equally from revenue and product-mix benefits and cost-of-revenue efficiencies. Omada expects key drivers impacting our non-GAAP gross margin and adjusted EBITDA margin to include engagement, prescribing, a higher-value product mix, AI-enabled automation, improved coach productivity, supply chain optimization, and increased care delivery efficiency. Combined with a targeted operating leverage toward operating expenses of approximately 50% of revenue, Omada expects improvements on these key drivers to support a long-term adjusted EBITDA margin of 30%.

“Our long-term targets reflect the significant scale and operating leverage we believe are inherent in Omada’s model,” said Steve Cook, Chief Financial Officer of Omada Health. “We have more than doubled our membership since the second quarter of 2024, while expanding non-GAAP gross margin by approximately 800 basis points, and we see potential for 80% non-GAAP gross margin and adjusted EBITDA margin of 30%. By executing across covered lives, enrollment, engagement, and efficiency, and while leveraging AI and operating efficiencies, we believe we can deliver durable growth and meaningful profitability at scale.”

In some cases, forward-looking statements can be identified by words such as: “anticipate,” “intend,” “plan,” “believe,” “project,” “estimate,” “expect,” “may,” “should,” “will” and similar references to future periods. Examples of forward-looking statements contained in this press release include, but are not limited to, statements we make regarding our future performance or achievements, projections related to our financial targets, expectations related to the growth and development of our programs, our ability to deliver profitable growth, business trends, growth prospects and future financial and operating results, and our financial outlook.

Forward-looking statements are neither historical facts nor assurances of future performance. Instead, they are based only on our current beliefs, expectations and assumptions regarding the future of our business, future plans and strategies, projections, anticipated events and trends, macroeconomic and industry conditions, and other factors. Because forward-looking statements relate to the future, they are subject to inherent uncertainties, risks and changes in circumstances that are difficult to predict and many of which are outside of our control. Our actual results and financial condition may differ materially from those indicated in the forward-looking statements. Important factors that could cause our actual results and financial condition to differ materially from those indicated in the forward-looking statements include, but are not limited to, the following: our limited operating history and ability to manage our growth effectively; our history of net losses and ability to maintain profitability; the ability of our programs to achieve and maintain market acceptance; changes in the healthcare industry and competition; the growth and success of our customers and channel partners; the number of individuals covered by our programs and the number of our programs covered by our customers; the level of member engagement in our programs; our ability to maintain and grow customer and channel partner relationships; concentration of a substantial portion of our sales among a limited number of customers and channel partners; our ability to attract new customers and channel partners and increase member enrollment from existing and new customers and channel partners; our ability to increase the size of our organization; our dependence on a limited number of third-party suppliers; the impact of seasonality on our financial results; our ability to achieve widespread brand awareness and the impact of any negative media coverage; our ability to develop and release new programs and services; cybersecurity threats; our dependence on the interoperability of our programs and connected devices with third-party devices, operating systems and applications; changes in laws or regulations or the implementation of existing laws and regulations; compliance with privacy and security laws and regulations; our and our affiliated professional entities’ compliance with healthcare regulatory laws; any modification in U.S. Food and Drug Administration enforcement policies; our dependence on our relationships with affiliated professional entities; and other risk factors identified in our filings with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (the “SEC”), including our Quarterly Report on Form 10-Q for the quarter ended June 30, 2026, which was filed with the SEC on August 7, 2026.

All forward-looking statements in this press release are based only on information currently available to us and speak only as of the date on which they are made. We undertake no obligation to publicly update, revise, or correct any forward-looking statement, whether written or oral, that may be made from time to time, whether as a result of new information, future developments or otherwise, except as required under applicable law.

Non-GAAP Financial Measures:
This press release includes certain financial measures not calculated in accordance with U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (“GAAP”). These non-GAAP financial measures should be considered as supplements to and should not be considered replacements for, or superior to, GAAP gross margin and GAAP net income (loss) and comprehensive income (loss) margin, their respective most comparable GAAP financial measures.

We define non-GAAP gross margin as gross profit, excluding share-based compensation expense, amortization of intangible assets, and depreciation and amortization; divided by revenue. We define adjusted EBITDA margin as net income (loss) and comprehensive income (loss) reported on our consolidated statements of operations, excluding the impact of interest expense, interest income, change in fair value of warrant liabilities, loss on debt extinguishment, provision for income taxes, share-based compensation expense, amortization of intangible assets, depreciation and amortization, and loss on disposal of property and equipment; divided by revenue.

We believe these non-GAAP financial measures, when taken collectively with GAAP financial information, are useful to investors and others because they allow for additional information with respect to financial measures used by management in its financial and operational decision-making. However, there are a number of limitations related to the use of non-GAAP financial measures. Our presentation of non-GAAP financial measures may not be comparable to similar measures used by other companies. We encourage investors to carefully consider our results under GAAP, as well as our supplemental non-GAAP information and reconciliation between these presentations to more fully understand our business.

