An Einride autonomous truck on a public road in the port of Antwerpen.
  • The collaboration will bring NVIDIA Alpamayo into Einride’s safety-first architecture as the Company plans to be the first trucking company to deploy Alpamayo on NVIDIA Hyperion.
  • This collaboration extends Einride’s strategic relationship with NVIDIA, which was announced on September 21, to build the next generation of the Einride Driver on the NVIDIA Hyperion platform.
  • The objective is to cost-effectively scale Einride’s autonomous deployment across highway and point-to-point routes within a freight network already serving customers

STOCKHOLM, Oct. 21, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Einride AB (Nasdaq: ENRD) (“Einride” or the “Company”), a company leading the transition to cost-efficient autonomous and electric freight, today announced a collaboration with NVIDIA to evaluate NVIDIA Alpamayo, an AI reasoning driving model, as part of Einride’s autonomous driving system, the Einride Driver. Einride plans to be the first trucking company to deploy Alpamayo on Hyperion, partnering closely with NVIDIA to advance autonomous trucking through reasoning-based AI.

As part of the collaboration, Einride will adapt Alpamayo to its own vehicles, routes and operating data. The approach is designed to shorten development cycles and reduce the cost of further extending the Einride Driver to new vehicle types and routes. Einride’s data from real freight operations is what turns a general driving model into a capability built for trucking. The project builds toward a live road evaluation planned for the second half of 2027.

Alpamayo is NVIDIA’s Vision Language Action (VLA) model. It interprets the driving scene, proposes how the vehicle should move and explains its reasoning. Within the Einride Driver, Alpamayo will operate inside Einride’s safety architecture, which keeps full authority over the vehicle.

“Our advantage has always been running autonomous freight in the real world, for real customers,” said Henrik Green, chief technology officer at Einride. “Alpamayo brings valuable reasoning capabilities we can build on as we continue to design, build and operate the Einride Driver and our safety architecture. Being the first trucking company in this engagement gives us the opportunity to help shape the model for freight.”

Einride will post-train and distill Alpamayo on its proprietary operational data, testing the model in “shadow mode”. In shadow mode, Alpamayo runs live without controlling the vehicle, allowing its outputs to be evaluated against Einride’s driving planner and human driver performance while existing safety systems remain in full control.

“Physical AI is opening new possibilities for autonomous freight,” said Rishi Dhall, vice president of automotive at NVIDIA. “By combining NVIDIA Alpamayo and NVIDIA Halos safety system with Einride’s real-world freight data and safety engineering on Hyperion, we’re exploring how reasoning-based AI can help trucks navigate complex driving conditions and accelerate development for new routes and vehicle types.”

The collaboration extends the strategic relationship Einride announced on September 21, under which Einride is building the next generation of the Einride Driver on the NVIDIA Hyperion platform, integrated with NVIDIA Halos safety system, and training and validating its driving models with NVIDIA Cosmos and Blackwell infrastructure. NVIDIA Blackwell is a groundbreaking architecture designed for generative AI and accelerated computing, featuring the second-generation Transformer Engine and advanced NVLink interconnects to deliver unprecedented performance and efficiency.

Press Release

Nokia advances AI-RAN toward commercial deployment and physical AI, launches sovereign agentic AI platform for telco autonomy with NVIDIA

  • New capabilities improve radio performance, enable real-time intelligence at the edge and extend governed AI agents across network operations.
  • Nokia AI-native anyRAN software and NVIDIA accelerated computing turn the radio access network into a distributed platform for sensing, intelligence and real-time action.
  • BT, Deutsche Telekom, Elisa and Orange provide growing evidence of AI-RAN progress among European operators.
  • dApps and an expanding infrastructure ecosystem extend the platform for physical-AI and edge-AI applications.

21 October 2026

Berlin, Germany – Nokia today announced the next step in how it is bringing AI-native networks to commercial reality with NVIDIA, with new capabilities that apply AI within radio processing, support intelligence close to where data is generated and extend governed AI agents for cross-domain network operations. Building on the industry’s first commercial AI-RAN platform, announced in July, AI-RAN is being integrated into live networks and moving closer to deployment. Together, Nokia and NVIDIA are creating the real-time network foundation needed for physical-AI applications while giving operators a practical path to improve today’s 5G and 5G Advanced networks and evolve to AI-native 6G.

