“Net interest margin was stable compared with the prior quarter, as higher asset yields were offset by an increase in funding costs. Compared to a year ago, margin was down seven basis points, with lower funding costs only partially offsetting the decline in asset yields. We continue to manage deposit pricing with discipline as we navigate margin performance in the current rate environment,” said Brant Ward, President.

NIM remained consistent in the third quarter compared to the second quarter of 2026 at 3.59% and decreased seven basis points from 3.66% in the third quarter of 2025. For the first nine months of 2026, NIM was 3.56% which was up two basis points compared to the first nine months of 2025.

Net interest income increased 3.5% to $14.3 million in the third quarter of 2026, compared to $13.8 million in the second quarter of 2026, and increased 11.9% compared to $12.8 million in the third quarter of 2025. Total interest income increased 4.5% to $25.1 million in the third quarter of 2026, compared to $24.0 million in the second quarter of 2026, primarily attributable to modest increases in loans and investment securities, and increased 10.7% compared to $22.7 million in the third quarter a year ago. Total interest expense increased to $10.8 million in the third quarter of 2026, from $10.2 million in the second quarter of 2026, and $9.9 million in the third quarter a year ago. The increase in interest expense was largely due to higher deposit costs compared to both the prior quarter and the year-ago quarter. In the first nine months of 2026, net interest income increased 16.5% to $41.2 million, compared to $35.3 million in the first nine months of 2025.

Noninterest income was $2.5 million in the third quarter of 2026, nearly unchanged compared to the second quarter of 2026, and increased 13.5% compared to $2.2 million in the third quarter of 2025. Year-to-date, noninterest income increased 16.2% to $7.2 million, compared to $6.2 million in the same period a year earlier, with higher wealth management fee income largely contributing to the increase.

Noninterest expense was $10.1 million in the third quarter of 2026, compared to $10.2 million in the second quarter of 2026 and $10.0 million in the third quarter of 2025. Higher salaries and benefits expense contributed to the increase compared to the year ago quarter. Nonperforming loans represented 0.03% of total loans at September 30, 2026, compared to 0.04% at June 30, 2026, and 0.03% of total loans a year ago.

“Credit quality held up well this quarter, a result of our consistent underwriting standards and the resilience of the communities we serve. TORONTO, Oct. 20, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Quadravest Capital Management Inc. (the “Manager”) is pleased to declare a monthly distribution for Quadravest Preferred Split Share ETF (“Preferred ETF”) as follows:

  Amount Per Unit:
Record Date:
Payment Date:
$0.05833 CAD
October 30, 2026
November 10, 2026

The monthly distribution per unit represents a total of $0.70 annualized based on the initial issue price of $10.00.

The investment objectives of Preferred ETF are to provide unitholders with: (a) monthly distributions and (b) the opportunity for capital preservation, primarily through a portfolio of preferred shares of split share corporations.

Preferred ETF will seek to achieve its investment objectives by investing in an actively managed portfolio of split corp. preferred shares offered by Canadian split share corporations listed on a Canadian exchange. The Preferred ETF may also invest in preferred shares of other issuers, exchange-traded funds, other investment funds, equities or income-generating securities, and securities that are convertible into any of the above noted securities provided such investments are consistent with the Preferred ETF’s investment objectives.

Monthly distributions are targeted and will be set at the Manager’s sole discretion and may be changed or vary in subsequent periods, as announced by the Manager. If the total return on the portfolio of the Preferred ETF is less than the amount necessary to fund the monthly distributions and all expenses of the Preferred ETF, this will result in a portion of the distributions paid to unitholders being a return of the capital to unitholders and a decrease in NAV per unit.

The Manager has assigned Preferred ETF a risk rating of “low”.

For further details, please refer to Preferred ETF’s Facts document available on www.sedarplus.com or on Preferred ETF’s home page at www.quadravest.com.

Founded in 1997, the Manager has a successful track record of creating and managing investment products with over $5 billion in assets under management and proudly manages a portfolio of 13 publicly traded investment products including split share corporations and an investment trust.

