ASM, a materials discovery company and global leader in semiconductor wafer processing equipment, building on its leadership in atomic layer deposition and epitaxy, launches its XP8® Vertos™ Flowable Carbon, the market’s first plasma-enhanced chemical vapor deposition (PECVD) flowable carbon film. This innovation combines gap fill and planarization in a single PECVD process, reducing process complexity, improving topography control, and enabling 3D scaling. With initial deployment in high-volume manufacturing and applicability across both logic and memory devices, this next-generation patterning technology positions ASM to address a broader set of future patterning challenges as semiconductor scaling continues.
For more than two decades, chipmakers have relied on conventional carbon films not designed for the demands of modern 3D device architectures, which are reaching their limits in gap fill performance, topography control, and patterning fidelity. Vertos™ Flowable Carbon consolidates those critical patterning steps into a single platform, simplifying integration and reducing the number of process cycles required to achieve topography control.
As logic and memory scaling advances into complex 3D architectures, integration schemes that depend on multi-step fill, planarization, and patterning sequences increase risks to both yield and throughput.
“The industry’s ability to continue scaling increasingly complex devices depends as much on materials innovation as it does on architecture and design. Vertos™ Flowable Carbon demonstrates how ASM continues to translate materials discovery into manufacturing solutions that solve tomorrow’s integration challenges,” said Hichem M’Saad, Chief Executive Officer. “Every chip that ships with this technology represents faster, more efficient AI performance for the people and industries that depend on it.”
The semiconductor market is projected to reach $1.5 trillion in 2026 according to the Semiconductor Industry Association. Driven by the AI hypercycle and accelerating compute demand, chipmakers are scaling devices into increasingly complex 3D architectures, creating the need for new materials and process approaches to sustain performance gains. Materials innovation is now as critical as architectural design in enabling that progress. Vertos™ Flowable Carbon addresses that need, providing a purpose-built patterning solution for the complexity of next-generation devices.
“Conventional carbon films deposit material that conforms to the feature shape, which means topography problems propagate upward and require additional process steps to correct. Vertos™ Flowable Carbon changes that entirely. The material flows into the feature, fills from the bottom up, and self-planarizes, delivering a flat, uniform surface ready for the next patterning step,” said Tyler Sample, Vice President PECVD Key Product Unit Head. “The combination of engineered flowability, thermal stability, and area selective properties in a single PECVD platform is something the market has not seen before, and it opens a clear path forward for device architectures that existing carbon film technology cannot support.”

Flowable Carbon delivers a flat, uniform surface ready for the next patterning step.

Vertos™ Flowable Carbon is a novel PECVD process that fills even the most complex high-aspect-ratio features without voids or seams and self-planarizes across the wafer. The process operates within an all-in-one PECVD system, eliminating the need for downstream chemical mechanical planarization or etch-back steps, reducing both cost and defect risk in manufacturing. Unique film properties include improved planarization across substrates with diverse pattern density, increased thermal stability, and area selective deposition characteristics. This combination makes Vertos™ Flowable Carbon a scalable approach to patterning across current and future technology nodes.

Expanded program includes 4,000 m at Aljo and continued advancement of key regional targets, including Nahanni, Carr and Hawker

SASKATOON, Saskatchewan, Sept. 22, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — GFG Resources Inc. (TSXV: GFG | OTCQB: GFGSF) (“GFG” or the “Company”) provides an update on its 2026 exploration activities and announces an expanded exploration program at its 100%-owned Goldarm Property (“Goldarm” or the “Property”) in the Timmins Gold District of Ontario. (See Figures 1-6)

Results from the Company’s 82-hole sonic overburden drilling program, integrated with diamond drilling, till geochemistry, biogeochemistry and geological interpretation, continue to strengthen GFG’s regional targeting model and have identified multiple priority areas for follow-up.

Most notably, work at Hawker has outlined a large, multi-kilometre gold-in-till and bedrock anomaly while continued work at Nahanni has expanded the exploration opportunity beyond the areas tested by first-pass diamond drilling earlier this year.

Together with a growing pipeline of earlier-stage targets, these results reinforce GFG’s view that significant portions of Goldarm remain underexplored and provide multiple opportunities for new gold discoveries beneath extensive glacial cover. Importantly, this regional discovery upside is complemented by Aljo, where strong drill continuity and an increasingly well-defined mineralized system provide an opportunity to systematically expand a proven gold system and advance it toward a maiden resource.

