(1) See “Information Related to Financial Measures” for a discussion of the company’s use of non-GAAP financial measures and Tables 2-4 for reconciliations or calculations of these financial measures. “Identified items” include adjustments for lower of cost or market (“LCM”), gain/loss on sale of business, asset write-downs in excess of $10 million in aggregate for the period, Cash Improvement Plan costs, site closure costs, European transaction costs, net of transition service agreement income, and discontinued operations.

“In an evolving macroeconomic environment, we delivered another quarter of strong earnings and robust cash conversion through disciplined execution underscored by the strength of our global, cost-advantaged portfolio,” said Peter Vanacker, LYB chief executive officer. “We are leveraging the flexibility and resilience of our leaner structure by optimizing feedstocks, directing products to the most attractive markets and aligning operating rates with demand. The strength of our oxyfuels business and materially higher Intermediates and Derivatives profitability highlight the benefits of our diversified portfolio. We continue to prioritize safety, reliability and cost discipline, to maximize margins, generate cash and deliver sustainable value for our shareholders.”

THIRD QUARTER 2026 RESULTS
The company reported net income for the third quarter 2026 of $758 million, or $2.32 per diluted share. During the quarter, the company recognized $70 million of identified items, net of tax. These items, which impacted third quarter earnings by $0.22 per diluted share, included closure costs for a European propylene oxide (PO) joint venture. Third quarter 2026 EBITDA was $1.4 billion, or $1.5 billion excluding identified items.

Market conditions remained dynamic throughout the third quarter, as ongoing geopolitical uncertainty led to diverging impacts in our key markets. Compared with the second quarter, profitability fell in the Olefins and Polyolefins (O&P) – Americas segment, driven by lower prices for polymers and olefin products. However, the industry’s integrated polyethylene margins ended the third quarter at approximately 50% above 2025 levels, supported by positive polyethylene price momentum in September. The company completed the planned turnaround at Clinton on time and under budget, reflecting the ongoing focus on operational excellence. In the O&P – Europe, Asia and International segment, polymer prices fell which pressured margins. Volumes in the third quarter were also lower sequentially, reflecting the sale of certain European assets in May 2026.

Intermediates and Derivatives (I&D) delivered materially higher quarterly profitability, largely driven by oxyfuels. Through the Value Enhancement Program, LYB increased utilization of the Channelview PO/TBA asset to approximately 110%. Bayport PO/TBA operated at full rates after a successful restart in June, leveraging strong customer demand and providing additional support to earnings. Global supply disruptions led to higher crack spreads, and favorable gasoline blend economics boosted octane values. These factors significantly expanded Europe and U.S. oxyfuel margins. Acetyls also benefited from improved reliability at La Porte.

LYB generated $1.7 billion in cash from operating activities during the third quarter, including a release of working capital. Capital allocation was balanced between capital expenditures of $303 million and $224 million of shareholder returns through dividends. The company also repaid its €500 million note maturity in September as planned. At the end of the quarter, LYB held $3.2 billion in cash and cash equivalents and $7.7 billion in available liquidity.

OUTLOOK
Conditions in the Middle East are likely to remain fluid and a potential return to pre-conflict conditions is likely to be non-linear and take longer than anticipated. Customer buying patterns have been impacted by inventory levels and price volatility, however polyethylene domestic and export demand is strong and polymer pricing improved through the end of the third quarter. Additionally, oxyfuels margins and demand remain strong. As markets continue to adjust, reliable supply and operational flexibility are expected to remain important differentiators. The company’s cost-advantaged assets and exposure to diverse end markets are well positioned to underpin future earnings and cash flow.

In the fourth quarter, we expect normal seasonal demand patterns along with ongoing supply uncertainty. The company has a planned maintenance project in a North American polypropylene asset. To align with global demand and the company’s planned maintenance, LYB expects fourth quarter operating rates of 85% for North American O&P assets, 60% for European O&P assets and 75% for I&D assets. The fourth quarter is expected to deliver a seasonal release of working capital.

