JERUSALEM, Oct. 22, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Alpha Tau Medical Ltd. (Nasdaq: DRTS, DRTSW) (“Alpha Tau”), the developer of the innovative alpha-radiation cancer therapy Alpha DaRT®, today announced the signing of an MOU in Seoul, South Korea, with Samsung Medical Center (SMC), regarding a potential clinical trial in pancreatic cancer patients. Any such trial would be subject to regulatory and ethics committee approvals.

Pancreatic cancer is one of Korea’s deadliest cancers. It is now the country’s fourth leading cause of cancer death, and unlike most cancers in Korea, its death rate has continued to rise. In 2023, 9,748 Koreans were diagnosed with the disease, and its five-year relative survival rate of 17.0% is the lowest of any cancer in the country. Fewer than one in six patients are diagnosed while the cancer is still confined to the pancreas, and more than four in ten are diagnosed only after it has already spread to distant organs.

SMC is ranked fifth in the world and number one in Korea in oncology. Its Pancreatobiliary Cancer Center combines a multidisciplinary team, a fast-track pathway for diagnosis and treatment, and a high-volume surgical program that has performed more than 4,000 pancreatectomies for pancreatic cancer between 2008 and 2025.(Courtesy of SMC)

Uzi Sofer, CEO of Alpha Tau, stated: “Signing this MOU with Samsung Medical Center, one of the world’s leading medical centers, is an important step forward in our goal to bring Alpha DaRT to cancer patients wherever they are. With Korea, our pancreatic cancer program could potentially span six countries across North America, Europe, the Middle East and Asia. I am grateful for SMC’s confidence in Alpha Tau and for the opportunity to explore the potential of Alpha DaRT to benefit its patients.”

Hee-Chul Kim, EVP of Samsung Medical Center, General Director of Samsung Comprehensive Cancer Center (SCCC), stated: “Pancreatic cancer remains one of the most challenging cancers to treat, and treatment options are limited for many patients. We hope this MOU will help us explore new possibilities for these patients. We will carefully review the clinical application of Alpha DaRT and do our best to strengthen our own research capabilities.”

About Alpha Tau Medical Ltd.

Founded in 2016, Alpha Tau is an Israeli oncology therapeutics company focused on the research, development, and potential commercialization of the Alpha DaRT for the treatment of solid tumors. The technology was initially developed by Prof. Itzhak Kelson and Prof. Yona Keisari from Tel Aviv University.

About Alpha DaRT®

Alpha DaRT (Diffusing Alpha-emitters Radiation Therapy) is designed to enable highly potent and conformal alpha-irradiation of solid tumors by intratumoral delivery of radium-224 impregnated sources. When the radium decays, its short-lived daughters are released from the sources and disperse while emitting high-energy alpha particles with the goal of destroying the tumor. Since the alpha-emitting atoms diffuse only a short distance, Alpha DaRT aims to primarily affect the tumor and to spare healthy tissue surrounding it.

About Samsung Comprehensive Cancer Center

Samsung Comprehensive Cancer Center (SCCC) is guided by respect for life, striving for excellence in patient care, research, and education to help people lead healthier, happier lives. Since opening in 2008 as Korea’s first and largest cancer center of its kind, SCCC has continued to expand its capabilities, establishing the Supportive Care Center (2014), the Proton Therapy Center (2016), the CAR T-Cell Therapy Center (2021), and the Precision Oncology Therapeutics Center (2022). In 2023, SCCC signed MOUs with Gustave Roussy and Charité to strengthen its global collaboration, and in 2024 it opened the Institute for Quality of Life in Cancer. In 2026, SCCC achieved ICHOM Level 1 accreditation and signed an MOU with EORTC. SMC was ranked fifth in the world and first in Korea in oncology in Newsweek’s World’s Best Specialized Hospitals 2027.

About Eupraxia Pharmaceuticals Inc.