Highlights:

  • Hawker emerging as a compelling new discovery target. Sonic drilling has outlined a broad, approximately 2.5 kilometre (“km”) long gold-in-till anomaly across a favourable package of volcanic rocks and multiple regional structural corridors.
  • Exceptional gold-grain response at Hawker remains open. Sonic hole GLM-R-073 returned 375 total gold grains over 16.3 metres (“m”) till interval, with strong anomalism extending through the till profile to bedrock. Importantly, GLM-R-073 is the northernmost hole drilled at Hawker and the northernmost hole of GFG’s entire 82-hole sonic program.
  • Recent sonic anomalies validate Nahanni as a new gold discovery corridor. First-pass drilling intersected gold mineralization at all three target areas tested across an approximately 6 km corridor, including a peak result of 11.20 grams of gold per tonne (“g/t Au”) over 0.7 m within 1.97 g/t Au over 6.2 m. Subsequent sonic drilling has identified widespread gold-in-till anomalism along approximately 4 km of strike, including priority anomalies that remain untested by diamond drilling.
  • Regional pipeline of gold targets continues to grow. Carr and several additional targets are being advanced through integrated sonic drilling, till geochemistry, biogeochemistry, prospecting and geological interpretation, while approximately 1,100 additional tree-bark samples are planned across broad portions of Goldarm.
  • Strong continuity and growth potential at Aljo. Recent drilling has extended the Hangingwall (“HW”) Zone to approximately 300 m vertically, where it remains open, and has improved the Company’s understanding of the geometry and continuity of the mineralized system.
  • 4,000 m of additional drilling at Aljo. The next phase will begin in Q4 with a focus on expansion at depth and testing the eastern and northwestern extensions of the broader Aljo system.
  • Multiple value drivers. With Barrick funding and operating exploration at the Pen Gold Project, GFG is positioned to focus its treasury and technical resources on its 100%-owned Goldarm discovery platform while retaining significant exposure to exploration success at Pen.

Brian Skanderbeg, President and CEO of GFG, commented, “Our regional work is increasingly demonstrating the discovery potential and optionality we have across Goldarm. Hawker has quickly developed into one of the most compelling undrilled targets on the Property, with a large gold-in-till footprint, strong multi-element geochemistry, favourable structures and our strongest gold-grain response occurring at the northern edge of the current sonic drill coverage. Further overburden and bedrock drilling will be used to refine and vector in preparation for diamond drilling in Q1.

“At Nahanni, first-pass drilling already confirmed a new gold-bearing corridor over six kilometres, and our subsequent sonic work is identifying additional anomalies outside the areas tested to date. This is exactly what our regional exploration strategy is designed to do — use multiple datasets to identify large prospective systems, progressively refine the best targets and advance them toward drilling.

“With Aljo continuing to grow, Hawker advancing toward initial drilling, Nahanni moving into follow-up and a deep regional pipeline developing behind them, we believe Goldarm provides GFG with multiple opportunities to make meaningful new discoveries. Combined with Barrick funding exploration at Pen, GFG is very well positioned to aggressively pursue discovery and build value across our Timmins portfolio.”

Goldarm – Building a District-Scale Discovery Pipeline

Goldarm encompasses approximately 263 km², more than 30 km of prospective strike and extensive portions of the Pipestone and North Pipestone deformation corridors within the Timmins Gold District.

Large areas of Goldarm are concealed beneath glacial cover and have received limited systematic historical exploration.

GFG is using an integrated exploration approach combining:

  • sonic base-of-till and top-of-bedrock drilling;
  • conventional till sampling;
  • biogeochemical sampling;
  • prospecting and geological mapping;
  • geophysical and structural interpretation; and
  • diamond drilling.

This strategy is designed to progressively advance targets from large regional anomalies to focused, drill-ready opportunities.

The Company’s 82-hole sonic program has already identified multiple new gold and alteration trends and has played an important role in advancing Hawker, Nahanni, Carr and other emerging regional targets.

Hawker – Large-Scale Anomaly Advancing Toward Drilling

Hawker has emerged as one of GFG’s highest-priority regional discovery opportunities, approximately 6 km north of Nahanni, where a prospective package of mafic to felsic volcanic rocks is positioned adjacent to a large fault-bound sedimentary basin and several regional high-strain corridors. Widely spaced sonic drilling has defined a broad gold-in-till and bedrock anomaly extending across an approximately 2.5 km trend. With drill-hole spacing averaging approximately 1 km, the anomaly remains relatively unconstrained and provides significant opportunity for additional target refinement and vectoring toward priority areas for future diamond drilling.

