NVIDIA B300 GPU Leasing Operations Establish Foundation for Recurring Revenue as Company Advances Proposed Real Estate Divestiture, Expected to Reduce Legacy Operating Costs, Strengthen Balance Sheet and Support Long-Term Growth

Proposed Ocean Power Technologies Collaboration Expands Potential AI Infrastructure Applications Through Offshore, Renewable-Powered Computing

CELEBRATION, FL, Nov. 02, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Stratum Holdings Corp. (NASDAQ: SRTM) (“Stratum”) today issued a letter to shareholders from Chief Executive Officer Nicholas H. Adler outlining the Company’s progress in executing its strategic transformation, including its NVIDIA B300 GPU leasing business, proposed divestiture of legacy real estate operations and development of new AI infrastructure opportunities.

Key Strategic Highlights

  • AI Infrastructure Revenue: Acquired NVIDIA B300 GPUs and placed them under a long-term leasing arrangement intended to generate recurring revenue.
  • Balance Sheet Optimization: Advancing the proposed divestiture of legacy real estate businesses, which is expected to remove certain liabilities and reduce operating expenses and working-capital requirements, subject to completion. The Company expects to enter into a definitive sale agreement by year-end 2026.
  • Recurring Revenue Opportunity: Pursuing additional GPU leasing arrangements to expand the Company’s high-performance computing asset base and potential recurring revenue.
  • Strategic Expansion: Entered into a non-binding letter of intent with Ocean Power Technologies to explore offshore, renewable-powered AI computing infrastructure.
  • Profitability Goal: Maintaining its goal of achieving profitability in 2027 through revenue growth, operating efficiencies and disciplined capital allocation.

Dear Fellow Shareholders,

Over the past several weeks, Stratum Holdings has taken important steps toward transforming our Company into a focused AI infrastructure business. Our strategy is centered on building a platform that provides high-performance computing capacity to support the growing demands of artificial intelligence, while simplifying our corporate structure and pursuing opportunities to expand the applications of our technology.

Our recent announcements reflect a deliberate approach to this transformation. We have acquired next-generation NVIDIA B300 GPUs and placed them under a long-term lease intended to generate recurring revenue. We have entered into a letter of intent for the proposed sale of our legacy real estate operations, which we believe will allow us to concentrate our resources on AI infrastructure. Most recently, we announced a proposed strategic collaboration with Ocean Power Technologies to explore renewable-powered offshore computing applications.

Importantly, we are now focused on advancing these initiatives toward their next stages of execution, including working toward definitive agreements for both the proposed real estate divestiture and our strategic collaboration with Ocean Power Technologies.

Establishing Our AI Infrastructure Business

On October 1, 2026, we announced the acquisition of next-generation NVIDIA B300 GPUs, representing an important initial step in building our AI infrastructure platform.

These GPUs are designed to support demanding artificial intelligence workloads, including model training and inference. By placing the acquired GPUs under a 32-month non-cancelable lease, we have established an initial asset base intended to generate recurring revenue and support the development of our GPU leasing business.

We believe this asset-backed approach provides a foundation from which to pursue additional opportunities in high-performance computing. Our strategy is to participate in the underlying infrastructure required to support AI workloads.

As we move forward, our focus will be on evaluating opportunities to expand our GPU capacity, establish additional commercial relationships and build a scalable business around the ownership and leasing of high-performance computing assets. We believe expanding our portfolio of leased GPU assets could be an important part of our long-term growth strategy, as we seek opportunities to increase recurring revenue.

Simplifying Our Business and Strengthening Our Financial Position

Building a focused AI infrastructure company also requires making strategic decisions about where we allocate capital and management resources. We believe our transformation is progressing in the right direction, with recent developments reflecting tangible steps toward simplifying our business and focusing our operations on our long-term growth strategy.

On October 19, 2026, we announced that we had entered into a non-binding letter of intent for the proposed sale of substantially all assets of our legacy real estate businesses, including brokerage, franchising, property management, mortgage, title and related operations.

If completed, the proposed transaction is expected to strengthen our financial position by removing certain liabilities, operating costs and working-capital requirements associated with these legacy businesses, including trade payables and other specified liabilities to be assumed by the proposed buyer. This would allow us to direct greater financial and management resources toward executing our AI infrastructure strategy. We believe the divestiture represents an important step toward our goal of achieving profitability in 2027.

We continue to make progress in discussions with the proposed buyer. While the transaction remains subject to the negotiation and execution of definitive documentation and other customary conditions, we are encouraged by the progress to date and believe the anticipated divestiture would represent a significant milestone in our transformation.

Expanding the Potential Applications of Our Computing Infrastructure

Beyond building our initial GPU asset base, we are exploring opportunities to deploy high-performance computing capacity in environments where traditional data center infrastructure may be impractical or costly.