LYB remains focused on commercial and operational agility in this dynamic market while continuing to execute the Cash Improvement Plan. The company’s capital allocation priorities remain unchanged: safely operate and maintain assets, strengthen the balance sheet through disciplined deleveraging, maintain an attractive dividend and invest selectively in opportunities that enhance long-term shareholder value.

INFORMATION RELATED TO FINANCIAL MEASURES
This release makes reference to certain non-GAAP financial measures as defined in Regulation G of the U.S. Securities Exchange Act of 1934, as amended.

We report our financial results in accordance with U.S. generally accepted accounting principles (“GAAP”), but believe that certain non-GAAP financial measures, such as EBITDA, and EBITDA, net income and diluted EPS exclusive of identified items provide useful supplemental information to investors regarding the underlying business trends and performance of the company’s ongoing operations and are useful for period-over-period comparisons of such operations. Non-GAAP financial measures should be considered as a supplement to, and not as a substitute for, or superior to, the financial measures prepared in accordance with GAAP.

We calculate EBITDA as net income (loss) plus interest expense, net, provision for (benefit from) income taxes, and depreciation and amortization. EBITDA should not be considered an alternative to profit or operating profit for any period as an indicator of our performance, or as an alternative to operating cash flows as a measure of our liquidity. We also present EBITDA, net income and diluted EPS exclusive of identified items. Identified items include adjustments for lower of cost or market (“LCM”), gain/loss on sale of business, asset write-downs in excess of $10 million in aggregate for the period, Cash Improvement Plan costs, site closure costs, European transaction costs, net of transition service agreement income, and discontinued operations. Asset write-downs include impairments of goodwill and impairments of long-lived assets. Our inventories are stated at the lower of cost or market. Cost is determined using the last-in, first-out (“LIFO”) inventory valuation methodology, which means that the most recently incurred costs are charged to cost of sales and inventories are valued at the earliest acquisition costs. Fluctuation in the prices of crude oil, natural gas and correlated products from period to period may result in the recognition of charges to adjust the value of inventory to the lower of cost or market in periods of falling prices and the reversal of those charges in subsequent interim periods, within the same fiscal year as the charge, as market prices recover. A gain/loss on sale of a business is calculated as the consideration received from the sale less its carrying value. We evaluate property, plant and equipment and definite-lived intangible assets whenever impairment indicators are present. If it is determined that an asset or asset group’s undiscounted future cash flows will not be sufficient to recover the carrying amount, an impairment charge is recognized to write the asset down to its estimated fair value. Goodwill is tested for impairment annually in the fourth quarter or whenever events or changes in circumstances indicate that the fair value of a reporting unit with goodwill is below its carrying amount. If it is determined that the carrying value of the reporting unit including goodwill exceeds its fair value, an impairment charge is recognized. We assess our equity investments for impairment whenever events or changes in circumstances indicate that the carrying amount of the investment may not be recoverable. If the decline in value is considered to be other-than-temporary, the investment is written down to its estimated fair value. In June 2025, we announced the divestiture of select olefins and polyolefins assets and the associated businesses in Europe, in May 2026 we completed the divestiture. In connection with the divestiture we recognized selling expenses, separation costs and employee-related charges (collectively referred to as “European transaction costs”), income from the transition service agreement and loss on sale of business. In April 2025, the company announced the Cash Improvement Plan, focused on strengthening financial performance, which resulted in employee-related charges across all segments. In March 2025, we announced the permanent closure of our Dutch PO joint venture asset, resulting in the recognition of shutdown-related charges in our Intermediates & Derivatives (“I&D”) segment. Additionally, we recognized shutdown and employee-related charges related to sites in our Advanced Polymer Solutions (“APS”) and Olefins & Polyolefins – Europe, Asia, International (“O&P-EAI”) segments. In February 2025, we ceased business operations at our Houston refinery. Accordingly, our refining business, previously disclosed as the Refining segment, is reported as a discontinued operation.

These non-GAAP financial measures as presented herein, may not be comparable to similarly titled measures reported by other companies due to differences in the way the measures are calculated. In addition, we include calculations for certain other financial measures to facilitate understanding. This release contains time sensitive information that is accurate only as of the time hereof. Business Highlights

Key Pipeline Progress
Regeneron has approximately 50 product candidates in clinical development, including a number of marketed products for which it is investigating additional indications. Updates from the clinical pipeline include:

Libtayo (cemiplimab)

  • In August 2026, the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare (MHLW) in Japan approved Libtayo as an adjuvant treatment for cutaneous squamous cell carcinoma (CSCC) and for the treatment of metastatic or locally advanced CSCC. These indications are already approved in the United States and European Union (EU).
  • In October 2026, the European Medicines Agency’s (EMA) Committee for Medicinal Products for Human Use (CHMP) adopted a positive opinion recommending the approval of an alternative dosing schedule for Libtayo across all approved indications. The positive opinion supports reducing Libtayo dosing frequency from every three weeks to every six weeks after the first 12 weeks of treatment. The European Commission (EC) is expected to make a final decision in the coming months. There is also a supplemental Biologics License Application (sBLA) under review by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), which has a target action date in March 2027.
  • In October 2026, the Company announced longer-term data which showed increasing and clinically meaningful overall survival benefit for Libtayo as an adjuvant treatment for patients with CSCC. The results were presented at the European Society for Medical Oncology (ESMO) 2026 Meeting.

Other Oncology Programs

  • The FDA accepted for review the resubmission of the BLA for Ordspono™ (odronextamab) in relapsed or refractory diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL), which has a target action date in February 2027.
  • The Company announced that ubamatamab (MUC16 and CD3 bispecific antibody) showed a high rate of durable responses in an initial study in patients with advanced low-grade serous ovarian cancer (LGSOC). The data are from an ongoing Phase 1/2 trial and were presented at the International Gynecologic Cancer Society (IGCS) 2026 Annual Global Meeting. Based on these preliminary trial results, the Company has been enrolling a single-arm, potentially registrational LGSOC trial and is planning to initiate a confirmatory Phase 3 trial in this setting.

Pasatru (garetosmab)

  • In August 2026, the FDA approved Pasatru to reduce formation of new heterotopic ossification lesions and clinician-assessed flare-ups in adults with FOP. A regulatory application is also under review in the EU.
  • The Company announced positive 84-week results from the Phase 3 trial for Pasatru in adults with FOP. These longer-term findings demonstrated sustained efficacy in halting new, rogue bone growth and in significantly reducing disease flare-ups, and were presented at the American Society for Bone and Mineral Research (ASBMR) Annual Meeting.

Other Programs

  • A three-arm, placebo-controlled Phase 3 study was initiated to evaluate cenvacibart (an antibody to Factor XI (catalytic domain)), and amrecibart (an antibody to Factor XI (A2 domain)), individually, for the prevention of venous thromboembolism in patients with a peripherally inserted central catheter (PICC).
  • The Company has an ongoing Phase 1/2 study for its RNAi therapy targeting CIDEB. Interim results from this randomized, placebo-controlled, first-in-human trial in adults with metabolic dysfunction-associated steatotic liver disease (MASLD) showed that a single dose was generally well tolerated and reduced liver fat by approximately 70% on average from baseline at 12 weeks, with effects sustained through 24 weeks of follow-up. The Company plans to present interim results at the American Association for the Study of Liver Diseases (AASLD) Meeting in November 2026 and to initiate a Phase 3 study in metabolic dysfunction-associated steatohepatitis (MASH)/MASLD in the fourth quarter of 2026.
  • The Company plans to report results from the Phase 2 study for baloncibart (NPR1 antagonist antibody) in postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome (POTS) at the American Autonomic Society (AAS) Meeting in November 2026. Additionally, the Company plans to initiate a Phase 3 study in POTS in the first half of 2027, pending regulatory feedback.
  • The Company announced new results from the Phase 2 COURAGE trial evaluating trevogrumab (myostatin antibody) for its potential to prevent lean mass and muscle loss during GLP-1 receptor agonist-induced weight loss in people living with obesity. The results of the trial were presented at the European Association for the Study of Diabetes (EASD) Annual Meeting.
  • A second Phase 3 study was initiated for REGN1908-1909, an investigational treatment for cat allergy.

Corporate Updates

  • In October 2026, the Company and Sanofi amended their antibody collaboration, adding multiple next-generation, long-acting Regeneron-invented antibodies to the alliance. Under the terms of the agreement, the Company received an up-front payment of $1.0 billion, and is entitled to receive up to an additional $7.0 billion in the aggregate upon the achievement of certain development, regulatory, and sales-based milestones. The companies will equally share development and commercialization costs for the new programs, and, if commercialized, share any future profits equally on a global basis.
  • In October 2026, the Company announced an agreement with the Biomedical Advanced Research and Development Authority (BARDA) to provide additional supply of Inmazeb® for U.S. preparedness against Ebola disease. Under the terms of the agreement, the Company expects to deliver a pre-specified number of treatment doses of Inmazeb each year to the U.S. government beginning in 2027 through 2031.

EYLEA HD U.S. net product sales increased in the third quarter of 2026, compared to the third quarter of 2025, primarily due to higher sales volumes driven by increased demand, partly offset by a lower net selling price.

EYLEA U.S. net product sales decreased in the third quarter of 2026, compared to the third quarter of 2025, primarily due to lower sales volumes as a result of continued competitive pressures and the continued transition of patients to EYLEA HD.

Libtayo U.S. net product sales increased in the third quarter of 2026, compared to the third quarter of 2025, primarily due to higher sales volumes driven by increased demand.

Sanofi collaboration revenue increased in the third quarter of 2026, compared to the third quarter of 2025, due to an increase in the Company’s share of profits from the commercialization of antibodies, which were $2.575 billion and $1.456 billion in the third quarter of 2026 and 2025, respectively. The increase in the Company’s share of profits from the commercialization of antibodies was driven by higher profits primarily associated with an increase in Dupixent sales. In addition, the Sanofi Development Balance was fully repaid as of the end of the second quarter of 2026 and no longer reduced Sanofi collaboration revenue beginning in the third quarter of 2026.

Refer to Table 4 for a summary of collaboration revenue.

GAAP and non-GAAP R&D expenses increased in the third quarter of 2026, compared to the third quarter of 2025, driven by the advancement of the Company’s clinical pipeline and increased manufacturing activity associated with the Company’s product candidates.

Other Financial Information

GAAP other income (expense), net decreased in the third quarter of 2026, compared to the third quarter of 2025, primarily due to lower net gains on marketable and other securities.

In the third quarter of 2026, the Company’s GAAP effective tax rate (ETR) was 14.7%, compared to 17.2% in the third quarter of 2025. The GAAP ETR for the third quarter of 2025 was negatively impacted by the enactment of the “One Big Beautiful Bill Act” or “OBBBA,” including a $45 million charge related to the re-measurement of the Company’s U.S. net deferred tax assets. In the third quarter of 2026, the non-GAAP ETR was 15.0%, compared to 13.1% in the third quarter of 2025.

A reconciliation of the Company’s GAAP to non-GAAP results is included in Table 3 of this press release.

During the nine months ended September 30, 2026, the Company repurchased $2.3 billion of its common stock. As of September 30, 2026, $2.2 billion remained available for share repurchases under the Company’s share repurchase programs.

(a) This press release uses non-GAAP R&D, non-GAAP SG&A, non-GAAP COGS, non-GAAP gross margin on net product sales, non-GAAP COCM, non-GAAP other income (expense), net, non-GAAP ETR, non-GAAP net income, non-GAAP net income per share, and free cash flow, which are financial measures that are not calculated in accordance with U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). These non-GAAP financial measures are computed by excluding certain non-cash and/or other items from the related GAAP financial measure. The Company also includes a non-GAAP adjustment for the estimated income tax effect of reconciling items. A reconciliation of the Company’s GAAP to non-GAAP results is included in Table 3 of this press release.