Multiple holes have returned elevated gold-grain counts in till, together with anomalous gold in bedrock of up to 0.22 g/t Au over 3.0 m. The strongest response was returned from GLM-R-073, which yielded 375 total gold grains over a 16.3 m till interval, with consistently strong anomalism through the till profile to bedrock at 39.6 m. Significantly, GLM-R-073 is both the northernmost hole drilled at Hawker and the northernmost hole completed during GFG’s entire 82-hole sonic program. The strength and location of the anomaly leave the target open toward the interpreted up-ice source and into a largely untested northern stratigraphic panel.

Hawker is further supported by:

  • a strong Au-Ag-Te-S geochemical association;
  • multiple prospective regional structural corridors;
  • high-strain zones with alteration, sulphidation, brecciation and veining;
  • hessite (Ag-Te) identified in heavy mineral concentrates along with gold; and
  • geochemical responses that compare favourably with benchmark signatures associated with known gold systems at Aljo and Montclerg.

The next phase of work will include infill biogeochemical sampling and targeted reverse circulation (“RC”) till drilling designed to better define the anomaly, constrain its potential bedrock source and prioritize targets for initial diamond drilling in Q1 2027.

The combination of scale, geochemistry, favourable geology, supporting mineralogy and significant remaining open space makes Hawker a compelling opportunity for a new regional discovery at Goldarm.

Nahanni – Expanding a New Gold Discovery Corridor

Nahanni represents the most advanced discovery generated from GFG’s regional exploration strategy.

Earlier in 2026, GFG completed 10 diamond drill holes totaling approximately 3,000 m across Nahanni West, Central and East along an approximately 6 km portion of the Pipestone Deformation Zone (“PDZ”).

Gold mineralization was intersected at all three target areas, including:

  • 11.20 g/t Au over 0.7 m within 1.97 g/t Au over 6.2 m at Nahanni East;
  • 5.12 g/t Au over 1.5 m within 0.20 g/t Au over 85.8 m at Nahanni Central; and
  • 4.75 g/t Au over 1.0 m within 0.66 g/t Au over 9.0 m at Nahanni West.

The drilling identified strong deformation, quartz-carbonate veining, sulphidation, intense sericite-fuchsite alteration and felsic and porphyry dyking across the corridor. Broad mineralized intervals and alteration corridors support the interpretation of a large hydrothermal gold system with multiple structural controls.

Importantly, subsequent sonic drilling has further expanded the opportunity. Sonic drilling along approximately 4 km of the Nahanni trend has identified widespread gold-in-till anomalism, with multiple holes returning more than 30 gold grains per 10-kilogram (“kg”) sample.

The strongest gold-in-till anomaly identified to date occurs approximately 1 km southeast of Nahanni Central, where anomalism persists throughout an approximately 20 m-thick till profile.

Several of the strongest gold-in-till and bedrock anomalies identified by the regional program remain untested by diamond drilling, providing additional targets for the next phase of exploration.

GFG is prioritizing follow-up work at Nahanni Central and East, together with first pass testing of newly generated targets along the broader corridor in Q1 2027.

Regional Pipeline – Multiple Discovery Opportunities Across Goldarm

Beyond Hawker and Nahanni, GFG continues to advance a growing portfolio of regional targets.

At Carr, two sonic holes drilled approximately 500 m apart returned moderately to strongly anomalous gold-in-till values of greater than 50 gold grains per 10 kg sample together with anomalous gold in bedrock along a northeast-trending high-strain corridor adjacent to the Carr Porphyry.

Carr, Skutter, Anton and other emerging targets will continue to be evaluated through the integration of sonic drilling, till geochemistry, biogeochemical sampling, prospecting, geophysics and geological interpretation.

Through the remainder of 2026 and into 2027, GFG plans to complete:

  • approximately 1,100 additional tree-bark samples across Goldarm;
  • first-pass and infill biogeochemical programs;
  • additional conventional till sampling and prospecting;
  • targeted RC till drilling;
  • follow-up diamond drilling at priority regional targets; and
  • continued advancement of new targets toward drill-ready status.

At Montclerg, new diamond and overburden drilling programs are also being designed along strike of the known gold system to test for potential new zones and extensions.

The objective of this work is to maintain a deep and continuously evolving pipeline of discovery opportunities capable of supporting sustained exploration and drilling across Goldarm.

Aljo – Continued Expansion of a Growing Gold System

Aljo remains GFG’s principal advanced exploration target, where successive drill programs have established the HW Zone as a continuous and expanding component of the broader Aljo gold system. The zone has produced repeated significant intercepts, including 13.94 g/t Au over 7.1 m in ALJ-24-012, 6.62 g/t Au over 11.2 m, including 7.24 g/t Au over 10.2 m, in ALJ-24-020, and 4.13 g/t Au over 5.2 m, including 8.98 g/t Au over 2.2 m, in ALJ-24-018. Subsequent drilling demonstrated that this high-grade mineralization occurs within a broader mineralized envelope, highlighted by 1.05 g/t Au over 71.0 m, including 7.51 g/t Au over 3.0 m and 6.39 g/t Au over 2.0 m, in ALJ-25-030, together with 1.46 g/t Au over 14.3 m, including 9.36 g/t Au over 1.0 m, in ALJ-25-029.

The latest drilling continues to expand this established system. ALJ-26-039, drilled approximately 60 m down dip from ALJ-25-036, returned 0.43 g/t Au over 36.9 m, including 1.58 g/t Au over 1.5 m, and 0.70 g/t Au over 11.5 m, including 3.33 g/t Au over 1.5 m, extending the HW Zone to approximately 300 m vertical depth, where it remains open. At the shallow HW East extension, ALJ-26-041 returned 0.90 g/t Au over 7.7 m, including 3.17 g/t Au over 1.7 m, at approximately 50 m vertical depth. Visible gold was observed in both holes.

Together with the historical drilling, the results reinforce the continuity, scale and growth potential of the HW Zone, with approximately 4,000 m of additional drilling planned to expand the zone at depth and test the eastern and northwestern extensions of the broader Aljo system.

Multiple Drivers of Value Across GFG’s Timmins Portfolio

GFG’s expanded Goldarm program complements the Company’s strategic earn-in agreement with Barrick at the approximately 475 km² Pen Gold Project.

Under the agreement, Barrick may fund up to C$17.68 million in exploration and project expenditures to earn an initial 60% interest in Pen, while GFG retains significant exposure to future exploration success.

The transaction allows GFG to focus its treasury and technical resources on its 100%-owned Goldarm discovery platform, while Pen is advanced through a significant partner-funded exploration program.

With Aljo continuing to grow, Nahanni expanding as a new discovery corridor, Hawker advancing toward drill testing and a broad regional pipeline developing behind them, GFG believes it has multiple independent opportunities to drive discovery and create shareholder value across its Timmins portfolio.

Fairfax, Virginia, Sept. 22, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Visium Technologies, Inc. (OTCID: VISM) (the “Company”) today announced that it has executed a non-binding term sheet with counterparties concerning a proposed assignment of specified contract-use, offtake, and deployment rights.

Under the term sheet, those rights would be assigned into a newly formed Indonesian limited-liability PMA company. A wholly owned Delaware subsidiary of the Company would hold a 99 percent interest in that PMA company. The proposed transaction is an assignment of identified rights. It is not an acquisition of the equity of any existing operating company. It would not cause the Company to manufacture semiconductor devices or to assume historical liabilities of the design firm.

Paul R. Taylor, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, said: “Markets do not pay for adjectives. They pay for rights that survive a closing. We are not announcing a factory, a partner, or a watt. We are putting a defined bundle of rights into a clean vehicle, leaving every inherited liability where it belongs, and refusing to call the work finished until the last condition exists in fact.”

The term sheet is non-binding except for customary provisions on exclusivity, confidentiality, expenses, and governing law. Economic terms remain subject to Board authorization. Any closing consideration is expected to consist of a newly designated series of non-voting convertible preferred stock issued in a private placement under Section 4(a)(2) of the Securities Act of 1933 and Rule 506(b). No cash is payable at a closing unless the Board separately authorizes a cash component.

Closing, if it occurs, remains subject to conditions that have not been satisfied, including written device specifications, required third-party and change-of-control consents, U.S. export-control classification and screening, Indonesian corporate and special-economic-zone approvals, site rights that survive closing, and corporate approvals required under Florida law. There can be no assurance that those conditions will be satisfied, that a definitive agreement will be executed, or that the transaction will close on the contemplated terms or at all.

Certain persons who beneficially own voting securities of the Company, and the Company’s Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, have relationships with parties expected to participate in the negotiation or performance of the proposed transaction. Those relationships will be disclosed in the Company’s filings to the extent required by the Exchange Act and Florida law. The term sheet requires review under Section 607.0832 of the Florida Business Corporation Act. That review has not been completed.