Towards that end, on October 26, 2026, we announced a non-binding letter of intent with Ocean Power Technologies, Inc. (“OPT”) to explore the development of offshore, renewable-powered data center assets.

The proposed collaboration would combine OPT’s PowerBuoy® platforms, which are backed by more than 60 issued patents worldwide, and associated technology with Stratum’s NVIDIA B300 GPUs and integration expertise to evaluate the feasibility of supporting AI inference and other computing workloads in offshore environments.

Under the contemplated arrangement, the companies would seek to demonstrate whether computing infrastructure can operate using renewable energy generated from wave, wind and solar sources, without relying on a power connection to shore. We are working with OPT to advance the proposed collaboration toward a definitive agreement. Subject to reaching such an agreement, our next steps would focus on establishing a framework for the proposed demonstration program, including the integration of our computing assets with OPT’s offshore technology and the evaluation of technical and operational requirements.

We believe this initiative illustrates the potential to extend AI computing infrastructure beyond conventional data centers. Offshore applications could create opportunities for localized data processing in maritime monitoring, offshore energy operations, scientific research and other remote environments.

The proposed demonstration program would also evaluate potential benefits associated with offshore cooling conditions, which could help address one of the significant operating requirements of conventional computing infrastructure. These potential benefits have not yet been demonstrated and would need to be validated through testing.

The collaboration reflects our interest in pursuing innovative applications for our GPU assets and establishing relationships with companies possessing complementary infrastructure and technologies.

Building a Focused Platform for Long-Term Growth

October was an important month for Stratum Holdings. We have begun putting the core elements of our strategy in place, and our focus now shifts to converting that progress into measurable financial results.

Together, these initiatives are intended to reposition Stratum Holdings as a focused AI infrastructure company with tangible computing assets, recurring revenue potential and a leaner operating structure.

Our goal is clear: to position Stratum Holdings to achieve profitability in 2027. We believe the steps we are taking today are establishing the foundation for a stronger, more financially sustainable company.

We believe there is an opportunity to participate in the rapidly evolving AI infrastructure market, and we are working to build a scalable, revenue-generating infrastructure business with the goal of creating long-term shareholder value.

We appreciate your continued confidence and support as we execute this transformation. Our commitment is to remain focused on execution, demonstrate measurable progress and deliver on the strategic and financial objectives we have established.

We believe Stratum’s next chapter will be defined by the business we are building and the results we intend to deliver.

Sincerely,

Nicholas H. Adler

About Wilson Disease

Wilson disease is a rare genetic disorder that affects approximately 1 in 30,000 people worldwide. Caused by mutations in the ATP7B gene, the disease impairs the body’s ability to excrete copper, resulting in toxic copper accumulation in the liver, brain, and other organs and potentially fatal outcomes if untreated.

About ALXN1840

ALXN1840 (tiomolibdate choline, TMC) is a novel first-in-class albumin tripartite complex (ATC) activator under investigation for the treatment of Wilson disease. ALXN1840 rapidly mobilizes and tightly sequesters excess copper in ATCs, suppressing its redox reactivity, limiting oxidative damage, and blocking transport across the blood–brain barrier. Clinical data demonstrate that ALXN1840 improves copper balance by increasing fecal copper excretion. In the Phase 3 pivotal trial, ALXN1840 met the primary endpoint by demonstrating rapid and sustained copper mobilization significantly greater than standard of care over 48 weeks in both previously treated and untreated patients. Durable clinical improvement and a favorable safety and tolerability profile were observed across 645 patient-years of follow-up in 266 patients.

About Monopar Therapeutics Inc.

Monopar Therapeutics is a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company with late-stage candidate ALXN1840 for Wilson disease, and radiopharmaceutical programs including MNPR-101-Zr (Phase 1) for imaging advanced cancers along with MNPR-101-Lu (Phase 1a) and MNPR-101-Ac (late preclinical) for the treatment of advanced cancers. Vancouver, British Columbia, Nov. 02, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Terra Balcanica Resources Corp. (“Terra” or the “Company”) (CSE:TERA; FRA:UB10; OTCQB:TEBAF) is pleased to announce that Terra North Resources Corp. (“Terra North”), in which Terra owns 34.7% equity, has received the final dataset from an airborne survey conducted over it mineral exploration claim immediately east of Fontaine Lake located ca. 55 km north-northeast of Stony Rapids, Saskatchewan. The results outlined below follow those gathered from the Charlot-Neely Lake survey (see the Company’s news release dated October 27th, 2026).

Terra North holds an option to acquire 100% interest in the Project from Fulcrum Metals Canada Ltd. subject to satisfying certain earn-in requirements (see the Company’s news release dated July 3rd, 2024).