Customer progress moves AI-RAN closer to deployment
One year ago, Nokia and NVIDIA formed a partnership to add NVIDIA-powered, commercial-grade AI-RAN products to Nokia’s radio access network portfolio. The companies are now applying AI within the 5G signal-processing chain, including channel estimation, beamforming, multi-user MIMO pairing and scheduling. Nokia AI-native anyRAN software, running on NVIDIA Aerial RAN Computer, provides a software-defined foundation for integrating AI-powered radio functions that improve network capacity and performance.

“The next era of connectivity will be defined by networks that do far more than connect: They will distribute intelligence, continuously optimize performance and enable entirely new AI-powered services, including the emerging world of physical AI,” said Pallavi Mahajan, Chief Technology and AI Officer at Nokia. “Together with NVIDIA and leading operators, Nokia is turning this vision into reality by bringing AI into the radio network and across network operations. This creates a trusted, software-defined foundation that helps operators get more from their spectrum today while enabling new Physical AI use cases and opening a practical path toward increasingly autonomous, AI-native 6G networks.”

“The next generation of telecommunications infrastructure will be built on a software-defined architecture,” said Ronnie Vasishta, Senior Vice President, Telecom at NVIDIA. “NVIDIA and Nokia are combining CUDA accelerated computing and AI with Nokia’s network software and expertise to improve radio performance and deploy trusted AI agents. Together, we are advancing software-defined, AI-native 5G and laying the foundation for 6G.”

Recent customer activity provides growing evidence of deployment progress:

  • In Helsinki, Elisa ran voice, mobile data and video analytics simultaneously on the same AI-RAN platform in its 5G network, demonstrating how AI-RAN can support radio and AI workloads in a live network environment. Distributed deployment and the evaluation of customer use cases and commercial AI-RAN services are expected in 2027.
  • BT is preparing to deploy a live-network trial in Birmingham in 2027.
  • Deutsche Telekom and Nokia are developing AI-based channel estimation as part of a broader set of AI-driven capabilities to improve network performance and efficiency. While this is just one element of the broader AI-RAN opportunity, initial laboratory measurements showed typical uplink throughput improvements of 10–15%, with greater gains under more complex radio conditions. The next phase will extend this work with additional AI spectral-efficiency algorithms and field validation.
  • Orange plans to progress on testing AI-RAN in both lab and real network conditions.

Together, these customer programs are part of a broader platform built around three capabilities: AI-led spectral efficiency to extract more capacity from existing spectrum; integrated sensing and communications to help the network understand the physical environment; and localized inference to process intelligence close to where data is generated.

An open ecosystem for AI-RAN applications and deployment
In addition to its work with telecommunications providers, Nokia is extending its AI-RAN ecosystem through distributed applications (dApps) that run at the network edge and enable new services. Nokia’s E3 interface gives these applications real-time access to RAN data, turning the radio network into a programmable platform for sensing and localized intelligence. Using dApps:

  • DeepSig, a pioneer in AI-native wireless communications, is developing spectrum-sensing software that uses existing radio infrastructure to identify RF threats, interference and rogue transmitters.
  • ZaiNar, a Physical AI company building real-time spatial intelligence technology, is integrating its positioning software with Nokia Cloud AI-RAN to enable precise, network-based location capabilities using existing wireless infrastructure, without requiring changes to connected devices or radio hardware.

At NVIDIA GTC Berlin, Nokia is demonstrating integrated sensing and communications, showing how the RAN can detect and understand activity in the physical environment. Nokia and NVIDIA are working with a growing infrastructure ecosystem to provide the deployment foundation for these capabilities:

  • Dell Technologies, Quanta Cloud Technology and Supermicro are supporting flexible NVIDIA Aerial RAN Computer configurations for distributed and centralized deployments that run Nokia 5G anyRAN software alongside AI inference workloads.
  • Red Hat is bringing AI-RAN technologies onto a common cloud-native platform with Red Hat OpenShift, creating a secure foundation for RAN functions and AI workloads on shared infrastructure.

