NOT FOR DISTRIBUTION TO U.S. NEWSWIRE SERVICES OR DISSEMINATION IN THE UNITED STATES

CALGARY, Alberta, Oct. 20, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Condor Energies Inc. (“Condor” or the “Company”) (TSX: CDR) is pleased to announce that, in connection with its recently completed public offering (the “Offering”) of 12% unsecured convertible debentures of the Company (the “Convertible Debentures”) at a price of C$1,000 per Convertible Debenture, Condor has issued an additional C$488,000 principal amount of Convertible Debentures, following the exercise of the over-allotment option in full, resulting in an aggregate of C$28,750,000 in gross proceeds to Condor from the Offering. The Offering was co-led by Research Capital Corporation as co-lead agent and sole bookrunner, and together with Canaccord Genuity Corp. as co-lead agent (collectively, the “Agents”).

The Company raised a total of C$72,033,000 in aggregate gross proceeds from the Offering and the previously announced non-brokered private placement (the “Non-Brokered Private Placement”) on the same price, terms, and conditions as the Offering, except the Convertible Debentures issued under the Non-Brokered Private Placement are subject to a statutory hold period expiring on February 16, 2027.

Each Convertible Debenture has a principal value of C$1,000, is convertible into common shares of the Company (each a “Common Share”) at a conversion price of C$6.00 per Common Share (the “Conversion Price”) and matures on October 15, 2029 (the “Maturity Date”). Interest shall accrue on the Convertible Debentures at 12% per annum, payable quarterly in arrears, in cash. The Convertible Debentures will be repaid in cash on the Maturity Date. The Convertible Debentures are trading on the Toronto Stock Exchange (“TSX”) under the symbol CDR.DB.

The net proceeds from the Offering and the Non-Brokered Private Placement will be used to fund field compression facilities in Uzbekistan, modular LNG facilities in Kazakhstan, working capital and general corporate purposes.

  • Field Compression – Uzbekistan: Due to the strong results from the recent horizontal drilling program at Kumli, Condor is now producing more gas into a gathering system that was designed around lower-rate legacy wells. As production from the new high-rate horizontals increases, higher gathering and downstream pipeline pressures can back out production from the lower-pressure legacy wells. Condor is therefore installing field booster compression to lower gathering-system pressure, improve production reliability and help maintain output from the existing well base. Condor has awarded the contract for a 1,200 kW booster compressor, with engineering underway, an estimated cost of approximately US$25.3 million, and commissioning targeted for Q2 2027.
  • First LNG Facility – Saryozek, Kazakhstan: Condor is developing its first modular LNG facility at Saryozek, with Module 1 designed to produce approximately 48,000 gallons (80 MT) per day of LNG. Fabrication of the liquefaction unit has been completed, and the fully assembled unit is undergoing final pressure and acceptance testing ahead of shipment to Kazakhstan, with first LNG production still targeted for Q2 2027. Condor has secured 20 hectares at Saryozek through July 2059 and is finalizing LNG offtake arrangements, with potential end markets including rail locomotives, trucking, mining equipment and other diesel-intensive applications.

The Offering was completed by way of a prospectus supplement dated October 1, 2026 to the Company’s short form base shelf prospectus dated March 18, 2026, filed with the securities regulatory authorities in each of the provinces of Canada (except Québec). Copies of the base shelf prospectus and the prospectus supplement are available under the Company’s profile on SEDAR+ at www.sedarplus.ca.

DALLAS, Oct. 20, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Strive, Inc. (“Strive” or the “Company”) (Nasdaq: ASST), announced today the closing of its upsized initial public offering of 7,000,000 shares of Strive’s 15.00% Series A Perpetual SATS Preferred Stock (the “SATS Stock”), at a public offering price of $90 per share. The SATS Stock is expected to begin trading on the Nasdaq Global Market on or around October 20, 2026, under the ticker symbol “SATS.”