Highlights

  • Eight (high confidence) uranium target zones have been identified over the Fontaine Lake claim characterized by clustering of strong, statistically significant uranium peaks;
  • Uranium anomalies chiefly align with the NE-SW trending Grease River Shear Zone and corroborate previous ground findings while thorium/(REE) enrich zones dominate the SW and SE margins of the claim area due to lithological and structural controls, respectively;
  • Coinciding thorium and potassium anomalies in the SW and SE domains transitioning into localized U-dominant hotspot clusters along structural splays are potentially indicative of felsic gneiss / pegmatite margin Rössing-style and polymetallic REE-U mineralization.

Terra Balcanica and Terra North CEO, Dr. Aleksandar (Alex) Mišković, commented: “Our airborne geophysics program continues uninterruptedly and after the very encouraging results from the Beaverlodge district, Terra North has now defined some exceptional uranium targets over its Fontaine Lake claim as well. We are keen to ground truth the findings in the context of the legacy targets identified by Fulcrum’s 2023 field work although the Grease River Fault already appears to be the principal zone of interest with half a dozen U anomalies detected within the claim. We shall also focus on two zones of strong thorium anomalism along the claim margins.”

Survey Parameters
The 1,400.4-line km survey across 59.86 km2 of the Fontaine Lake claims was conducted at 50-metre line spacing along 91° of azimuth with 500-m spaced, N-S oriented tie lines. A16-detector, thermally stabilized, Compton shielded, NaI gamma ray spectrometer mounted on a Cessna A185F Skywagon that flew as a tight drape at the speed of 95-110 knots was operated simultaneously with a Scintrex CS-III magnetometer, sampling at 1,000 Hz to generate detailed maps of magnetic susceptibilities and radioactivity (Figures 1 through 3).

Fontain Lake Geology and GRSZ
The Fontaine Lake claim features the high-grade metamorphic rocks of the Rae Province near the Tantato-Zemlak domain margins and overlaps the Grease River Shear Zone (“GRSZ”) corridor. It is known to contain multiple high radioactivity zones and carries a high potential for intrusive and pegmatite-hosted uranium mineralization. Historic rock chip assays have locally yielded up to 1.4% U3O8. The area is also prospective for REE mineralization given extensive lake sediment anomalies defined along its eastern and NW edge. Historically, minimal exploration program was completed on this claim by CanAlaska in 2008 whose geologists recommended further work.

The principal structural characteristic of Terra North’s Fontain Lake claim is the Grease River Shear Zone, a major, deep-seated regional tectonic boundary. It separates the Paleoproterozoic Beaverlodge tectonic domain to the northwest from the highly deformed Tantato domain, a part of the East Athabasca mylonite triangle, to the southeast. The GRSZ strikes NNE-SSW and cuts diagonally upward through the east-central sector of the exploration claim. It exits toward the top-right corner of the claim as it continues onward toward Selwyn Lake. The GRSZ is a prominent strike-slip brittle-ductile shear zone. It accommodates deep-crustal deformation that was later reactivated during intraplate tectonic events ca. 1.9 to 1.8 billion years ago during the Trans-Hudson Orogeny. The mylonitic rocks making up the northeastern continuation of the shear zone extend well into the backcountry, striking along areas like the southern shore of Selwyn Lake near the border with Northwest Territories. As a major crustal shear, GRSZ provides an excellent conduit for U-bearing fluids along the northern margin of the Athabasca Basin. Intersections with conjugate structures and its splays have shown to host the “Beaverlodge-style” uranium vein occurrences within Fontain Lake area. Currently active exploration properties flanking this structure include the Eagle Plains Shasko Bay Project and SKRR Exploration’s Father Lake project aimed at identifying uranium structural traps.

Fontaine Lake Results: Radiometrics
The dominant NNE–SSW trending GRSZ appears to act as the primary regional plumbing system, focusing hydrothermal uranium mineralization into structural traps as evidenced by the dense cluster of high-grade U3O8 assays and multi-element hotspots aligned along this corridor ( Figure 1b and 2). These anomalies represent the best ground targets to follow up on.

On the Total Count and Ternary maps (Figure 1a and 2), the strong WNW–ESE linear trends manifest as sharp, dark or subdued troughs running parallel to the high-amplitude magnetic dykes. Because diabase is relatively non-radioactive compared to felsic country rocks, these massive dykes create a distinct spectral “shadow” or linear dampening effect in total counts.

The prominent thorium anomalies concentrated in the SW and SE corners of the survey area (blue circles in Figure 2) reflect a fundamental geochemical contrast between its inert nature and hydrothermally mobile uranium. Thorium is an immobile lithophile element and is not readily dissolved by low-temperature hydrothermal fluids. Uranium, however, is easily oxidized and mobilized by hydrothermal fluids, allowing it to be stripped from source rocks and focused structurally along active conduits like the NNE–SSW Grease Fault Shear Zone.

