Where Classic Design Meets User Creativity: iCAUR Interprets “Classic Never Fades”

  • At the 2026 iCAUR International User Summit, 20 customized vehicles were on display, including three official customization models. The concept design by a Hong Kong winner and the real-vehicle build by a Malaysian designer show how personal interests and regional culture can find expression in a vehicle’s design.
  • Building on its classic design language, iCAUR extends personalization across different lifestyles with three official customized models: the V25 Game Changer, V23 Forge, and V27 Sun Roam. All three are slated for launch by early 2027.
  • iCAUR has established official user clubs in nine countries and plans to extend its user clubs into more countries through its global Club Connect initiative in 2027. The brand will also set up dedicated areas for personalized customization displays in every showroom, giving user creativity a lasting channel into product and ecosystem development.

WUHU, China, Oct. 20, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — At the 2026 iCAUR International User Summit, iCAUR presented 20 customized vehicles under the theme “Classic Never Fades.” Three of them are official customized models. The display showed how the brand brings together Future Classic Design, new energy technology, and user co-creation to help users express their individuality and make it part of everyday life. User creativity moves from shared ideas to real vehicles, and from there into a user ecosystem rooted in products, culture, and lifestyle. In doing so, iCAUR carries its classic design into the new energy era and brings it through with new life.

Starting with Personal Interests: Design for Different Lifestyles

How can a car bring together people who share the same interests? Wong Po Ying, Open Group champion at the Hong Kong iCAUR V23 AI Design Competition, presented “CYBER PARTY,” a vision for a V23 with a deployable DJ stage and a rear bar counter — a mobile space that blends music, creativity, and outdoor socializing.

Chan Hui Fung Marcus, champion of the Student Group, designed his V23 Omni-X to move between different sides of daily life. In this modular concept, the tailgate turns into a coffee workspace, while the trunk can be fitted with tool drawers and a folding repair bench for bike repairs. Both designs turn personal interests into practical features and open up new ways to expand what a vehicle can do.

Malaysian designer Wang Weiquan brings his hometown into a real vehicle. Daniel Lai Seng Kong, iCAUR’s representative in Malaysia, presented the design on Wang’s behalf: three young people of different ethnicities stand side by side looking into the distance, while details on the roof and body incorporate elements of the local national flag and national flower. Moving from industrial design to graphic design, Wang now looks at how vehicles read visually from different angles. Seeing the design move from screen to the body of a real vehicle left him deeply excited and gave co-creation a tangible outcome.

Classic Design Sets the Foundation, User Creativity Enriches Official Customization

These user expressions are also the starting point for the brand’s effort to grow customization culture. Ronna, CEO of iCAUR International, said that classic design should be recognized by users today and still appreciated years later, while leaving room for personal expression. In global markets, 50% of iCAUR users customize their vehicles, and their creativity also feeds into product evolution.

3

[iCAUR V-Series Officially Customized Vehicles and All New V25]

The three official customized vehicles embody this approach. The V25 Game Changer turns game-controller colors and gamepad cues into vehicle details, making digital-life passions visible in the design; the V23 Forge keeps its boxy silhouette, reinforcing its stance with widebody wheel arches, an upright grille, and gloss-black trim; the V27 Sun Roam draws inspiration from 1980s off-road vehicles and vintage cameras, pairing rugged proportions with refined details for those drawn to exploration and well-made journeys. The three models share a classic design foundation, yet each has a personality of its own. They are slated for launch by early 2027, with timing subject to local regulations and market conditions.

Co-creation, On Site and in Local Communities

[Group Photo of Brand Ambassadors]

Keeping creativity flowing into products and daily life requires long-term exchange. iCAUR has established official user clubs in nine countries and plans to extend its user clubs into more countries through the global Club Connect initiative in 2027, with user feedback feeding directly into product and experience improvements. That night, iCAUR named its first brand ambassadors. Going forward, it will continue to recognize, through Club Connect, users who have contributed to the brand and its community.

At the same time, iCAUR plans to set up dedicated display areas for personalized customization in every showroom and showcase customized classic models alongside future new-vehicle launches. Design concepts become real vehicles, and those vehicles spark experience sharing within local communities. Through this, iCAUR keeps users’ creativity flowing into the brand’s evolution — giving “Classic Never Fades” a living meaning.