“The successful, upsized IPO of SATS marks a critical milestone in our strategy to maximize long-term total returns for our common equity investors,” said Matt Cole, Chairman and CEO of Strive. “We believe maintaining a high Amplification Ratio is the most important driver of our ability to outperform Bitcoin over time. SATS provides an additional tool to achieve that objective while simultaneously strengthening SATA’s credit profile by adding junior capital beneath it. With two complementary income securities, SATA designed for price stability and SATS designed for income stability, we believe Strive is better positioned than ever to capitalize on Bitcoin’s long-term growth.”

The SATS Stock accumulates cumulative dividends at a rate per annum equal to 15.00% on the stated amount of $100 per share (the “stated amount”) thereof. Regular dividends on the SATS Stock will be payable when, as and if declared by Strive’s board of directors or any duly authorized committee thereof, out of funds legally available for their payment, in arrears for each regular dividend period on each payment date to stockholders of record as of the close of business on the regular record date immediately preceding the applicable regular dividend payment date. Regular dividend dates will fall on each business day, as defined in the governing documentation for the SATS Stock, beginning on November 9, 2026. If declared in full, the first scheduled regular dividend on the SATS Stock payable will include all accrued and unpaid dividends from and after the closing date.

“We believe credit risk is easiest to manage when it is transparent,” said Jeff Walton, Chief Risk Officer. “SATS and SATA holders can observe the Bitcoin balance sheet that protects their dividend in real time, priced continuously, not just four times a year. As artificial intelligence and trading algorithms take on more portfolio-level decisions, we think our credit instruments are built for that future, interfacing with humans equipped with advanced compute. We don’t have any debt, or maturities, and we’re focused on a single obligation, the dividend. I believe that is what the best capital structure in the world looks like.”

“SATS represents the next evolution of our commitment to developing products tailored to the distinct needs of investors, introducing a fixed-rate perpetual security to our offerings,” said Ben Werkman, Chief Investment Officer. “By expanding our range of highly liquid securities, we are more precisely aligning each product with the objectives of the investors it serves. This approach reflects our broader vision of building a differentiated family of financial securities combining thoughtful structures, institutional-grade liquidity, and an unwavering commitment to long-term value creation.”

The offering was conducted pursuant to the Form S-3 registration statement, and was made only by means of a prospectus supplement and an accompanying prospectus. An electronic copy of the final prospectus supplement, together with the accompanying prospectus, is available on the SEC’s website at www.sec.gov.

  • Thirty patients per arm will be randomized to receive either: 1) pelareorep + FOLFIRI + bevacizumab, or 2) FOLFIRI + bevacizumab.
  • The primary endpoint is objective response rate (“ORR”). Secondary endpoints include other efficacy assessments, such as overall survival (“OS”), progression-free survival (“PFS”), disease control rate, duration of response (“DOR”), and safety and tolerability.
  • Blood and tumor samples are being collected for biomarker evaluations.

Recent U.S. Food and Drug Administration interactions have provided the opportunity to initiate a pivotal expansion of the REO 033 study (Part B) that would build upon the trial currently enrolling (Part A) and could support an accelerated approval submission based on ORR and a full approval based on PFS.

A previous study, REO 022, evaluated second-line KRAS-mutant, MSS mCRC patients with treatment histories similar to those of patients enrolled in the current study. In that study, the ORR, median PFS, median OS, and median DOR were more than doubled in patients treated with pelareorep + FOLFIRI/bevacizumab compared to historical outcomes for patients treated with FOLFIRI and bevacizumab alone.1-4

“I am thrilled to see the recent momentum in the REO 033 study among sites, physicians, and patients,” said Sanjay Goel, M.D., M.S., FASCO, Professor of Medicine at Rutgers Cancer Institute, and Lead Investigator. “Having been involved in the REO 022 study, I have a strong conviction that pelareorep can positively impact patients in a meaningful way, and this controlled randomized study will help prove that out.”

Jared Kelly, Chief Executive Officer of Oncolytics, commented, “Second-line mCRC development is generally stalling because emerging therapies are not working well, especially in RAS-mutant MSS patients. With mCRC growing faster than almost every cancer in the U.S. and only minimally effective options for second-line patients, pelareorep has the potential in this controlled study to change the standard of care by improving what has been in place for the better part of a decade. It’s a multi-billion-dollar market that is being largely ignored because nothing works better than the standard of care. Adding pelareorep to the standard of care could double the efficacy while maintaining an acceptable safety profile. This is what drug development is all about.”