Figure 1. Total gamma-ray radiation counts of the Fontaine Lake claim (above) reveal linear, NNE-SSW airborne radiometric anomalies with up to 3,000 cps dominating southern and western parts of the ca. 60 km2 are. The U map of the Fontaine Lake claim (below) reveals anomalous zones proximal to the trace of the Grease River Shera Zone (yellow line) as well as a  cluster in the northwesternmost corner of the claim.

Alternatively, the strong thorium and REE signatures indicate that the SW and SE structural blocks contain a high density of thorium- and rare-earth-enriched pegmatites, leucogranites, or anatectic granitic melts. These lithologies represent fertile plutons of the high-grade Tantato Domain basement that is naturally enriched in Th and REEs.

While the NNE–SSW Grease Fault Shear Zone controls the epigenetic, structurally hosted uranium mineralization, the Th anomalies map out the thorium- and REE-bearing pegmatitic and granitic source rocks sitting outside the main shear corridor.

Figure 2. Ternary radiometric map of the Fontaine Lake claims combines the relative abundances of potassium (K %-red), uranium (U ppm-green), and thorium (Th ppm-blue) with airborne gamma-ray spectrometer anomalies as candidate U and Th showings. Also shown are the historic U showings. Three domains are noticeable: a) magenta/pink Domains (high K+Th, low U) representing unaltered to weakly altered basement rocks (felsic gneisses, granites, and pegmatites), b) bright green domains (high U relative to K+Th) are characterized by uranium enrichment zones (hydrothermal mobilization or pitchblende-rich horizons), while c) blue domains (high Th) are dominated by heavy-mineral/thorite-bearing, resistant units or thorium-rich intrusive phases. Black corridors signal attenuation either over lakes (e.g., Eddie Lake), or thick glaciofluvial overburden. The Grease River Fault Zone is demarcated by NNE-SSW trending white line. Also shown are assay and ground radiometrics results from the 2023 field season. Uranium anomaly candidates are detected and graded by: i) background removal, ii) candidate testing (total counts exceed a floor and U rises a set number of standard deviations (z-score) above  rolling background, by an absolute min. ppm margin), iii) grading (strength of the coincident total-count peak and K/Th purity), and iv) peak deduplication (adjacent samples of one anomaly are collapsed to a single peak). By overlaying automated hotspot anomaly symbols (classified by confidence grades and element channels), the map becomes the ultimate diagnostic tool for distinguishing primary host-rock lithology from hydrothermal alteration and uranium enrichment.

Fontaine Lake Results: Magnetics
Lithologically, the prominent, linear to arcuate belts of high magnetic intensity running across the southwestern and northeastern sectors of the survey block reflect magnetite-rich lithologies. These typically correspond to mafic granulites, amphibolites, mafic intrusive sills, or iron-formation bands intercalated within felsic gneiss sequences. The middle portion of the survey block is characterized by a broad, subdued magnetic low (Figure 3a). This likely represents a thick panel of felsic to intermediate quartz-feldspathic gneisses, granitoid plutons, or metasedimentary rocks with low modal magnetite content.

Figure 3. a) Levelled and decorrugated Total Magnetic Intensity (TMI) map (above) shows the broad distribution of near-surface and deep crustal magnetic susceptibility. Reds and pinks represent mafic/ultramafic intrusives, iron formations, and gneisses with high magnetite or pyrrhotite content while blues reflect felsic plutons, quartzites, or metasediments; b) the First Vertical Derivative (1VD) map of the Fontaine Lake claims (below) enhances shallow geological sources and sharpens magnetic anomalies by removing regional long-wavelength trends as it highlights the edges and boundaries of magnetic lithologies; c) Tilt Derivative (TDR) normalizes amplitudes to emphasize both shallow and deep magnetic edges, with its zero-contour tracking directly over steep geological contacts (faults or intrusive margins), while d) the Total Horizontal Gradient (THG) measures the maximum rate of horizontal change in the magnetic field, directly mapping the location of geological contacts and fault/shear boundaries.

The 1VD map (Figure 3b) breaks down the broad magnetic highs into sharp, narrow stratigraphic panels, highlighting tight folding, transposition, and compositional layering sub-parallel to the regional northwest-southeast Mackenize dyke swarm (Figure 3b).

