DALLAS, Oct. 20, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Strive, Inc. (“Strive” or the “Company”) (Nasdaq: ASST), announced today the closing of its upsized initial public offering of 7,000,000 shares of Strive’s 15.00% Series A Perpetual SATS Preferred Stock (the “SATS Stock”), at a public offering price of $90 per share. The SATS Stock is expected to begin trading on the Nasdaq Global Market on or around October 20, 2026, under the ticker symbol “SATS.”

“The successful, upsized IPO of SATS marks a critical milestone in our strategy to maximize long-term total returns for our common equity investors,” said Matt Cole, Chairman and CEO of Strive. “We believe maintaining a high Amplification Ratio is the most important driver of our ability to outperform Bitcoin over time. SATS provides an additional tool to achieve that objective while simultaneously strengthening SATA’s credit profile by adding junior capital beneath it. With two complementary income securities, SATA designed for price stability and SATS designed for income stability, we believe Strive is better positioned than ever to capitalize on Bitcoin’s long-term growth.”

The SATS Stock accumulates cumulative dividends at a rate per annum equal to 15.00% on the stated amount of $100 per share (the “stated amount”) thereof. Regular dividends on the SATS Stock will be payable when, as and if declared by Strive’s board of directors or any duly authorized committee thereof, out of funds legally available for their payment, in arrears for each regular dividend period on each payment date to stockholders of record as of the close of business on the regular record date immediately preceding the applicable regular dividend payment date. Regular dividend dates will fall on each business day, as defined in the governing documentation for the SATS Stock, beginning on November 9, 2026. If declared in full, the first scheduled regular dividend on the SATS Stock payable will include all accrued and unpaid dividends from and after the closing date.

“We believe credit risk is easiest to manage when it is transparent,” said Jeff Walton, Chief Risk Officer. “SATS and SATA holders can observe the Bitcoin balance sheet that protects their dividend in real time, priced continuously, not just four times a year. As artificial intelligence and trading algorithms take on more portfolio-level decisions, we think our credit instruments are built for that future, interfacing with humans equipped with advanced compute. We don’t have any debt, or maturities, and we’re focused on a single obligation, the dividend. I believe that is what the best capital structure in the world looks like.”

“SATS represents the next evolution of our commitment to developing products tailored to the distinct needs of investors, introducing a fixed-rate perpetual security to our offerings,” said Ben Werkman, Chief Investment Officer. “By expanding our range of highly liquid securities, we are more precisely aligning each product with the objectives of the investors it serves. This approach reflects our broader vision of building a differentiated family of financial securities combining thoughtful structures, institutional-grade liquidity, and an unwavering commitment to long-term value creation.”

The offering was conducted pursuant to the Form S-3 registration statement, and was made only by means of a prospectus supplement and an accompanying prospectus. An electronic copy of the final prospectus supplement, together with the accompanying prospectus, is available on the SEC’s website at www.sec.gov.

Study launched earlier this year is expected to confirm previous efficacy signal in 2L KRAS-mutant MSS colorectal cancer study that saw 17 months PFS vs. 6 months for the historical standard of care

SAN DIEGO, Oct. 20, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Oncolytics Biotech® Inc. (Nasdaq: ONCY) (“Oncolytics” or the “Company”), a clinical-stage immunotherapy company developing pelareorep, today announced the Company is presenting a trial-in-progress abstract and e-poster discussing the REO 033 study at the European Society for Medical Oncology (“ESMO”) Congress 2026. REO 033 is a randomized study evaluating pelareorep in combination with folinic acid, fluorouracil, and irinotecan (“FOLFIRI”) and bevacizumab versus standard-of-care FOLFIRI and bevacizumab as second-line treatment for RAS-mutant, microsatellite-stable (“MSS”) metastatic colorectal cancer (“mCRC”) patients (link to study on ClinicalTrials.gov). The study is designed to validate the encouraging efficacy signals observed in REO 022 while generating the controlled clinical data necessary to support future regulatory interactions and potential registration.

