ALLOWANCE AND PROVISION FOR CREDIT LOSSES

The Company recorded no net provision for credit losses in the third quarter of 2026, compared to $426 thousand for the second quarter of 2026. The third quarter provision was comprised of a $64 thousand provision for credit losses on loans, a $79 thousand reduction in provision for credit losses on unfunded commitments, and a $15 thousand provision for credit losses on securities.  Net charge-offs totaled $594 thousand in the third quarter of 2026, compared to net charge-offs of $105 thousand in the second quarter of 2026 and net charge-offs of $939 thousand in the third quarter of 2025.

The allowance for credit losses on loans totaled $14.4 million, or 0.96% of total loans on September 30, 2026, compared to $14.9 million, or 1.00% of total loans on June 30, 2026, and $14.4 million, or 1.01% of total loans on September 30, 2025. The allowance for credit losses to total loans decreased from the prior period and prior year due to declines in specific reserves on individually analyzed loans and lower calculated reserves on pooled loans. The allowance for credit losses to non-performing assets coverage was 268% on September 30, 2026, compared to 315% on June 30, 2026, and 253% on September 30, 2025.

NONINTEREST INCOME AND EXPENSE

Noninterest income increased $66 thousand to $4.1 million for the third quarter of 2026 from $4.0 million in the prior quarter. The increase in noninterest income includes increases in wealth management fees, income from bank owned life insurance, and gains on sale of loans held for sale, offset by decreases in brokered mortgage fees, loss on disposals, and other operating income compared to the prior quarter.

Noninterest expense increased $259 thousand to $16.7 million for the third quarter of 2026 from $16.4 million in the prior quarter. The increase in noninterest expense includes increases in employee benefit expense related to our above target net income as well as other real estate owned expense, offset by decreases in marketing expense, legal and professional fees, and other operating expense.

Two banking offices in Roanoke Rapids and Louisburg, North Carolina, including most of the deposit and loan accounts associated with those offices were sold in early October. The company anticipates a one-time gain on the sale of the offices in the fourth quarter of 2026.  The Bank consolidated three additional banking offices and discontinued low-volume ATMs at non-branch locations during the third quarter of 2026. The consolidation resulted in other real estate owned expense of $212 thousand in the third quarter. These two closed banking offices are carried as our only other real estate owned and as non-performing assets. The sale and consolidation combined will reduce the number of banking offices from 33 to 28 by year end. The goals of these branch optimization actions are to streamline operations, improve future profitability and allocate resources to faster growing markets.

INCOME TAXES

Income tax expense was $1.7 million for the third quarter of 2026, compared to $1.4 million for the second quarter of 2026. The effective tax rate of 19.7% for the third quarter of 2026 increased slightly from 19.5% in the second quarter of 2026 due to changes in permanent tax differences.

BALANCE SHEET

On September 30, 2026, total assets were $2.075 billion, an increase of $44.1 million or 2.2% from September 30, 2025. Total assets were consistent with the prior quarter with the increase in loan growth offset by decreases in cash and cash equivalents and investment securities, and the increase from the prior year was driven by loan growth funded by decreases in cash and cash equivalents and securities held to maturity.

On September 30, 2026, loans held for investment (“LHFI”) net of allowance totaled $1.486 billion, an increase of $13.4 million or 3.6% annualized from $1.472 billion on June 30, 2026, and an increase of $67.3 million or 4.7% from $1.419 billion on September 30, 2025. Net loan growth in the third quarter and for the year has been driven by increased production from newly hired bankers along with our continued focus on relationship banking.

On September 30, 2026, total investments were $306.8 million, a decrease of $16.0 million or 5.0% from June 30, 2026, and an increase of $1.3 million or 0.4% from September 30, 2025. Available for sale (“AFS”) securities totaled $218.7 million on September 30, 2026, and $227.8 million on June 30, 2026, and $196.5 million on September 30, 2025. The increase compared to the prior year was driven by security purchases exceeding portfolio cashflows and utilization of excess cash. Total net unrealized losses on the AFS securities portfolio were $21.4 million on September 30, 2026, compared to $15.8 million on June 30, 2026, and $15.4 million on September 30, 2025. Held to maturity securities are carried at amortized cost and totaled $82.6 million on September 30, 2026, $89.4 million on June 30, 2026, and $104.6 million on September 30, 2025.

