About Climb Bio, Inc.
Climb Bio, Inc. is a clinical-stage biotechnology company with a mission to deliver high impact, disease-modifying medicines for individuals living with immune-mediated diseases, including those affecting kidney health. The Company’s pipeline includes, budoprutug, an anti-CD19 monoclonal antibody that has potential to treat a broad range of B-cell mediated diseases, and CLYM116, an anti-APRIL monoclonal antibody being developed for IgA nephropathy. For more information, please visit climbbio.com.

About CLYM116
CLYM116 is a clinical-stage monoclonal antibody targeting APRIL (A Proliferation-Inducing Ligand), a key driver of pathogenic B-cell activity in autoimmune diseases. CLYM116 employs a novel pH-dependent bind-and-release ‘sweeper’ mechanism to potently block APRIL signaling, promote lysosomal degradation of APRIL, and recycle the antibody to extend its half-life. This differentiated design offers the potential for rapid, deep, and durable inhibition of APRIL with a favorable safety profile and less frequent dosing. CLYM116 is being advanced for the treatment of IgA nephropathy (IgAN) and may also have broader utility across other B-cell mediated diseases where APRIL plays a critical role.

About Budoprutug
Budoprutug is a clinical-stage, anti-CD19 monoclonal antibody with the potential to address a broad range of B-cell mediated, immune-driven diseases. Designed with enhanced effector function and low picomolar affinity, budoprutug targets and depletes CD19-expressing B cells, including plasmablasts and certain plasma cells, key sources of pathogenic autoantibodies. Early clinical data suggest budoprutug may offer durable B-cell depletion, rapid reductions in autoantibodies, and clinical remission in primary membranous nephropathy (pMN). Budoprutug is being evaluated in clinical trials for pMN, immune thrombocytopenia (ITP), and systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE). A subcutaneous formulation is also in development to enable broader patient access. Budoprutug has been granted Orphan Drug Designation and Fast Track Designation by the FDA for the treatment of pMN.

TORONTO, Oct. 02, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Matador Technologies Inc. (“Matador” or the “Company”) (TSXV:MATA)(OTCQB:MATAF)(FSE:IU3), the Bitcoin Ecosystem Company, today provided a corporate update summarizing developments in its capital structure, operations and governance since the beginning of its 2026 fiscal year on November 1, 2025.

During that period, the Company issued US$10.5 million principal amount of senior secured convertible notes under a US$100 million facility and used the proceeds to acquire 92 Bitcoin, established a C$80 million base shelf prospectus and a C$30 million at the market equity program qualified under that shelf, and reduced its cash operating expenditures to a current estimated average of approximately C$125,000 per month, with a target of approximately C$100,000 per month. Matador holds approximately 168 Bitcoin as its primary treasury asset. All dollar figures in this news release are stated in Canadian dollars unless otherwise indicated.

Bitcoin Treasury and Capital Structure

As at the date of this news release, Matador holds approximately 168 Bitcoin as its primary treasury asset, with approximately 138 Bitcoin held as collateral under the Company’s US$100 million secured convertible note facility (the “Facility”) and the senior secured convertible notes issued under it (the “Notes”).

Matador is structured as a leveraged Bitcoin treasury company that funds its Bitcoin holdings through a combination of common equity and secured convertible debt. Because a portion of the Company’s Bitcoin was acquired with borrowed capital, a change in the price of Bitcoin can have a proportionally larger effect on the Company’s net asset value attributable to common shareholders than on the value of the Bitcoin itself. This effect operates in both directions and can magnify losses as well as gains. The actual effect in any period will depend on factors including the Company’s operating costs, the cost of its debt and any issuances of common shares. The market price of the Company’s common shares may not reflect its net asset value at any given time.

Capital Markets Framework

The Company has assembled a set of capital markets tools intended to allow it to raise capital efficiently and to acquire additional Bitcoin when management considers that market conditions and its cost of capital make doing so accretive to Bitcoin held per share, while retaining the flexibility not to issue securities when they do not.

On December 22, 2025, the Ontario Securities Commission issued a final receipt for the Company’s C$80 million short form base shelf prospectus, which is effective for 25 months from that date. On February 3, 2026, the Company established an at the market equity program (the “ATM Program”) pursuant to an equity distribution agreement with ATB Cormark Capital Markets, permitting the Company to offer and sell common shares for aggregate gross proceeds of up to C$30 million at prevailing market prices on the TSX Venture Exchange (the “Exchange”). From the commencement of the ATM Program on February 4, 2026 to October 1, 2026:

  • Common shares issued: 49,054,400
  • Weighted average price per share: $0.0478
  • Aggregate gross proceeds: $2,343,564.35
  • Net proceeds: $2,233,171.24

Net proceeds from the ATM Program have been used for the purchase of Bitcoin, in support of the Company’s Bitcoin yield generation strategy, and for general working capital purposes.

The Facility has been amended twice during the period. A waiver and amendment agreement dated February 3, 2026 permitted the ATM Program under the terms of the Facility. Amendment No. 2, announced on August 17, 2026, introduced an alternative definition of a permitted at the market offering which, prior to any listing on a US senior exchange, removes the aggregate proceeds cap, pricing floor and daily volume limitations that previously applied to at the market issuances conducted under the Company’s Canadian shelf prospectus documents. In exchange, an amount equal to 10 percent of the net proceeds of each qualifying sale is applied to the purchase of Bitcoin, which is deposited as additional collateral under the Facility.

Proposed Preferred Share Class

As announced by the Company on August 28, 2026, the Exchange conditionally accepted, on August 25, 2026, a proposed amendment to the Company’s articles to create a new class of an unlimited number of preferred shares (the “Preferred Shares”). The amendment is presented to shareholders as Resolution #5 in the Company’s management information circular, and shareholder approval will be requested at the annual general and special meeting of shareholders to be held on October 14, 2026. The amendment remains subject to that approval and to final acceptance by the Exchange.

The Company has no current plans to issue Preferred Shares. Certain larger Bitcoin treasury companies, including Strategy Inc. (NASDAQ: MSTR), have used preferred equity as part of their capital structures, and the Company considers it prudent to have that option available. Because an amendment to the Company’s articles requires shareholder approval, which is ordinarily sought at the Company’s annual meeting, the Company will request that approval at the October 14, 2026 meeting so that the board of directors will have the flexibility to consider preferred equity in the future, should circumstances warrant, without waiting for a subsequent annual meeting. Any future issuance of Preferred Shares would require the approval of the board of directors and specific approval of the Exchange.

Cost Optimization and Operating Efficiency

Since the beginning of fiscal 2026, the Company has reviewed its operating cost structure and implemented several measures to reduce costs and improve efficiency. The Company has restructured its executive and consulting agreements and terminated certain consulting engagements that were no longer considered necessary. The Company has also adopted artificial intelligence based tools internally to automate certain tasks and to perform work that was previously carried out by external advisors, allowing more of its finance, reporting and administrative functions to be completed internally on a more efficient basis.

As a result of these measures, management estimates that the Company’s cash operating expenditures currently average approximately C$125,000 per month. This figure is an unaudited management estimate, is not a measure recognized under IFRS, and may vary from month to month, including as a result of non-recurring professional fees and costs associated with the Company’s financing activities. By comparison, net cash used in operating activities for the fiscal year ended October 31, 2025, as reported in the Company’s audited annual financial statements, was C$5,337,072, or an average of approximately C$445,000 per month. Expenditures in that period reflected the cost of establishing Matador as a public issuer and building the capital markets framework now available to it, including the reverse takeover completed on December 9, 2024, the Company’s change of business to a hybrid issuer and the professional work required to put its shelf prospectus and equity distribution arrangements in place. The Company continues to review its cost structure on a continuous basis and to look for further opportunities to operate more leanly, with the objective of reducing average monthly cash operating expenditures to approximately C$100,000. Management intends to continue optimizing the Company’s cost base beyond the reductions achieved to date, although there can be no assurance as to the amount or timing of any further reductions. Management’s objective is a lean, low cost treasury company with a durable long term business model that is better positioned to maintain its Bitcoin position through periods of price volatility.

Bitcoin Yield Generation and GODL, a Gold Asset Treasury Company

Matador conducts a Bitcoin yield generation strategy in collaboration with Galaxy Digital Holdings Ltd. (“Galaxy”) pursuant to an ISDA Agreement, principally through the systematic execution of covered calls, alongside other supplementary options and yield generation strategies facilitated by Galaxy. Premium income from the strategy is not dependent on an increase in the price of Bitcoin, although Bitcoin allocated to the strategy remains exposed to price movements and may be called away at strike prices below prevailing market prices. Premium income varies with market conditions, and there can be no assurance as to the amount of premium income in any future period.

GODL is being organized as a pure-play gold treasury company. GODL intends to acquire physical gold and gold-backed tokens and to measure its progress principally by reference to gold ounces per share (“GOPS”), being gold ounces held divided by fully diluted shares outstanding. GODL also intends to pursue a gold yield strategy, principally through specialist gold leasing, the writing of covered calls and, as that market develops, the lending of tokenized gold, with the objective of generating a positive net yield after costs that would be reinvested in additional gold in order to increase GOPS over time. There can be no assurance that GODL will generate a positive net yield in any period.

Matador has developed technology for the tokenization of gold and intends to monetize that technology by licensing it to GODL. Matador and GODL have negotiated a form of licence agreement (the “Licence”) under which GODL would be permitted to use Matador’s gold tokenization intellectual property to create, issue and manage tokenized gold products. The Licence has not been executed and its terms remain subject to change.

Under the arrangement as currently contemplated, Matador would receive a combination of cash consideration and common shares of GODL in connection with the closing of GODL’s first financing. Any shares received would be held by Matador and reflected in its net asset value, subject to the valuation and liquidity limitations that apply to a holding in a private company. The final terms, including the amount and form of consideration payable to Matador, may differ from those currently contemplated. The Licence and the transactions contemplated by it remain subject to Exchange approval and other regulatory requirements, and there can be no assurance that they will be completed or as to the value of any consideration Matador may receive.

The corporate structure by which GODL is established and taken public, and GODL’s legal name, remain under consideration and are subject to tax, regulatory and other considerations. Matador’s intention is to monetize its gold tokenization technology through this arrangement, which reflects the Company’s plans as at the date of this news release. The structure ultimately implemented may differ from the arrangement currently contemplated. In any structure, Matador intends that the value created through the monetization of its gold tokenization technology accrue to Matador shareholders. That value may be retained by Matador and reflected in its net asset value, or delivered to shareholders directly, including by way of a dividend or other distribution of securities. The manner and timing of any distribution to shareholders have not been determined and would be subject to the receipt of any required regulatory, Exchange and shareholder approvals. There can be no assurance that any distribution will be made.

GODL is also planning an equity financing and a subsequent public listing on a Canadian stock exchange. The structure, size, pricing and timing of any such financing and listing have not been determined and would remain subject to market conditions, the receipt of regulatory, exchange and shareholder approvals and the satisfaction of other conditions. There can be no assurance that GODL will complete a financing or obtain a listing on the terms contemplated, within the timeframe contemplated, or at all. This news release does not constitute an offer to sell or the solicitation of an offer to buy any securities of GODL.

Hybrid Issuer Status

Matador is classified by the Exchange as a hybrid technology and investment issuer, which permits the Company to make investments in addition to carrying on its technology activities. Under its investment policy, the Company may invest in any industry, with a focus on the Bitcoin, cryptocurrency and precious metals sectors. Potential investments may include digital assets, securities of public and private companies, precious metals, credit products, derivatives, exchange traded funds and other financial instruments, subject to the restrictions in that policy. Bitcoin remains the Company’s primary treasury asset and the principal focus of its capital allocation.

Leadership

Geoff St. Clair, who had served as Vice President, Finance since the Company’s inception, was appointed Chief Financial Officer effective March 26, 2026. Effective July 16, 2026, Donato Sferra, a co-founder and director of the Company, was appointed Chief Executive Officer, and Deven Soni was appointed Executive Chairman.

Outlook

Management believes that Bitcoin has the potential to serve as a long term store of value and reserve asset, and that its role within the global financial system will continue to develop. Matador is intended to provide investors with a publicly listed vehicle through which to obtain exposure to Bitcoin, with that exposure amplified by the Company’s capital structure and supplemented by its yield generation activities. Management intends to pair that exposure with a lean, low cost operating structure, with the objective of building a durable long term business that can maintain its Bitcoin position through periods of price volatility. These are management’s views and are not a prediction of future Bitcoin prices or a guarantee of the Company’s performance. The price of Bitcoin has historically been highly volatile, and an investment in the Company carries risks that differ from, and may be greater than, those of holding Bitcoin directly.

Donato Sferra, Chief Executive Officer of Matador, commented: “Matador’s capital structure reflects a clear view on Bitcoin, and we are open about the fact that it works in both directions. Over the past year we have put the tools in place to add Bitcoin when our cost of capital allows it, and we have brought the cost of running the Company down to a level that matches the business we are today. We are pleased with that progress, and we believe it leaves Matador in a stronger position to pursue future opportunities while remaining disciplined in how we deploy capital.”

Matador intends to remain focused on the priorities described in this news release: holding Bitcoin as its primary treasury asset, using its capital markets tools when management considers doing so accretive to Bitcoin held per share, generating premium income through its yield generation strategy, maintaining a reduced operating cost base, and advancing the licensing of its gold tokenization technology to GODL. Each of these activities remains subject to market conditions and, where applicable, to regulatory, Exchange and shareholder approvals, and there can be no assurance as to the outcome or timing of any of them. The Company expects to provide further updates as developments warrant.

“Becoming a public company is a defining milestone for newcleo, and I want to thank every member of our team for the work that brought us to this point and to reporting our first results as a public company,” said Stefano Buono, Founder and CEO of newcleo. “Access to the public markets strengthens our ability to execute on our mission to deliver a credible, near-term path to advanced nuclear deployment and to close the nuclear fuel cycle. The disciplined engineering, licensing, and partnership work carried out by our more than 900 employees across Europe and the United States will continue to drive newcleo’s progress, and I am excited to work with this incredible team every day.

“Importantly, newcleo is moving quickly down the path to both technical validation and regulatory approval for our facilities. The installation of the main vessel for PRECURSOR, our 10 MWt non-nuclear demonstration reactor at Brasimone, is a development milestone for the LFR technology ahead of planned commercial deployment. Completion of construction for PRECURSOR, which is expected by the end of 2026, and beginning the process of reactor system validation, are the next critical steps in qualifying the technology that will lead to the deployment of our LFR-200 reactor.

“In parallel, pre-licensing for our reactor and MOX fuel facilities in France, Slovakia and the United States, including our ongoing engagement with the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission, has moved forward. Our U.S. growth is a particular focus: our work toward siting at Savannah River, and the broader policy support for nuclear expansion in the U.S., position newcleo to play a meaningful role in meeting U.S. energy demand, including from AI infrastructure. We look forward to updating investors on our progress.”

Commercial & Operational Events

On May 26, newcleo was selected by the U.S. Department of Energy for advanced negotiations under the Surplus Plutonium Utilization Program. The program aims to make designated surplus plutonium material available to industry participants and enable the conversion of those materials into fuel for advanced nuclear reactors, subject to U.S. security, safeguards and material accountability requirements. newcleo’s selection, in partnership with Oklo, continues the companies’ strategic partnership as they work together to develop advanced fuel fabrication infrastructure in the U.S.

On June 16, 2026, the Company announced a partnership with SHINE to collaborate on advancing innovative technologies for the recycling of used nuclear fuel. Under the agreement, the parties will assess how SHINE could supply newcleo with reprocessed materials from the used nuclear fuel of traditional reactors to manufacture MOX fuel, and how SHINE could recycle spent fuel from newcleo’s reactors. The parties also intend to jointly pursue U.S. federal funding opportunities and explore additional opportunities for collaboration across both the U.S. and European Union, where spent fuel stockpiles represent a growing strategic priority to support energy independence.

On June 30, 2026, newcleo announced its entry into an agreement to acquire Bonifait Pesage, a French manufacturer of nuclear-grade scales and precision industrial weighing equipment with a strong customer base in the French nuclear ecosystem. Bonifait Pesage manufactures, installs, calibrates, and maintains weighing equipment, while also providing technical support. Since 2017, the company has held key certifications for the maintenance and verification of weighing systems used in ionizing-radiation environments. The acquisition forms part of newcleo’s vertical integration strategy, pursued since 2023, and is expected to close in the fourth quarter of 2026, subject to customary closing conditions. It is intended to bring critical manufacturing capabilities in-house, secure access to nuclear-grade weighing equipment required for planned MOX fuel manufacturing facilities, reduce supply-chain risk and support equipment customization.

Also subsequent to the first half, newcleo progressed work on the PRECURSOR non-nuclear demonstration reactor with the installation of the main vessel and turbine at ENEA’s Brasimone facility located outside of Bologna, Italy. The 10 MWt non-nuclear demonstration reactor, which is scheduled for completion at the end of 2026, is intended to provide the Company with a fully integrated, representative operating and power generating environment for the Company’s planned commercial reactors. Experimental data obtained through the operation of PRECURSOR is expected to inform the Company’s licensing processes on both sides of the Atlantic, including safety computations, system performance analysis and materials development.

“In the first half of 2026, newcleo continued moving our operations forward, continuing to convert planning into reality,” said Elisabeth Rizzotti, Co-Founder, Deputy-CEO and COO of newcleo. “Our OTHELLO test loop is operating, PRECURSOR is under active construction at Brasimone with major components manufactured and installed by our own vertically integrated subsidiaries, which gives us direct control over cost, schedule, and quality across the supply chain rather than relying on third parties for critical systems. At the same time, our work with trusted partners continues to translate into concrete engineering and commercial work. Each of these efforts, testing, building, manufacturing, and partnering, reflects the same discipline: turning our technology roadmap into physical progress on the ground.”

Regulatory Progress

Subsequent to the end of the first half, on July 17, newcleo announced that it had received from the French Nuclear Safety and Radiation Protection Authority (“ASNR”) an overall satisfactory evaluation for the proposed safety features of its planned MOX fuel manufacturing facility in France. The review by the ASNR offers practical feedback to continue developing the facility’s safety features ahead of a license application and valuable experience to support the licensing process in the U.S. The Company is also progressing through a similar regulatory process for its lead-cooled fast reactor design and is currently awaiting the opinion of the ASNR on the proposed safety features of that design.

On August 6, newcleo announced the submission of a Regulatory Engagement Plan (REP) to the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) for its planned mixed-oxide (MOX) fuel fabrication facility, to be located in Aiken, South Carolina. The submission of a REP for the MOX facility followed the submission on July 14 to the NRC of a REP for the Company’s LFR-AS-200 reactor. The submitted REPs set out the proposed framework for newcleo’s pre-application engagement with NRC staff in support of the future licensing of both the MOX facility and the LFR-AS-200 lead-cooled fast reactor. The REPs provide an overview of the Company’s proposed licensing approach and an indicative schedule for technical submissions and interactions with the NRC.

Hiring of Key Personnel

On June 11, newcleo announced the hiring of Dustin Greenwood as Vice President of U.S. Operations and Travis Chapman as Director of U.S. Regulatory Affairs and Licensing to direct and support the Company’s growing presence in the U.S. Both Greenwood and Chapman are experienced nuclear professionals, having worked in the U.S. Navy’s nuclear propulsion program, as well as at leading companies developing advanced reactor and nuclear fuel projects. Dustin Greenwood will lead the development of newcleo’s U.S. operational footprint and oversee execution of the Company’s American projects. He will focus on establishing operational capabilities, building strategic partnerships and supporting delivery of the Company’s U.S. deployment roadmap. Travis Chapman will lead newcleo’s U.S. licensing, permitting and regulatory engagement strategy, overseeing the Company’s interactions with federal regulators and supporting the licensing pathway for newcleo’s advanced reactor and fuel technologies.

On September 9, the Company announced the appointment of Jeffrey Lyash to serve as Chairman of the Board of Directors. Lyash brings more than 40 years of experience spanning engineering, procurement, construction, and operations across the power generation, transmission, and distribution sectors. He most recently served as President and Chief Executive Officer of the Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA), the largest public utility in the United States, where he oversaw generation from coal, nuclear, hydroelectric, natural gas, and renewable sources while driving significant improvements in operating efficiency. Prior to TVA, Lyash served as President and CEO of Ontario Power Generation, where he was responsible for $45 billion in assets and an 11,000-person workforce. He also served as President of Chicago Bridge & Iron’s Power Business Unit, leading engineering, procurement, and construction for multi-billion-dollar generation projects globally.

On September 30, the Company announced the appointment of William D. Magwood as Vice-Chairman of newcleo’s Board of Directors, effective January 1, 2027. Magwood has spent the past decade as Director-General of the OECD Nuclear Energy Agency (NEA), where he works directly with the nuclear regulators and energy ministries of NEA’s member countries. Magwood will step down from his position at the NEA at the end of 2026 prior to assuming his position as newcleo’s Vice-Chairman.

TRUTAKNA (atacicept-vymj) Indication

TRUTAKNA (atacicept-vymj) is indicated to reduce proteinuria in adults with primary immunoglobulin A nephropathy (IgAN) at risk for disease progression.

This indication is approved under accelerated approval based on reduction of proteinuria. It has not been established whether TRUTAKNA slows kidney function decline over the long-term in patients with IgAN. Continued approval for this indication may be contingent upon verification and description of clinical benefit in a confirmatory clinical trial.

Important Safety Information

Contraindications: TRUTAKNA is contraindicated in patients with serious hypersensitivity to atacicept-vymj or any excipients of TRUTAKNA.

Warnings and Precautions

Immunosuppression and Increased Risk of Infections: TRUTAKNA suppresses the immune system by reducing antibody production, which may increase the risk of infections. Patients with chronic infection or recurring infections may have an increased risk of serious infection. In clinical trials, infections were reported in 32% of TRUTAKNA patients compared with 28% of placebo patients.

Before initiating TRUTAKNA, assess patients for active infections. Delay TRUTAKNA administration in patients with active infection until the infection resolves or is adequately treated. Monitor patients for signs and symptoms of infection during treatment with TRUTAKNA. If a serious infection develops, consider interrupting TRUTAKNA until the infection is controlled.

The concomitant use of TRUTAKNA and other immune-modulating therapies has not been evaluated. Concomitant use of TRUTAKNA with drugs that affect the immune system, including systemic corticosteroids, may increase the risk of infection.

Immunosuppression and Immunization Risk: TRUTAKNA may interfere with the immune response to vaccines and increase the risk of infection from live vaccines. Prior to initiating treatment with TRUTAKNA, complete all age-appropriate immunizations. Live vaccines are not recommended within 30 days prior to initiation or during treatment with TRUTAKNA as safety of coadministration has not been established.

Adverse Reactions: The most common adverse reactions (≥5%) in patients treated with TRUTAKNA and placebo, respectively, were infections (32% vs 28%) and local administration reactions (30% vs 5%). The most common infection was upper respiratory tract infection (12% vs 9%), and the most common local administration reactions were injection site reaction (19% vs 2%) and injection site erythema (6% vs 1%).

Use in Specific Populations

Pregnancy: Available data on TRUTAKNA used in pregnant women exposed during clinical trials are insufficient to evaluate for a drug-associated risk of major birth defects, miscarriage, or other adverse maternal or fetal outcomes.

Based on the mechanism of action, TRUTAKNA may cause immunosuppression in the in utero-exposed infant. Consider the potential clinical impact of TRUTAKNA exposure in infants exposed in utero. Pregnant women exposed to TRUTAKNA, or their healthcare provider, should report TRUTAKNA exposure by calling 1-833-633-8372.

Pediatric Use: The safety and effectiveness of TRUTAKNA in pediatric patients have not been established.

You may report side effects to the FDA at 1-800-FDA-1088 or www.fda.gov/medwatch. You may also report side effects to Vera Therapeutics at 1-833-MED-VERA or medinfo@veratx.com.

Please see full Prescribing Information for additional Important Safety Information.

About TRUTAKNA

TRUTAKNA, a B-cell activating factor (BAFF) and A proliferation-inducing ligand (APRIL) inhibitor, is a soluble recombinant fusion protein containing the human transmembrane activator and calcium-modulating cyclophilin ligand interactor (TACI) receptor that binds to the cytokines BAFF and APRIL.1 BAFF and APRIL are key cytokines that activate B cells and drive IgAN pathophysiology. In IgAN, activated B cells produce both the antigen and associated antibodies that result in the production of damaging IgA immune complexes. The overlapping roles of BAFF and APRIL in activating B cells support the potential for TRUTAKNA as a disease-modifying therapy.2 TRUTAKNA is self-administered as an at-home, small-volume (1 ml), 150 mg once-weekly autoinjector.

TRUTAKNA TRU SUPPORT™ Patient Support Program

We are dedicated to ensuring that eligible IgAN patients can access the first approved therapy that targets both BAFF and APRIL. TRUTAKNA TRU SUPPORT, our patient support program, offers insurance coverage assistance, financial assistance options for eligible patients, and educational resources designed to support patient access and care. Eligible commercially insured patients may pay as little as $0 out of pocket through our copay assistance program. More information will be available on www.veratx.com.

About IgAN

IgAN is a serious, progressive, immune-mediated kidney disease and a leading cause of chronic kidney disease and kidney failure worldwide.3,4 Approximately 2.5 adults per 100,000 worldwide are diagnosed with IgAN each year, most often between 30 and 40 years of age.5,6 Over time, IgAN can lead to irreversible kidney damage and may ultimately require dialysis or kidney transplantation. At least 50% of patients may progress to kidney failure or death within 10 to 20 years of diagnosis.3

About Artiva Biotherapeutics
Artiva is a clinical-stage biotechnology company whose mission is to develop effective, safe and accessible cell therapies for patients with debilitating autoimmune diseases. Artiva is initiating a Phase 3 registrational trial of its lead program, AlloNK® (also known as AB-101), for refractory rheumatoid arthritis (RA) during the second half of 2026. AlloNK is an allogeneic, off-the-shelf, non-genetically modified, cryopreserved natural killer (NK) cell therapy candidate designed to enhance antibody-dependent cellular cytotoxicity in combination with a range of therapeutic antibodies. Initial clinical data evaluating AlloNK in combination with anti-CD20 antibodies have demonstrated encouraging activity across multiple B-cell-driven autoimmune diseases and a tolerability profile supportive of outpatient administration. Artiva is developing AlloNK plus rituximab as a scalable, outpatient-administered, deep B-cell depletion treatment regimen for use in community rheumatology settings. In addition to refractory RA, AlloNK is being evaluated in Sjögren disease, systemic sclerosis and myositis.

Artiva is headquartered in San Diego, California. For more information, please visit www.artivabio.com.