Structurally, the most striking features on the TDR & THG maps (Figure 3c and 3d) are the high-amplitude, WNW–ESE to NW–SE trending linear anomalies representing Proterozoic Mackenzie diabase  dykes. The dykes preferentially fill ancient, deep-seated crustal-scale extension fractures and map out the Proterozoic extensional stress field that affected the Rae Province ca. 1.27 billion years ago. These continuous magnetic highs display sharp inflection points and steep gradients on the THG and TDR maps, indicative of major ductile-to-brittle shear zones similar in style to GRSZ. While the dykes themselves are impermeable, their chilled margins and thermal aureoles, as well as any post-emplacement reactivation along the dyke contacts, frequently function as zones of weakness and can localize later (U-bearing) hydrothermal fluids. The Tilt Derivative (TDR) map (Figure 3c) acts as an exceptional edge detector, revealing a dense secondary network of cross-cutting brittle fractures and minor fault splays oriented at high angles to the primary WNW–ESE dike fabric. Truncations, bends and offsets of the dykes (magnetic highs) visible in the 1VD and THG maps point to multiphase deformation, including late-stage brittle fault reactivation that disrupted the older metamorphic fabric. These structural jogs, bends, and cross-cutting offsets are prime candidates for sites of fluid mixing and mineral precipitation.

Summary
The key uranium exploration targets fall into three distinct structural and lithological archetypes:

1. The Grease River Shear Zone (GRSZ) and splays (basement-hosted uranium)
High-density clusters of Grade-1 hotspot anomalies associated with extreme surface radiometrics (up to 53,000 cps) and high-grade surface rock samples (1.08% and 1.44% ) confirm active fluid transport and structural trapping of pitchblende/uranium mineralization along this shear trend. This forms the highest priority for trenching, channel sampling, and drill testing.

2. Shear Zone – Mackenzie Dyke Intersections (Dilatant & Rheological Traps)
Intersections where the WNW–ESE linear magnetic highs (Mackenzie dykes) are cross-cut or truncated by the GRSZ lineaments can serve as rheological traps due to intense mechanical contrast between rigid diabase dykes and surrounding felsic gneisses with localized brittle fracturing, fault breccias, and dilatant jogs appearing during shearing. Iron-rich Fe2+ mafic dyke margins may provide a reducing environment, forcing dissolved U6+ in ascending hydrothermal fluids to precipitate as pitchblende. This is highlighted by anomalous surface samples with 0.11% U3O8 and 1351 ppm Nb situated at structural/dyke contacts in the northeast sector of the claim.

3. Felsic Gneiss / Pegmatite Margin Targets (Rössing-Style & Poly-Metallic REE-U)
Coinciding Th and K anomalies in the SW/SE domains transition into U-dominant hotspot clusters along structural splays might be indicative of high-grade, poly-metallic mineralization where basement-hosted intrusive pegmatites and granites undergo hydrothermal overprinting. Surface assays in these transitional structural settings yield combined high-grade uranium and rare earth anomalies, such as 0.81% U3O8 with 4732 ppm TREE and distinct REE lake sediment trends.

First plaque tool with prospective outcomes data. Faster, sustained LDL-C control: approximately 50% of patients reached goal by 90 days vs. approximately 35% with CCTA alone.

GAMEFILM data highlight high prevalence of heart disease in retired NFL players, underscoring need for advanced plaque assessment

SAN FRANCISCO, Nov. 02, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Heartflow, Inc. (Heartflow) (Nasdaq: HTFL), the leader in AI technology for diagnosing and managing coronary artery disease (CAD), today announced prospective clinical outcomes from the DECIDE registry will be presented at the American Heart Association (AHA) Scientific Sessions 2026. In an evaluation of more than 6,000 well-matched patients, Heartflow Plaque Analysis with Plaque Staging demonstrated a 34% reduction in major cardiovascular disease (CVD) events and half the rate of myocardial infarction (MI) at one year compared to coronary computed tomography angiography (CCTA) alone.

The significant reduction in major CVD events stemmed from meaningful shifts in patient care. By quantifying total plaque volume and staging disease severity, the platform equipped clinicians to optimize drug regimens earlier, driving a 41% early increase in patients achieving low-density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C) goal, as compared to CCTA alone.

“The DECIDE registry answers the core questions in preventive cardiology: Does AI-powered coronary plaque analysis guide medical therapy? Does it empower patients to achieve target lipid goals? And ultimately, does it reduce major CVD events?” said Leslee Shaw, Ph.D., Director of the Blavatnik Family Research Institute at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, New York, and co-lead investigator of the DECIDE Registry. “The one-year findings demonstrate that Heartflow Plaque Analysis provides clinicians with the objective data needed to optimize preventive care earlier and with greater precision, while significantly reducing major CVD events and heart attacks compared to CCTA alone. By directly linking this non-invasive approach to targeted lipid lowering, it helps bridge diagnostic imaging with meaningful risk reduction in everyday practice.”

DECIDE Registry: Transforming Plaque Quantification into Preventive Outcomes
Moderated Digital 21, Nov. 9, 11:06 a.m. CT

Key DECIDE findings regarding use of Heartflow Plaque Analysis:

  • 34% fewer major CVD events (cardiovascular death, MI, revascularization or stroke) vs. CCTA alone and half the rate of MI over the first year.
  • Management changed in >50% of patients by 90 days.
  • 50% reached target LDL-C (<70 mg/dL) by 90 days vs. 35% with CCTA alone, sustained through one year.
  • 18.7 mg/dL average LDL-C reduction at 90 days with a management change, sustained at one year.