On September 30, 2026, total deposits were $1.829 billion, a decrease of $2.4 million or 0.5% annualized from the prior quarter, and an increase of $19.2 million or 1.1% from September 30, 2025. Average deposit balances for the third quarter declined $17.6 million or 3.8% annualized. Overall, deposit balances were relatively stable in comparison with the prior quarter and the prior year with decreases primarily in interest-bearing demand deposits. There were $25.0 million in other borrowings with the Federal Home Loan Bank on September 30, 2026 and June 30, 2026 and no borrowings on September 30, 2025.

LIQUIDITY

Liquidity sources available to the Bank, including interest-bearing deposits in banks, unpledged securities available for sale, at fair value, and available lines of credit totaled $721.6 million on September 30, 2026, $747.8 million on June 30, 2026, and $676.1 million on September 30, 2025.

The Bank maintains liquidity to fund loan growth and to meet potential demand from deposit customers, including potential volatile deposits. The estimated amount of uninsured customer deposits totaled $575.8 million on September 30, 2026, $573.8 million on June 30, 2026, and $555.0 million on September 30, 2025. Excluding municipal deposits that have collateral pledged, the estimated amount of uninsured customer deposits totaled $483.3 million on September 30, 2026, $466.9 million on June 30, 2026, and $473.4 million on September 30, 2025.

ASSET QUALITY

Non-performing assets (“NPAs”) increased slightly from the prior period and improved from the prior year as previously reserved loans were charged off since the third quarter of 2025. Management classifies NPAs as non-accrual loans and other real estate owned (“OREO”). Total Drawn Under Facility Now $3,000,000; Non-Interest Bearing Facility Automatically Cancelled and Discharged in Full Upon Closing of Pending Acquisition

CINCINNATI, Ohio, Oct. 23, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Onconetix, Inc. (Nasdaq: ONCO) (“Onconetix” or the “Company”) today announced that it has made an additional advance of $500,000 to Realbotix LLC (“Realbotix”), the target of its previously announced pending acquisition, under the strategic bridge financing facility (the “Grid Note”) announced on September 14, 2026. The additional advance brings the total principal outstanding under the facility to $3,000,000.

As previously disclosed, the Grid Note provides for aggregate loans of up to $5,000,000 and is non-interest bearing prior to the closing of the Share Exchange Agreement. Upon closing, the Grid Note and all obligations thereunder will be automatically cancelled and discharged in full. The cash required at closing will be reduced by the total principal advanced under the Grid Note plus an additional $500,000. If the Share Exchange Agreement is terminated, interest accrues at 12% per annum from the date of termination.

A description of the additional advance is included in Onconetix’s Current Report on Form 8-K filed with the SEC on October 23, 2026. The full text of the Note is available at www.sec.gov.

As previously announced on February 12, 2026, Onconetix entered into the Share Exchange Agreement to acquire 100% of the issued and outstanding equity interests of Realbotix LLC in an all-stock transaction. The combined company is expected to trade on Nasdaq following closing, which is subject to Onconetix shareholder approval, required regulatory approvals, and other closing conditions.

About IRADIMED CORPORATION

IRADIMED CORPORATION is a leader in developing innovative Magnetic Resonance Imaging (“MRI”) compatible medical devices. We design, manufacture, market, and distribute MRI-compatible medical devices, accessories, disposables, and related services.

We are the only known provider of a non-magnetic intravenous (“IV”) infusion pump system specifically designed to be safe for use during MRI procedures. We were the first to develop an infusion delivery system that largely eliminates many of the dangers and problems present during MRI procedures. Standard infusion pumps contain magnetic and electronic components that can create radio frequency interference and are dangerous to operate in the presence of the powerful magnet that drives an MRI system. Our patented MRidium® MRI compatible IV infusion pump systems (3860 and 3870) have a non-magnetic ultrasonic motor, uniquely designed non-ferrous parts, and other special features to safely and predictably deliver anesthesia and other IV fluids during various MRI procedures. Our pump solutions provide a seamless approach that enables accurate, safe, and dependable fluid delivery before, during, and after an MRI scan, which is essential to critically ill patients who cannot be removed from their vital medications and children and infants who must generally be sedated to remain immobile during an MRI scan.

