With new leadership and a renewed sense of purpose, Cycurion is bringing mission-focused tenacity and next-generation technology across the company, including to Digital Ally’s proven product line.

MCLEAN, Va., Oct. 21, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Cycurion, Inc., a Delaware corporation (NASDAQ: CYCU) (“Cycurion” or the “Company”), a leading AI-driven, tech-enabled cybersecurity solutions provider, today announced continued growth in its Digital Ally video solutions business. Over the past 30 days, including October activity, Digital Ally has secured approximately $383,000 in new and expanded contracts with law enforcement agencies across the Midwest.

This activity comes as Cycurion’s team of former Special Operations and Intelligence Community professionals leads a broader renewal of the Company’s structure and strategy.

“When we acquired Digital Ally, we inherited a talented, dedicated workforce,” said L. Kevin Kelly, Chairman and CEO of Cycurion. “The same caliber of talent that is rebuilding Cycurion is now driving a broader revitalization across the Company. Our teammates from the Special Operations and Intelligence communities bring a distinct mindset grounded in tenacity and a deep understanding of cutting-edge technology. They also understand, better than most, the importance of reliable equipment. That influence is already visible across the organization.”

Over the past 30 days, Digital Ally has secured approximately $383,000 in new and expanded contracts spanning in-car video systems, body-worn cameras, cloud-based digital evidence management, and expansions for existing customers. Solutions include the EVO HD and EVO Core in-car video systems, FirstVu Pro body-worn cameras, and multi-year unlimited cloud plans (typically 5-year/90-day). Several agencies funded purchases upfront, including through grant sources, while others extended existing plans and added equipment to support ongoing operations.

A consistent theme among these wins is agencies’ preference for Digital Ally’s innovative video products, responsive customer service, and ability to design solutions around each department’s specific requirements.

“These results show the continued demand for practical, high-quality video and evidence solutions among law enforcement agencies. And our products continue to improve,” said L. Kevin Kelly. “Agencies are choosing Digital Ally because the products work in the field, the support is responsive, and we build around what each department actually needs.”

This momentum builds on the strong foundation established with the Digital Ally acquisition and reinforces Cycurion’s broader strategy of delivering integrated public safety technologies. The recent contracts add to Digital Ally’s established base of more than 800 law enforcement, municipal, and public safety clients. Combined with Cycurion’s AI-driven cybersecurity and managed services capabilities, the portfolio positions the Company to offer comprehensive solutions that protect video systems, evidence, and the networks that support them.

Agreement signed at Sheikh Zayed Museum in Abu Dhabi pairs VivoPower’s powered land and data center infrastructure capabilities with Open Innovation AI’s sovereign AI orchestration and security platform.

The partners see a sovereign AI opportunity of more than 40GW in Europe alone, across government administration, defense, medical, educational and financial services sovereign cloud and will target at least 1GW of capacity over the next three years, with further demand across the GCC and Asia.

VivoPower to lead site development, power procurement and facility operations; Open Innovation AI to provide the orchestration, AI operations and security layer.

Builds on Open Innovation AI’s track record, experience designing, deploying and operating sovereign AI platforms for government and enterprise environments and clients in the UAE.

LONDON, UK / ABU DHABI, UAE, Oct. 21, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — VivoPower PLC (Nasdaq: VIVO) (“VivoPower” or the “Company”), a leading B Corp-certified global developer and owner of powered land and data center infrastructure for AI compute applications, today announced that it has executed definitive heads of agreement (“Agreement”) with Open Innovation AI (“OI”), the UAE-based AI orchestration, operations and security platform company to jointly explore and develop secure sovereign AI Data Centers across the Nordics, Mainland Europe, the GCC and selective countries in Asia.

The Agreement was signed at Sheikh Zayed Museum in Abu Dhabi on Wednesday, 21 October 2026, in the presence of senior leadership from both companies. The signing in the UAE capital reflects Abu Dhabi’s growing role as a global hub for sovereign AI, and the ambition of both partners to take that model to new markets.

Demand for AI compute is growing faster than the power, land and platforms available to host it. Governments and enterprises increasingly want capacity that remains under their control, with sovereignty over infrastructure, data, models and AI services, supported by strong cyber security and governance. The collaboration combines VivoPower’s expertise in securing power and developing data center infrastructure with Open Innovation AI’s orchestration, AI operations and security capabilities.

Under the Agreement, the two companies will work together to originate and deliver AI data center projects with control and security embedded from design to operation. Open Innovation AI brings its Full Stack AI Fabric, combining orchestration and scheduling, AI and ML operations, agentic workflows, agent harness and AI security into one platform. VivoPower brings site sourcing and acquisition, site development, power and facility operations, and local market municipality and sovereign relationships.

