Agreement brings together RAYEL’s scientific foundation, KRTL’s U.S. commercialization strategy and expanding regulatory, API and research capabilities

Lakewood, CO, Oct. 05, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — KRTL Holding Group Inc. (OTC: KRTL) (“KRTL” or the “Company”) today announced that its wholly owned subsidiaries, KRTL International Corp. and KRTL Biotech Inc., have executed a definitive strategic partnership agreement with CENTRO DE INVESTIGACIONES QUIMICAS, S.R.L. (“CIQ”) for the continued development and commercialization of the RAYEL platform.

The agreement marks an important transition for RAYEL. What began under a Memorandum of Understanding now moves into a binding framework designed to support U.S. commercialization, manufacturing evaluation, strategic partnerships, regulatory coordination, capital development and additional potential applications for the platform.

For KRTL, the timing is significant. The Company has been building the pieces around RAYEL – strengthening its U.S. regulatory and pharmaceutical/API capabilities, organizing the platform’s technical and commercial record, developing potential partner pathways and opening discussions with universities regarding potential research collaboration.

KRTL Holding Group management stated: “This agreement brings together work that has been developing on several fronts. We have CIQ’s scientific and technical foundation, a defined U.S. commercialization strategy, growing regulatory and API expertise through KRTL Biotech, and active discussions with universities. We can now begin bringing those pieces together around RAYEL and evaluating where the platform has the strongest opportunity to advance.”

The Platform and the Path

Under the agreement, KRTL will lead the U.S. commercialization pathway for RAYEL, while CIQ continues its scientific and technical role. The parties will coordinate strategy and make material project decisions together.

KRTL and CIQ are evaluating multiple potential uses and commercial pathways for RAYEL.

The platform has a documented beverage-facing TTB pathway for its documented product scope, while the parties are also evaluating how RAYEL could be developed across additional pharmaceutical/API-oriented and other potential applications.

Rather than building RAYEL around a single prospective market, KRTL intends to evaluate where the platform, its scientific record and future research may have the strongest commercial fit.

The Opportunity Around RAYEL

That strategy is taking shape against a growing global market for plant-derived extracts.

MarketsandMarkets estimates the global plant extracts market at approximately $47.54 billion in 2025 and projects it to reach $85.28 billion by 2030, representing a 12.4% compound annual growth rate. The market spans applications including food and beverages, pharmaceuticals, dietary supplements and cosmetics. Source: MarketsandMarkets

KRTL has been working to build the capabilities needed to evaluate RAYEL within that broader environment.

Through KRTL Biotech, the Company engaged Justin Abril as President-Designate and Strategic Regulatory & API Consultant, adding experience in regulatory strategy, pharmaceutical/API development planning, API/CMC documentation, controlled-substance compliance planning, import/export pathway review and partner diligence.

KRTL is also in active discussions with universities regarding potential research collaboration related to RAYEL, creating another potential avenue for scientific and technical development around the platform.

Put together, the strategy is becoming clearer: CIQ provides the scientific and technical foundation; KRTL is building the commercial, regulatory, research and partner-development infrastructure around it; and the definitive agreement provides the framework for those efforts to move forward together.

What Comes Next

The focus now turns to translating that framework into qualified opportunities.

KRTL and CIQ will continue developing the RAYEL technical and commercial record while evaluating research, manufacturing, strategic and commercial relationships in the United States. As individual opportunities mature, they can move into project-specific agreements appropriate to the particular pathway.

KRTL management added: “Signing the agreement is a milestone, but what matters now is what we build from it. Our focus is getting RAYEL in front of the right researchers, technical groups, manufacturers and commercial partners and allowing the science, the documentation and the market opportunity to guide where we go next.”

Any regulated manufacturing, controlled-substance handling, testing, importation, formulation, pharmaceutical/API development or distribution would be performed through appropriately qualified and authorized external parties.

VANCOUVER, British Columbia, Oct. 05, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — AnorTech Inc. (“AnorTech” or the “Company”) (TSX Venture Exchange “ANOR”; OTCQB “ANORF”) is pleased to announce that Greenland Mines Ltd. (“Greenland Mines”) (Nasdaq: GRML) has exercised in full its option under the share exchange agreement between the two companies (the “Agreement”) (see NR2026-04) to acquire an additional 25,168,669 common shares of AnorTech (the “AnorTech Shares”) at a deemed price of C$0.30 per share (the “Transaction”). On closing of the Transaction (“Closing”), Greenland Mines’ ownership will double from approximately 9.9% to approximately 19.9% of AnorTech’s issued and outstanding common shares, establishing Greenland Mines as a major strategic shareholder.

In exchange for the AnorTech Shares, Greenland Mines will issue common shares with a deemed value of approximately US$5,298,000 (C$7,550,600) of its common shares (the “Greenland Mines Shares”) to AnorTech giving AnorTech a meaningful position in a Nasdaq-listed company and increased access to US markets. The exact number of the Greenland Mines Shares will be based on the 10-day volume-weighted average trading price ending immediately before Closing of Greenland Mines’ common shares on Nasdaq at the time of closing.

Jim Cambon, President of AnorTech, commented:

“Greenland Mines’ decision to exercise its option in full is a strong endorsement of what we are building at AnorTech. Greenland Mines understands the value we are creating from Greenland anorthosite and its exciting future as a key component in the aluminum critical mineral supply chain and as the primary material for lunar project development. We are moving our smelter grade alumina and high purity aluminum technologies towards commercialization while continuing to advance our anorthosite lunar applications with successful test programs on both 3D-printable and refractory cements. We are working with a number of groups in the space industry who are using our anorthosite as a lunar simulant and we expect this sector to grow as lunar programs ramp up. We look forward to maximizing the synergies between our companies and working with Greenland Mines as a strategic shareholder as we advance our lunar materials, smelter grade alumina and high purity alumina programs.”

Bo Møller Stensgaard, President of Greenland Mines, commented:

“In June we said this investment was about moving into the midstream of the critical-materials value chain. Since then, it has become clear that AnorTech’s anorthosite is also relevant to a value chain that is about to grow significantly — the industrial supply chain of the Moon. The lunar highlands, where future space missions are planned to land, are comprised largely of anorthosite. Every landing pad, habitat wall, radiation shield and tonne of aluminum that will one day be produced from lunar regolith starts with the same rock AnorTech is developing at Gronne Bjerg.

Doubling our position gives Greenland Mines shareholders exposure to zero-waste smelter grade alumina and high purity alumina on Earth and to the materials science of building the Moon with the Moon itself. Aluminum is designated as a critical metal in the United States and Canada and AnorTech’s alumina could support both the aluminum smelters in the United States and semiconductor manufacturers who require high purity alumina. Greenland’s strategic importance to the United States and its allies was underscored by the security agreement signed by the United States, Denmark and Greenland on September 22, 2026; we believe AnorTech’s anorthosite is strategically important a great deal further from home too.”

Transaction Terms

The option to increase Greenland Mines’ ownership of AnorTech to 19.9% was granted under the share exchange agreement between Greenland Mines and AnorTech dated June 15, 2026 and announced on June 16, 2026. Under that agreement, Greenland Mines acquired its initial 19,958,503 AnorTech shares, and AnorTech announced completion of that transaction on June 30, 2026. On Closing, Greenland Mines will hold 45,127,172 AnorTech shares representing approximately 19.9% of AnorTech’s issued and outstanding share capital. The AnorTech Shares will be subject to a contractual lock-up period of 60 months from the date of issuance.

The Greenland Mines Shares issued to AnorTech will be subject to a contractual lock-up period as to one-half of the Greenland Mines Shares for 12 months from Closing and a contractual lock-up period as to the remaining one-half of the Greenland Mines Shares for 24 months from Closing. AnorTech currently owns 318,000 shares of Greenland Mines from previous transactions (see NR2026-04 and NR2026-06).

Closing is subject to customary closing conditions, including acceptance by the TSX Venture Exchange (the “TSXV”). No finder’s fee is being paid in connection with the Transaction.

NEW YORK, Oct. 05, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Taboola (Nasdaq: TBLA), a global leader in delivering performance at scale for advertisers, today announced a new report, The Data Advantage, highlighting significant shifts and challenges that today’s advertisers face when running campaigns.