Omada does not provide reconciliations of forward-looking non-GAAP gross margin and adjusted EBITDA margin to GAAP gross margin and GAAP net income (loss) and comprehensive income (loss) margin, respectively, because these GAAP measures on a forward-looking basis are not available without unreasonable effort due to the potential variability and complexity of the items excluded from non-GAAP gross margin and adjusted EBITDA margin, such as loss on debt extinguishment; provision for income taxes; depreciation and amortization; share-based compensation; change in fair value of warrant liabilities; amortization of intangible assets; and loss on disposal of property and equipment.

Proposed Saudi institute advances RYET’s international education strategy with Changan Anyi and Intersect

KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia, Sept. 10, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Ruanyun Edai Technology Inc. (NASDAQ: RYET) (“RYET” or the “Company”) announced that it entered into a memorandum of understanding with Chongqing Anyi Automobile Technical Service Co., Ltd. (“Changan Anyi”) and Intersect Holding (“Intersect”) to develop an automotive and new energy vehicle (“NEV”) institute in Saudi Arabia. The proposed institute is intended to combine degree and vocational education with practical automotive training, extending RYET’s Saudi education activities into a major area of industrial development.

RYET has established a Saudi regional headquarters through Soft Cloud Smart Technology Company, announced cooperation with Wadi Makkah Technology Company and begun developing a commercialization pathway for its HanLink Chinese Learning Platform. Its collaboration with Intersect, announced in August, supports the introduction of Chinese education and technology capabilities to the Kingdom. The proposed institute would build on those local relationships to develop specialist automotive programs for Saudi students.

Bringing Changan’s automotive expertise into education

Changan Anyi is authorized by Chongqing Changan Automobile Co., Ltd. to carry out overseas work in automotive after-sales knowledge transfer, industry and education cooperation, and teaching equipment, as described in the MOU. Changan Automobile is a major Chinese automaker: it reported sales of 2.913 million vehicles in 2025, including more than 1.11 million NEVs, and overseas sales of 637,000 vehicles.

Changan’s international brand portfolio includes CHANGAN, DEEPAL and AVATR. At its April 2025 overseas partner conference, the automaker reported an 18,000-person research and development team, including 5,000 software and AI specialists. That combination of vehicle manufacturing and software engineering is particularly relevant as automotive training expands from mechanical servicing into battery systems, electronic diagnostics and intelligent vehicle technologies.

For the proposed institute, Changan Anyi would contribute curriculum and technical standards, laboratory planning and instructor training, with continuing course updates. The Company believes these industry-based resources can help students develop skills that keep pace with changes in the vehicles they may service.

“Our ambition is to lead the international development and delivery of specialized vocational education. We see new energy vehicles as an increasingly important field for applying AI. Automotive education needs current technical content, practical facilities and qualified instructors working together. With Changan Anyi and Intersect, we aim to bring China’s automotive industry resources to Saudi institutions and develop degree and vocational pathways that prepare talent for the Kingdom’s growing NEV sector,” said Maggie Fu, Chief Executive Officer of Ruanyun Edai Technology Inc.

Developing degree and vocational programs in Saudi Arabia

The project contemplates cooperation with Umm Al-Qura University and its affiliated colleges, including the Applied College. The proposed scope combines four-year undergraduate programs with two-year applied diploma programs in automotive and NEV fields, alongside practical training in vehicle maintenance, power-battery testing, diagnostics and after-sales services.

Intersect is a Saudi business group and commercialization platform led by co-founder and Chief Executive Officer Ali Alsaileek. It brings local market knowledge, institutional relationships and venture-development experience to the collaboration. Wadi Makkah Technology Company, the investment company wholly owned by Umm Al-Qura University, is an investor in Intersect. For the academy, Intersect’s role centers on Saudi institutional engagement, facilities and admissions discussions, and coordination of local approvals and implementation.

RYET intends to organize the Chinese teaching resources, instructors and commercial arrangements needed to develop and deliver the programs, including curriculum and laboratory implementation. The Company believes this work could expand its institutional education business through program development and continuing delivery services. Fees and other commercial terms would be negotiated for individual projects.

The proposed institute forms part of RYET’s planned Formind strategy to expand international education and institutional services. RYET has established Formind Global Holdings Sdn. Bhd. in Malaysia as part of its international operating platform, alongside its Saudi regional headquarters. The Company believes this developing presence can support education partnerships that combine industry expertise with local delivery. The proposed Saudi institute would extend that strategy into automotive and NEV education.

The Company believes Saudi Arabia’s large vehicle fleet and planned EV infrastructure expansion may contribute to demand for technicians trained in maintenance, battery systems, electrical safety and diagnostics. The proposed institute would prepare students for these roles through academic study and hands-on training.

The MOU sets out an initial 12-month development framework. The proposed institute’s establishment, university participation, degree-awarding arrangements, funding and commercial terms remain subject to definitive agreements and applicable approvals. There can be no assurance that the proposed institute will be established, that a university will participate, or that the collaboration will produce contracts or revenue. Third-party infrastructure plans may change. Umm Al-Qura University and its colleges are not signatories to the MOU.