Our 3880 MRI compatible patient vital signs monitoring system has been designed with non-magnetic components and other special features to safely and accurately monitor a patient’s vital signs during various MRI procedures. The Iradimed 3880 system operates dependably in magnetic fields up to 30,000 gauss, which means it can operate virtually anywhere in the MRI scanner room. The Iradimed 3880 has a compact, lightweight design, allowing it to travel with the patient from the critical care unit to the MRI and back, resulting in increased patient safety through uninterrupted vital signs monitoring and decreasing the amount of time critically ill patients are away from critical care units. The features of the Iradimed 3880 include wireless ECG with dynamic gradient filtering; wireless SpO2 using Masimo® algorithms; non-magnetic respiratory CO2; invasive and non-invasive blood pressure; patient temperature, and optional advanced multi-gas anesthetic agent unit featuring continuous Minimum Alveolar Concentration measurements. The Iradimed 3880 MRI compatible patient vital signs monitoring system has an easy-to-use design and allows for the effective communication of patient vital signs information to clinicians.

AI-powered assistant helps public safety professionals turn complex operational data into faster insights and better-informed decisions

ORLANDO, Fla., Oct. 23, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — SoundThinking, Inc. (Nasdaq: SSTI), a leading public safety technology provider, today announced the general availability of SafetySmart® Field Agent to all ShotSpotter agencies, marking the transition from the beta program announced in June to broader commercial availability. SoundThinking is making Field Agent available to ShotSpotter agencies at no additional charge for up to 20 users per agency during the first year.

Introduced earlier this year with more than 20 beta agencies, Field Agent helps public safety personnel turn operational information into actionable insights without overburdening limited analyst resources. Using natural-language questions, personnel can analyze ShotSpotter data, identify trends, and generate maps, charts, incident summaries and draft briefings. By combining analysis and reporting in a single conversational experience, Field Agent reduces manual tasks and helps personnel across the agency make better-informed operational decisions.

“Field Agent represents a new way for public safety professionals to put ShotSpotter intelligence to work,” said Ralph Clark, President and CEO of SoundThinking. “By making it easier to analyze gunfire activity, uncover patterns and generate actionable insights, we’re helping agencies make faster, better-informed decisions. And as we expand Field Agent to additional sources of operational data, we see even greater opportunities to bring the power of AI into everyday public safety operations.”

The potential applications extend across agency operations. For example, a police chief responding to questions from city leadership could ask Field Agent how gunfire activity has changed over the past month and receive charts and maps highlighting relevant trends. Similarly, a supervisor preparing for an upcoming shift could request a summary of recent gunfire incidents in a specific patrol area, including locations and time-of-day patterns, to help inform operational planning and deployment decisions.

SoundThinking is also developing Field Agent Skills, a new capability that will allow agencies to create reusable instructions for recurring tasks, such as preparing shift briefings and summarizing incident activity, saving time and improving consistency.

“Field Agent is helping us get more value from information we already have,” said Detective Lucas Roethlisberger, Intelligence Unit / Crime Gun Intelligence Center, St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department. “Instead of waiting for someone to pull data and build an analysis, our team can ask questions directly, identify patterns, and get useful insights much faster. What’s especially exciting is the potential to bring more of our operational data into that experience, giving our people a more complete picture to support better-informed decisions.”

Looking ahead, SoundThinking is expanding the types of information Field Agent can use to support operational decision-making. The company is testing additional agency data sources, including computer-aided dispatch (CAD) and records management system (RMS) information, while enabling agencies to incorporate relevant information through documents and spreadsheets.

SoundThinking is also developing integration with CrimeTracer, its law enforcement search engine, which will extend Field Agent’s capabilities to additional investigative and criminal justice information and create opportunities to bring AI-powered decision support to CrimeTracer’s extensive network of over 2,100 agencies. Beta availability is planned for November, with general availability targeted for early 2027.

As Field Agent expands across additional agency data sources, responsible AI remains foundational to its design. Human review and decision-making remain central to the workflow: the technology can accelerate searching, synthesis and analysis, but interpretation, validation and operational or investigative decisions remain with authorized personnel.

ShotSpotter agencies can contact their Customer Success Director or email support@soundthinking.com to activate Field Agent access. Attendees at the International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP) Annual Conference and Exposition in Orlando, Fla., can see a demonstration at Booth 1109 during the exposition, Oct. 25–27, 2026.

 — Patient demographics consistent with prior studies of other agents in HCM and reflect real-world clinical practice —

— Mean baseline KCCQ-CSS of 59 shows considerable symptom burden at study entry –

                  — Substantial over enrollment strengthens statistical power and provides robust dataset to evaluate the efficacy and safety of sotagliflozin —

THE WOODLANDS, Texas, Oct. 23, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Lexicon Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (Nasdaq: LXRX), a leading cardiometabolic biopharmaceutical company, today provided an update on the baseline characteristics of the patients randomized into the ongoing pivotal Phase 3 SOtaglifloziN in Patients with SymptomATic obstructive And non-obstructive Hypertrophic CardioMyopathy (SONATA-HCM) clinical trial evaluating sotagliflozin in patients with symptomatic hypertrophic cardiomyopathy. The data will be presented in detail by Dr. Sharlene Day, M.D., Presidential Professor, Director of Translational Research of the Penn Cardiovascular Institute, University of Pennsylvania and co-chair of the SONATA-HCM steering committee, on Saturday, October 24, 2026, at 4:05 p.m. ET at the International HCM Summit in Boston, MA.

The patient enrollment profile of SONATA-HCM is consistent with the study’s inclusive design, which aimed to reflect real-world clinical practice. Patients were permitted to remain on stable background therapies, including cardiac myosin inhibitors, allowing evaluation of sotagliflozin in patients receiving currently available HCM treatments. Importantly, baseline demographic and clinical characteristics within both the non-obstructive (nHCM) and obstructive HCM (oHCM) cohorts were generally consistent with those reported in previous clinical studies of other agents in those respective patient populations, supporting the relevance of the SONATA-HCM study population to the broader HCM community.

In total, SONATA-HCM enrolled 542 patients across more than 130 sites in 20 countries, substantially exceeding the study’s target enrollment of 500 patients and a providing larger dataset that may further enhance the statistical power of the study to detect meaningful treatment effects on its primary efficacy endpoint. Among enrolled patients, 440 have nHCM and 102 have oHCM, positioning SONATA-HCM to evaluate sotagliflozin in a broad HCM population while emphasizing patients with non-obstructive disease, who currently have no FDA-approved disease-specific treatments.

The overall study population had a mean baseline Kansas City Cardiomyopathy Questionnaire Clinical Summary Score (KCCQ-CSS) of 59, reflecting a considerable burden of symptoms and limitations in daily activities at study entry. KCCQ-CSS ranges from 0 to 100, with higher scores indicating better health status and fewer symptoms, demonstrating that the SONATA-HCM study population began the trial with substantial opportunity for improvement. The primary efficacy endpoint of the pivotal study is improvement in symptoms, as measured by change from baseline in KCCQ-CSS at Week 26.

“We designed SONATA-HCM to evaluate sotagliflozin in a broad and clinically relevant HCM population reflective of real-world clinical practice, and we are very pleased that the final study population met that objective,” said Craig Granowitz, M.D., Ph.D., senior vice president and chief medical officer of Lexicon. “The demographic and clinical characteristics of both the obstructive and non-obstructive HCM cohorts were generally consistent with those reported in previous studies of other agents, while the baseline KCCQ score reflects a population with meaningful symptom burden. Combined with the substantial over enrollment and representation of both major HCM subtypes, we believe SONATA-HCM is well positioned to evaluate sotagliflozin across the broad spectrum of symptomatic HCM patients.”

SONATA-HCM is the only ongoing Phase 3 study in both nHCM and oHCM and is the largest Phase 3 study including both nHCM and oHCM to date. Topline results are anticipated in the first quarter of 2027.

About Sotagliflozin
Discovered using Lexicon’s unique approach to gene science, sotagliflozin is an oral inhibitor of two proteins responsible for glucose regulation known as sodium-glucose cotransporter types 2 and 1 (SGLT2 and SGLT1). SGLT2 is responsible for glucose and sodium reabsorption by the kidney and SGLT1 is responsible for glucose and sodium absorption in the gastrointestinal tract and the heart. Sotagliflozin has been studied in multiple patient populations encompassing heart failure, diabetes, and chronic kidney disease in clinical studies involving approximately 20,000 patients. Sotagliflozin is also currently under investigation for hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM).