GAMEFILM: Heartflow AI Uncovers Hidden Heart Disease in 85% of Retired NFL Players
Moderated Digital 22, Nov. 9, 9:15 a.m. CT

Heartflow will also present findings from its groundbreaking GAMEFILM registry evaluating coronary artery disease in former professional athletes. Despite their history of elite physical conditioning, former football players often face long-term cardiac risks that standard visual tests can miss, with studies showing up to one in three former National Football League (NFL) players die from cardiovascular disease.1

The registry evaluated CAD in 200 retired NFL players using CCTA paired with Heartflow Plaque Analysis. Although fewer than 10% reported exertional symptoms (chest pain or dyspnea), quantitative plaque analysis revealed a high prevalence of hidden disease:

  • Detectable coronary plaque was present in 85% of the former NFL players, despite only 13% having a prior CAD diagnosis.
  • On average, nearly 90% of the detected plaque was soft (non-calcified), which is associated with higher disease risk than calcified plaque and cannot be detected by traditional coronary artery calcium scores.
  • 42% of former players had obstructive CAD (>50% stenosis), 33% had severe or extensive plaque burden, and 29% had functionally significant ischemia.
  • Retired linemen exhibited much higher plaque volumes for their age than non-linemen (63.3rd vs. 31.9th percentile).
  • 88% of players not currently on lipid-lowering therapy expressed willingness to initiate treatment following review of their AI plaque analysis results with a physician.

“Many former players are surprised to learn that even after years of elite training and staying active, coronary artery disease can be quietly building in their arteries, and it remains their greatest long-term health threat,” said Yiannis Chatzizisis, M.D., Ph.D., Professor of Cardiology and Chief of the Cardiovascular Division at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine, and GAMEFILM investigator. “When these former NFL players could see the precise volume and type of plaque in their own arteries with Heartflow Plaque Analysis, nearly 9 in 10 of those not on cholesterol-lowering therapy said they were ready to begin treatment. GAMEFILM is helping us understand the burden of disease in former professional athletes and giving them personalized insights to act on their heart health while there’s still time to make a difference with medication and lifestyle changes.”

Building on its success enrolling retired players from the NFL, National Basketball Association (NBA) and National Hockey League (NHL), the GAMEFILM registry has now expanded to include former players from Major League Baseball (MLB), as well as professional staff from these leagues and U.S. college sports teams. This expansion broadens Heartflow’s initiative to evaluate hidden cardiovascular risk and support proactive, long-term disease management of former professional athletes across major sports.

“Achieving faster, durable lipid control is a vital goal, and seeing that translate into a 34% reduction in one-year major CVD events in the DECIDE data is extraordinary,” said Campbell Rogers, M.D., F.A.C.C., Chief Medical Officer at Heartflow. “From the more than 6,000-patient DECIDE registry to our GAMEFILM registry, the data being presented at AHA prove that Heartflow Plaque Analysis goes beyond detecting disease to altering patient trajectories and connecting non-invasive precision to proactive, life-saving prevention.”

The study targets earlier detection, prevention and treatment of Parkinson’s disease, Alzheimer’s disease and other neurodegenerative conditions including rare dementias

FREMONT, Calif. and HELSINKI, Finland, Nov. 02, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Alamar Biosciences, Inc. (Nasdaq: ALMR) and Nightingale Health Plc (Nasdaq Helsinki: HEALTH, OTCQX: NHLTY, NGHLF) today announced the launch of the UK Biobank vanguard study to measure blood-based biomarkers that are of particular importance for neurodegenerative disease. The UK Biobank Proteomics for Risk Identification and Signatures of brain health in Midlife (UKB-PRISM) study will be conducted in Nightingale’s laboratories using Alamar’s NULISA platform, which is purpose-built to detect low-abundance proteins at a sensitivity not previously achievable at scale, and will measure hundreds of circulating protein biomarkers in 80,000 blood samples from UK Biobank participants. Findings will create one of the world’s largest open-access resources for understanding the early molecular indicators of neurodegeneration.

“Understanding how the brain stays healthy as we age is one of the biggest challenges in medical research,” said Dr. Adam Lewandowski, deputy chief scientist at UK Biobank. “Proteins play a vital role in this process, helping to repair tissue, regulate inflammation and support countless functions throughout the body. Yet we still know relatively little about how they work together to influence brain health. Made possible by the generosity of our participants, these new data will provide an invaluable snapshot of the proteins associated with brain health decades before conditions such as dementia and Parkinson’s disease are diagnosed.”