Sovereign agentic AI platform for telco autonomy, co-created by Nokia and NVIDIA
Nokia and NVIDIA are also advancing their collaboration on agentic AI for trusted, sovereign, cross-domain network autonomy. NVIDIA AI Enterprise software and NVIDIA Nemotron models and libraries are being integrated into Nokia’s agentic platform, allowing operators to build, evaluate, deploy and operate telco-specific agents across radio, core, transport and cloud networks. Nokia provides the network intelligence, operational context and governance needed for agents to understand network conditions and take controlled action. Glass-box autonomy maintains operator oversight, while agentic guardrails govern how actions are tested and executed.

The combined architecture, integrated with NVIDIA open models and libraries, supports on-premises, cloud and hybrid deployments, giving operators control over where operational data, models and policies reside. It extends the Nokia and NVIDIA collaboration from AI in the radio network to autonomous operations, creating a common foundation to optimize the RAN, support AI workloads close to where data is generated and enable low-latency autonomy across network domains. Several telecommunication providers, including etisalat UAE, MEO and Airtel, are working with Nokia to identify advanced use cases and integration timelines.

High-performance solutions that link distributed AI infrastructure
At GTC, Nokia will also showcase high-performance IP and optical solutions required to link distributed AI infrastructure. Nokia’s data center connectivity, IP gateway and wide-area networking solutions, including 800G coherent pluggables, help cloud and AI builders scale connectivity across a diverse and growing set of data center locations. By connecting radio, edge and data-center resources as one coordinated infrastructure environment, Nokia’s technology supports AI workloads everywhere.

Why It Matters
An offering that integrates Nutanix technology with Netris technology will enable neoclouds and enterprises to bring secure, multitenant GPU services to market faster, expand their service offering, and accelerate time to revenue. By simplifying how AI infrastructure is deployed and consumed across bare-metal and virtualized environments, neoclouds will be able to scale more efficiently and improve margins as their business grows.

BERLIN, Oct. 21, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — NVIDIA GTC – Nutanix (NASDAQ: NTNX), a hybrid cloud leader and AI platform company, and Netris, the leading provider of Network Automation, Abstraction, and Multitenancy (NAAM) for AI infrastructure, today announced a strategic collaboration to deliver a jointly engineered infrastructure stack designed specifically for neoclouds and enterprises. By combining Nutanix Cloud Platform and Nutanix’s expertise in cloud infrastructure and compute orchestration with the Netris NAAM platform, the joint solution will provide neoclouds and enterprises with a scalable, secure, and multitenant solution across the infrastructure.

As the demand for AI infrastructure accelerates, neoclouds and enterprises are leading the deployment of large GPU clusters to support a broad range of AI workloads. Delivering this infrastructure as a service requires both soft isolation and hard isolation (enforced on networking hardware) that extends across every layer of the infrastructure, from the compute layers and data processing units to the physical switches.

An Automated Multitenant Infrastructure Stack for AI Clouds

Bringing together Nutanix’s cloud infrastructure capabilities with Netris network automation and multitenancy, the joint solution will provide neoclouds and enterprises with a secure, multitenant AI infrastructure stack across bare-metal and virtualized environments, enabling providers to instantly onboard customers, maintain strict isolation between tenants from compute through the physical network, and deliver AI services through a cloud-like self-service experience.

Key highlights of the joint solution for neoclouds and enterprises will include:

  • Automated Network Fabric Operations: Simplifies AI infrastructure deployment by automatically configuring the physical network as tenant resources are provisioned, reducing manual effort, accelerating time to value, and improving operational consistency.
  • Unified Multitenant Networking: Delivers a consistent networking experience across physical and virtual environments by translating Nutanix tenant requirements into the appropriate underlying network services for bare-metal and virtualized GPU nodes.
  • Self-Service Cloud Networking: Provides cloud-grade networking constructs — VPCs, elastic IPs, NAT, and L4 load balancers — through a web console, REST API, and Terraform, enabling infrastructure to be consumed through a self-service, cloud-like experience.
  • High-Performance AI Factory Networking: Supports the connectivity for demanding AI workloads, enabling efficient edge, East-West, North-South, scale-up, and host-based networking traffic flows.
  • End-to-End Tenant Isolation: Extends secure hard and soft tenant isolation across the entire network — from virtual workloads through the physical switching layer — supporting secure, reliable GPU-as-a-Service offerings on shared infrastructure.

