Partnership to Support Development and Qualification Efforts for Photonics Products

GOLETA, Calif., Sept. 15, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Aeluma, Inc. (NASDAQ: ALMU), a semiconductor company specializing in high-performance, scalable technologies for AI, mobile and consumer, defense and aerospace, and quantum, announced today it has executed an agreement with Sumitomo Chemical Advanced Technologies (SCAT) to accelerate development and production of photonics wafers for the AI datacom market. The agreement will initially leverage existing metalorganic chemical vapor deposition (MOCVD) capabilities at SCAT’s Phoenix, Arizona manufacturing facility, and provides a path for increasing capacity in the future.

Aeluma’s large-diameter non-indium-phosphide (non-InP) photonics platform combines best-in-class materials with mass-market microelectronics manufacturing. With InP substrates in short supply, and geopolitics adding risk and uncertainty, alternative approaches are being considered to meet the demand for high-performance photonics components such as photodetectors and lasers. Traditional InP manufacturing is carried out on 100mm substrates and smaller. While 150mm InP lines are being established, new fabs require time and resources to qualify, and InP substrates are expensive and in short supply.

Aeluma’s heterogeneous integration approaches leverage non-InP substrates such as 150mm gallium arsenide (GaAs) and 200 to 300mm silicon (Si) that are more readily available. In addition to the partnership with SCAT, Aeluma complements its in-house MOCVD capabilities by working with established large-volume GaAs and Si foundries for component fabrication, eliminating dependence on new fab buildouts and associated qualification timelines.

SCAT, a solely owned subsidiary of Sumitomo Chemical, produces epitaxial wafers at its facility in Phoenix, Arizona for the optical communications, smartphone, wireless, and automotive industries.

“SCAT is an ideal partner to pair with Aeluma’s in-house MOCVD that is capable of producing wafers of any size, including large-diameter 150, 200, and 300mm substrates,” said Jonathan Klamkin, Ph.D., Founder and CEO of Aeluma. “We have been working with SCAT for several years. This new agreement aims to strengthen our relationship and set the stage for accelerated development, qualification, production, and future potential expansion.”

“We look forward to continued partnership with Aeluma,” added Dr. Ken Campman, President & Executive Officer from SCAT. “The demand for epitaxial wafers for photodetectors and lasers has grown significantly, but InP substrate supply is limiting development and production efforts. Aeluma’s technology is a promising solution for the datacom market and may impact other markets as well.”

VANCOUVER, British Columbia, Sept. 15, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Yukon Metals Corp. (CSE: YMC, FSE: E770, OTCQB: YMMCF) (“Yukon Metals” or the “Company”) is pleased to report that a recently completed induced polarization (“IP”) geophysical survey at its 100%-owned Birch Project (“Birch” or the “Project”) has identified a new target zone approximately 2 kilometres south of known skarn mineralization.

Highlights

  • Multiple chargeability anomalies identified south of the Birch skarn expand the exploration footprint into a broader intrusive system.
  • The anomalies coincide with a mapped intrusive body and magnetic high and elevated molybdenum-in-soil geochemistry.
  • Select grab samples in the same area returned grades up to 16 grams per tonne (“g/t”) gold, 1,825 g/t silver, and 0.43% copper (News Release Dec 8, 20251).
  • One of the new IP targets was tested by diamond drilling during the 2026 program, with assays pending.

“The IP survey identified a large chargeability anomaly approximately two kilometres south of the skarn zone we had identified and drilled in 2025, and it is present on every principal line we have surveyed,” says Jim Coates, CEO of Yukon Metals. “The anomaly sits directly beneath the area where geochemistry, geology and magnetics had already directed our attention, and it was tested by drilling hole 12 this season. The IP data alongside completed surface geochemistry, geology and magnetic response provide multiple independent methods that help guide our efforts towards a potential system. We look forward to reporting additional data as we continue to evaluate and explore the Birch district.”

Southern Birch Target and IP Survey Results

Exploration at Birch initially focused on the near-surface skarn mineralization, which provided clear and accessible drill targets. As work progressed, geological mapping, geochemistry and geophysics have increasingly pointed to a broader intrusive-related mineralizing system extending beyond the known skarn.

Skarn mineralization commonly develops where hydrothermal fluids associated with intrusive systems react with favourable host rocks, particularly carbonate-rich units such as limestone and marble. As a result, skarn occurrences can provide an important vector toward the intrusive source of a mineralizing system, including porphyry-style or other intrusion-related systems. At Birch, the relationship between the known skarn mineralization and the broader intrusive footprint is therefore an important part of the evolving exploration model.

Approximately 2 kilometres south of the drilled skarn area, previous exploration identified a coincident combination of elevated molybdenum-in-soil geochemistry, anomalous gold-silver-copper surface samples, mapped intrusive rock and a magnetic high corresponding with a low potassium/thorium ratio zone in the radiometric data. Select rock samples collected in 2025 (News Release Dec 8, 2025) returned values of up to 16 g/t gold, 1,825 g/t silver and 0.43% copper from this broader southern target area.