What sovereign cloud means

Sovereign cloud is AI and cloud infrastructure that a nation, and the organizations it trusts, can fully control. In a conventional public cloud, data, models and operations can ultimately be subject to foreign jurisdiction, foreign-controlled operators or a single vendor’s technology. A sovereign cloud keeps every critical layer secure under local law and local control:

  • Sovereign infrastructure: the land, power, buildings and compute are located in-country and owned or controlled by domestic or trusted partners.
  • Data sovereignty: data is stored and processed within national borders, governed by local law and protected from extraterritorial access.
  • Operational sovereignty: the platform is run, monitored and supported by trusted local teams, and can operate in private cloud, on-premises or fully air-gapped environments.
  • Technology sovereignty: governments and enterprises control the software stack, models and security, without lock-in to any single foreign provider or hardware vendor.

Sovereign AI applies these principles across the full AI lifecycle, from GPU orchestration and model training to the AI applications and agents that power public services, critical national infrastructure, defense, healthcare, finance and industry.

A large and growing opportunity

Demand for sovereign AI capacity is accelerating rapidly at a time when sovereigns are realizing they have limited excess power for their own sovereign cloud needs, let alone to allocate to hyperscalers and AI companies. Governments are moving to secure their own compute, and power has become the prerequisite. Without secured, scalable power there can be no sovereign AI, which makes powered land the starting point of every sovereign AI project. In addition, governments need development partners to deliver the AI infrastructure and they need a technology and orchestration partner to deliver the sovereign cloud. Against this backdrop, VivoPower and Open Innovation AI see an initial opportunity of more than 40GW in Europe alone and will target at least 1GW of capacity over the next three years, with further demand across the GCC and Asia. Through VivoPower’s existing assets, Nordic pipeline and sovereign relationships, together with OI’s track record of orchestrating sovereign cloud solutions, the Partnership will seek to become the leading AI sovereign solution for governments in the target jurisdictions.

What the agreement covers

The Agreement sets out the framework for the collaboration. The parties intend to progress individual projects under separate, project-specific agreements, with definitive documentation to follow in due course.

As a first step, VivoPower has partnered with Open Innovation AI to deploy its software solutions, covering orchestration, AI operations and security, across VivoPower’s portfolio and Nordic pipeline.

Open Innovation AI’s role builds on the sovereign AI know-how it has developed in the UAE, one of the world’s earliest and most ambitious adopters of sovereign cloud. The company has designed, deployed and operated AI labs and platforms for government and enterprise environments where local control, security and operational governance are critical. That experience gives the partnership a practical foundation to support projects across the targeted jurisdictions.

A natural fit of ambitions

The partnership is also a natural fit of ambitions. VivoPower is pursuing large-scale growth as a global developer of AI-ready power and data center infrastructure for sovereigns. Open Innovation AI is expanding its orchestration and security platform well beyond the UAE into international markets. Together, the companies intend to combine powered infrastructure with the software layer required to run AI safely, efficiently and under full sovereign control.

The aim is simple: give nations and enterprises a faster path from powered land to production-ready AI capacity that remains secure, governed and locally controlled. This in turn will drive sovereign prosperity and national security.

Why the partnership is positioned to win

Today, most governments building sovereign AI capacity must bring together power developers, builders, hardware suppliers, cloud providers and software vendors themselves, and often still depend on foreign hyperscalers for the critical software layer. The US CLOUD Act means European sovereigns in particular need a neutral solution and those developed in Abu Dhabi are some of the most advanced in the world. VivoPower and Open Innovation AI offer a different model:

  • One partner from site to service: a single, integrated offering that covers powered land, data center development and operations, and the orchestration, AI operations and security platform, with clear accountability from day one.
  • Power where it is scarcest: access to power is now the main constraint on new AI capacity. VivoPower brings powered land and data center infrastructure across Norway, Finland and the UAE, and a pipeline of sites with access to low-cost power.
  • A proven sovereign platform: Open Innovation AI has designed, deployed and operated its platform for government critical infrastructure and enterprise environments in the UAE, where local control, security and governance are essential.
  • Independent and hardware-agnostic: the Sovereign AI Fabric runs across private cloud, on-premises and air-gapped environments and is not tied to any single hardware vendor or hyperscaler, so nations keep control of their technology choices.
  • Faster time to production: pairing ready sites with a pre-integrated software stack shortens the path from energized site to production-ready AI capacity.
  • Security by design: cyber security and governance are embedded from facility design through to the AI models and agents running on the platform.