Neurodegenerative disease represents one of medicine’s most urgent unmet needs. Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia affect more than 55 million people globally and are on track to nearly triple by 2050. Parkinson’s disease, the world’s fastest-growing neurological disorder, affects more than 12 million people today and is projected to exceed 25 million by 2050. In both diseases, biological changes may begin years before diagnosis. By measuring proteins of individuals long before symptoms emerge, this study creates a rare opportunity to understand Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s as overlapping conditions with shared biological roots and to identify the earliest molecular signals when intervention is still possible.

“For decades, the earliest biology of neurodegeneration has been out of reach in blood because the proteins that matter most are present in such small amounts. NULISA was designed to change that,” said Yuling Luo, PhD, founder, CEO and chair of Alamar Biosciences. “Working with Nightingale and UK Biobank, we can now measure those signals across tens of thousands of people, years before symptoms appear, and give researchers everywhere a new way to ask when and why these diseases begin.”

“This study reflects what Nightingale has built: a laboratory platform that delivers high-quality blood biomarker data at population scale. We have already generated metabolomic data on all 500,000 UK Biobank participants, and adding brain health protein biomarkers measured in our laboratories to the same cohort creates a uniquely rich resource for understanding the earliest molecular changes behind dementia, Parkinson’s disease and related conditions. Identifying disease risk years before symptoms appear is the foundation of preventive healthcare, and studies like this show it can be done at the scale that real impact requires,” said Teemu Suna, founder and CEO of Nightingale Health.

The study is funded by Alzheimer’s Research UK, LifeArc, and other funding partners, and is expected to be completed by the end of 2027. Combined with UK Biobank’s uniquely rich imaging, genetic, metabolomic and lifestyle data, these new data will create a powerful resource for researchers worldwide, helping to unlock discoveries that could lead to earlier detection and better treatments for these conditions. Following its completion, the full dataset will be made available to approved researchers worldwide through the UK Biobank Research Analysis Platform.

“The scale of this study, combined with the cutting-edge technologies being used, has the potential to transform our understanding of how dementia starts and progresses,” said Dr. Sheona Scales, director of research at Alzheimer’s Research UK. “Understanding the biological changes that underpin Alzheimer’s disease is essential to developing treatments that can slow or stop its progression. We’re excited by the potential of this study to pave the way for earlier diagnosis and more effective treatments.”

“Rare dementias can be particularly difficult to diagnose, with symptoms that overlap with other conditions and clues that may only become clear when different kinds of health data are brought together,” said Sam Barrell, CEO of LifeArc. “By combining large-scale protein measurements with UK Biobank’s extensive health data, this study will give researchers a valuable resource to investigate the biological changes behind neurodegenerative diseases, including rare dementias. This could help build a better understanding of these conditions and lay the groundwork for more accurate diagnosis in the future.”

FORT MILL, S.C., Nov. 02, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Catheter Precision, a wholly owned subsidiary of Flyte Aviation, Inc. (NYSE American: VJET), today announced that its VIVO system has received FDA 510(k) clearance for expanded labeling in its Indications for Use statement.

The VIVO system is now cleared for a broader patient population, specifically individuals with structural heart disease (SHD) who are undergoing catheter ablation for monomorphic ventricular tachycardia (VT).

Structural Heart Disease (SHD) involves damaged, scarred, or enlarged heart tissue that disrupts the heart’s natural electrical pathways. This structural damage frequently triggers severe arrhythmias, such as Ventricular Tachycardia (VT). While standard care relies heavily on implantable defibrillators and medications, catheter ablation remains underutilized due to long procedural times and inconsistent outcomes.

“This expanded U.S. labeling for VIVO is another milestone in delivering enhanced ablation strategies,” said David Jenkins, CEO of Catheter Precision. “Our clinical data demonstrates that VIVO maintains the same high standards of accuracy and safety in patients with structural heart disease as it does in those without it. Ventricular ablations are inherently complex, but SHD cases present unique challenges because every patient’s anatomy is different. By enabling physicians to visualize a patient’s specific anatomy ahead of time, VIVO improves pre-procedural planning, which can reduce overall procedure times and optimize patient outcomes.”

About VIVO
Catheter Precision’s VIVO™ (View Into Ventricular Onset) is a non-invasive 3D imaging system that enables physicians to identify the origin of ventricular arrhythmias prior to an electrophysiology procedure, potentially streamlining procedural workflow. VIVO has received marketing clearance from the U.S. FDA and carries the CE Mark.

About Catheter Precision
Catheter Precision is an innovative U.S.-based medical device company bringing new solutions to market to improve the treatment of cardiac arrhythmias. It is focused on developing groundbreaking technology for electrophysiology procedures by collaborating with physicians and continuously advancing its products.