The 2026 IP survey was designed to add subsurface information to this developing exploration model and to test for chargeable features beneath the intrusive target. A total of 12.7 line-kilometres of 2D IP surveying was completed at Birch across four principal north-south survey lines and an east-west tie line. The principal lines were spaced approximately 300 metres apart.

Induced polarization and electrical resistivity are measured together in the same survey by passing an electrical current through the ground and recording how the rock responds. Resistivity reflects how readily current flows through the rock, and can distinguish between rock types, alteration and structures; chargeability – the IP response – measures how briefly the ground holds an electrical charge after the current is switched off, a property that is generally elevated where disseminated sulphide minerals are present.

Granodiorite intrusions and marble/limestone act like electrical insulators that resist current flow and show up as high-resistivity bodies, while schist is lower resistivity. The sulfide-bearing zones, such as skarn with pyrrhotite and chalcopyrite, and porphyry potassic zones hold an electrical charge that creates chargeability anomalies. Because sulphides are commonly associated with the metals of interest in porphyry and skarn systems, chargeability anomalies are used to identify prospective zones for drilling.

The 2D inversion sections identified chargeability responses across the survey grid. At the north end of the grid a chargeability anomaly is observed across multiple survey lines (Figure 2); this target was tested by one drill hole during the 2026 program, with results pending. In the southern portion of the grid, a separate chargeability anomaly is present to varying degrees on all four principal survey lines at approximately 400 metres below surface. An increased chargeability response is also observed on the east-west tie line, although at lower amplitude than on the principal lines.

Figure 3: Birch Project 2D chargeability inversion sections for IP Lines 1–4. Arrows highlight the northern chargeability anomaly across the four principal survey lines; a separate chargeability response is also observed in the southern portion of the grid.

The IP interpretation also notes that strong chargeability responses occur locally along the edge of resistive features. Aurora Geosciences Ltd. (“Aurora Geosciences”), which completed the Company’s Birch IP survey, noted that this relationship may warrant further investigation in a skarn-style geological setting where mineralization is commonly developed at the contact between intrusive rocks and reactive host rocks (Figure 3).

Together, the surface geochemistry, geology, magnetic response and new IP data provide multiple independent datasets for evaluating the broader mineralizing system south of the known skarn. One of the identified IP targets was tested during the 2026 drill program, with results pending (Figure 1).

IP Survey Methodology

The Birch IP survey was completed by Aurora Geosciences in June 2026. The survey comprised 12.7 line-kilometres using an in-line proximal pole-dipole configuration. Four north-south principal lines were completed at approximately 300-metre spacing, together with an east-west tie line. Nominal dipole spacing was 100 metres, with nominal current injection spacing of 50 metres.

The survey utilized IRIS V-Fullwaver receivers and a GDD TX IV 5.0 kW IP transmitter. Data was collected in the time domain using a 0.125 Hz reversing-polarity waveform and 20 chargeability windows following a 40-millisecond delay.

The survey configuration was designed to provide investigation depths of up to approximately 1,200 metres on the principal lines and 750 metres on the tie line, although effective investigation depth varies depending on subsurface electrical properties and data quality. Data quality at Birch was generally good. Of approximately 3,300 measurements, about 3% of resistivity readings and 7% of chargeability readings were removed during quality-control processing due to poor decay curves, elevated error values or unreasonable results. Line 3 contained a higher proportion of rejected chargeability measurements than the other lines and has been interpreted with consideration of observations from neighbouring lines and the tie line.

Next Steps

Yukon Metals is continuing to integrate the Birch IP results with geological mapping, soil and rock geochemistry, magnetic data and drilling. Follow-up mapping and prospecting in August 2026 refined the southern intrusive contact and identified molybdenite and local copper-bearing mineralization within the granodiorite, with alteration and veining increasing slightly along its northern contact. Garnet-pyroxene skarn boulders were also identified near the intrusive contact, supporting continued evaluation of the area for skarn-style mineralization. Pending assay and hyperspectral results from this work will be incorporated with the geophysical data to refine priority areas for further mapping, sampling, IP and future drill targeting.

About the Birch Project

Birch is a 7,000-hectare copper-gold exploration property located in western Yukon, approximately 65 kilometres northeast of Burwash Landing. The 100%-owned, helicopter-accessed property represents an emerging copper-gold exploration opportunity within Yukon Metals’ broader Yukon portfolio, with multiple target areas identified across the Project. Exploration to date has outlined skarn-style copper-gold mineralization, while geological, geochemical, and geophysical work suggests the potential for additional epithermal and porphyry-style mineralized systems.

Building on the 2025 program, which included 1,685 metres of HQ diamond drilling in 6 holes and established a broad copper-gold skarn footprint at Birch, Yukon Metals’ 2026 exploration program included approximately 2,600 metres of additional diamond drilling, 12.7 line-kilometres of IP surveying, and follow-up geological mapping and rock sampling across priority target areas.

Maiden drill program advancing at the historic Kuhn tungsten system, with drilling encountering broad skarn intervals

VANCOUVER, British Columbia, Sept. 15, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — GoldHaven Resources Corp. (“GoldHaven” or the “Company”) (CSE: GOH) (OTCQB: GHVNF) (FSE: 4QS) is pleased to provide an update on its ongoing maiden diamond drill program at the 100%-owned Magno Project, located in the Cassiar District of northern British Columbia.

  • Over 800 metres drilled from the first drill pad at the historic Kuhn tungsten system, with drilling continuing across multiple planned drill fences.
  • Initial drilling encountered an approximately 20-metre interval of skarn, where historical interpretation had mapped two separate narrower skarn bands.
  • Historic drilling at Kuhn returned strong tungsten intercepts, including 13.0 m grading 0.55% WO₃ and 11.3 m grading 0.59% WO₃ + 0.10% MoS₂.*
  • Historical work outlined approximately 616,500 tonnes grading 0.48% WO₃ across four modeled lenses at the Kuhn–Dead Goat system.*
  • Current drilling is targeting the geometry and continuity of the tungsten-bearing skarn, while testing potential extensions beyond historically drilled areas.

Historical results and estimates pre-date NI 43-101 and are subject to the applicable cautionary language provided in this release.

Diamond drilling commenced in late August at the historic Kuhn tungsten skarn system, with over 800 metres of drilling completed to date in four (4) drill holes from the first drill pad (Pad A). The initial phase of drilling is designed to test the geometry, continuity and potential extensions of the historically identified tungsten-bearing skarn mineralization while providing the first modern drill data.

Drilling in the first three drill holes has encountered broad intervals of skarn alteration and sulphide mineralization within the top 100m, including an approximately 20-metre interval of skarn in the second drill hole. This interval is particularly notable because the historical geological interpretation at this site was mapped as two separate skarn bands, whereas initial observations from the current drilling suggest the possibility of a broader, more continuous skarn package. The fourth drill hole (GOH26-04) has confirmed a never before explored down-dip extension of the skarn unit.

Visually, the geology encountered in the first drill holes appears to match the lithological descriptions described in the historical drill logs and reports. Further, analysis with a portable XRF indicates the presence of tungsten within the skarn intersections.

Rob Birmingham, CEO of GoldHaven, commented:

“The first phase of drilling at Magno is doing exactly what we wanted it to do – giving us a modern look at a historically important tungsten system that has seen very limited exploration for decades. We are encouraged by the scale of the skarn alteration encountered in the early holes, particularly where drilling appears to show a broader package than suggested by the historical interpretation. With drilling continuing, our priority is to systematically test Kuhn and build the geological framework needed to determine the scale and continuity of the system.”

Kuhn Drilling Update

The current drilling is focused on systematically testing the historic Kuhn tungsten system through a series of drill fences designed to provide greater geological control across the mineralized trend.

The four initial drill holes from Pad A are designed to test the system at greater depth and evaluate potential extensions. Following completion of the first pad, the drill is planned to advance to a second drill pad along strike where approximately three to four additional holes are planned.

The Company’s objective during this phase is to establish multiple modern drill sections across Kuhn, providing significantly improved information on the geometry, thickness and continuity of the skarn system and allowing direct comparison with historical drilling.

Drilling remains ongoing at Kuhn, with results from the current program being integrated with historical drilling, surface geology and modern geophysical data to guide subsequent drill targeting. Results from the current program, together with historical drilling, surface geology and modern geophysical data, will be used to determine whether additional drilling is warranted at Kuhn before the program advances to other priority targets within the Magno property.

Historic Kuhn Tungsten System

The Kuhn–Dead Goat area hosts a series of historically defined tungsten-bearing skarn lenses. Historical work outlined an estimate of approximately 616,500 tonnes grading 0.48% WO₃ across four modeled lenses.

Historical drilling at Kuhn included reported intersections of:

  • 13.0 metres grading 0.55% WO₃
  • 11.3 metres grading 0.59% WO₃ and 0.10% MoS₂
  • 4.0 metres grading 1.32% WO₃ and 0.26% MoS₂

The historical estimate and drill results pre-date NI 43-101 and should not be considered a current mineral resource or mineral reserve. A Qualified Person has not completed sufficient work to

classify the historical estimate as a current mineral resource, and GoldHaven is not treating the historical estimate as a current mineral resource.

The current program represents an important step toward establishing modern geological and analytical data across the Kuhn system and evaluating the continuity and potential extensions of the historically identified tungsten mineralization.

Broader Magno Drill Program

Kuhn represents the first phase of a broader drill campaign across the district-scale 37,000+ hectare Magno Project.

Following the initial Kuhn program, GoldHaven intends to evaluate additional high-priority drill targets, including the D Zone and broader Magno target area, where historical exploration and recent surface work have identified significant silver, lead, zinc, gold and copper mineralization.