A partnership across four regions

VivoPower and Open Innovation AI will focus on four regions where demand for sovereign AI capacity is accelerating:

  • The Nordics: building on VivoPower’s existing asset in Mo i Rana, Norway and its proprietary pipeline across the Nordics.
  • The GCC: building on Open Innovation AI’s home base in the UAE and VivoPower’s regional presence in Abu Dhabi to support national AI strategies across the Gulf and wider region.
  • Mainland Europe: helping European governments and industry meet growing requirements for AI capacity, cyber security, data sovereignty and operational control under European governance.
  • Selective Asian Countries: serving fast-growing markets investing in domestic AI capability, cyber-resilient infrastructure and strategic digital independence, in jurisdictions that are supportive of AI infrastructure development and where VivoPower has a sourcing advantage through low-cost power.

Alex Cuppage, Chief Investment Officer of VivoPower PLC, said: “VivoPower is committed to working with nations as their most trusted long-term and aligned AI infrastructure partner to deliver leading sovereign AI infrastructure. We believe that sovereigns who develop leading AI infrastructure, supported by a secure and full stack sovereign cloud solution will drive national prosperity and security. In most cases, allocations of a nation’s natural resources of power and water to sovereign cloud represents the highest and best use. The UAE is globally seen as one of the most advanced nations utilizing sovereign compute. We are delighted to establish this partnership with Open Innovation AI, a proven sovereign AI orchestration and security platform, offering governments and enterprises a complete path from site to secure AI service. Signing this agreement in Abu Dhabi, at the heart of the region’s AI ambition, is a fitting start. We are excited to work together with sovereigns across the Nordics, Mainland Europe, the GCC and Asia to help develop their compute power infrastructure, which will equate to national prosperity and national security.”

Kevin Chin, Executive Chairman and CEO, VivoPower PLC, said: “Sovereign AI needs more than power and buildings. It needs a trusted, secure platform to run on. Our partnership with Open Innovation AI lets VivoPower offer sovereigns a complete solution, from powered land to production-ready AI. It is an important step in building VivoPower into a leading independent sovereign AI infrastructure partner, and in creating long-term value for our shareholders across our existing portfolio and near-term pipeline.”

Dr. Abed Benaichouche, Co-Founder and CEO of Open Innovation AI, said: “Sovereign AI is not only about compute capacity; it is about securing and controlling the technology layer that allows governments and enterprises to run AI safely, locally and at scale. VivoPower shares our belief that every nation should control its own intelligence. Together, we can bring secure AI Data Centers online faster across the Nordics, Mainland Europe, the GCC and Asia, and take the UAE’s AI expertise to new markets.”

Company underscores substantial digital asset holdings, potential $225 million in additional cash capitalization, AI commercialization opportunities targeting over 20,000 retail locations, and an expanding intellectual property enforcement strategy with multibillion-dollar potential

CORNELIUS, N.C., Oct. 21, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Alpha Modus Holdings, Inc. (NASDAQ: AMOD) (“Alpha Modus” or “the Company”) today provided an update on its digital asset holdings, ARIA, the Adaptive Retail Intelligence Architecture , patent enforcement program and Alpha Cash fintech platform.

The Company’s subsidiary, AMOD Tech Pte. Ltd., a Singapore private company limited by shares, holds Bitcoin valued at more than $250 million.* The Company’s subsidiary, Alpha Modus, Corp., is advancing ARIA and a patent enforcement program, while subsidiary Alpha Modus Financial Services, LLC oversees Alpha Cash. Management believes each business offers its own opportunity for long-term value creation.

“Alpha Modus today is fundamentally different from the company investors were evaluating just a few months ago,” said William Alessi, Chief Executive Officer of Alpha Modus. “Alpha Modus has substantially transformed its asset base. Separately, Alpha Modus, Corp. has successfully cleared important federal patent litigation hurdles and is advancing ARIA commercialization. These are tangible developments, each with its own potential to contribute to long-term enterprise value.”

Bitcoin Holdings Exceed $250 Million in Value,* With Warrants That Could Add $225 Million in Cash

On September 30, 2026, Alpha Modus completed a strategic transaction through which its wholly owned subsidiary, AMOD Tech Pte. Ltd., acquired 3,170 Bitcoin in connection with the issuance of approximately 51.6 million shares of common stock and accompanying warrants.

Based on Bitcoin’s market price as of October 20, 2026, the holdings represent more than $250 million in gross digital asset value, compared with an original agreed transaction valuation of approximately $225 million.

The transaction also included warrants to purchase an additional 51,621,560 shares, exercisable at $4.36 per share. The warrants are not exercisable on a cashless basis, and if exercised in full for cash under their existing terms, the warrants could provide approximately $225 million in additional gross proceeds to the Company.