Executive Commentary

“Neoclouds and NVIDIA Cloud Partners are at the forefront of the AI transformation, but building the cloud operating stack required to monetize GPU clusters at scale is remarkably complex,” said Ketan Shah, Vice President, Product Management, Nutanix. “By pairing Nutanix’s Agentic AI solution with the Netris NAAM platform, we will provide AI cloud operators with an out-of-the-box solution to accelerate their journey from metals to margins. We chose to partner with Netris, a leader in network automation, abstraction, and multitenancy, to give operators true self-service networking across both bare-metal and virtualized environments. This will enable our partners to deliver secure, multitenant IaaS environments quickly while maintaining the simplicity and enterprise reliability that Nutanix is known for.”

“AI infrastructure is scaling incredibly fast, and the network has to scale with it,” said Alex Saroyan, CEO and Co-Founder of Netris. “An AI cloud needs two layers working as one — Nutanix’s compute orchestration and virtualization, backed by deep operational leadership and experience, and Netris network automation, abstraction, and multitenancy. What makes this collaboration matter is that those layers stay continuously in sync, giving neoclouds and enterprises a single automated stack for secure, multitenant GPU services.”

Analyst Commentary

“AI infrastructure providers are evolving beyond GPU capacity to deliver trusted inference environments, workload orchestration, agent lifecycle management, and managed AI services. The differentiator will be a cloud-like operating model that combines performance with control, isolation, and security at every layer of the stack.”

  • Steve McDowell, Principal Analyst, NAND Research

Findings suggest a dual mechanism of action for REYOBIQ against cancer cells

New findings revealed potential dual mechanism as combinations with checkpoint blockade further enhanced REYOBIQ therapeutic action in multiple cancers

HOUSTON, Oct. 21, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Cerenome, Inc. (Nasdaq: CNSY) (“Cerenome” or the “Company”) today announced that new preclinical data presented at the 16th Biennial Rivkin Ovarian Cancer Research Symposium illustrate the emerging immunomodulatory properties of REYOBIQ™ (rhenium Re186 obisbemeda), its lead investigational targeted radiotherapeutic. The Ovarian Cancer Research Alliance sponsored the symposium, held October 16–18, 2026, in Philadelphia. In two mouse models of aggressive epithelial ovarian cancer, treatment with rhenium (186Re) obisbemeda (rhenium-186 nanoliposome, 186RNL), the active agent in REYOBIQ, was associated with tumor injury and changes in the tumor microenvironment. Combination treatment with anti-PD-1 checkpoint blockade also showed improved antitumor activity.

“Turning ‘cold’ or immunologically resistant tumors into ‘hot’ or immunologically responsive tumors is the major limitation for the broader use of checkpoint inhibitors,” said Eric J. Daniels, M.D., Cerenome’s Chief Development Officer. “REYOBIQ delivers targeted radiation that injures the tumor, activates further DNA-damage, p53, and apoptosis programs within 24 hours, turning on the innate immune response, while simultaneously lowering IL-10 and macrophage-driven immunosuppression. This sequence may convert cold tumors like ovarian, pancreatic and many CNS cancers, into hot ones. This opens up new combination strategies for these patients. Cerenome, along with its academic collaborators, are now characterizing REYOBIQ’s immunomodulatory activity further across a board range of tumors.”

More Than a Dose of Radiation

REYOBIQ is designed to deliver a very high dose of beta radiation directly to the tumor or the fluid compartment around it, while minimizing exposure to the rest of the body. Its well-established mechanism of action is radiation-induced DNA damage and tumor cell death. A growing body of translational evidence suggests REYOBIQ may also act substantially on the immune system. In this proposed sequence, local radiation injures tumor cells that then triggers interferon signaling, antigen presentation, cytotoxic T cell and natural killer (NK) cell recruitment to the tumor environment, and dampens immunosuppressive signals.