The Company makes such adjustments for items the Company does not view as useful in evaluating its operating performance. For example, adjustments may be made for items that fluctuate from period to period based on factors that are not within the Company’s control (such as the Company’s stock price on the dates share-based grants are issued or changes in the fair value of the Company’s investments in equity securities) or items that are not associated with normal, recurring operations (such as acquisition and integration costs). Management uses these non-GAAP measures for planning, budgeting, forecasting, assessing historical performance, and making financial and operational decisions, and also provides forecasts to investors on this basis. With respect to free cash flow, the Company believes that this non-GAAP measure provides a further measure of the Company’s ability to generate cash flows from its operations. Additionally, the non-GAAP measures presented are intended to provide investors with an enhanced understanding of the financial performance of the Company’s core business operations. However, there are limitations in the use of these and other non-GAAP financial measures as they exclude certain expenses that are recurring in nature. Furthermore, the Company’s non-GAAP financial measures may not be comparable with non-GAAP information provided by other companies. Any non-GAAP financial measure presented by the Company should be considered supplemental to, and not a substitute for, measures of financial performance prepared in accordance with GAAP.

(b) Gross margin on net product sales represents gross profit expressed as a percentage of total net product sales recorded by the Company. Gross profit is calculated as net product sales less cost of goods sold.

(c) Corresponding reimbursements from collaborators and others for manufacturing product is recorded within revenues.

TARRYTOWN, N.Y., Oct. 30, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Regeneron Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (Nasdaq: REGN) today announced financial results for the third quarter of 2026 and provided a business update.

“This was an outstanding quarter for Regeneron, with Dupixent, EYLEA HD, and Libtayo each achieving record net sales,” said Leonard S. Schleifer, M.D., Ph.D., Board co-Chair, President and Chief Executive Officer of Regeneron. “Our pipeline of about 50 product candidates is rapidly advancing. We expect an FDA decision for cemdisiran in generalized myasthenia gravis next month; our Phase 3 programs in multiple myeloma, lymphoma, anticoagulation, and obesity continue to advance; and we have generated encouraging early data in MASH, POTS, and ovarian cancer. Finally, we expanded our alliance with Sanofi to include four Regeneron-invented, next-generation, long-acting antibodies designed to build on the success of Dupixent.”

World-first all-in-one energy storage system with Smart Port and Backup Port integration brings greater flexibility, resilience and intelligent energy management to West African homes

LAGOS, Nigeria, Oct. 30, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Sigenergy (06656.HK) has announced the West African launch of SigenStor Neo, its next-generation all-in-one residential energy storage system, at Nigeria Energy 2026, currently underway at the Landmark Centre in Lagos.

The regional launch introduces Sigenergy’s latest residential energy innovation to West Africa, bringing together energy storage, power conversion, backup capability and intelligent energy management within one integrated platform.

For many Nigerian households, reliable home energy can depend on a combination of grid electricity and alternative energy sources. This creates a strong need for flexible systems capable of bringing solar generation, battery storage and backup power together within a more integrated home energy ecosystem.

At the centre of SigenStor Neo is its Smart Port and Backup Port architecture. As the world’s first all-in-one energy storage system to integrate both a dedicated Smart Port and Backup Port, SigenStor Neo is designed to become the intelligent core of the home energy ecosystem.

Sigenergy

“West Africa is an important market for Sigenergy, with customers looking for reliable and flexible ways to manage increasingly complex home energy needs. SigenStor Neo is designed to bring different energy resources together within one intelligent ecosystem, giving homeowners greater flexibility in how they generate, store and manage their energy. We are excited to introduce the next generation of SigenStor to West Africa at Nigeria Energy 2026,”
– Jade Martyn, Sales Director – Africa at Sigenergy

Bringing Multiple Energy Sources Together

One of SigenStor Neo’s most significant innovations is the flexibility provided by its Smart Port.