“The Company’s Bitcoin transaction substantially expanded our asset base. It also established the potential to receive approximately $225 million in additional cash proceeds through warrant exercises. We believe these two components are important to understanding the scale of the transaction and the financial flexibility they could provide,” said Alessi.

ARIA Grocery Beta Moves Ahead With Greer’s Markets

Alpha Modus, Corp. is advancing ARIA, its artificial intelligence retail platform, through its strategic relationship with Circle the Wagons.

Circle the Wagons has identified a targeted pipeline of several hundred independent grocery retailers representing at least 20,000 retail locations, or roughly two-thirds of the U.S. independent grocery market.

Management believes the network represents a substantial opportunity for ARIA in one of the nation’s most fragmented retail sectors.

The recently announced beta testing agreement with Greer’s Markets, a 29-location grocer, is the first formal milestone in this initiative. Beta setup and baseline data collection is underway and progressing on schedule.

Over the next 9 months, Circle the Wagons intends to engage its identified retail prospects and pursue additional commercial agreements.

“Through Circle the Wagons, Alpha Modus, Corp. is addressing a substantial market with a defined strategy and an established network of prospective retail partners,” said Alessi. “Greer’s represents our first beta engagement, with a focus on translating this market opportunity into commercial adoption. We believe ARIA has the potential to become an important AI platform for independent retailers, materially improving operational efficiency and enhancing the customer experience.

Patent Cases Advance After Federal Court Rulings

On September 29 and 30, 2026, the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas adopted recommendations denying motions to dismiss filed by 7-Eleven, Johnson Controls and Sensormatic Electronics, Lowe’s, The Kroger Co. and Creative Realities in patent infringement cases brought by Alpha Modus, Corp. On August 21, 2026, the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Texas denied MNTN’s motion to dismiss under 35 U.S.C. § 101. The rulings allow the affected cases to advance.

Alpha Modus, Corp. has also identified dozens of additional potential infringement claims that have not yet been filed. Management intends to evaluate them through a phased enforcement strategy that could include licensing arrangements, negotiated resolutions and judicial remedies.

“The approach is deliberate: advance the existing cases and pursue additional opportunities where the facts and economics support doing so. The favorable federal court rulings have reinforced our confidence in the strength of our intellectual property enforcement strategy and our commitment to protecting the technologies we have developed. Management believes the potential scope of the intellectual property portfolio extends well beyond the litigation currently underway,” said Alessi.

Alpha Cash Builds Out Its Partner Program

Alpha Modus Financial Services, LLC oversees Alpha Cash, a financial technology platform focused on improving access to modern financial services for underserved and underbanked consumers. The first phase of the Alpha Cash partner portal is complete, and affiliate and reseller agreements are in place.

The portal is designed to give partners a dashboard for commissions and referrals, downloadable QR codes, payout requests and ready-made marketing materials. The team is also developing training programs for corporate and retail partners. Alpha Cash could begin onboarding affiliate partners in the coming weeks, subject to completion of testing and compliance reviews.

Three Businesses, Three Distinct Paths to Value

“AMOD Tech Pte. Ltd., Alpha Modus, Corp., and Alpha Modus Financial Services, LLC each represent distinct businesses with significant opportunities for long-term value creation,” concluded Alessi. “AMOD Tech Pte. Ltd. has established a substantial digital asset position with the potential for meaningful additional cash capitalization. Alpha Modus, Corp. continues to advance its AI commercialization strategy and an intellectual property enforcement program with opportunities extending well beyond its current litigation. Alpha Modus Financial Services, LLC is building a financial technology business addressing the needs of underserved consumers. TORONTO, Oct. 21, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Belo Sun Mining Corp. (TSX: BSX) (OTCQX: BSXGF) (the “Company” or “Belo Sun”) announces that the Brazilian Supreme Court (“STF”) issued a decision on the request for suspension of provisional relief (Suspensão de Tutela Provisória) filed by Brazil’s Federal Public Prosecutor’s Office (“MPF”) concerning the Installation License (“LI”) for the Company’s Volta Grande Gold Project (the “Project”) in Pará, Brazil. The STF partially granted the MPF’s request, temporarily suspending the court ruling that had reinstated the effectiveness of the Project’s LI.

Clovis Torres, Chief Executive Officer of Belo Sun, commented: “The STF’s recognition of the relevance of the settlement hearing established by the TRF-1 is welcomed. We are advanced in our discussions with FUNAI with the settlement agreement submitted to TRF-1 and are confident that the parties will reach an agreement in the best interests of all stakeholders.”