The Company is not announcing a partnership, a manufacturing arrangement, allocated power capacity, or projected revenue. The Company will file a Current Report on Form 8-K if and when it enters a material definitive agreement or completes a transaction that requires disclosure under the Exchange Act. Investors should rely solely on the Company’s filings with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Initial tranche assists CannEpil® development and commercialization

Financing comes as FDA and Congress increase focus on advancing and incentivizing regulated development of botanical and plant-derived medicines

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla., Sept. 22, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Endovia Health Sciences, Inc. (NYSE American: EDVA) (“Endovia” or the “Company”), a cannabinoid health sciences company, today announced that it has closed initial funding from C/M Capital Master Fund, LP (“C/M Capital”), representing the first tranche investment commitment previously announced in connection with the Company’s exclusive global licensing agreement for CannEpil® with Argent BioPharma Limited.

The capital is to advance the development and commercialization of CannEpil®, including Endovia’s U.S. FDA-regulated veterinary development program and international commercialization initiatives.

Endovia’s acquisition of exclusive worldwide rights to CannEpil®. C/M Capital committed capital to support regulatory advancement, clinical development planning and commercialization of the product.

“When we acquired the global rights to CannEpil, we laid out a clear strategy: secure a differentiated pharmaceutical cannabinoid asset, capitalize the program, advance it through established regulatory pathways and build a broader cannabinoid health sciences platform around it,” said Brady Cobb, Interim Chief Executive Officer of Endovia Health Sciences. “With this initial funding now closed, we are putting capital directly behind that strategy at what we believe is an increasingly important time for cannabinoid science and federal regulatory policy.”

Advancing CannEpil® Through Established FDA Pathways

The financing follows a series of milestones for Endovia’s CannEpil® development program.

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration’s Center for Veterinary Medicine previously established Investigational New Animal Drug (“INAD”) File No. 14145 for the CannEpil® veterinary development program, formally initiating the FDA regulatory process for development of CannEpil® as an investigational veterinary pharmaceutical.

Endovia is initially pursuing CannEpil® for the management of cancer-related pain in companion animals, beginning with canine oncology, and is working with Lupvindol Biosciences Ltd., its veterinary development partner, to advance the program through the applicable FDA regulatory process.

The Company also continues to pursue international commercialization opportunities for CannEpil® and evaluate additional cannabinoid formulations and intellectual property for potential licensing, acquisition or strategic collaboration.

Federal Momentum Toward Botanical Drug Development

Endovia believes its investment in cannabinoid pharmaceutical development is occurring against an increasingly constructive federal backdrop for the scientific development of botanical and plant-derived medicines.

The FDA recently launched an initiative seeking public input on opportunities to advance botanical drug development in the United States, including regulatory challenges facing botanical drug developers, innovative approaches to accelerate development, potential updates to FDA guidance and resources, quality standards and clinical study design. The initiative builds upon the FDA’s existing botanical drug regulatory framework, under which plant-derived products may be developed through established FDA drug-approval pathways. FDA materials addressing drug development from the cannabis plant have also identified the Agency’s botanical drug guidance as applicable to the use of botanicals, including cannabis, as sources for drug development.

Congress is also considering new incentives intended to encourage investment in FDA-regulated botanical medicines. On August 27, 2026, Representatives Lauren Boebert and Derrick Van Orden introduced H.R. 10150, the Advancing Botanical Drug Development Act of 2026, which was referred to the House Committee on Energy and Commerce. The proposed legislation would amend Section 505 of the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act to provide qualifying botanical drugs approved through the FDA’s Section 505(b)(1) pathway with a 12-year period of market exclusivity, during which certain subsequent applications relying upon the approved botanical drug could not become effective.

In its findings, H.R. 10150 recognizes both the scientific potential and unique development challenges associated with botanical medicines and states that existing intellectual-property and regulatory-exclusivity frameworks may provide insufficient incentives for private investment in botanical drug research and development. The legislation expressly seeks to encourage the development and approval of evidence-based, FDA-regulated botanical drugs while maintaining the safety and effectiveness standards applicable to other FDA-regulated drugs.

“We believe these developments are significant for the broader cannabinoid sciences industry,” Cobb said. “The FDA already has an established regulatory framework for botanical drug development, and cannabis has been recognized within the Agency’s botanical drug development materials. We are now seeing renewed attention from both FDA and Congress around how sophisticated plant-derived medicines can be developed, evaluated and ultimately brought to market through rigorous, science-based regulatory pathways.”

Cobb continued, “The proposed 12-year exclusivity period is particularly noteworthy because access to capital and protection of the substantial investment required for pharmaceutical development are critical to building viable programs around complex plant-derived medicines. While H.R. 10150 remains proposed legislation, we believe its introduction, together with FDA’s renewed focus on botanical drug development, reflects meaningful federal attention to creating an environment capable of supporting greater scientific and private-sector investment in this area.”