Abstract Title: Phase 2 randomized, controlled study of pelareorep combined with 5-fluorouracil/leucovorin/ irinotecan (FOLFIRI) + bevacizumab (bev) for the second-line treatment of RAS-mutated, microsatellite-stable (MSS) metastatic colorectal cancer
Presentation Type: e-Poster
Presentation Number: 994eTiP

Highlights from the REO 033 trial-in-progress abstract include:

  • The randomized, controlled, open-label study will evaluate patients with RAS-mutated, MSS mCRC who have progressed on first-line oxaliplatin-based therapy.
  • Thirty patients per arm will be randomized to receive either: 1) pelareorep + FOLFIRI + bevacizumab, or 2) FOLFIRI + bevacizumab.
  • The primary endpoint is objective response rate (“ORR”). Secondary endpoints include other efficacy assessments, such as overall survival (“OS”), progression-free survival (“PFS”), disease control rate, duration of response (“DOR”), and safety and tolerability.
  • Blood and tumor samples are being collected for biomarker evaluations.

Recent U.S. Food and Drug Administration interactions have provided the opportunity to initiate a pivotal expansion of the REO 033 study (Part B) that would build upon the trial currently enrolling (Part A) and could support an accelerated approval submission based on ORR and a full approval based on PFS.

A previous study, REO 022, evaluated second-line KRAS-mutant, MSS mCRC patients with treatment histories similar to those of patients enrolled in the current study. In that study, the ORR, median PFS, median OS, and median DOR were more than doubled in patients treated with pelareorep + FOLFIRI/bevacizumab compared to historical outcomes for patients treated with FOLFIRI and bevacizumab alone.1-4

“I am thrilled to see the recent momentum in the REO 033 study among sites, physicians, and patients,” said Sanjay Goel, M.D., M.S., FASCO, Professor of Medicine at Rutgers Cancer Institute, and Lead Investigator. “Having been involved in the REO 022 study, I have a strong conviction that pelareorep can positively impact patients in a meaningful way, and this controlled randomized study will help prove that out.”

Jared Kelly, Chief Executive Officer of Oncolytics, commented, “Second-line mCRC development is generally stalling because emerging therapies are not working well, especially in RAS-mutant MSS patients. With mCRC growing faster than almost every cancer in the U.S. and only minimally effective options for second-line patients, pelareorep has the potential in this controlled study to change the standard of care by improving what has been in place for the better part of a decade. It’s a multi-billion-dollar market that is being largely ignored because nothing works better than the standard of care. Adding pelareorep to the standard of care could double the efficacy while maintaining an acceptable safety profile. This is what drug development is all about.”

About Pelareorep
Pelareorep is an intravenously delivered, systemically active, investigational immunotherapy with a dual mechanism of action that selectively replicates in tumor cells while activating both innate and adaptive anti-tumor immune responses, including the upregulation of key inflammatory cytokines resulting in the formation of tertiary lymphoid structures and the expansion of tumor-infiltrating lymphocytes. It has been administered to over 1,200 patients, and clinical studies have demonstrated pelareorep’s potential to enhance the activity of checkpoint inhibitors and other anti-cancer therapies across multiple solid tumor types.

About Oncolytics Biotech Inc.
Oncolytics is a clinical-stage biotechnology company developing pelareorep, an investigational intravenously delivered double-stranded RNA immunotherapeutic agent. Pelareorep has demonstrated encouraging results in multiple first-line pancreatic cancer studies, two randomized Phase 2 studies in metastatic breast cancer, and early-phase studies in anal and colorectal cancer. It is designed to induce anti-cancer immune responses by converting immunologically inactive tumors to active through the activation of innate and adaptive immune responses.

The Company is advancing pelareorep in combination with chemotherapy and/or checkpoint inhibitors in metastatic gastrointestinal cancers, where pelareorep has received Fast Track designation from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration for colorectal, anal, and pancreatic cancer. Oncolytics is actively pursuing strategic partnerships to accelerate development and maximize commercial impact. NeOnc’s November FDA Meeting and Abu Dhabi Treatment Developments Put Brain Cancer Research in the Spotlight

DENVER, Oct. 20, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — (247marketnews.com) — At an ugly-sweater party, the one with the most flair gets everyone talking. On Wall Street, attention can shift just as quickly when a battered chart meets a fresh set of corporate developments and an approaching regulatory milestone.

Enter NeOnc Technologies Holdings (NASDAQ:NTHI), a clinical-stage biotechnology company developing investigational treatments for central nervous system cancers. Its recent developments offer investors more than a chart to scrutinize: an upcoming FDA meeting for NEO212, expanded development and stimulus activity in Abu Dhabi, and an emotionally powerful compassionate-use update involving a critically ill child.

The human story is especially compelling. On October 16, NeOnc reported that treating physicians observed early improvement in a three-year-old boy with an aggressive brain tumor who received investigational NEO100 through the company’s Compassionate Care program in Abu Dhabi. According to the company, the child was breathing independently without ventilator support and beginning to move his legs after treatment began.

For his family, those developments represent meaningful moments of hope. For investors, they are a reason to pay attention, but also a reminder to separate an individual patient’s experience from established clinical evidence. Compassionate-use treatment is generally considered when a patient faces a serious condition and satisfactory alternatives are lacking. Providing access requires coordination and appropriate medical and regulatory oversight, but NeOnc explicitly cautioned that this single case does not establish that NEO100 caused the improvement or predict outcomes in other patients.

Meanwhile, a concrete regulatory catalyst is approaching. NeOnc scheduled a November 17, 2026, End-of-Phase 1 meeting with the FDA to discuss NEO212, including the proposed Phase 2 population, study design, endpoints, dose selection, and evidence needed to support a future marketing application. The company completed dose escalation and selected 610 mg as its recommended Phase 2 dose after a dose-limiting toxicity occurred at 810 mg. The FDA discussion could help clarify the next stage of development, although a scheduled meeting is not an endorsement of the drug, a finalized trial design, or a guarantee of approval.

There is more to the story than one meeting. In June, Abu Dhabi’s Department of Health granted investigational authorization for NeOnc’s NEO100 programs spanning adult development and a pediatric pathway subject to further protocol review. The company also reported in August that executives had invested approximately $629,000 in open-market stock purchases following positive Phase 2a results for NEO100.

So, before the Thanksgiving table is set, NTHI offers a story worth following: a challenging chart, an upcoming FDA discussion, and an investigational treatment program pursuing options for patients facing devastating brain cancers.

In biotechnology, catalysts can change the conversation and the evidence must ultimately do the talking.

NOT FOR DISTRIBUTION TO UNITED STATES NEWS WIRE SERVICES OR FOR DISSEMINATION IN THE UNITED STATES

VANCOUVER, British Columbia, Oct. 20, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Entrée Resources Ltd. (TSX:ETG; OTCQB:ERLFF – the “Company” or “Entrée”) is pleased to announce a non-brokered private placement of up to 11,000,000 units of the Company (the “Units”) at a price of C$2.90 per Unit for gross proceeds of up to C$31,900,000 (the “Private Placement”).

Each Unit will consist of one common share and one common share purchase warrant (a “Warrant”) of the Company. Each Warrant entitles the holder to purchase one additional common share of the Company at a price of C$3.95 for a period of three years following the date of issuance. No finder’s fees will be payable in connection with the Private Placement.

Chris Adams, the Company’s President & CEO commented, “Entrée’s Board and management are extremely pleased to announce the Private Placement, a significant component of which is to a new strategic investor, an affiliate of the Tether group of companies. This financing will strengthen our balance sheet as we work to progress the transfer of the Entrée/Oyu Tolgoi joint venture mining licenses to Oyu Tolgoi LLC and engage with the Government Working Group and other Oyu Tolgoi project stakeholders to resolve State ownership in the area of the licenses. A healthy treasury will also afford us the flexibility to conduct a re-evaluation of our corporate strategy, and in particular to investigate the possible merits of growth through the potential addition of value-accretive, synergistic royalties, streams, or other similar interests in high-quality copper and other critical metals projects to complement our world-class asset in Mongolia.”

Closing of the Private Placement is anticipated to occur in the fourth quarter of 2026 and is subject to receipt of all necessary regulatory approvals including acceptance by the Toronto Stock Exchange. The securities issued in connection with the Private Placement will be subject to a hold period of four months plus one day from the date of issuance, in accordance with applicable securities laws. Insiders of the Company may participate in the Private Placement.

