  • Debuts Common Room availability through Zoom and rolls out new Zoom Revenue Accelerator capabilities, Engage and Forecast, fueling the company’s vision for an AI-powered revenue OS built on customer conversations and deal intelligence

SAN JOSE, Calif., Sept. 15, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Today, Zoom Communications, Inc. (NASDAQ: ZM) introduced its vision for an AI-powered revenue OS: a unified system that connects buyer intelligence, customer conversations, and revenue execution in one platform — from the first anonymous signal through pipeline generation, conversion, and expansion.

Today, the company also announced new Zoom Revenue Accelerator capabilities, including Engage and Forecast, and the availability of Common Room by Zoom. Together, these capabilities connect buyer intelligence, conversation intelligence, outreach, and forecasting — helping go-to-market teams move from customer signal to action in one system.

“Revenue isn’t built in a single sales call. It’s built across a relationship — every signal a customer sends, every conversation a seller has, and every action that follows adds valuable context,” said Linda Lian, GM of Common Room and Zoom Revenue Accelerator at Zoom. “Bringing more of that context together can give AI a deeper understanding of the customer — what they care about, what’s happened before, and where they are in their journey. That understanding is what enables AI to help determine the right action to take next, so revenue teams can engage customers more effectively and drive growth.”

Zoom is building on an established foundation in revenue technology. Zoom customer, Barracuda Networks, reported a 15% increase in deals closed, 5% faster deal velocity, and sales reps reaching 100–140% of quota using Zoom Revenue Accelerator. Meanwhile, IDC has recognized Zoom as a Leader in its 2026 MarketScape for unified revenue orchestration.

New innovations:

  • Engage: Builds structured multichannel sales sequences across email, phone, and other tasks, prioritizes seller follow-up, and uses automated triggers to help teams reach the right prospects at scale.
  • Forecast: Turns deal-level signals into a live forecast, with drill-down from company commitments to individual opportunities.
  • ZRA Elite: Combines ZRA Premium with Engage and Forecast in a new offering for revenue teams.
  • Common Room by Zoom: Connects buyer and customer signals across the lifecycle and is now available for purchase through Zoom.

A revenue OS centered on the conversation

Countless customer conversations happen on Zoom every day that contain information that matters to a deal and a customer relationship. It’s in this context that sellers can learn quickly what a buyer cares about, the objections they raise, who is involved in a decision, what they agree to do next, and what may move an opportunity forward or stall it.

Zoom is building its revenue OS around the customer conversation, connecting what teams learn from talking to buyers to power the same tools they use to prospect, sell, follow up, and forecast.

Over time, that creates a continuous learning loop: buyer signals, outreach, conversations, actions, and deal outcomes build a deeper understanding of the customer and help teams make each interaction more relevant and determine what to do next.

Turn buyer signals into action

Common Room connects customer identity, activity, engagement, and signals from sources such as product usage, digital activity, and online communities, to help teams build a more complete understanding of people and accounts. That helps identify opportunities, prioritize accounts, spot potential expansion or churn risks, and determine the most relevant next action.

Engage turns intelligence into structured outreach across email, phone, and other channels, while giving sellers prioritized actions for who to contact and when.

Additionally, Zoom’s existing Auto Dialer (available separately) supports Engage calling tasks, while sequence analytics show teams which outreach approaches are working.

Understand where deals and the business are headed

Forecast brings deal and customer intelligence into revenue forecasting, giving leaders a real-time view of commitments, deal movement, and the opportunities behind the numbers. Leaders can drill down from the company-wide forecast to individual teams, sellers, and deals, track how they change over time, and see whether teams are on pace to hit their goals.

Revenue operations teams can configure forecast views, metrics, and calculations without engineering support, and write commitment and deal updates back to the CRM system. Because Forecast works with ZRA, leaders can evaluate the number alongside the conversation and deal history behind it, connecting customer understanding to the forecast within the revenue OS.

Revenue OS: Designed to scale with businesses

Zoom’s revenue OS allows organizations to adopt the level of intelligence and execution that fits their business, with the flexibility to grow as they scale. Zoom Revenue Accelerator is available in three tiers: Essentials, Premium, and the new Elite offering, which includes Engage and Forecast. Customers can extend their revenue OS with Common Room by Zoom for buyer and customer intelligence across the revenue lifecycle. ZRA and Common Room also remain available as standalone products. More information and pricing details can be found on Zoom.com.