The STF decision provides that the LI will remain suspended until the agreement reached between Belo Sun and Brazil’s National Foundation of Indigenous Peoples (“FUNAI“) during the conciliation proceedings receives judicial approval from Brazil’s Federal Regional Court of the 1st Region (the “TRF-1“). The agreement has already been submitted to the TRF-1 for approval, which remains pending.

The Company notes that, notwithstanding the pending judicial approval of the agreement, the parties have already been complying with their respective obligations under the agreement, including Belo Sun’s commitment to refrain from carrying out any physical interventions at the Project site. Belo Sun remains committed to the ongoing conciliation process and will continue its discussions with FUNAI and the Indigenous communities.

Patient-derived liver and intestinal disease models are designed to help drug developers test whether a candidate reduces human disease in tissue before it reaches clinical trials

SAN DIEGO, Oct. 21, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — VivoSim Labs, Inc. (Nasdaq: VIVS) (the “Company” or “VivoSim”), a provider of next-generation New Approach Methodologies (NAM) 3d human cellular models for preclinical safety and efficacy, today announced that it is extending its human tissue platform beyond toxicology, the core of its business today, with efficacy testing services built on NAMkind™ disease models of the liver and intestine. The disease models are built with cells from patient donors, so they carry features of the disease itself. Drug developers can measure whether a candidate acts on those disease features in human tissue before it enters clinical trials. VivoSim offers efficacy testing alongside toxicology on its liver and gastrointestinal (GI) models.

The move builds on demonstrated disease model excellence already demonstrated. Its intestinal efficacy platform, built in part from cells of patients with ulcerative colitis or Crohn’s disease, received a “Poster of Distinction” award at Digestive Disease Week in May 2025, in work showing that the platform responds to clinically used therapeutics. VivoSim has also used its human disease models to identify new molecular targets that drive inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) and to explore how known drugs act.

Lack of efficacy is the most common reason drug candidates fail in clinical trials. In an analysis of more than 28,000 clinical trials stopped before reaching their endpoints, more than twice as many were stopped for negative results or lack of efficacy as for safety (Razuvayevskaya et al., Nature Genetics, 2024).

“Toxicology is the core of our business today, and it will remain a core service,” said Keith Murphy, Executive Chairman of VivoSim Labs. “Our customers often need help with whether a candidate is likely to work, because that is where many drugs fall short in the clinic. Disease models let us address that question on the same human tissue platform we already use for safety, but leveraging patient-derived diseased cell sources so a customer can learn more before committing a program to clinical trials. We believe disease models could more than double our addressable market.”

NAMkind™ Disease Models

  • Liver (MASH): The NAMkind™ MASH disease model co-cultures healthy human liver cells with stellate, Kupffer, and endothelial cells from a donor with metabolic dysfunction-associated steatohepatitis (MASH), producing steatotic tissue with fibrosis. Compounds are dosed repeatedly over 14 or 21 days, with readouts for fibrosis and liver function. Cell-health markers measured in the same study separate an anti-fibrotic effect from cell damage.
  • Intestine (IBD): The NAMkind™ IBD disease model is built from colon and small-intestine organoids derived from donors with ulcerative colitis and Crohn’s disease, with twelve donors currently available. It measures barrier integrity, inflammation, and fibrosis in the same well and reports results donor by donor. A healthy tissue comparator arm is available.
  • Pharmacodynamic (PD) & Target Biomarker Profiling: The platform evaluates target engagement, gene expression panels, cytokine profiling, extracellular matrix turnover markers, and other relevant biomarkers across donor tissues, enabling sponsors to map mechanism-of-action and dose-response relationships alongside functional efficacy readouts.

In both models, each study runs the client’s compound alongside an approved or clinically validated reference compound in the same donor tissue, such as resmetirom in the MASH model or tofacitinib or upadacitinib in the IBD model. In results VivoSim has published for the IBD model, JAK inhibitors that look alike on paper had different effects on fibrosis, barrier function and inflammation, and methotrexate, a clinically used anti-inflammatory, reduced a fibrosis marker in a dose-dependent way in both Crohn’s patient models tested.

“By leveraging patient-derived donor tissues, our disease platforms preserve the complex multiomic signatures and heterogeneous phenotypes seen in real-world clinical populations,” said Amar Sethi, M.D., Ph.D., Chief Scientific Officer of VivoSim Labs. “Crucially, we can now evaluate candidate compounds not only for primary disease endpoints like fibrosis and barrier repair, but also for target-specific pharmacodynamic biomarkers. This dual capability allows drug developers to confirm both functional human efficacy and underlying drug mechanism on the exact same platform before entering clinical trials.”