Eupraxia is a clinical-stage biotechnology company focused on the development of locally delivered, extended-release products that have the potential to address therapeutic areas with high unmet medical need. Diffusphere™, a proprietary, polymer-based micro-sphere technology, is designed to facilitate targeted drug delivery of both existing and novel drugs. The technology is designed to support extended duration of effect and delivery of drugs in a hyper-localized fashion, targeting only the tissues that physicians are wanting to treat. We believe the potential for fewer adverse events may be achieved through the precision targeting and the stable and flat delivery of the active ingredient when using the Diffusphere™ technology, versus the peaks and troughs seen with more traditional drug delivery methods. The precision of Eupraxia’s Diffusphere™ technology platform has the potential to augment and transform existing FDA-approved drugs to improve their safety, tolerability, efficacy and duration of effect. The potential uses in therapeutic areas may go beyond pain and inflammatory gastrointestinal disease, where Eupraxia currently is developing advanced treatments, to also be applicable in oncology, infectious disease and other critical disease areas.

EP-104GI and the Diffusphere™ technology platform are investigational products. Their effects on safety, tolerability, efficacy, and duration of effect have not been established and require evaluation in appropriate clinical studies.

Eupraxia’s EP-104GI is currently in a Phase 1b/2 trial, the RESOLVE trial, for the treatment of EoE. EP-104GI is administered as an injection into the esophageal wall, providing local delivery of drug. This is a unique treatment approach for EoE. In addition, Eupraxia is developing a pipeline of later and earlier-stage long-acting formulations. For further details about Eupraxia, please visit the Company’s website at: www.eupraxiapharma.com.

FAIRFIELD, N.J., Oct. 22, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Kearny Financial Corp. (NASDAQ GS: KRNY) (the “Company”), the holding company of Kearny Bank (the “Bank”), reported net income for the quarter ended September 30, 2026 of $10.0 million, or $0.16 per diluted share, compared to $7.2 million, or $0.11 per diluted share, for the quarter ended June 30, 2026.

The Company also announced that its Board of Directors declared a quarterly cash dividend of $0.11 per share, payable on November 18, 2026, to stockholders of record as of November 4, 2026.

Craig L. Montanaro, President and Chief Executive Officer, commented, “We are pleased to report continued progress this quarter, reflecting ongoing execution of our strategic plan, solid loan and deposit growth, and disciplined expense management. While our net interest margin reflected the impact of lower prepayment-related income and the repricing of our final remaining COVID-era wholesale funding position, our underlying margin drivers remain intact. Ongoing loan repricing and balance sheet remixing are expected to support further margin expansion in the quarters ahead.”

Mr. Montanaro continued, “Our strategic transformation continues to gain momentum as we deepen commercial client relationships, expand relationship-based deposit growth, and further reposition the balance sheet toward higher-yielding commercial and construction lending opportunities. During the quarter, we expanded our deposit-gathering capabilities with the launch of a dedicated Nonprofit and Independent Education Banking team. This initiative broadens access to attractive relationship-based funding sources and further diversifies our deposit franchise.”

First Quarter Highlights

  • Net income increased 40.0% to $10.0 million, or $0.16 per diluted share.
  • Pre-tax, pre-provision net revenue (non-GAAP) increased 14.0% to $13.5 million, or $0.21 per diluted share, reflecting ongoing strengthening of core earnings.
  • Continued the strategic remixing of the loan portfolio, growing total loans by 7.2% on an annualized basis, while reducing multifamily mortgage exposure.
  • Total deposits grew by 8.7% on an annualized basis, reflecting continued momentum across the Bank’s commercial deposit initiatives and supporting loan growth and balance sheet optimization.
  • Launched a Nonprofit and Independent Education Banking team led by a seasoned industry professional with extensive experience serving mission-driven organizations through specialized banking solutions, further strengthening the Bank’s commercial banking capabilities.

