AMD has been named one of the 100 Best Corporate Citizens of 2026, ranking 25th among the largest U.S. public companies.
AMD rose 14 positions from No. 39 in 2025, reflecting continued progress in corporate responsibility transparency and performance. AMD also ranked seventh among information technology companies.
“We are proud to be recognized again among the 100 Best Corporate Citizens,” said Justin Murrill, chief sustainability officer at AMD. “Corporate responsibility is not the work of one team or one company. This progress reflects the work of people across AMD to set clear goals, measure progress and build responsible practices into how we operate. It also underscores the importance of collaborating with customers, partners and industry groups to address shared challenges and drive progress across our industry.”
The 100 Best Corporate Citizens is the longest-running sustainability ranking of Russell 1000 companies. Developed by 3BL in partnership with Institutional Shareholder Services, the ranking evaluates publicly available information on corporate transparency and performance. The 2026 methodology assesses companies across seven pillars covering climate change, employees, environment, stakeholders and society, human rights, governance and performance adjusters.
3BL’s financial impact study found that companies recognized among the 100 Best Corporate Citizens outperformed their peers financially, demonstrating a connection between corporate responsibility leadership, transparency and long-term business performance.
The recognition follows the publication of the AMD 2025-26 Corporate Responsibility Report, which details progress across environmental sustainability, digital impact, workforce, community impact, governance and supply chain responsibility.