Geneva, Switzerland, Oct. 20, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) —

Company to highlight investments in U.S. quantum innovation and collaborations with MIT Media Lab, Lattice Semiconductor and GlobalFoundries

SEALSQ Corp (NASDAQ: LAES) (“SEALSQ” or “Company”), a company that focuses on developing and selling Semiconductors, PKI, and Post-Quantum technology hardware and software products, today announced that its CEO, Carlos Moreira will present an update on its U.S. strategy at IQT Quantum + AI 2026, taking place October 25–27, 2026, in New York City. The update will cover investments in U.S. quantum companies, semiconductor collaborations and engagement with leading research institutions.

Mr. Moreira will deliver the Main Conference Keynote “Securing the Quantum AI Era: From Silicon to Space,” on October 27 at 9:10 am ET. He will also join the Senior Executive Panel at 3:15 pm ET on the same day. The keynote will focus on SEALSQ’s Root-to-Qubit-to-Space approach: post-quantum secure chips with a hardware Root of Trust, post-quantum PKI and provisioning services, SEALQuantum’s investments in quantum computing and quantum photonic interconnects, and the Quantum Spatial Orbital Cloud developed with its sister company WISeSat.Space.

Event information and registration: https://iqtevent.com/quantumai/register/.

SEALSQ’s U.S. strategy connects quantum computing investment with the development of secure semiconductor technologies, trusted hardware and post-quantum cryptography. Through its SEALQuantum initiative, the Company aims to help build the technology foundations needed to protect digital infrastructure as quantum computing and artificial intelligence advance.

The quantum threat to today’s cryptography and the rise of AI-driven attacks both make trust a hardware question. “Post-quantum algorithms alone are not enough,” said Mr. Moreira. “Connected devices can be attacked directly at the chip, and AI is becoming a force multiplier for attackers. Security features are not the same thing as certified security. The answer is a certified hardware foundation, whether it’s a single secure element or a certified security chiplet bound to the main processor. Combined with its PKI and digital identity services, SEALSQ then extends that trust from the chip to the cloud.”

Drawing on his recent visit to EeroQ’s facilities, Mr. Moreira will highlight SEALSQ’s investment in EeroQ, the Chicago-based quantum computing company developing an electron-on-helium architecture. He will discuss how the investment supports SEALSQ’s U.S. quantum innovation and connects emerging computing platforms with expertise in secure silicon.

SEALSQ will also provide updates on three complementary relationships supporting its technology roadmap:

  • MIT Media Lab: interdisciplinary research and innovation. As a member of the MIT Media Lab’s global community of member organizations, SEALSQ engages with an interdisciplinary research environment exploring resilient technologies and the interaction between people and digital systems. This relationship supports the Company’s broader commitment to human-centered technological development.
  • Lattice Semiconductor: integrating programmable logic with post-quantum hardware security. The collaboration combines Lattice’s FPGA technology with SEALSQ’s QS7001 and QVault TPM technologies. The approach brings programmable processing together with a hardware root of trust and post-quantum cryptography, targeting applications requiring secure identity, trusted operation and protected communications.
  • GlobalFoundries: advancing secure silicon and quantum-enabling technologies. The strategic collaboration covers next-generation secure integrated circuits, post-quantum security intellectual property and chiplet hardware security modules, alongside the exploration of cryogenic CMOS technologies for quantum computing systems. These activities aim to connect SEALSQ’s security expertise with GlobalFoundries’ semiconductor manufacturing capabilities.

“Building a trusted quantum future requires investment across the entire technology chain, from emerging quantum architectures and research to secure chips and industrial manufacturing,” said Mr. Moreira. “Our investments in U.S. quantum innovation, together with our engagement with MIT Media Lab and our collaborations with Lattice Semiconductor and GlobalFoundries, bring complementary capabilities to this effort. At IQT Quantum + AI, we look forward to sharing our progress and our vision for embedding trust into the next generation of computing infrastructure.”

At IQT Quantum + AI, SEALSQ will also unveil its new brand identity. Building on the Company’s original identity, the new logo combines a secure chip, drawn in perspective, with the letter Q for quantum, and comes with the tagline “Quantum Security.” It reflects SEALSQ’s conviction that trust has to be issued in hardware, and its path from post-quantum security today to quantum computing tomorrow.

SEALSQ’s participation will also provide an opportunity to engage with researchers, technology companies and investors on the convergence of quantum computing, AI and cybersecurity, and on the practical steps required to transition toward quantum-resistant infrastructure.

About SEALSQ:
