Geneva, Switzerland, Sept. 22, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) —

SEALSQ Corp (NASDAQ: LAES) (“SEALSQ” or “Company”), a company that focuses on developing and selling Semiconductors, PKI, and Post-Quantum technology hardware and software products, and its parent company WISeKey International Holding Ltd (SIX: WIHN; NASDAQ: WKEY), today announced the continued expansion of the SEALSQ–WISeKey Quantum Highway™, an interconnected sovereign technology infrastructure designed to link strategic capabilities across Switzerland, Spain, France, the United States and India, and ultimately extending into space through WISeSat.

The SEALSQ–WISeKey Quantum Highway™ is designed to connect specialized centers of excellence rather than concentrate critical technologies in a single location. Together, these centers are intended to form an end-to-end chain of trust covering secure semiconductor and ASIC design, post-quantum security, semiconductor personalization, Root of Trust and PKI, photonics, quantum computing and quantum-secure satellite communications.

The Quantum Highway architecture spans: Silicon → Post-Quantum Security → Root of Trust → Photonics → Quantum → Space

A major new component is the planned Post-Quantum Semiconductor and Cybersecurity Center in the Canton of Jura, Switzerland. Previously announced by WISeKey, SEALSQ and the Republic and Canton of Jura, the project contemplates an investment of CHF 40–60 million and has the potential to create approximately 150 qualified jobs within five years and more than 250 over the longer term. The center would combine SEALSQ’s post-quantum semiconductor expertise with Jura’s internationally recognized capabilities in microtechnology, precision manufacturing and industrial engineering.

Jura could further strengthen a broader Swiss Quantum Technology Corridor connecting Geneva, Lausanne, Jura and space. Geneva provides WISeKey’s Root of Trust and PKI infrastructure; Lausanne contributes advanced photonics through Miraex; Jura would add semiconductor personalization, testing, certification and future ASIC capabilities; and WISeSat could extend this chain of trust into secure orbital infrastructure.

This Swiss corridor connects directly with the wider international Quantum Highway. In Spain, Quantix Edge Security is developing semiconductor capabilities in Murcia, supported by a planned investment of approximately €40 million, while La Línea de la Concepción provides an additional connection to post-quantum communications and WISeSat activities.

In France, SEALSQ’s operations provide secure-element and post-quantum semiconductor engineering, while its subsidiary IC’ALPS, provides ASIC and mixed-signal design capabilities. Together with the Grenoble technology ecosystem, these capabilities are positioned to support the development of emerging quantum-computing technologies. In the United States, SEALSQ’s investment in EeroQ connects the Quantum Highway with quantum computing based on electrons on helium. In India, cooperation with Kaynes is intended to develop local capabilities in post-quantum semiconductor design, testing and secure personalization while connecting these activities with the Group’s space ecosystem.

The final extension is space. Through the Quantum Spatial Orbital Cloud (QSOC), SEALSQ and WISeSat plan to combine post-quantum technologies, quantum-generated trust and satellite connectivity to create secure orbital infrastructure, with a roadmap that contemplates up to 100 satellites.

The result is an interconnected sovereign infrastructure spanning: Spain ↔ France ↔ Switzerland ↔ United States ↔ India ↔ Space

A secure semiconductor could therefore be designed in France, securely personalized in Spain, Switzerland or India, anchored to WISeKey’s Root of Trust in Geneva, interconnected through Swiss photonics, linked to quantum-computing environments in Europe or the United States, and ultimately extended into orbit through WISeSat.

As Carlos Moreira, Founder and CEO of WISeKey and SEALSQ, commented: “The Quantum Highway is becoming the physical map of our sovereign quantum strategy. We are connecting specialized centers rather than concentrating critical technologies in one location, creating an integrated chain of trust from semiconductor design and post-quantum security to quantum computing and space. We are building a chain of trust from silicon to quantum, and from quantum to space. Our objective is to build a trusted technology framework that extends from silicon to quantum and from quantum to space.”

About SEALSQ:

Multi-year financing framework expands access to growth capital and provides increased financial flexibility as SafeSpace Global

KNOXVILLE, Tenn., Sept. 22, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — SafeSpace Global Corporation (OTCID: SSGC) (“SafeSpace Global” or the “Company”), an applied multimodal AI-powered physical safety and security technology company, today announced that it has entered into financing agreements providing the Company with access to up to approximately $11 million in potential capital, subject to the terms and conditions of the respective agreements.

The financing package consists of an equity purchase agreement providing up to $10 million of equity financing capacity over a commitment period of up to 36 months, and a senior secured promissory note for $500,000 with an additional $500,000 in funding upon the Company fulfilling certain obligations.

The Company believes the financing structure expands its access to growth capital and provides additional financial flexibility as SafeSpace Global continues executing its core vertical broadening and multi-channel revenue growth strategy.

Scott M. Boruff, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of SafeSpace Global, commented:

“We believe this financing represents an important step in strengthening SafeSpace Global’s capital position as we enter what we believe will be a transformational period for the Company. Rather than relying on a single capital raise, we now have a financing framework designed to provide access to capital over an extended period as we execute our growth strategy.

“We believe having access to up to $10 million through the equity facility, together with the additional note financing, gives us greater flexibility to invest behind our technology, commercialization efforts and strategic opportunities while continuing to build the infrastructure required to scale SafeSpace Global.

“Our objective is straightforward: build a durable company with the technology, capital resources and commercial relationships necessary to pursue the significant opportunities we see across physical safety, security and the overall threat intelligence space.”

CHICAGO, Sept. 22, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Mondelēz International, Inc. (Nasdaq: MDLZ) today announced the global launch of Toblerone Diamond Truffles with Biscoff®, a new collaboration that brings together two of the world’s most iconic snacking brands. The partnership with Lotus Bakeries, the maker of Biscoff®, marks a new chapter in Toblerone’s premium chocolate evolution and its commitment to delivering innovative, indulgent experiences.

As premium chocolate continues to outpace growth across the broader confectionery category, Toblerone Diamond Truffles with Biscoff® meet rising consumer demand for unexpected, elevated flavor combinations. It is a natural next step for a brand that has never been square.

Each diamond-shaped truffle is individually crafted from smooth Toblerone milk chocolate, filled with rich Biscoff® spread, and finished with crunchy honey-almond nougat pieces. The result is the unmistakable caramelized taste and texture of Biscoff®, elevated by Toblerone’s signature chocolate craftsmanship.

In 2024, Toblerone introduced its distinctive diamond-shaped truffles to the market, marking a bold step beyond the brand’s legendary triangular bar. The launch proved a resounding category success, redefining what consumers expect from premium boxed chocolates. Now, the addition of Biscoff® takes this innovation further with a partnership set to captivate chocolate lovers worldwide.

“Toblerone has always stood for being never square and celebrating unapologetic indulgence. With our diamond-shaped truffles already proving a category success, combining them with globally loved Biscoff® was a natural next step,” said Iain Livingston, President, Toblerone & World Travel Retail, Mondelēz International. “People look for surprising combinations of familiar tastes, and this is a collaboration that only two icons could bring to life. We couldn’t be more excited to share it with the world.”

The exclusive Costco partnership represents a landmark moment for Mondelēz International and its Toblerone brand, marking the first time the company has partnered with Costco to launch a product range on a global scale. It is a further testament to the strength of both the Toblerone brand and the universal appeal of Biscoff®.

“Biscoff®‘s unique caramelised taste and crunchy texture have become a global phenomenon, loved across cultures and age groups,” said Isabelle Maes, Chief Marketing Officer, Lotus Bakeries. “Partnering with Toblerone, a brand synonymous with quality and indulgence, allows us to bring our iconic Biscoff® biscuit and spread experience to consumers in an entirely new and exciting format.”

Toblerone Diamond Truffles with Biscoff® are available in two formats designed for gifting, sharing, or personal indulgence. They can be found in some Costco stores as of now, with more to follow as shelves are filled.

  • 495g premium box: An exclusive format launching with Costco across the United States, Canada, Taiwan, Australia, United Kingdom, Spain, France, Sweden, Iceland, and New Zealand.
  • 180g sharing box: Available in the United Kingdom, Ireland, Switzerland, and Australia, with additional markets to follow.

About Toblerone
In 1908, Theodor Tobler and Emil Baumann invented a unique chocolate: Toblerone. “Toblerone” is a portmanteau of “Tobler” and “Torrone,” the Italian term for honey-almond nougat. Its distinctive triangular shape has been recognised around the world ever since. Today, production remains based in Bern Brünnen, where employees work with great passion every day, producing up to 4 million Toblerone products daily, with around 90 percent of all Toblerone sold worldwide manufactured right there in Bern.

Toblerone has never been square. Not in shape. Not in spirit. And not in ambition. Never Square is the belief that the best things in life refuse to conform, and that the most interesting gifts are rarely the obvious ones.

About Biscoff®
Since 1932, Biscoff® has been delighting consumers’ taste buds with its delicious caramelised taste and crunchy texture. Originally from Belgium but now loved all over the world, Lotus Biscoff® cookies were first brought to market by Jan Boone Sr., who created a caramelised cookie using only natural ingredients. This unique recipe and cookie remain the basis of three hero products: the original Lotus® Biscoff® cookie, the Lotus® Biscoff® sandwich cookie, and the Lotus® Biscoff® spread. Whether enjoyed at home, on the go, at the office, or on a flight, Biscoff® provides everyone around the world with a unique moment to truly enjoy.