Drill targeting across Magno is being supported by the integration of historical drilling and underground workings, surface mapping and geochemistry, and GoldHaven’s recently completed 2,320.7 line-kilometre airborne magnetic and QMAGT survey. The Company continues to integrate these datasets as drilling progresses and new geological information becomes available.

The 2026 program is being completed by Northtech Drilling and represents the first modern, systematic drill campaign undertaken by GoldHaven at Magno.

Next Steps

Drilling remains ongoing at Kuhn, with the immediate program focused on completing the planned drill fences and evaluating the continuity of the skarn system. Core is being logged, sampled and submitted for laboratory analysis, with assay results to be released as they are received, reviewed and verified.

The Company will use the geological observations and analytical results from the initial Kuhn drilling to refine subsequent drill targeting both at Kuhn and across the broader Magno Project.

Presenter: Wildon Farwell, MD, Satellos Chief Medical Officer

The Satellos posters will be available in the Presentations and Publications section of the Satellos website.

ABOUT FORAZAPADIN
Forazapadin is a proprietary, oral, small molecule drug candidate being developed by Satellos as a novel approach to regenerating skeletal muscle lost in Duchenne muscular dystrophy (DMD) and other degenerative muscle diseases or injury conditions. Forazapadin targets AAK1, a key protein identified by Satellos as capable of helping restore the body’s natural muscle repair and regeneration biology, a fundamental process that is disrupted in DMD and other degenerative conditions. By inhibiting AAK1 forazapadin treatment aims to re-establish a biochemical signal needed to support muscle regeneration. Satellos is advancing forazapadin as a potential treatment for DMD that is independent of dystrophin and applicable regardless of exon mutation status as either a stand-alone or adjunctive therapy, with ongoing Phase 2 clinical studies including BASECAMP, a global, randomized, placebo-controlled study in pediatric participants, and TRAILHEAD, an open-label study in adult participants.

The Company previously referred to the program as SAT-3247 and expects to transition to broader use of the INN in future scientific, regulatory and corporate communications

Highlights:

  • Two drill rigs mobilized for the inaugural drilling campaign at the newly discovered Nguni Prospect, a high-grade gold-in-soil anomaly with a strike length in excess of 6km.
  • One diamond drill rig will focus on the highest-grade portions of the soil anomaly with an initial drill plan comprising 18 holes for 3,500m.
  • A second reverse circulation drill rig will focus on testing the strike extension of the soil anomaly with 13 holes planned for 1,500m.
  • A step-out diamond drill program comprising 5 holes for 1,000m has been finalised to test the eastern extension of the Manga Gold Prospect, a promising gold-in-soil and gold-in-bedrock anomaly located 17km west of Nguni.

VANCOUVER, British Columbia, Sept. 15, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Ongwe Minerals Inc. (TSXV: OGW) (NSX:ONG) (“Ongwe” or “the Company”) is pleased to announce the commencement of drilling at its newly discovered Nguni gold prospect, situated 17 km east of the Manga Gold discovery, at the Omatjete Gold Project.

Nguni is a large, high-grade, gold-in-soil anomaly discovered by Ongwe in May 2026 during a regional soil sampling program. The sampling program targeted the regionally significant Okondeka Fault Zone (OFZ), which hosts both WIA Gold’s Kokoseb Gold Deposit and Ongwe’s Manga Gold Discovery – see Figure 1. Situated 55 km east of Kokoseb and 17 km east of Manga, Nguni is being rapidly advanced through detailed surface work and drilling, with the aim of converting the target into a large-scale economic discovery.

Dave Underwood, Ongwe’s CEO commented: “The central portion of the Nguni gold anomaly has now been closely defined by infill soil sampling, with 50 soil samples above 300ppb Au, peaking at 1,310ppb Au. This represents a 6km long, high-grade soil anomaly similar in scale and tenor to the anomaly at the neighbouring Kokoseb gold deposit, before it was drilled. We are now embarking on the maiden, fully funded drill program at this exciting target. A diamond drill rig has been mobilized to test the highest-grade portion of the anomaly so that we can collect detailed geological, structural and mineralogical information upfront, in order to better guide the follow-on drill program. The lower grade (central) portions of the anomaly will be scout drilled using an RC rig, which provides a quick and relatively cheap method of establishing grade potential and allows for ranking of targets.

We are also planning a diamond step-out drill program at Manga over the highest grade and width portion of the bedrock anomaly defined earlier in the year. The priority bedrock anomaly starts east of the previous RC drilling at Manga, stretches for at least a 1000m and is still open to the east”.

The image highlights the primary structural control of the Okondeka Fault Zone and the scale of initial gold-in-soil results across the three discoveries.

Nguni Prospect

The Nguni gold anomaly was discovered by Ongwe during regional soil sampling along the Okondeka Fault System in May 2026. The initial regional sampling was carried out on a 200 x 200m square grid and later infilled to 50 x 50m spacing over the anomalous areas. The Nguni area is flat lying and there is very little outcrop visible. The gold anomaly lies along narrow zones of metasediments between late to post orogenic granites and appears to be in-situ within residual soils.

The Nguni anomaly extends over 6 km of strike and includes targets with varying orientations, width and intensity. A two-pronged drill program has been planned as follows:

  • A diamond drill program of approximately 18 holes for 3,500m initially, starting in the northwest corner of the anomaly and covering the higher-grade soils in the northwestern and southeastern portions.
  • A scout drill program of approximately 1,500m using an RC rig. This program is aimed at first pass testing of the lower priority targets to establish economic potential and priority.
  • Either or both programs will be expanded or modified as indicated by the logging and assay results.

Geological mapping of the limited outcrop indicates that the targeted metasedimentary units predominantly dip toward the south-southeast and the initial holes will therefore be drilled toward the north, except for one RC line positioned on the nose of the fold closure. Detailed logging of the initial core will be used to refine the drill parameters. See Figure 2.

Manga Prospect

The Manga prospect was discovered during the initial regional Omatjete soil sampling program carried out in Q4 2024. The 200 x 200m regional soil grid outlined an arsenic and gold anomaly approximately 4.5km long and 1km wide at the widest point. Infill sampling to 100 x 25m tightened up the surface anomaly and provided follow-up targets. The soil sampling was followed up with two trenches and eleven RC scout holes. Ten of the eleven RC holes returned anomalous gold values, several with wide low-grade intercepts including 138m @ 0.22g/t Au in hole MRC006. As the Manga area is covered by calcrete and alluvial sediment cover, a decision was taken in early 2026 to drill vertical holes through the calcrete cover and sample the top of bedrock beneath. This exploration technique was pioneered by Osino Resources at Twin Hills and has proved effective in defining mineralised footprints in hard rock below calcrete cover. The results from this program indicate that the Manga prospect becomes wider and higher grade towards the east and it is now clear that the calcrete cover gets thicker towards the east, masking the gold mineralization in the bedrock beneath.

Manga Drilling

A diamond drilling program of 5 holes for 1,000 m is planned for the Manga east extension, with an average planned depth of 200 m. The initial holes will be oriented and drilled toward the northwest, but drill parameters may be modified by the detailed logging.

The Company also plans to undertake a calcrete sampling program to trace gold mineralization beneath the calcrete cover east of the current bedrock sampling extent. If the calcrete results confirm that the mineralized trend continues, the Company will use follow-up bedrock sampling to refine the target before testing it with diamond drilling.

Assay Method

During the soil sampling programs, the Company initially utilized the detectORE™ analytical technique, designed to enable the measurement of trace gold concentrations in geological samples using a portable X-Ray Fluorescence (pXRF) instrument. This process overcomes the traditional limitations of gold analysis by pXRF including low gold concentrations and metal peak interference. The method involves leaching 250g of sieved material in a sealed pouch with 500ml of GLIX-20™ lixiviant and a Collector Device (CD). Following a 16-hour tumble in a Maxi Mixer barrel to dissolve the gold, the CD is removed, rinsed, and analyzed for 150 seconds using detectORE™ mode firmware. This partial analysis technique is managed through pLIMS™ software with strict QA/QC protocols to identify relative gold anomalism. An extensive orientation program was carried out before putting the detectORE™ methodology into production by comparing soil, calcrete and rock chip sample assays with Aqua Regia and FireICP. The detectORE™ system performed extremely well and identified the same anomalies as the laboratory techniques in all conditions. The detectORE™ gold technique is designed for rapid on-site assessment and is not used for the formal quantification of gold content or the estimation of Mineral Resources.

As part of the current exploration program, all soil samples undergo initial multi-element analysis utilizing the Company’s in-house pXRF. All trace element anomalies, including base metal and arsenic anomalies are then analyzed through the Company’s detectORE™ system. Any area returning a value equal to or greater than 10 detectable Units (dU) are prioritized for follow-up soil sampling. All follow-up soil samples are analyzed via Fire Assay at the MSALAB facility in Omaruru, Namibia. The fire assay procedure starts by drying the <212u and +-250g soil sample. The sample is then pulverized to 85% passing 75 microns, from which a final 50g aliquot is taken for fire assay with an Atomic Absorption (AA) finish.

QA/QC

All of Ongwe’s sample assay results have been independently monitored through a quality assurance and quality control (“QA/QC”) program including the insertion of blind standards, blanks, and field duplicate samples. The Company maintains rigorous monitoring for both in-house and laboratory analyses to ensure data reliability. For the detectORE™ process, which provides rapid on-site assessment of gold anomalism, a Certified Reference Material (CRM) sample is inserted every 15 samples to monitor the performance of the pXRF instrument and the leaching efficiency. For the formal fire assay verification conducted at MSALABS, a CRM is inserted every 30 samples. This laboratory procedure involves precise pulverization and a 50g fire assay with an Atomic Absorption (AA) finish to provide formal quantification for prioritized bedrock samples.

About Ongwe Minerals Inc.