Balance Sheet

  • Total assets were $7.78 billion at September 30, 2026, an increase of $95.7 million, or 1.2%, from June 30, 2026.
  • Investment securities totaled $1.04 billion at September 30, 2026, a decrease of $35.0 million, or 3.3%, from June 30, 2026.
  • Loans receivable totaled $5.98 billion at September 30, 2026, an increase of $105.1 million, or 1.8%, from June 30, 2026.
  • Deposits were $5.83 billion at September 30, 2026, an increase of $123.9 million, or 2.2%, from June 30, 2026, primarily driven by growth in interest-bearing demand deposits.
  • Borrowings were $1.14 billion at September 30, 2026, a decrease of $15.0 million, or 1.3%, from June 30, 2026, reflecting reductions in overnight borrowings, partially offset by an increase in Federal Home Loan Bank (“FHLB”) advances.
  • At September 30, 2026, the Company maintained available secured borrowing capacity with the FHLB and the Federal Reserve Discount Window of $2.21 billion, representing 28.5% of total assets.

Earnings

Net Interest Income and Net Interest Margin

  • Average loan yields increased 10 basis points and average loan balances grew for the quarter ended September 30, 2026, contributing to an increase of $2.2 million, or 2.7%, in total interest income. Net interest margin was 2.23% for the quarter ended September 30, 2026, a decrease of three basis points from the prior quarter, as the benefit from higher asset yields was offset by the repricing of the Company’s final remaining COVID-era wholesale funding position and declines in purchase accounting accretion and loan prepayment penalty income, as described in further detail below.
  • For the quarter ended September 30, 2026, net interest income decreased $294,000 to $40.1 million from $40.4 million for the quarter ended June 30, 2026. Included in net interest income for the quarters ended September 30, 2026 and June 30, 2026, respectively, was purchase accounting accretion of $396,000 and $537,000, and loan prepayment penalty income of $336,000 and $622,000. Excluding loan prepayment penalty income and purchase accounting accretion, net interest income increased $132,000 from the prior period.

Non-Interest Income

  • For the quarter ended September 30, 2026, non-interest income decreased $110,000, or 2.1%, to $5.2 million from $5.3 million for the quarter ended June 30, 2026, primarily due to a non-recurring write-down of $122,000 on one other real estate owned property resulting from an updated appraisal. The remaining changes in non-interest income reflected normal operating fluctuations within those line items.

Non-Interest Expense

  • For the quarter ended September 30, 2026, non-interest expense decreased $2.1 million, or 6.1%, to $31.8 million from $33.9 million for the quarter ended June 30, 2026, primarily driven by decreases in salary and benefits, advertising, equipment and systems, and other expense.
  • Salary and benefits expense decreased $883,000 to $19.4 million for the quarter ended September 30, 2026 from $20.3 million for the quarter ended June 30, 2026, primarily driven by the absence of a $745,000 non-recurring severance charge recorded in the prior period and a $193,000 non-recurring decrease in stock-based compensation recorded in the current period. Excluding these items, salary and benefits expense remained relatively unchanged at $19.6 million for both periods.
  • Advertising and marketing expense decreased $365,000 to $381,000 for the quarter ended September 30, 2026 from $746,000 for the quarter ended June 30, 2026, primarily driven by lower advertising expenses across various formats.
  • Equipment and systems expense decreased $126,000 to $3.7 million for the quarter ended September 30, 2026 from $3.9 million for the quarter ended June 30, 2026, primarily driven by lower third-party core processing service fees.
  • Other expense decreased $705,000 to $3.7 million for the quarter ended September 30, 2026 from $4.4 million for the quarter ended June 30, 2026, primarily driven by lower professional fees, provision for credit losses on unfunded commitments, and other real estate owned expenses. Changes in the other components of non-interest expense between comparative periods reflected normal operating fluctuations within those line items.

Income Taxes

  • Income tax expense totaled $2.6 million for the quarter ended September 30, 2026 compared to $3.8 million for the quarter ended June 30, 2026, resulting in an effective tax rate of 20.7% and 34.9%, respectively. Income tax expense in the prior period included a $1.6 million valuation allowance against a deferred tax asset related to certain legacy stock-based compensation awards.