The Smart Port can connect compatible third-party inverters, external generators and EV chargers, enabling different energy resources and devices to operate as part of a more integrated home energy system.

This has important practical relevance for Nigerian households that may use generator backup alongside grid electricity and solar. Rather than operating entirely independently, an external generator can form part of the wider SigenStor Neo energy ecosystem.

For homeowners who already have solar equipment installed, the ability to connect compatible third-party inverters also provides greater flexibility when upgrading or expanding an existing energy system.

As household energy requirements evolve, the same architecture creates a pathway to incorporate additional devices and energy resources without requiring the entire system to be redesigned around separate, isolated components.

Reliable Backup When It Matters

Alongside its connectivity features, SigenStor Neo has been engineered to provide dependable household backup power.

The system delivers 0 ms load-side disruption and up to 200% peak power output capacity, helping household loads continue operating when grid power is interrupted.

Its dedicated Backup Port provides flexible extended power supply to household loads during unexpected grid outages, while the Smart Port enables additional backup resources such as an external generator to be incorporated where required.

Together, these capabilities provide homeowners with greater flexibility in how grid electricity, stored energy and additional backup sources are configured and managed.

For households where continuity of power is a priority, this integrated approach allows SigenStor Neo to function as more than a battery system. It becomes the central platform through which multiple energy resources can work together.

Storage That Can Grow with the Household

SigenStor Neo has also been designed around modularity and long-term flexibility.

Its architecture supports up to six vertically stacked battery modules, allowing homeowners to configure storage capacity around their current requirements while retaining the ability to expand the system as their energy needs grow.

This allows customers to start with a system suited to their present electricity consumption rather than necessarily designing an installation around their maximum future storage requirement from day one.

A built-in pack optimiser further supports future expansion by allowing compatible old and new batteries to operate within the same system.

The system also incorporates an eight-layer protection architecture, providing comprehensive protection throughout operation.

For households whose requirements may increase over time through additional appliances, increased solar capacity or future EV ownership, this modular design provides a practical pathway for expansion.

A Streamlined All-in-One Design

SigenStor Neo integrates the inverter, battery, power conversion system (PCS), energy management system (EMS) and gateway into a single streamlined platform.

For installers, this reduces the number of separate components required within a residential energy system and simplifies the overall installation architecture.

Lightweight modules with lifting handles, a single side cover for wiring and an optimised terminal layout and installation process are designed to further reduce deployment time and on-site labour.

The result is a more compact and integrated system for homeowners, while providing installers with a simplified approach to system deployment.

AI-Powered Home Energy Management

SigenStor Neo forms part of Sigenergy’s wider “AI in All” strategy, which integrates artificial intelligence throughout the company’s energy ecosystem.

At the heart of this intelligent management layer is SigenAgent, the energy industry’s first all-domain AI agent, operating through mySigen App 4.0.

Rather than requiring homeowners to manually manage every operating parameter, SigenAgent enables users to define broader objectives, such as reducing electricity costs or maintaining sufficient backup power.

The system can then analyse operating conditions and coordinate connected hardware in support of those objectives.

For a home managing multiple energy sources, this combination of intelligent software and integrated hardware can simplify energy management while providing homeowners with greater visibility and control over how electricity is generated, stored and used.

Introducing SigenStor Neo to West Africa

The launch of SigenStor Neo at Nigeria Energy 2026 marks the system’s introduction to the West African market and another step in Sigenergy’s continued expansion across the region, including key markets such as Nigeria, Ghana, Côte d’Ivoire, Sierra Leone, Liberia and Togo.

Nigeria provides a strong platform for the regional launch, with growing interest in distributed solar, energy storage and flexible residential energy solutions capable of responding to different household requirements.

By bringing together solar, storage, grid electricity, backup resources and AI-driven energy management within one integrated ecosystem, SigenStor Neo introduces a new level of flexibility for homeowners seeking greater control over their energy.

Sigenergy is showcasing SigenStor Neo throughout Nigeria Energy 2026, taking place from 27-29 October at the Landmark Centre in Lagos.