About Pelareorep
Pelareorep is an intravenously delivered, systemically active, investigational immunotherapy with a dual mechanism of action that selectively replicates in tumor cells while activating both innate and adaptive anti-tumor immune responses, including the upregulation of key inflammatory cytokines resulting in the formation of tertiary lymphoid structures and the expansion of tumor-infiltrating lymphocytes. It has been administered to over 1,200 patients, and clinical studies have demonstrated pelareorep’s potential to enhance the activity of checkpoint inhibitors and other anti-cancer therapies across multiple solid tumor types.

About Oncolytics Biotech Inc.
Oncolytics is a clinical-stage biotechnology company developing pelareorep, an investigational intravenously delivered double-stranded RNA immunotherapeutic agent. Pelareorep has demonstrated encouraging results in multiple first-line pancreatic cancer studies, two randomized Phase 2 studies in metastatic breast cancer, and early-phase studies in anal and colorectal cancer. It is designed to induce anti-cancer immune responses by converting immunologically inactive tumors to active through the activation of innate and adaptive immune responses.

The Company is advancing pelareorep in combination with chemotherapy and/or checkpoint inhibitors in metastatic gastrointestinal cancers, where pelareorep has received Fast Track designation from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration for colorectal, anal, and pancreatic cancer. Oncolytics is actively pursuing strategic partnerships to accelerate development and maximize commercial impact. NeOnc’s November FDA Meeting and Abu Dhabi Treatment Developments Put Brain Cancer Research in the Spotlight

DENVER, Oct. 20, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — (247marketnews.com) — At an ugly-sweater party, the one with the most flair gets everyone talking. On Wall Street, attention can shift just as quickly when a battered chart meets a fresh set of corporate developments and an approaching regulatory milestone.

Enter NeOnc Technologies Holdings (NASDAQ:NTHI), a clinical-stage biotechnology company developing investigational treatments for central nervous system cancers. Its recent developments offer investors more than a chart to scrutinize: an upcoming FDA meeting for NEO212, expanded development and stimulus activity in Abu Dhabi, and an emotionally powerful compassionate-use update involving a critically ill child.

The human story is especially compelling. On October 16, NeOnc reported that treating physicians observed early improvement in a three-year-old boy with an aggressive brain tumor who received investigational NEO100 through the company’s Compassionate Care program in Abu Dhabi. According to the company, the child was breathing independently without ventilator support and beginning to move his legs after treatment began.

For his family, those developments represent meaningful moments of hope. For investors, they are a reason to pay attention, but also a reminder to separate an individual patient’s experience from established clinical evidence. Compassionate-use treatment is generally considered when a patient faces a serious condition and satisfactory alternatives are lacking. Providing access requires coordination and appropriate medical and regulatory oversight, but NeOnc explicitly cautioned that this single case does not establish that NEO100 caused the improvement or predict outcomes in other patients.

Meanwhile, a concrete regulatory catalyst is approaching. NeOnc scheduled a November 17, 2026, End-of-Phase 1 meeting with the FDA to discuss NEO212, including the proposed Phase 2 population, study design, endpoints, dose selection, and evidence needed to support a future marketing application. The company completed dose escalation and selected 610 mg as its recommended Phase 2 dose after a dose-limiting toxicity occurred at 810 mg. The FDA discussion could help clarify the next stage of development, although a scheduled meeting is not an endorsement of the drug, a finalized trial design, or a guarantee of approval.

There is more to the story than one meeting. In June, Abu Dhabi’s Department of Health granted investigational authorization for NeOnc’s NEO100 programs spanning adult development and a pediatric pathway subject to further protocol review. The company also reported in August that executives had invested approximately $629,000 in open-market stock purchases following positive Phase 2a results for NEO100.

So, before the Thanksgiving table is set, NTHI offers a story worth following: a challenging chart, an upcoming FDA discussion, and an investigational treatment program pursuing options for patients facing devastating brain cancers.

In biotechnology, catalysts can change the conversation and the evidence must ultimately do the talking.