Ongwe Minerals Inc. is a Canadian listed gold exploration company focused on the discovery and advancement of new gold systems in Namibia. The Ongwe team, previously with Osino Resources (sold to Shanjin International), has a history of making and advancing gold discoveries in Namibia, including Osino’s Twin Hills (currently in construction) and Eureka deposits, and the advancement and sale of Auryx Gold’s Otjikoto gold deposit (in production, sold to B2Gold).

The Company’s current focus is on three promising gold projects in the emerging Northwest Damara gold belt in Namibia, with a focus on the Omatjete and Khorixas Gold Projects.

The Omatjete Gold Project is strategically located along the regional Okondeka Fault Zone, which also hosts the Kokoseb gold deposit (WIA Gold). Early surface work by Ongwe led to the discovery of the Manga Gold Prospect which has a 4.5km x 1km footprint of gold in soil and early scout drilling indicating gold in bedrock. Recent regional sampling in 2026 has led to the discovery of the large scale, high tenor Nguni anomaly 17km east of Manga. Nguni currently has a strike length of 6km and is open to the west, north and east. The Omatjete Project still has significant growth potential and work is ongoing to define further anomalies along the Okondeka Fault system.

The Khorixas Gold Project is situated just 60km west of Osino’s Eureka gold project, adjacent to the northern margin of the Damara Orogenic Belt. Khorixas hosts two large-scale surface discoveries called Belmont and K17. The Belmont prospect has a surface gold footprint of approximately 12 × 6km and lies between the regional scale, basin margin, Khorixas Fault and the Belmont Thrust Zone. Calcrete and grab sampling to date have indicated eighteen target areas.

Agreement geared towards potential orders of up to 1 tonne of titanium powder per month

MONTREAL, Sept. 15, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — PyroGenesis Inc. (“PyroGenesis” or the “Company”) (TSX: PYR) (OTCQX: PYRGF) (FRA: 8PY1), a leader in ultra-high temperature processes and engineering innovation, and a plasma-based technology provider to heavy industry & defense, today announces its first contract toward a new titanium powder supply agreement with a U.S.-based materials distributor (the “Client”). The powder for this order has been produced by PyroGenesis’ NexGen™ plasma atomization process and is to be shipped this week. The Client’s identity and contract details will remain confidential for competitive reasons.

As disclosed in the Outlook section of the Company’s Q2 2026 earnings release, dated August 6, 2026, the Company has been in discussion with several companies regarding titanium powder orders, including a US-based materials distributor for a monthly supply agreement of up to 500 kg. Today’s contract represents the first commercial order arising from those discussions. The Client has since indicated that its potential monthly requirements could reach 1,000 kg (1 tonne); however, no commitment for recurring orders at that volume has been made.

The order is for Ti64 “fine” cut powder, with a particle size range of 20-80µm (microns). This powder is typically used in laser powder bed fusion (LPBF), an additive manufacturing technology widely used to produce complex, high-density components for aerospace, healthcare, and automotive industries. The Client supplies U.S. customers in the aerospace, defense, energy, and broader advanced manufacturing sectors.

“The contract announced today directly supports the strategic goals outlined in our April 29, 2026, press release: positioning the Additive Manufacturing Division for its next level of growth, with operations anticipated to be several times larger than those currently in place,” said Mr. P. Peter Pascali, President and CEO of PyroGenesis. “This relationship with a well-connected materials distributor serving both the aerospace and defense sectors will help us expand our customer base in these two key industries that we have identified as central to achieving those strategic goals.”

PyroGenesis is the inventor of the plasma atomization process and in fact coined the term “plasma atomization” in its original patent. Plasma atomization is often considered the gold standard process for the production of metal powder for additive manufacturing, also referred to as metal 3D printing.

After years of R&D, PyroGenesis redesigned its plasma atomization technology and launched NexGen™ to re-enter the powder production market by targeting higher quality and yields, at lower operating costs. The Company has since taken a deliberate approach to commercialization, progressing from gram-scale customer samples to 100-kg orders, and its first tonne-scale order in May 2023.

PyroGenesis produces titanium powders in particle size distribution ranges across three “cuts”:

  • Fine Cut, in particle sizes between 15–63 µm for use in laser powder bed fusion (LPBF).
  • Coarse Cut, in particle sizes between 45–106 µm for use in electron beam melting (EBM) and 45–150 µm in directed energy deposition (DED).
  • Off-Cuts, in particle sizes not currently used by the existing range of commercial printers, but which offers a high-quality feedstock for use in the production of high-quality metal alloys.

INDUSTRY AND MARKET CONTEXT

  • The global 3D printing market specific to titanium powder is expected to increase from $214 million in 2023 to $1.4 billion by 2032.1
  • Titanium is classified as a critical mineral by both Canada2 and the U.S.3
  • Titanium is used by multiple industries, including space, aerospace, defense, consumer electronics, medical, hydrogen, and electric vehicles, due to its high strength-to-weight ratio and corrosion resistance.

VANCOUVER, British Columbia, Sept. 15, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Christina Lake Cannabis Corp. (the “Company” or “CLC” or “Christina Lake Cannabis”) (CSE: CLC) (OTCQB: CLCFF) (FRANKFURT: CLB) announces that it has received an unsolicited offer from an arm’s length third party for a proposed transaction for the sale of substantially all of the assets of CLC. The proposed transaction involves a different potential buyer and is not related to the proposed transaction announced by CLC on August 21, 2026. CLC has entered into a non-binding letter of intent in respect of the second offer.

The Special Committee of the Board of Directors (the “Special Committee“) formed in August 2026 will review the merits of the proposed transaction. The Special Committee is also continuing to review the merits of the original transaction proposal announced on August 21, 2026.   The Board of Directors of CLC has not approved the entering into of any definitive agreement for either transaction at this time. See “Special Committee” below.

Original Transaction

On August 21, 2026, CLC announced in a press release (the “August 21 Press Release“) that it had entered into a non-binding letter of intent (the “Initial LOI“) with a private Alberta corporation (the “Original Purchaser“), to engage in due diligence and negotiations regarding the terms of a proposed transaction (the “Original Transaction“) whereby the Original Purchaser would acquire all of the issued and outstanding common shares (the “Shares“) of the Company. The final structure of the Proposed Transaction has not been determined and, if the parties agree to proceed, will be set out in a definitive agreement between CLC and the Original Purchaser.

The Initial LOI contemplates an aggregate transaction value of $15,000,000 for 100% of the equity of the Company on a fully-diluted, cash-free, debt-free basis. The Initial LOI is non-binding and there can be no assurance that a definitive agreement for the Original Transaction will be entered into or that the Original Transaction contemplated by the Initial LOI, or any other transaction, will be completed.

Alternative Transaction

Subsequent to the execution of the Initial LOI and the issuance of the August 21 Press Release, the Company received an unsolicited offer from Medical Saints Ltd. an arm’s length third party (the “Alternative Purchaser“) for the sale of substantially all of the assets of CLC (the “Alternative Transaction“). In connection with the fiduciary obligations of the Board and the Special Committee, and as permitted by the exclusivity provisions of the Initial LOI, the Company entered into a non-binding letter of intent with the Alternative Purchaser effective September 11, 2026 for an Alternative Transaction (the “Second LOI”). No definitive agreement has been entered into in respect of the Original Transaction or the Alternative Transaction. “We are extremely pleased to move forward with the acquisition of the Christina Lake Cannabis assets. The scale of the cultivation platform is significant, but what makes this transaction particularly strategic for Medical Saints is the extraction infrastructure, processing capabilities, and expertise that Christina Lake has built. These assets complement our existing operations and materially expand what we can produce, process, and bring to market. Lucas Leone – Chief Executive Officer, Medical Saints Ltd.”

Unlike the Original Transaction, which contemplates an acquisition of the Shares, the Alternative Transaction contemplates the acquisition by the Alternative Purchaser of all of the assets of the Company (other than cash, cash equivalents, tax receivables and certain other assets to be agreed as excluded), free and clear of any encumbrances. The assets to be acquired would include all owned land and buildings and assigned commercial leases used in the business, all machinery, office equipment, computers, furniture and inventory, and all customer lists, proprietary data, historical records, trademarks, patents, copyrights and software.

The Second LOI provides for an aggregate purchase price of $18,000,000, on a cash-free, debt-free basis, payable in cash at closing and inclusive of a $2,000,000 advance payment on the purchase price (the “Advance”). The Advance would be delivered to the Company’s counsel, for the benefit of the Company, concurrently with the execution of a definitive agreement and would be credited against the purchase price at closing. In certain circumstances in which the transaction does not close as a result of the Alternative Purchaser’s failure to fund or a material breach by the Alternative Purchaser, the Advance would be retained by the Company as liquidated damages; in other circumstances, including a failure to close not caused by the Alternative Purchaser or a breach by the Company, the Advance would be repaid to the Alternative Purchaser.

Under the Second LOI, the parties would negotiate and enter into a definitive agreement for the Alternative Transaction within 40 days of executing the Second LOI, and would use reasonable commercial efforts to work towards a closing following the satisfaction or waiver of the applicable closing conditions. The Second LOI provides for an exclusivity period of 40 days, which is expressly subject at all times to the fiduciary duties of the Board, including its ability to consider, negotiate or respond to unsolicited bona fide proposals, and which is expressly subordinate to the Company’s existing contractual obligations to third parties, including its obligations under the Initial LOI.

Completion of the Alternative Transaction would be subject to a number of conditions, including the release and discharge of any encumbrances, negotiation and execution of a mutually agreed definitive agreement, receipt of all required regulatory, stock exchange, corporate and shareholder approvals, confirmation that no material adverse change has occurred, and the entering into of mutually agreed employment, consulting and/or transition services arrangements. The Alternative Purchaser is expected to offer employment to all of the Company’s employees engaged in the business on substantially comparable terms, with any related severance, termination or similar liabilities to be for the account of the Alternative Purchaser.

Term

The Second LOI will terminate in the following circumstances: (a) by written agreement of the parties; (b) upon the execution of a definitive agreement between CLC and the Alternative Purchaser; or (c) at the end of the exclusivity period (or any extension thereof).

Special Committee

A Special Committee of the Board (the “Special Committee“) was formed in August 2026 as described in the August 21 Press Release. The Special Committee’s role is to consider, evaluate and, if applicable, negotiate the strategic alternatives available to the Company, including the Original Transaction and the Alternative Transaction, and to make recommendations to the Board in connection therewith, including prior to the execution of any definitive agreement or the submission of any such transaction to the shareholders of the Company for a vote.   The Board of Directors of CLC has not approved the entering into of any definitive agreement for either transaction at this time.

Second LOI Non-Binding

The Second LOI is non-binding and does not create any binding legal rights or obligations, other than certain customary provisions – namely those relating to Legal Effect, Exclusivity, Termination, Confidentiality, Public Disclosure and General Provisions – which are binding upon execution. The Second LOI is governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario. As negotiations are ongoing, the Company can provide no assurance that it will agree on the final terms of, or execute, a definitive agreement with the Alternative Purchaser, or that the Alternative Transaction will be completed. Any such transaction would be subject to, among other conditions, the negotiation and execution of a definitive agreement and the receipt of all required shareholder, regulatory, stock exchange and other approvals.

If a definitive agreement with the Alternative Purchaser is executed, the Company expects that it will be required to hold a special meeting (the “Special Meeting“) of the Company’s shareholders to approve the Alternative Transaction. The Alternative Transaction is subject to receipt of the foregoing approvals and other customary closing conditions. Terms and conditions of the Alternative Transaction are expected to be disclosed in greater detail in a management information circular for the Special Meeting (the “Circular“). Following execution of the definitive Agreement, a Circular will be mailed to the Company’s shareholders. There are no finder’s fees payable by the Company in connection with the Alternative Transaction.

In the event that the Company executes a definitive agreement with either the Original Purchaser or the Alternative Purchaser, copies of such definitive agreement and the information circular for the special meeting of the Company’s shareholders to approve such transaction will be filed with Canadian securities regulators. Documents filed by the Company with Canadian securities regulators are available on the SEDAR+ profile of the Company at www.sedarplus.ca. Shareholders are urged to read any relevant materials when they become available. However, Shareholders do not need to take any action with respect to the Original Transaction or the Alternative Transaction at this time.

Independent evaluation finds the regulated supply chain functioning positively and gaining preference with consumers

Company remains a committed community partner; sees opportunities for stronger consumer protections to create a model framework reflective of Dutch leadership and innovation

GRONINGEN, Netherlands, Sept. 15, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Village Farms International, Inc. (“Village Farms” or the “Company”) (NASDAQ: VFF) today welcomed the publication of the first-year findings from the Netherlands’ regulated cannabis program, and reaffirmed its long-term commitment to the program and to the Dutch communities in which it operates. Village Farms Netherlands participates in the program as one of ten producers licensed by the Dutch government to cultivate and distribute cannabis to participating coffeeshops.

The evaluation, conducted by the Trimbos Institute, RAND Europe and Breuer & Intraval on behalf of the Dutch government, assessed the first year of the program’s operational phase across the ten participating municipalities. It reported that stakeholders across the supply chain, including coffeeshops, growers, municipalities and regulators, described their early experiences as positive, and that product range widened, with consumers rating price-value more positively than before the experiment began. It recorded no clear difference in public health, livability or safety compared to non-participating municipalities.

Michael DeGiglio, President and Chief Executive Officer of Village Farms, commented, “What the Dutch government set out to do was a historic undertaking for regulated cannabis in Europe and it deserves considerable praise. Replacing a tolerated supply chain with a regulated one is not an easy task, but these first-year findings are an encouraging sign of early success. We’re invested here as long-term community partners, and our team remains committed to collaborating with local stakeholders to build a successful program that protects consumers and creates economic benefits for its local communities.”

Orville Bovenschen, President of Global Operations for Village Farms, oversees operations for the Company’s two Dutch facilities.

Bovenschen commented, “What we bring to the Netherlands goes well beyond cannabis. We draw on decades of experience in controlled environment agriculture and regulated markets, with expertise in process innovation and product quality, compliance and responsible operations. We’ve applied those lessons while working closely with our local municipalities to meet the requirements of this new regulated market, and we’ll continue sharing our experience and insight with Dutch policymakers and regulators to build a model framework reflective of Dutch leadership and innovation.”

Bovenschen added, “We’re encouraged by these positive initial results, and we believe now is an appropriate time for the government to begin talking about ways to create stronger protections for consumers and longer-term certainty for the program. We are supportive of revisions to packaging and labeling requirements to avoid consumer preferences shifting to high potency products, and also see benefits to further expansion of the program to combat the illicit market. Getting these conversations started will give growers, coffeeshops, and municipalities the confidence to plan and invest for a much larger, successful regulated market.”

About Village Farms International