Asset Quality

  • The balance of non-performing assets increased $3.2 million to $56.6 million, or 0.73% of total assets, at September 30, 2026 from $53.4 million, or 0.70% of total assets, at June 30, 2026.
  • Net charge-offs totaled $277,000, or 0.02% of average loans, on an annualized basis, for the quarter ended September 30, 2026, compared to $49,000, or less than 0.01% of average loans, on an annualized basis, for the quarter ended June 30, 2026.
  • For the quarter ended September 30, 2026, the Company recorded a provision for credit losses of $830,000, compared to $822,000 for the quarter ended June 30, 2026. The provision for credit loss expense for the quarter ended September 30, 2026 was primarily driven by loan growth.
  • Allowance for credit losses (“ACL”) was $46.0 million, or 0.77% of total loans, at September 30, 2026, an increase of $553,000 from $45.5 million, or 0.77% of total loans, at June 30, 2026. The increase in the ACL from June 30, 2026 was primarily driven by a provision for credit losses, partially offset by loan charge-offs, as noted above.

Capital

  • For the quarter ended September 30, 2026, book value per share decreased $0.20, or 1.7%, to $11.64 and tangible book value per share (non-GAAP) decreased $0.19, or 1.9%, to $9.88, primarily reflecting changes in the fair value of available-for-sale securities resulting from market interest rate movements during the quarter.
  • At September 30, 2026, total stockholders’ equity included after-tax net unrealized losses on securities available for sale of $90.6 million, partially offset by after-tax unrealized gains on derivatives of $13.1 million. After-tax net unrecognized losses on securities held to maturity of $11.6 million were not reflected in total stockholders’ equity.
  • At September 30, 2026, the Company’s tangible equity to tangible assets ratio (non-GAAP) equaled 8.37%. Additionally, the regulatory capital ratios of both the Company and the Bank continued to be in excess of all applicable regulatory requirements as of September 30, 2026.

SAN DIEGO, Oct. 22, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — NeoVolta Inc. (NASDAQ: NEOV) (“NeoVolta” or the “Company”), a U.S.-based energy technology company delivering scalable energy storage solutions, today announced the launch of a third-party-ownership (TPO) financing platform funded by tax equity partners and designed to deploy solar and battery energy storage for both residential and commercial & industrial (C&I) customers. The TPO platform launches with an initial focus on the residential market; NeoVolta plans to extend the platform to support its C&I product line as its domestic manufacturing facility in Pendergrass, Georgia, ramps production.

Key Highlights

  • Initial $40-million financing platform with tax equity partner expected to support approximately 700 residential storage and solar-plus-storage projects.
  • Built as a third-party-ownership (TPO) platform for both residential and commercial & industrial (C&I) customers, preserving access to the federal Section 48E tax credit as the market shifts away from cash and loan purchases.
  • NV Wave, NeoVolta’s next-generation residential battery platform already shipping to customers, will be integrated into the TPO offering beginning in November 2026.
  • Launches with an initial focus on residential, with plans to extend the platform to NeoVolta’s C&I product line as its Georgia manufacturing facility ramps production.

The residential launch comes as the U.S. residential energy storage market continues to shift from cash and loan purchases toward third-party-owned (TPO) structures. Aurora Solar’s 2026 Solar Snapshot survey found 55% of installers now call TPO their leading residential financing option, driven in part by the Section 25D tax credit’s expiration for homeowner-owned systems placed in service after Dec. 31, 2025, while the Section 48E credit remains available to the owner of a third-party-owned system. NeoVolta also plans to begin integrating NV Wave, its next-generation residential battery energy storage product, which has received FEOC compliance confirmation and domestic content certification, into the TPO offering starting in November 2026.

The company is launching with an initial $40-million financing platform expected to support approximately 700 residential projects. Its initial pipeline includes contracted projects for income-qualified California homeowners eligible for the state’s Self-Generation Incentive Program (SGIP) rebates. As of Sept. 30, the Company has deployed projects in over 50 homes.

The TPO platform is managed with support from Luminia, NeoVolta’s longtime energy financing and deployment partner, bringing together NeoVolta’s energy storage capabilities with Luminia’s experience in renewable energy financing, project deployment including its installer network and third-party ownership programs.

“The residential energy market has changed, but the need for affordable, reliable solar and battery energy storage has not,” said Ardes Johnson, Chief Executive Officer of NeoVolta. “Our TPO platform is built to serve both our residential and C&I customers, and we’re launching it with residential. Residential remains a critical piece of our business: a near-term revenue driver as our Georgia manufacturing facility ramps production, and a long-term pillar of our growth and our brand alongside our commercial and utility-scale platforms. We also plan to extend the TPO platform to support our C&I product line as production ramps at Pendergrass. It is a new way to keep bringing these technologies to customers while expanding NeoVolta beyond equipment sales into deployment and recurring energy services, a natural extension of our Build and Deploy strategy.”

“The TPO platform brings financing, installation and ongoing support together in one offering, giving customers a simpler and more affordable way to access solar and battery storage without buying and managing the equipment themselves,” said David Field, Chief Executive Officer of Luminia. “By simplifying the process and providing long-term support, we can help more customers take control of their energy costs.”

For NeoVolta, the TPO platform establishes a scalable channel for deploying energy storage across its residential and C&I businesses while participating in a broader portion of the project lifecycle, and is intended to be the first of a series of tax equity partners funded financing vehicles designed to accelerate NeoVolta’s residential and commercial energy storage deployments. The platform’s initial offering includes residential solar-plus-storage and standalone battery storage, with C&I offerings to follow as the platform expands.

Everett, Washington, Oct. 22, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — As AI, cloud and high-speed networking drive higher fiber density in data centers, technicians installing or troubleshooting fiber connections need to inspect connector end faces hidden within densely populated patch panels. The process increases troubleshooting time, operational complexity and the risk of network disruption. To address these challenges, Fluke Networks today announced new inspection tips for the FI-3000 FiberInspector™ Pro, enabling access to MMC fiber connections in high-density environments without disturbing critical network infrastructure.

The new portfolio consists of two MMCE extended-reach inspection tips, available in keyed and keyless versions, that eliminate one of the most common challenges in high-density data centers: accessing fiber connectors for inspection without disturbing active infrastructure. The tips provide direct access to bulkhead connectors and patch panel ports from the front of the rack, reducing the need to disconnect multiple fiber assemblies while accelerating troubleshooting and helping protect network uptime.

Contaminated fiber remains one of the leading causes of optical network performance issues. In an NTT-Advanced Technology study, 96% of installers and 80% of network operators reported problems related to connector end-face contamination. As connector density increases, so does the challenge of inspecting and maintaining fiber connections. Multi-fiber connectors create more opportunities for contamination while making access and inspection more difficult. The new MMC inspection tips help technicians follow fiber inspection best practices, inspect hard-to-reach connectors and maintain fiber quality without adding workflow complexity.

“The industry’s push toward greater fiber density is transforming data center infrastructure, but it’s also creating new challenges for the teams responsible for keeping networks running reliably,” said Mark Mullins, Global Product Manager, Fluke Networks. “Technicians shouldn’t have to disrupt installed infrastructure just to inspect a fiber connection. With these new FI-3000 inspection tips, we’re removing a longstanding operational tradeoff by enabling access to hard-to-reach MMC connectors from the front of the rack. That means faster installation and troubleshooting, less complexity and greater confidence that critical networks remain online and performing as expected.”

Together, the new inspection tips help reduce the operational burden associated with maintaining and troubleshooting fiber infrastructure. Rather than disconnecting adjacent connections to gain access or spending time locating the correct fiber from the back of a rack, technicians can inspect connectors directly through the front of populated patch panels. This streamlined workflow helps accelerate commissioning, troubleshooting and routine maintenance activities.

The MMC tips are designed for use with the FI-3000 FiberInspector Ultra, part of Versiv™, the industry’s leading Cabling Certification platform, which also supports twisted pair cabling along with single-and multifiber connections.  Contractors using the platform report minimal training time and Fluke offers factory-certified training with over 10,000 certified technicians worldwide. Documentation of results is offered through LinkWare™, the most widely accepted reporting software with nearly 40,000 downloads and nearly 200 million results stored.