Ovarian Cancer Models Illustrate the Mechanism

Henriette Balinda, Ph.D., and colleagues in the laboratory of Andrew Brenner, M.D., Ph.D., at The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio (UT Health San Antonio) presented the poster, titled, “186Rhenium-Nanoliposome (186RNL) Remodels the Tumor Microenvironment in Preclinical Ovarian Cancer Models.” Epithelial ovarian cancer responds poorly to checkpoint inhibitors given alone, in part because its tumor microenvironment suppresses the immune system. That makes it an attractive model for testing whether local radiation can reverse that suppression. The poster also tracked immune changes in ascites (abdominal fluid).

The poster will be available on the Publications page of Cerenome’s website.

Key scientific findings:

  • Tumor injury starts the response: Single-cell RNA sequencing showed that DNA-damage, p53 and apoptosis (cell-death) programs switched on within 24 hours of treatment.
  • The immune system is then activated: By Day 28, interferon signaling, innate immunity, and antigen-presentation programs had increased, and macrophage-associated immunosuppressive programs had decreased.
  • Lower immunosuppressive signaling: 186RNL substantially lowered IL-10, an immunosuppressive cytokine, compared with untreated controls.
  • Effector immune cells shift the balance: When 186RNL was combined with anti-PD-1, immune cells (CD45+), T cells (CD3+), CD8+ cytotoxic T cells, CD4+ effector T cells, and NK cells all rose, while monocytes fell. The immune response was dominated by CD8+ T cells. It peaked at 24 hours and lasted through Day 28. CD8+ T-cell activation markers (CD25 and CD69) were higher with the combination than with anti-PD-1 alone.
  • Dose-dependent antitumor activity: In the ID8agg model, 186RNL improved survival in a dose-dependent manner across doses of 0.075 to 1.257 mCi (p = 0.0003). Bioluminescence imaging showed the deepest and longest-lasting tumor suppression at the highest dose.
  • Better outcomes with checkpoint blockade: 186RNL plus anti-PD-1 extended median survival to 65 days, longer than control or either agent alone. The combination also reduced tumor burden, and tissue samples showed minimal remaining tumor in the omentum. Weight loss was brief, and the combination showed no evidence of substantial added toxicity.

“Ovarian cancer has responded poorly to checkpoint inhibitor monotherapy, in part because the tumor environment suppresses the immune system,” said Andrew Brenner, M.D., Ph.D., Professor-Research, Kolitz Chair in Neuro-Oncology, UT Health San Antonio. “In these models, REYOBIQ or 186RNL caused early DNA damage in tumor cells, followed by interferon signaling and immune activation. The combination with anti-PD-1 increased CD8+ T cells and NK cells and lowered immunosuppressive signals. Those are the changes you want to see and support an understanding of how REYOBIQ may be used in the future to make checkpoint therapy more effective.”

Recently completed C$70.4 million financing has strengthened balance sheet; permitting advancing for Bellville, Texas production facility; securityholder vote on Delaware redomicile set for October 29; lead commercial opportunities move into negotiation with closings expected within months; defense division advancing multiple U.S. opportunities

AUSTIN, Texas, Oct. 21, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — HydroGraph Clean Power Inc. (CSE: HG) (OTCQB: HGRAF) (“HydroGraph” or the “Company”) today provided a corporate progress update on its 2026 objectives, including a strengthened balance sheet following its upsized C$70.4 million bought deal financing, advancement of its planned Texas large-scale graphene manufacturing facility and the upcoming special meeting of securityholders to approve its proposed redomicile to the United States.

“We are executing on our plan to move HydroGraph from technology development to commercial production,” said Kjirstin Breure, President and Chief Executive Officer of HydroGraph. “At the start of 2026, we set a clear series of goals for this transition, and we have now achieved most of them, including securing U.S. EPA and UK and EU REACH regulatory clearances, opening our new Austin headquarters with three Hyperion Reactors on site, launching our high-concentration Fractal Graphene Paste™, and securing both the site for our large-scale manufacturing facility in Bellville, Texas and a long-term acetylene supply agreement with Western International.

“With these milestones in place, we believe that HydroGraph is increasingly positioned to supply high volumes of pristine graphene for industrial-scale applications. Our two remaining 2026 goals are securing our first commercial purchase orders and advancing our work with the U.S. federal government. Both are on moving forward.