Forward-Looking Statements
This press release contains forward-looking statements within the meaning of the Private Securities Litigation Reform Act of 1995. Statements in this press release that are not statements of historical fact are forward-looking statements. Such forward-looking statements include, without limitation, statements regarding: the potential benefits, accessibility, practicality, effectiveness, safety and tolerability of AlloNK, including based on interim pooled data across clinical trials, and the potential for administration in an outpatient community setting; the registrational Phase 3 trial for AlloNK, including trial design, expectations for response rates, and timing of initiation, future updates on site activation and enrollment, and topline data readout; and Artiva’s ability to generate sufficient data to support a BLA submission; clinical data expected to be presented from patients with refractory RA, SjD and SSc, and the timing of such data disclosures; the number of patients with data from the basket study who would be expected to meet the key eligibility criteria for the planned Phase 3 trial; Artiva’s ability to realize the potential benefits associated with FDA RMAT designation for AlloNK; Artiva’s beliefs regarding its competitive position, including its belief that AlloNK may be the first deep B-cell depleting therapy of any modality to reach patients with, and be approved and commercialized in, refractory RA; and Artiva’s future results of operations and financial position, including cash runway. These forward-looking statements are based on the beliefs of the management of Artiva as well as assumptions made by and information currently available to Artiva. Such statements reflect the current views of Artiva with respect to future events and are subject to known and unknown risks and uncertainties, including, without limitation, risks and delays relating to initiation of the Phase 3 registrational trial, activation of clinical trial sites, patient enrollment and the availability and timing of disclosure of data; risks that future clinical trial results may not be consistent with interim, initial, preliminary, or topline results or results from prior preclinical studies or clinical trials, or with Artiva’s expectations; the risk that the number of patients, or the duration of follow-up for such patients, available for presentation differs from current expectations; the risk that differences exist between trial designs, patient characteristics and other factors for the Phase 3 trial, Artiva-sponsored Phase 2a basket trial and investigator-initiated basket trial, and caution should be exercised in drawing any conclusions from such data across separate trials as such pooling and comparative data is inherently limited and such data may not be directly comparable; the risk that other deep B-cell depleting therapies may advance more rapidly than Artiva currently anticipates, that Artiva’s assessment of publicly disclosed competitor development timelines may be incomplete or inaccurate, and that Artiva may not achieve or be the first to achieve regulatory approval or commercialization of a therapy in this category; the risk that Artiva’s registrational strategy is based in part on recent interactions with the FDA and later feedback from the FDA may be inconsistent with past interactions; Artiva’s ability to obtain adequate financing to fund its planned clinical trials and other expenses; risks inherent in developing product candidates; and risks related to the legal and regulatory framework for the industry. In light of these risks and uncertainties, the events or circumstances referred to in the forward-looking statements may not occur. These and other factors that may cause Artiva’s actual results to differ from current expectations are discussed in Artiva’s filings with the Securities and Exchange Commission (the “SEC”), including the section titled “Risk Factors” in Artiva’s Quarterly Report on Form 10-Q for the quarter ended June 30, 2026. You are cautioned not to place undue reliance on these forward-looking statements, which speak only as of the date this press release is given. • New immune data from the phase 2 trial with EVX-01 to be presented both in an oral and poster presentation
  • New data follows from the three-year clinical update for EVX-01 to be provided at the European Society for Medical Oncology (ESMO) 2026 congress on October 24, 2026

COPENHAGEN, Denmark, October 2, 2026 – Evaxion A/S (NASDAQ: EVAX) (“Evaxion”), a clinical-stage TechBio company developing novel immunotherapies with its pioneering AI-Immunology™ platform, will present new immune data for AI-designed personalized cancer vaccine EVX-01 at the Society for Immunotherapy of Cancer (SITC) 2026 Annual Meeting, taking place in Phoenix, Arizona, November 4-8, 2026.

The new data will reflect the systemic immunomodulatory effects of EVX-01 plus pembrolizumab beyond vaccine-specific T-cell responses using comprehensive immune profiling. It will be presented both in an oral and poster presentation at the SITC meeting.

The new immune data stems from the phase 2 trial investigating EVX-01 in combination with MSD’s (Merck & Co., Inc., Rahway, NJ, USA) anti-PD-1 therapy, KEYTRUDA® (pembrolizumab) in patients with advanced melanoma. Each patient enrolled in the trial received a unique vaccine designed and manufactured based on their individual biology. KEYTRUDA® is a registered trademark of Merck Sharp & Dohme LLC, a subsidiary of Merck & Co., Inc., Rahway, NJ, USA.

The complete three-year clinical data from the phase 2 trial will be presented at the European Society for Medical Oncology (ESMO) 2026 congress on October 24, 2026. Two-year data demonstrated an Objective Response Rate (ORR) of 75% as 12 out of 16 patients had objective clinical responses, with four patients obtaining a complete response. Additionally, a durable clinical benefit was observed as 92% of patients were still responding at two years follow-up and no relapses were observed.

In the third year, patients received EVX-01 as stand-alone therapy, meaning the data will offer insight into the vaccine’s effect also when not administered in combination with anti-PD-1 therapy. Further, the data may also provide additional insights into potentially enhanced treatment effects and durability of the EVX-01-induced immune response.

SITC oral and poster presentation details:

  • Abstract title: EVX-01 personalized AI-designed vaccine plus pembrolizumab induce neoantigen-specific T-cell responses and systemic immune modulation in advanced melanoma
