AB „Ignitis grupė“ (hereinafter – Ignitis Group) informs that the members of the Board of its subsidiary Energijos skirstymo operatorius (ESO), having assessed the need for changes at the Board level, have announced their resignation as of 30 September 2026. The term of office of the current ESO Board was due to end on 13 February 2027
.
“The members of ESO’s Board made personal decisions to step down in order to accelerate the company’s ability, with a new Board, to attract more competencies focused on grid resilience and business continuity, and to reduce the current tension surrounding the company. Addressing the root causes of the grid’s vulnerability requires the full alignment of all stakeholders, with priority given to resilience and business continuity rather than solely to the price of the service or the protection of trees in power line clearings,” says Chair of the ESO Board Nerijus Datkūnas.

Although the ESO Board will temporarily not operate, ESO’s business continuity and smooth decision-making will be ensured: ESO will operate through the interim CEO and the General Meeting of Shareholders, whose functions are performed by the sole shareholder, Ignitis Group.

In addition, to substantially review the competencies of ESO’s collegial management body, Ignitis Group will immediately prepare an updated competency profile and initiate the selection of the new ESO Board.

We would like to remind you that at the extraordinary meeting convened on 10 September, the ESO Board accepted the resignation of ESO CEO Renaldas Radvila, with 30 September 2026 considering his last day in office. To ensure the smooth organisation of ESO’s activities and handover of responsibilities, Audrius Ruseckas, Head of ESO’s Finance and Administration Service, has been appointed interim CEO of ESO as of 1 October 2026. The ESO Board has decided to immediately initiate the selection process for a new CEO of ESO.

ASUS Makes TIME’s World’s Best Companies 2026 List for the Third Time

TORONTO, Sept. 11, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — ASUS today announced its third appearance in TIME’s esteemed list of the World’s Best Companies. This accolade recognizes organizations that set the standard in employee satisfaction, revenue growth, and sustainability transparency. The inclusion highlights ASUS’s commitment to excellence in the IT, Electronics, Hardware, and Equipment industry, with a constant focus on people, innovation, and sustainability.

TIME’s World’s Best Companies 2026 ranking offers valuable insight into what defines corporate success today — guiding consumers, investors, and policymakers to support the world’s most forward-thinking businesses.

“We are honored that ASUS has again been recognized by TIME as one of the World’s Best Companies,” said S.Y. Hsu, ASUS Co-CEO. “This reflects the progress of our Ubiquitous AI. Incredible Possibilities strategy as we build a comprehensive AI ecosystem — from infrastructure and accelerators to AI PCs, edge applications, and real-world solutions. By uniting our innovation capabilities across the company, ASUS is turning AI into meaningful experiences that create value for customers, industries, and society.”

“We are proud to receive this recognition from TIME, which underscores our commitment to sustainable growth and responsible innovation,” said Samson Hu, ASUS Co-CEO. “Through stronger sustainability governance and initiatives such as our AI x ESG Platform, ASUS is making sustainability data more transparent, proactive, and actionable. As we advance toward our 2050 net-zero goal, we remain focused on creating long-term value for people, partners, and the planet.”

In Canada, the recognition follows a year of expansion for the local team, including the appointment of Vernon Coutinho as Country Manager in May. “We’ve built real momentum in Canada, and it comes down to the team here,” said Shawn Chang, General Manager, ASUS North America System Business Group. “Being ranked by TIME on employee satisfaction as well as growth and sustainability tells us we’re building the business the right way, and we’ll keep investing in Canadian talent to do it.”

Global Recognition and Excellence

ASUS continues to drive innovation and excellence in technology, earning global recognition for its commitment to enhancing lives and delivering incredible experiences. The company was recently recognized on Fortune’s 2026 World’s Most Admired Companies for the 11th time, listed on Forbes’ 2026 America’s Best Employers for Company Culture, and it topped Interbrand’s 2025 Best Taiwan Global Brands for the 12th time.

The revenue growth TIME recognized comes from a portfolio that runs from AI infrastructure to the devices people use every day, including Zenbook, Vivobook and ProArt AI PCs, ExpertBook commercial laptops and ROG gaming hardware. With more additions like the NVIDIA RTX Spark-powered ProArt P16 and ProArt P14 showcased this month at IFA 2026.

TIME’s World’s Best Companies 2026

TIME’s World’s Best Companies 2026 list, compiled with Statista, ranks 1,000 companies on three equally weighted dimensions: employee satisfaction, based on surveys of more than 200,000 employees worldwide; revenue growth over the past three years, both relative and absolute; and sustainability transparency, based on standardized ESG metrics such as carbon emissions intensity, CDP scores and the quality of ESG reporting.
