The company has used the Higg Facility Environmental Module (Higg FEM) to assess and benchmark environmental performance across its facilities, covering areas such as energy, water, waste, wastewater, air, and chemical management.

In the podcast, Ganapathi reported that Gokaldas’ average Higg FEM score increased to 91 percent in 2025, up from 89 percent in 2024. To achieve it, Gokaldas tracks performance at the factory level and focuses corrective action on facilities and areas where performance is weaker.