“On the commercial side, multiple of our most advanced customer engagements have moved from evaluation to commercial negotiation, and we expect to enter into the first of those agreements within the coming months. In parallel, we are advancing a dedicated defense division focused on highly engineered graphene solutions for the U.S. military and other federal interests. These initiatives have the potential to provide both near-term revenue opportunities upon commencement of a program and larger longer-term opportunities as solutions progress toward qualification and deployment.”

Key 2026 milestones to date include:

  • Closing of an upsized bought deal offering on August 25, 2026, for gross proceeds of C$70.4 million, including full exercise of the over-allotment option, at C$6.80 per unit, the highest offering price in the Company’s history.
  • Appointment of Grant Thornton as the Company’s auditor beginning with fiscal year 2026, as part of the Company’s redomiciling to the United States.
  • Filing and mailing of the management information circular for a Special Meeting of Securityholders to be held October 29, 2026, to approve the redomicile of HydroGraph to the United States as a Delaware corporation.
  • Receipt of a certificate of occupancy for the Austin headquarters, bringing both the administrative and development/production areas of the facility to full operational status. With three on-site Hyperion Reactors, the facility has capacity of up to 30 tons of graphene per year. The Company celebrated the opening with a visit from U.S. Representative John Carter (TX-31).
  • Initial steps with government, industry and research partners to create a dedicated U.S. graphene innovation consortium comparable to the Graphene Engineering Innovation Centre (GEIC) at the University of Manchester in the United Kingdom. HydroGraph is taking a leadership role in steering its development. The innovation center is being structured to serve aerospace, defense and national security interests; the Company’s defense research partnerships are expected to accelerate its development.
  • Advancement of permitting for the Bellville, Texas manufacturing facility, which is expected to open in the first half of 2027 with initial capacity of approximately 60 tons per year, then anticipated to scale to approximately 360 tons per year in the first phase and more than 750 tons per year in the second phase. The facility will receive acetylene feedstock by dedicated pipeline under a 10-year supply agreement with Western International.
  • Commercial launch of Fractal Graphene Paste™, a water-based dispersion containing 20% graphene by weight, compared with approximately 1% to 5% for typical commercial graphene dispersions, and a shelf life of more than two years. More than 30 customers have received samples for evaluation in applications including coatings, concrete and construction materials, thermal management and elastomers.
  • Advancement of the Company’s commercial pipeline, with multiple of the most advanced customer evaluations now moving from technical qualification and scale up into commercial negotiation. These discussions cover pricing, volumes and supply terms, and the Company expects the first of these opportunities to convert into purchase orders or supply agreements within the coming months.
  • Advancement of the Company’s defense division, which is focused on highly engineered graphene solutions for U.S. national security interests. The Company is in active negotiations for multiple research partnerships that include funding for the work to be performed. Some programs require specialized research and development and carry longer development cycles than the Company’s commercial applications, with defined milestones that the Company expects to announce as they are achieved. The Company sees revenue opportunities from these initiatives that are both immediate upon commencement of a program and longer term as solutions progress toward qualification and deployment.
  • Expansion of the Company’s intellectual property portfolio across multiple jurisdictions, with new patent applications filed or in preparation covering recent HydroGraph innovations and products.
  • Continued expansion of the HydroGraph team, particularly in research and production roles, to support increasing commercial activity and the ramp to full production at the Bellville facility.

BERLIN, Oct. 21, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — NVIDIA GTC — Nutanix (NASDAQ: NTNX), a hybrid cloud leader and AI platform company, today announced it is collaborating with NVIDIA, Supermicro, and Netris to deliver new AI solutions that aim to simplify the infrastructure required for production AI and help organizations bring new capabilities online faster. By combining Nutanix software with leading hardware, networking, and silicon technologies, Nutanix aims to help enterprises deploy and operate production AI environments more efficiently at scale.

As organizations push more AI workloads into production, capacity constraints and operational complexity can make it harder to move quickly. Nutanix and its partners are working to simplify that path to make it easier to bring AI into production faster and accelerate time to value.