HONG KONG, SHANGHAI and FLORHAM PARK, N.J., Oct. 20, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — HUTCHMED (China) Limited (“HUTCHMED” or the “Company”) (Nasdaq/AIM:HCM; HKEX:13) today announces that further to its announcement on September 3, 2026  and following the completion of customary closing conditions including antitrust regulatory reviews, the exclusive development and license agreement between HUTCHMED Limited (a subsidiary of the Company) and a subsidiary of GSK plc (“GSK”) has closed. The agreement grants the GSK subsidiary worldwide rights excluding Mainland China, Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan to develop and commercialize HMPL-A830.

This first-in-class Antibody-Targeted Therapy Conjugate (“ATTC”) drug candidate comprises a highly selective and potent Kirsten rat sarcoma (“KRAS”) small molecule inhibitor payload conjugated to an anti-epidermal growth factor receptor (“EGFR”) antibody. Colorectal, pancreatic and lung cancers have the highest incidence of patients with KRAS-altered tumors, who often lack safe and durable KRAS therapy. HMPL-A830 is designed to address this need by delivering a KRAS inhibitor directly to EGFR-expressing tumors, while simultaneously blocking EGFR and KRAS signaling to enhance efficacy, durability, and tolerability. The Phase Ia part of a global clinical trial of HMPL-A830 in patients with unresectable, advanced or metastatic solid tumors in China and the US was initiated in September 2026 (clinicaltrials.gov identifier NCT07718581).

Under the terms of the agreement, HUTCHMED Limited is responsible for the global Phase I development program. The GSK subsidiary will be responsible for all subsequent clinical development and commercialization activities in its territory. Following the closing of the exclusive license agreement, HUTCHMED Limited expects to receive US$110 million upfront payment shortly, and may receive additional development, regulatory and commercial milestone payments of up to a total of US$1.185 billion, as well as tiered royalties on annual net sales.

About HUTCHMED ATTCs

HUTCHMED’s ATTCs represent a next-generation approach to precision oncology, combining monoclonal antibodies with proprietary small-molecule inhibitor payload platforms to deliver dual mechanisms of action. Unlike traditional cytotoxin-based antibody-drug conjugates, ATTCs combine targeted therapies to achieve synergistic anti-tumor activity and durable responses in preclinical models, outperforming standalone antibody or small-molecule inhibitor components in both efficacy and safety.

Built on over 20 years of targeted therapy expertise, the ATTC platforms enable development of drug candidates across diverse cancer types. By leveraging antibody-guided delivery and tumor-specific payload release, ATTCs improve accessibility to tumors and reduce off-tumor toxicity. This may overcome the on-target, off-tumor toxicity limitations of systemically-delivered small molecule inhibitors, which in turn could ensure safer long-term use and support combinations with chemotherapy and immunotherapy in earlier-line treatments.

About KRAS

Rat sarcoma (“RAS”) mutations represent one of the most prevalent and well-established drivers in human oncology, driving the progression and aggressive pathology of multiple solid tumors. KRAS, the most dominant RAS isoform, is mutated in approximately 44% of colorectal cancer (“CRC”), 34% of lung adenocarcinoma and up to 89% of pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (“PDAC”) patients.1 KRAS regulates key downstream pathways, including RAS/MAPK and PI3K/AKT/mTOR, to drive cell differentiation, proliferation, and survival.

While recent targeted therapies have validated KRAS as a viable therapeutic target, significant clinical gaps persist, particularly for patients with non-G12C mutations. Most patients eventually experience disease progression driven by acquired resistance, largely fueled by upstream receptor tyrosine kinase upregulation and secondary KRAS alterations. Beyond mutation coverage, systemic delivery of pan-KRAS and pan-RAS inhibitors is associated with on-target toxicities, such as dermatological toxicity reflecting RAS pathway inhibition in normal tissue. These present challenges for dosing, long-term tolerability, and combination with cytotoxic chemotherapy or immunotherapy backbones that constitute frontline standard-of-care.