ZEDEDA Edge Intelligence Platform now runs on Ambarella’s edge AI SoCs, letting enterprises deploy, secure and operate AI models on power-efficient silicon from a single control plane

Joint demonstrations with Roboflow and Liquid AI debut at the AI Infrastructure Summit 2026

SAN JOSE, Calif. and SANTA CLARA, Calif., Sept. 15, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Ambarella, Inc. (NASDAQ: AMBA), a leading developer of edge AI semiconductor solutions, and ZEDEDA, the leader in edge intelligence, today announced a strategic partnership to bring secure, cloud-orchestrated AI to the devices where the physical world meets AI: cameras, robots, vehicles, industrial systems and edge appliances.

AI silicon has advanced faster than the tools to manage it in the field. Enterprises can build powerful edge AI hardware, but deploying, updating and securing models across fleets of devices remains largely manual, slow and hard to secure. ZEDEDA’s 2026 survey of 600 IT and business leaders found that 47% of enterprises have already adopted hybrid cloud-edge architectures, and that 41% describe managing AI workloads across those environments as a challenge.

Through this collaboration, ZEDEDA’s open-source EVE-OS, governed by the Linux Foundation, now runs on Ambarella’s N1 family of edge generative AI SoCs, and ZEDEDA’s Edge Intelligence Platform can deploy, update and operate AI models directly on Ambarella’s power-efficient AI acceleration hardware. Enterprises and OEMs can now orchestrate vision models, LLMs and multimodal AI workloads on Ambarella-based systems at any scale, from a single control plane, with zero-touch security built in. This represents a significant evolution in edge computing: cloud-native software infrastructure and Physical AI inference together inside the machine, with centralized control and management retained.

The partnership unites two complementary leaders: Ambarella’s SoCs power AI perception across security cameras, robotics, automotive and industrial systems, with more than 50 million AI chips shipped cumulatively. ZEDEDA’s platform is trusted by leading Fortune 500 enterprises operating tens of thousands of edge nodes in the field. Together, the companies remove the biggest barrier to physical AI adoption: getting models onto distributed devices, keeping them current and keeping them secure, without sending trucks or exposing infrastructure.

Building on a breakout year for both companies

Today’s announcement extends the momentum both companies have built in 2026:

  • In March, ZEDEDA unveiled its Edge Intelligence Platform at NVIDIA GTC, the industry’s first platform to create, secure and operate edge and physical AI at scale, alongside Edge Intelligence Labs and Edge Intelligence Appliances.
  • In January, Ambarella launched its CV7 edge AI vision SoC at CES 2026, delivering more than 2.5x the AI performance of the prior generation on 4nm process technology, and opened its Developer Zone to broaden the Ambarella edge AI ecosystem.

This partnership connects those threads: Ambarella’s newest silicon and developer ecosystem, now operable at fleet scale through ZEDEDA Edge Intelligence Platform and edge AI ecosystem.

What the partnership delivers

  • EVE-OS validated on Ambarella N1: ZEDEDA’s open-source, Linux Foundation LF Edge-based edge operating system runs on the Ambarella N1-655, providing a secure, vendor-neutral foundation for containerized, virtualized and Kubernetes workloads on-device.
  • Model deployment from the ZEDEDA Model Hub: Ambarella-optimized AI models are deployed to Ambarella-based systems directly from ZEDEDA’s Edge Intelligence Platform, with verified inference on Ambarella’s AI acceleration engine and full observability, monitoring and lifecycle management for ongoing updates and optimization in the field.
  • A full-stack developer path: Ambarella’s edge AI platform combines proprietary AI acceleration and computer vision with its Cooper development environment: 12 edge AI SoC families supporting more than 200 AI model architectures in customer production and now orchestrated at fleet scale by ZEDEDA.
  • Developer kits, ready out of the box: Development kits featuring Ambarella technology with EVE-OS preinstalled are expected to become available through Ambarella’s DevZone, so developers and system integrators can go from unboxing to orchestrated Physical AI deployment in minutes.
  • An open ecosystem path: The companies are working with ISVs, system integrators and hardware partners to deliver full-stack edge AI solutions, and will explore deeper participation in the LF Edge ecosystem, of which ZEDEDA is a founding member.

A phased path to enterprise scale

IDC forecasts that worldwide edge computing spending will approach $360 billion by 2027, and a growing share is going toward systems that run AI inference on the device and on edge AI boxes. To address this market, the companies have defined a five-phase strategic roadmap, and—contingent on customer adoption and on the companies electing to proceed—the roadmap includes deployments reaching hundreds of thousands of managed edge nodes across more than one hundred enterprises, with associated Ambarella revenue that could exceed hundreds of millions of dollars over a 5-7 year period. These figures represent agreed-upon planning objectives rather than minimum revenue commitments, purchase obligations or guaranteed forecasts.

The collaboration initially focuses on use cases where AI must operate locally with low latency, high reliability and constrained power budgets, including robotics and autonomous machines, industrial automation and machine vision, intelligent cameras and smart infrastructure, automotive and mobility, retail and logistics, and connected industrial equipment.

See it live at AI Infra Summit 2026

The companies will showcase the integration at the AI Infra Summit, September 15-17 at the Santa Clara Convention Center, where Ambarella is a Diamond Sponsor. Running on the Ambarella N1-655 platform, the demonstration will show how enterprises can create, package and deploy a custom solution blueprint to an Ambarella cluster, with the Ambarella YOLOX AI model automatically pulled from the ZEDEDA Model Hub and made available to the runtime at startup. Ecosystem partners Roboflow and Liquid AI will showcase computer vision and language models running on Ambarella silicon in the same demonstration, orchestrated by ZEDEDA.

The companies will also demonstrate Kubernetes-based AI workloads running on Ambarella CV7, illustrating how sophisticated cloud-native workloads can be orchestrated directly inside highly power-efficient intelligent edge devices — including camera-class systems. This represents a significant evolution in edge computing: bringing cloud-native software infrastructure and Physical AI inference together inside the machine while retaining centralized control and management.

Executive quotes

“AI is moving into the physical world, and the hard part was never training models. It’s operating them securely and reliably on millions of devices in the field,” said Said Ouissal, founder and CEO of ZEDEDA. “Ambarella has built an exceptional AI compute platform for the physical world. By combining Ambarella silicon with EVE-OS and ZEDEDA Edge Intelligence Platform, we can give developers and enterprises a cloud-like experience for deploying and operating AI across fleets of intelligent machines. This is an important step toward making Physical AI operational at scale.”

“Physical AI is moving intelligence from the cloud into machines that perceive, understand and act in the real world,” said Muneyb Minhazuddin, Chief Growth Officer at Ambarella. “Ambarella provides the AI compute platform that makes this possible within extremely power-constrained devices, while ZEDEDA provides the cloud-like infrastructure to securely deploy, orchestrate, observe and manage that intelligence at scale. Together, we are creating a powerful foundation for the next generation of intelligent cameras, robots, vehicles and industrial machines.”

Availability

EVE-OS support for the Ambarella N1-655 is available now for early access customers. Validated Ambarella solution blueprints and optimized models in the ZEDEDA Model Hub, and development kits with EVE-OS preinstalled, are expected to be available in Q4 2026. The companies are currently extending the integration with Ambarella hardware observability and direct Model Hub deployment, creating a path toward repeatable, fleet-scale deployment of Physical AI applications. New capabilities built on Google Cloud Platform and Gemini Enterprise give developers a cloud-hosted IDE and remote access to live Ambarella silicon

Recent collaborations add models from leading providers including Ultralytics

An integration with ZEDEDA enables deploying and managing AI workloads across distributed device fleets

SANTA CLARA, Calif., Sept. 15, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Ambarella, Inc. (NASDAQ: AMBA), an edge AI semiconductor company, today announced a significant expansion of the Ambarella Developer Zone (“DevZone”), adding a cloud-hosted integrated development environment (IDE), secure access to cloud-connected fleets of Ambarella SoC-based devices and agentic AI development capabilities powered by Gemini Enterprise, all delivered on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Recently announced collaborations with ZEDEDA and AI model providers including Ultralytics extend the same environment through model selection and fleet-scale deployment.

Ambarella launched DevZone at CES 2026 as an early-access program, bringing together the Cooper™ Model Garden, agentic blueprints, developer kits, documentation and technical resources at ambarella.com/developer. Hundreds of developers at enterprise customers, ISVs and OEM partners have engaged with the platform since launch, and the expansion announced today extends DevZone from evaluation into daily development work and into production deployment.

Cloud-Hosted Development and Live Device Sessions

The cloud-hosted IDE provides immediate access to Ambarella SDKs, documentation, optimized models and sample projects without local installation or configuration. From the same environment, developers can request a session on a cloud-connected fleet of Ambarella-based devices and run their build on live silicon, with latency, throughput and power measured under real-world operating conditions on the target hardware. These capabilities are available to early-access participants today, with developers onboarded in stages as the connected device fleet expands.

Agentic AI Development Capabilities

Agentic AI capabilities powered by Gemini Enterprise support developers throughout the development lifecycle, assisting with coding, documentation search, troubleshooting, workflow automation and application development. These capabilities complement the low-code and no-code agentic blueprints already available in DevZone for building the multi-agent workflows that Physical AI systems run in practice.

The expanded platform provides developers with:

  • A cloud-hosted development environment with immediate access to Ambarella tools, software and resources
  • Secure access to cloud-connected fleets of Ambarella-based devices for remote testing, validation and performance optimization in real-world conditions
  • Agentic AI development capabilities powered by Gemini Enterprise that accelerate coding, documentation, workflow automation, troubleshooting and application development
  • A cloud-to-edge workflow spanning prototyping, testing, deployment and lifecycle management of AI applications
  • Integration with Google Cloud Platform services to support scalable development, collaboration and deployment

“Developers evaluating an embedded AI platform need to see their own models and their own data running on the target silicon, and the time required to reach that point often determines how quickly a program moves forward,” said Muneyb Minhazuddin, Customer Growth Officer at Ambarella. “The expanded Developer Zone removes the setup work and the hardware procurement that has traditionally preceded that milestone. Our partner collaborations extend the same environment through deployment and fleet management, so that a team can carry an application from a first experiment to a managed installed base without changing tools.”

Expanding the Developer Ecosystem

The expansion also reflects Ambarella’s continued commitment to an open and collaborative AI ecosystem, with recently announced collaborations extending what developers can build within DevZone.

Ambarella and Ultralytics have partnered to support Ultralytics YOLO models on Ambarella CVflow®-powered devices, giving developers a widely adopted computer vision model family on silicon designed for the power and thermal constraints under which edge products operate. The collaboration covers object detection, instance segmentation, image classification, pose estimation and oriented bounding box detection. Ambarella is also working with other model providers on generative models that support reasoning and decision-making on the device.

ZEDEDA pairs EVE-OS, the open-source edge operating system governed by the Linux Foundation, with its Edge Intelligence Platform, enabling AI workloads to be deployed, managed, monitored and updated across distributed fleets. Developers can now load EVE-OS onto supported Ambarella SoCs.

Common Architecture Across the SoC Portfolio

Development work carried out in DevZone transfers across the portfolio, because every Ambarella AI processor shares the CVflow architecture and the Cooper Developer Platform, allowing perception software, AI models and development workflows to move across silicon generations and performance tiers with minimal rework. Ambarella currently has 12 edge AI SoC families that support more than 200 AI model architectures in customer production, on an installed base of more than 50 million AI SoC units.

Availability and Demonstrations

The expanded Ambarella Developer Zone is being rolled out now and is expected to be generally available in Q1 2027 at ambarella.com/developer. Ambarella and ZEDEDA will demonstrate the integration at the AI Infrastructure Summit. Running on an Ambarella N1-655 platform, the demonstration shows a custom solution blueprint created, packaged and deployed to an Ambarella cluster, with the Ambarella YOLOX model pulled automatically from the ZEDEDA Edge Intelligence Platform Model Hub and made available to the runtime at startup.

New edge AI accelerator brings Ambarella’s third-generation CVflow® engine to Arm and x86 host systems

Leading OEMs in several key verticals are currently creating designs with X7

SANTA CLARA, Calif., Sept. 15, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Ambarella, Inc. (NASDAQ: AMBA), an edge AI semiconductor company, today announced the X7 edge AI accelerator, its first dedicated CVflow® AI accelerator chip. X7 serves as an AI co-processor for Arm and x86 host processors, adding or expanding AI capabilities in a system without a redesign of the underlying platform.

Existing installations of cameras, gateways or industrial controllers often have limited AI capabilities, or none at all, but may have years of operating life remaining. Owners and operators of these older deployments are now requesting AI features that were unavailable when the hardware was built. Millions of systems working in the physical world fall into this category. X7 is intended for OEMs and system builders responsible for that existing installed base, and for teams validating new AI features before committing resources toward a next-generation redesign. For physical AI, a category describing machines that perceive, reason and act in the physical world, X7 allows these machines to gain intelligence over their lifetimes.

“Many of our customers’ systems in the field were designed before the AI workloads their end users now expect were possible,” said Fermi Wang, President and CEO of Ambarella. “X7 brings the same third-generation CVflow engine that runs in more than 50 million of our AI SoCs to platforms our customers have already deployed at scale. Our integrated SoCs remain the strongest choice when a team is designing the entire system around AI, while X7 extends the same engine to every other scenario, whether the platform is already in the field or still being prototyped.”

Power, thermal limits and system cost

A camera or an inspection system that once ran a single detection model now runs several simultaneously, often combining conventional computer vision, vision-language models and a natural-language interface. Whether AI features like these can successfully operate in an embedded product depends on inflexible factors such as power, thermal headroom, latency and system cost. In current customer designs, X7 operates within a power envelope between 2 and 5 watts, allowing the accelerator to run within a platform’s existing constraints, maintain the enclosure size, and avoid unnecessary increases to the current bill of materials. X7 supports CNNs, vision transformers, multimodal transformers and hybrid networks using the same CVflow computer vision and deep learning processor Ambarella integrates into its SoCs.

How X7 integrates into a host system

X7 is a host-agnostic accelerator, connecting to the host over a single lane of PCIe Gen 3 or over USB 3.2 and appearing to the system as a standard PCIe device. The host can also be one of Ambarella’s own SoCs, so a customer shipping an Ambarella-based product today has a path to improved AI performance for a given workload without a board redesign.

Software, tools and model support

X7 is supported by the Cooper™ Developer Platform, the same environment that serves every Ambarella AI SoC, including the compiler, quantization and profiling tools, the C++ and Python runtime APIs, and the scheduling and memory management that multi-model pipelines require. Models from the Cooper Model Garden in the Ambarella Developer Zone are designed to run on the X7 accelerator as well, with the same documentation, sample code and engineering support Ambarella provides to its SoC customers.

Because X7 shares the CVflow architecture with the overall Ambarella SoC portfolio, a model or perception pipeline built for one of the company’s SoCs is designed to carry forward to X7 without requiring a software rewrite, following the same path used when a product line moves to a next-generation integrated SoC. The CVflow architecture is now in its third generation. Ambarella has been building neural processing into its silicon since 2015, and its AI processors number more than 50 million operating in the field today.

XCalibur reference design

XCalibur is Ambarella’s reference design and development platform for X7. A standard 2280 M.2 card with LPDDR5 memory and PCIe throughput above 840 MB/s, XCalibur can process several video streams and AI models simultaneously. Ambarella intends to make the complete XCalibur design files available to customers, enabling an OEM or ODM to move from evaluation to a production module on the same design.

Markets, channels and availability

Target applications include retail and physical security, industrial inspection and manufacturing, mobile robots and drones, intelligent transportation and critical infrastructure, and enterprise edge systems such as kiosks, point-of-sale terminals, gateways and on-premise AI appliances. X7 also opens markets for new designs built around a host processor from another supplier, as well as designs built on an Ambarella SoC that require additional AI performance. The X7 product is not specific to cameras and serves a wide variety of digital and physical data modalities, which makes it suitable for edge-infrastructure inference systems and for endpoints such as robots.

Ambarella is bringing X7 to market through the company’s direct sales channels as well as the indirect channels established via its relationships with Capgemini and Macnica announced on September 3, 2026. Capgemini works with large enterprises on complex deployments, while Macnica covers small and midsized customers, independent software vendors, OEMs, ODMs and systems integrators across the Americas and EMEA.

X7 is sampling now, and XCalibur evaluation kits are available to qualified customers. Ambarella will discuss X7 in further detail at the AI Infrastructure Summit, September 15-17 at the Santa Clara Convention Center.

About Ambarella

With an installed base of more than 50 million AI SoC units, Ambarella’s products are utilized in a wide variety of physical edge AI applications, spanning edge endpoint and edge infrastructure use cases including physical security, vehicle safety, telematics, autonomy, portable video, aerial drones, and other emerging robotic applications. Building on this footprint, Ambarella offers a full-stack edge AI platform, from highly optimized silicon and programmable software to AI agentic frameworks that coordinate perception, decision-making and control across devices. Ambarella’s low-power systems-on-chip (SoCs) integrate proprietary and highly efficient perception and deep learning neural network AI accelerators, enabling electronic systems to become more productive with partial or complete levels of machine autonomy.