The Company has also entered into an agreement with the strategic investor pursuant to which, effective upon closing, the strategic investor will receive participation rights to maintain its pro rata ownership interest in subsequent equity issuances and, if it reaches and maintains an ownership threshold of 15% of the Company’s issued and outstanding common shares, the right to nominate one individual to the Company’s board of directors.

The net proceeds from the Private Placement are expected to be used for general corporate purposes, including to fund the preparation of the Company’s updated Technical Report in respect of its interest in the Entrée/Oyu Tolgoi joint venture property, increase the Company’s presence in Mongolia, and potentially refund a portion of the deposit and reduce the metal credits the Company is required to deliver under its Equity Participation and Funding Agreement with International Royalty Corporation upon the resolution of all outstanding issues in Mongolia.

The securities being offered pursuant to the Private Placement have not been and will not be registered under the United States Securities Act of 1933, as amended (the “U.S. Securities Act”), or state securities laws and may not be offered or sold within the United States, or for the account or benefit of persons in the United States or “U.S. Persons”, as such term is defined in Regulation S promulgated under the U.S. Securities Act, absent U.S. federal and state registration or an applicable exemption from the U.S. registration requirements. This news release does not constitute an offer to sell or a solicitation of an offer to buy any of the securities in the United States.

International Scientific Presentation Underscores Encouraging Clinical Outcomes and Additional Biological Potency Findings Supporting Cell-Free Regenerative Platform

PHOENIX, Oct. 20, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Creative Medical Technology Holdings, Inc. (NASDAQ: CELZ) (“Creative Medical” or the “Company”), a clinical-stage biotechnology company advancing regenerative medicine technologies, today highlighted additional clinical and laboratory findings for Ultrasome™, its investigational cell-free regenerative medicine platform, following a presentation at the Annual Meeting of Experts in Cell and Gene Therapy held October 10, 2026, in Lima, Peru.

The study evaluated 30 patients with bilateral knee osteoarthritis over six months and found that 28 of 30 participants (93%) met study-defined response criteria. Importantly, the group’s average reported pain score declined by approximately 65% from baseline to six months. The 65% figure refers to the reduction in the group-average pain score – not the percentage of patients reporting improvement.

Clinical Results: 93% Response and Meaningful Average Symptom Improvement

  • 93% patient response: 28 of 30 participants met the study-defined criteria for clinical improvement.
  • 65% reduction in average pain score at six months post intervention.
  • 52% reduction in average WOMAC score: Mean scores reflecting osteoarthritis-related pain, stiffness and physical limitations improved over six months.
  • Improved quality of life: The group’s average knee-related quality-of-life score increased by approximately 35 points.
  • Preliminary safety: No serious adverse events were reported during six months of follow-up.

Additional Scientific Findings Support Ultrasome™ Platform Development

Complementing the clinical observations, laboratory studies demonstrated significant reductions in biological markers associated with cartilage degradation and inflammatory signaling. Product characterization and functional potency testing also provided encouraging findings supporting further evaluation of manufacturing quality controls and product consistency.

The Company anticipates that the full scientific findings, including detailed potency analyses, statistical evaluations, tables and figures, will be included in a manuscript planned for peer-reviewed publication.

A Scalable Cell-Free Regenerative Medicine Opportunity

Ultrasome™ builds upon Creative Medical’s regenerative medicine technology platform associated with CELZ-201 (Olastrocel), using extracellular-vesicle-rich secretome material in an investigational cell-free therapeutic approach. The Company believes this strategy may offer potential future advantages in manufacturing, distribution and development across osteoarthritis and other degenerative conditions.

“These findings represent an encouraging milestone for Ultrasome,” said Timothy Warbington, President and Chief Executive Officer of Creative Medical Technology Holdings. “With 93% of patients meeting study-defined response criteria and an approximately 65% reduction in the group’s average pain score, we believe the results strengthen the rationale for further development. The additional potency findings reinforce our focus on a scalable, biologically active regenerative medicine platform with significant long-term opportunity.”

The 30-patient study was an open-label, single-arm pilot without a randomized or sham-controlled comparator.

About Ultrasome™

Ultrasome™ is Creative Medical’s investigational cell-free regenerative medicine platform utilizing extracellular-vesicle-rich secretome material. Ultrasome™ is not FDA-approved for knee osteoarthritis or other indications.