Today’s advertisers are faced with a fragmented consumer journey that stretches across devices, channels, with a single purchase decision running across mail, news, search, price aggregators, and increasingly LLMs. U.S. adults spend nearly 13 hours a day with media, on the way to purchase.

The Data Advantage reveals insights about how advertisers are approaching this shift. Key findings include:

  • Advertiser budgets are rising nearly 10% in the quest to reach new audiences, with 30% citing new audiences as a top priority for additional budget allocation.
  • Despite this objective, an overwhelming majority (81%) of advertisers are failing to reach new audiences and instead rely on repeatedly targeting the same audience segments, however.
  • Advertisers say identity fragmentation across pre-conversion touchpoints forces them back into recycled audience pools. 75% of advertisers face difficulty in recognizing the same non-converting customer across multiple touchpoints.
  • Advertisers want to diversify spending beyond walled gardens, with 81% open to increasing ad spend across channels like publishers and news sites, if identity challenges are solved.

“As customer journeys become increasingly fragmented, brands and agencies must understand true purchase intent at the crucial moment of choice,” said Adam Singolda, CEO at Taboola. “Outside closed ecosystems, advertisers face a significant identity blind spot, and by relying on recycled audiences on walled gardens, they miss many opportunities. Unlocking identity and measurement on the open web allows brands to break free from targeting ruts and connect with valuable, untapped audiences.”

The Data Advantage surveyed more than 300 senior marketing and advertising leaders working for companies with more than 1,000 employees and a monthly marketing spend of $300,000 or more.

AS Tallinna Sadam (hereinafter Tallinna Sadam) and TT-Line GmbH (hereinafter TT-Line) have signed an agreement for the operation of a vessel on the Muuga (Estonia)–Vuosaari (Finland) route. The route will be served by a ro-pax ferry with around 2 000 freight lanemeters and a restaurant/café, a passenger lounge and other facilities for passengers and truckdrivers as well as cabins. The vessel used is intended to be announced in November. The vessel is expected to start operating on the route during the first quarter of 2027, with the exact launch date to be confirmed.

The Muuga–Vuosaari ferry connection is of strategic importance for freight transport between Estonia and Finland. It provides logistics and transport companies with a fast maritime route and helps divert trucks and trailers away from the city centres of Tallinn and Helsinki. The connection supports the competitiveness of Estonia’s export-oriented economy by improving companies’ access to Finnish and, more broadly, Nordic markets. At the same time, it strengthens the position of Estonia and Muuga harbour as a key north-south transport and transit corridor, linking Finland to the Baltic states and, subsequently, to Central and Southern Europe.

The regular ferry route between the cargo harbours operated by the ports of Tallinn and Helsinki was launched in 2017 and has been served by both Tallink and Eckerö Line. Currently, the route is operated by Eckerö Line with the vessel Finbo Cargo.

“Freight volumes on the Muuga–Vuosaari route have grown steadily over the years and are now approaching the limits of what can be handled with a single vessel. This clearly demonstrates market demand for additional capacity and more frequent departures. The addition of a second operator will provide customers with greater choice and flexibility, strengthen the reliability of the connection and support further growth in trade between Estonia and Finland,” said Rene Pärt, Member of the Management Board of Tallinna Sadam.

The agreement will contribute to the port’s revenues through vessel call, cargo and passenger fees, while enabling more efficient use of existing infrastructure.

TT-Line is a family-owned shipping company established in 1962 in Germany.  Its fleet consists of 9 ro-pax vessels. The company’s core business is the transport of passengers, passenger vehicles and freight, connecting Germany,Sweden, Poland and Lithuania and serving routes that include the ports of Travemünde, Rostock, Trelleborg, Karlshamn, Świnoujście and Klaipėda.

Tallinna Sadam is one of the largest cargo- and passenger port complexes in the Baltic Sea region. In addition to passenger and freight services, Tallinna Sadam group also operates in shipping business via its subsidiaries – OÜ TS Laevad provides ferry services between the Estonian mainland and the largest islands, and OÜ TS Shipping charters its multifunctional vessel Botnica for icebreaking and offshore services in Estonia and projects abroad. Tallinna Sadam group is also a shareholder of an associate AS Green Marine, which provides waste management services.