“Organizations need more than just advanced infrastructure to move agentic AI into production – we believe they need an AI cloud that simply connects intelligence, agents, enterprise applications, and data across CPUs, GPUs, virtual machines, containers, on-premises environments, and cloud,” said Thomas Cornely, Executive Vice President, Product Management at Nutanix. “Through our collaboration with NVIDIA, Supermicro, and Netris, we plan to help customers accelerate deployments of agents and AI services on a unified platform with built-in security, performance, and governance.”

Extending Agentic AI to the CPU Layer with NVIDIA Vera

As enterprises adopt agentic AI at scale, they are anticipated to require infrastructure that can support increasingly demanding workloads across the full AI environment, not just GPU-intensive tasks. Agentic applications combine inference with tool calls, code execution, retrieval, orchestration, and outcome processing. As these workflows scale, CPU performance is expected to become essential for completing the steps between GPU operations, reducing delays, and maximizing overall AI-factory efficiency. To help ensure this critical compute path does not become a bottleneck, Nutanix plans to work towards Day Zero support for NVIDIA Vera CPUs, beginning with NKP Bare Metal, to serve highly performance-sensitive AI factory environments, with planned expansion to virtualized Nutanix environments.

By pairing NVIDIA’s purpose-built CPU architecture – engineered for high-speed agent execution and reduced latency – and NVIDIA OpenShell to create safe, private runtime environments for agents with NKP, the collaboration aims to give organizations a predictable, high-performance foundation for their most advanced AI agents.

This support is expected to give organizations greater flexibility in how they safely deploy agentic AI while simplifying operations with a consistent cloud operating model.

Nutanix and Supermicro Take on Runaway AI Costs with Jointly Engineered System for Private Inference

Nutanix and Supermicro are announcing plans for a jointly engineered AI infrastructure solution built around validated Supermicro server systems. By combining Supermicro servers and NVIDIA GPUs with Nutanix Agentic AI (NAI) and NVIDIA Spectrum-XTM Ethernet networking, the solution is being designed to help reduce custom configuration and integration delays, with the goal of helping enterprises get on-premises GPU capacity and take on runaway AI costs with a jointly engineered system powered by NAI for private inference.

As AI requirements grow, the architecture is expected to be able to scale GPU capacity to meet evolving requirements. Nutanix provides an AI cloud control plane and AI storage purpose-built to support workloads with resilient operations and high-throughput data workflows. Customers are anticipated to gain a predictable path to deploy, manage, and scale AI inference workloads without assembling and integrating a complex, multivendor environment.

Nutanix and Netris: Making Multitenant AI Infrastructure Easier to Deploy and Operate

For NVIDIA Cloud Partner reference architectures, multitenancy is designed to extend across AI infrastructure, including the physical network. In dynamic neocloud environments, operators also must be able to automate network access and ensure tenant isolation as customers, workloads, and GPU allocations change. Nutanix and Netris are collaborating to automate this network-layer multitenancy and turn complex GPU infrastructure into secure, cloud-like, multitenant AI services.

Nutanix will provide the foundation for compute across virtual machines, containers, CPUs, and GPUs, along with storage, security, Kubernetes, and Nutanix Agent Gateway, model-as-a-service and AI platform services. Netris will provide network automation, abstraction, and multitenancy across the physical network fabric, with hard isolation (enforced on networking hardware) from compute through the physical network. Together, the integrated solution will provide a cloud-like self-service operating experience across bare-metal and virtualized AI infrastructure, helping providers instantly onboard tenants and deliver AI services more efficiently.

Analyst Commentary

“Nutanix built its enterprise business by simplifying virtualized infrastructure and more recently containerized workloads,” said Don Gentile, Analyst, Data Platforms and Resiliency, HyperFRAME Research. “Now it’s extending that expertise to bare- metal AI systems, agent execution, private inference, and multitenant cloud services. Through innovation and targeted partnerships, Nutanix is advancing a common cloud operating model that enterprises and service providers have long wanted: consistent management, automation, and choice across increasingly diverse infrastructure.”

Ecosystem Commentary

“AI agents need fast CPUs to execute code, use tools and process data between model calls,” said Hannah Coutand, Director of Product Marketing for Vera CPU at NVIDIA. “NVIDIA Vera is purpose-built for this work, and our collaboration with Nutanix will help enterprises bring high-performance agentic AI into production with a consistent cloud operating model.”