Company adds 5,336 SOL, bringing total treasury holdings to 2,600,948 SOL and SOL equivalents

CHAD’s new 14.00% annual dividend rate takes effect today, offering investors one of the highest yields in digital credit

BOCA RATON, FL, Nov. 02, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — DeFi Development Corp. (Nasdaq: DFDV) (the “Company” or “DeFi Dev Corp.”), the first U.S. public company with a treasury strategy built to accumulate and compound Solana (“SOL”), today announced that its total holdings of SOL and SOL equivalents increased by 5,336 SOL since its last update, bringing its treasury to approximately 2,600,948 SOL, up from 2,595,612 SOL.

The Company continues to accumulate SOL as adoption of the Solana network expands, particularly in tokenized equities and other real-world assets.

Tokenization Momentum Continues
The Company remains particularly bullish on tokenization as a long-term driver of Solana adoption. According to data from RWA.xyz, the total value of tokenized real-world assets (“RWAs”) on Solana recently surpassed $5 billion for the first time, reaching approximately $5.1 billion in late October. The milestone reflects accelerating adoption of Solana as infrastructure for traditional financial assets, including tokenized equities, U.S. Treasuries, private credit, and other real-world assets.

The Company believes the continued migration of traditional financial assets onchain represents one of the largest long-term opportunities in digital assets. Solana’s speed, low transaction costs, and expanding institutional ecosystem position the network to capture a meaningful share of this rapidly growing market.

“Tokenization is rapidly moving from an emerging use case to a major driver of blockchain adoption,” said Joseph Onorati, Chief Executive Officer of DeFi Development Corp. “With more than $5 billion in real-world assets now on Solana, we’re seeing traditional finance increasingly embrace the network. We believe this is just the beginning of a much larger shift in how financial assets are issued, traded, and settled. Tokenization will be a massive long-term tailwind for SOL, and we’re continuing to accumulate accordingly.”

CHAD’s New 14% Dividend Rate Takes Effect Today
Effective today, November 2, 2026, the annual dividend rate on the Company’s Variable Rate Series C Perpetual Preferred Stock (Nasdaq: CHAD) has increased from 13.00% to 14.00%, making CHAD the highest-yielding variable-rate digital credit security in the market.

At its $10.00 stated amount, CHAD’s new annual dividend rate equates to $1.40 per share, with cumulative dividends payable each business day when declared.

CHAD offers income-focused investors a differentiated way to participate in the Company’s SOL treasury strategy. Unlike traditional corporate treasuries, which typically hold cash and other low-yielding assets, DeFi Development Corp.’s SOL holdings can generate recurring income through native staking and validator operations. The Company believes this productive treasury creates an attractive foundation for its digital credit offerings.

“Solana’s native yield means our treasury is always working,” added Onorati. “With CHAD now offering a 14% dividend rate, we’re bringing that productivity to income investors in a way that makes their money work harder. We believe CHAD is among the most compelling income opportunities in digital credit today.”

The Company intends to continue growing CHAD as a core component of its long-term capital strategy, providing income-focused investors with an alternative to common equity while supporting continued SOL accumulation.

Agreement includes initial purchase order of RMB 6 million ($900,000)

NEW YORK, Nov. 02, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Baird Medical Investment Holdings Limited (NASDAQ: BDMD) (“Baird Medical” or the “Company”), a global leader in microwave ablation (MWA) technology, today announced that its PRC subsidiary, Nanjing Changcheng Medical Equipment Company Limited, has entered into a distribution agreement with China Resources Pharmaceutical Commercial Group Medical Devices Co., Ltd. (“China Resources Medical Devices”), a subsidiary of China Resources Pharmaceutical Group Limited (Stock Code: 03320.HK).

Under the agreement, China Resources Medical Devices will serve as the exclusive distributor for Baird’s specified MWA products in 19 key markets in the People’s Republic of China, with a focus on regions where Baird has historically had a limited direct commercial presence. On execution of the agreement, China Resources Medical Devices placed an initial order totaling approximately RMB 6 million ($900,000).

“This partnership with China Resources Medical Devices, one of the leading medical technology distributors in the PRC, provides another important validation of our technology. It will further strengthen our leadership position in China and help accelerate access to hospitals in previously untapped regions,” said Haimei Wu, Chairwoman and CEO of Baird Medical. “With their extensive distribution network and nationwide prominence, we believe that adding our products to China Resources’ portfolio could help drive further adoption of our MWA technology throughout the country. We remain committed to growing our business in the Chinese market, and expect that this agreement will play an important role in achieving this goal while we continue to expand in other key global markets, including the U.S.”

With an established leadership position in the PRC market, Baird Medical is working to further expand the penetration of its technologies in the region, while growing its presence in other established markets including the United States where the Company began accelerating the build-out of its commercial infrastructure in late-2025. In addition to its expansion in the U.S. and PRC, Baird Medical continues to broaden its international commercial footprint across markets including Argentina, Vietnam, Indonesia, and Pakistan, with regulatory initiatives underway in additional geographies.