About EGFR

EGFR is a widely expressed receptor tyrosine kinase and established driver of tumor cell proliferation, survival, and disease progression across multiple solid tumors, including CRC, PDAC, and non-small cell lung cancer (“NSCLC”). Signaling through EGFR activates the downstream RAS/MAPK and PI3K/AKT/mTOR pathways, positioning the receptor immediately upstream of KRAS. EGFR has also emerged as a key mediator of resistance to KRAS-targeted therapies, particularly in CRC, where adaptive feedback and increased upstream EGFR signaling reactivate the MAPK pathway and limit the depth and durability of KRAS inhibition. Together, these provide a strong rationale for the dual targeting of EGFR and KRAS, not only in CRC but also additional indications such as PDAC and NSCLC.

WE SEEK SAFE HARBOUR

ROCKVILLE, Md., Oct. 20, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Ascentage Pharma Group International (NASDAQ: AAPG; HKEX: 6855), a global, commercial-stage, integrated biopharmaceutical company engaged in the discovery, development and commercialization of novel, differentiated therapies to address unmet medical needs in cancer, announced today that lisaftoclax (APG-2575), the Company’s novel Bcl-2 inhibitor, has been granted a Breakthrough Therapy Designation (BTD) by the Center for Drug Evaluation (CDE) of China’s National Medical Products Administration (NMPA), in combination with acalabrutinib, for the treatment of treatment-naïve adult patients with chronic lymphocytic leukemia/small lymphocytic lymphoma (CLL/SLL).

BTDs are granted to innovative drugs or modified new drugs intended for the prevention or treatment of serious, life-threatening diseases or conditions that severely impair quality of life, for which there is no effective treatment, or where sufficient existing evidence demonstrates significant clinical advantages over currently available treatment options. Drug candidates that are granted BTDs receive priority from the CDE for communications and development guidance to accelerate drug development. Furthermore, if the applicant meets the relevant conditions after evaluation, it may apply for Priority Review status and conditional approval when submitting a New Drug Application (NDA) in China. Overall, the BTD pathway is designed to accelerate the development and review of innovative drugs and modified new drugs that offer significant clinical value or address urgent unmet clinical needs.

CLL/SLL is a clonal proliferative malignancy of B lymphocytes that predominantly affects older adults, with more than 100,000 new cases worldwide each year.1 In recent years, the incidence of CLL/SLL in China has been increasing, with some patients presenting at a younger age and with more aggressive disease.2

In CLL/SLL, immunochemotherapy and BTK inhibitors have been used as first-line treatment options and have achieved favorable response rates and survival outcomes, although certain limitations remain. Immunochemotherapy has limited efficacy in some patients, particularly in those with high-risk features such as del(17p)/TP53 mutations, complex karyotypes, and unmutated IGHV. BTK inhibitor monotherapy, which is an approved standard of care treatment, also has limitations, including insufficient depth of response and concerns regarding long-term safety, and requires continuous treatment. Once treatment fails, patients have very limited subsequent treatment options, with generally poor outcomes. Therefore, there remains an urgent clinical need for fixed-duration combination strategies that improve efficacy and depth of response while reducing adverse events.

Lisaftoclax is a novel, oral, selective Bcl-2 inhibitor developed by Ascentage Pharma. In July 2025, lisaftoclax was approved in China for the treatment of adult patients with CLL/SLL who had previously received at least one systemic therapy including a BTK inhibitor. Lisaftoclax is the first China-developed Bcl-2 inhibitor approved in China and the second Bcl-2 inhibitor approved globally. Ascentage Pharma is currently conducting four global registrational Phase III trials of lisaftoclax. One of these studies, GLORA-2, is a global registrational Phase III trial evaluating the clinical potential of lisaftoclax in combination with acalabrutinib as a first-line treatment for CLL/SLL.

Dr. Yifan Zhai, Chief Medical Officer of Ascentage Pharma, said, “This BTD recognizes the clinical potential of Lisaftoclax in combination with acalabrutinib for patients with treatment-naïve CLL/SLL and the urgent unmet need in this setting. Moving forward, we are continuing to accelerate the global clinical development of lisaftoclax across relevant indications and are striving to bring this treatment to more patients as quickly as possible.”
