Angi is part of a select group of brands testing a new conversational advertising experience in ChatGPT

DENVER, Sept. 16, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Angi (formerly Angie’s List) (NASDAQ: ANGI), a leading digital home services marketplace, today announced it is participating in OpenAI’s Sponsored Agent pilot. The pilot supports Angi’s expansion into emerging AI-powered advertising surfaces, creating a new way to reach homeowners and connect them with skilled local pros.

In this pilot, an Angi-branded sponsored agent may appear in relevant ChatGPT conversations regarding home services. Homeowners will be able to continue the conversation with the Angi agent to share more information about their project and when the job calls for help from a pro, enter Angi’s service request flow to connect with skilled local pros.

“Our AI-first strategy is simple: make it easier for homeowners to connect with and hire the right pro for their project,” said Angie Hicks, co-founder of Angi. “With OpenAI’s Sponsored Agent pilot, homeowners can go directly from discussing a home project in ChatGPT to connecting with a skilled local pro who can help.”

Home services are a high-consideration category, with homeowners often spending significant time researching a project’s scope, urgency and complexity before deciding whether to hire a professional.

The advertising pilot builds on Angi’s existing app in ChatGPT earlier this year, which helps homeowners move from asking a home improvement question to hiring a pro through an AI-guided experience. Unlike the Angi app, which homeowners choose to add in ChatGPT, the Angi-sponsored agent may appear as a clearly labeled sponsored experience within relevant conversations that homeowners can choose to chat with.

KRTL outlines how expanded regulatory leadership expects to support its developing South American API, botanical, controlled substance, and pharmaceutical strategy

Lakewood, CO, Sept. 16, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — KRTL Holding Group Inc. (OTC: KRTL) (“KRTL” or the “Company”) today outlined how KRTL Biotech Inc. intends to apply its expanded regulatory leadership to the Company’s developing South American pharmaceutical API, controlled-substance, botanical-drug, research, and regulatory-services strategy.

Justin Abril, KRTL Biotech’s President-Designate and Strategic Regulatory & API Consultant, https://krtlbiotech.com/team/justin-abril, brings more than a decade of experience in federal controlled-substance compliance, Schedule I manufacturing, DEA regulatory affairs, and pharmaceutical quality systems. His experience is expected to support KRTL’s developing API, controlled-substance, botanical-drug, and regulatory initiatives.

KRTL believes that developing international pharmaceutical supply relationships requires more than identifying compounds, suppliers, laboratories, or manufacturers. Prospective opportunities must be evaluated against regulatory, quality, security, documentation, analytical, manufacturing, import, and downstream-development requirements before they can be considered for a U.S. pharmaceutical pathway.

Developing a South American API Qualification Pathway

KRTL is evaluating and developing prospective South American relationships involving pharmaceutical APIs, botanical-derived materials, laboratories, technical capabilities, and manufacturing partners. These capabilities are not represented as currently qualified, licensed, or commercially API-ready for any U.S. program. KRTL intends to advance selected opportunities through technical, quality, regulatory, contractual, and commercial diligence before they are considered for U.S. pharmaceutical development or importation.

Abril will help KRTL build the regulatory and qualification framework used to evaluate prospective facilities, API manufacturers, laboratories, botanical sources, research organizations, and technical partners.

• API and CMC documentation and development readiness.
• cGMP manufacturing and pharmaceutical quality systems.
• Analytical testing, specifications, and quality controls.
• Supplier, facility, and partner qualification.
• Supply-chain integrity, traceability, and change-control expectations.
• U.S. import eligibility and appropriate importer pathways.
• DEA registration scope, controlled-substance drug codes, quotas, and import/export authority where applicable.
• Controlled-substance security, storage, recordkeeping, and inventory accountability.
• Applicable FDA, state, institutional, and foreign-country requirements.
• Qualified U.S. research, manufacturing, development, and commercialization partners.
“As we develop prospective relationships in South America, our objective is to determine which opportunities can realistically progress into compliant U.S. pharmaceutical programs,” said Cesar Herrera, Chief Executive Officer of KRTL Biotech Inc. “Justin will help us establish the regulatory, quality, and partner-qualification framework needed to evaluate those opportunities systematically.”

Supporting KRTL’s Coca-Derived Pharmaceutical and API Strategy

KRTL has developed two coca-derived extract platforms, Rayel and Periko. Company records include a TTB formula approval record for Rayel Decocainized Natural Coca Extract, providing an existing regulatory foundation for its applicable beverage-facing use. Together, the two extracts provide KRTL with multiple pathways to evaluate across commercial, analytical, formulation, API, and pharmaceutical applications.

Abril’s experience in Schedule I manufacturing, controlled-substance compliance, pharmaceutical quality systems, DEA regulatory affairs, and regulated supply chains is expected to help KRTL advance these existing assets through the appropriate regulatory and development pathways. His role is expected to include supporting qualification, quality and documentation requirements, CMC readiness, import/export planning, and identification of qualified operating and development partners.

Any coca-derived pharmaceutical or API program would remain subject to applicable DEA, FDA, state, foreign-government, customs, quality, security, and institutional requirements.

Broader Controlled-Substance and Psychedelic Research Opportunities

KRTL also intends to evaluate opportunities involving controlled botanical-drug development, pharmaceutical APIs, Schedule I research, psychedelic compounds, formulation development, analytical testing, CMC development, and institutional research collaborations.

Potential collaborators may include appropriately authorized universities, researchers, laboratories, manufacturers, CROs, clinical sites, importers/exporters, and other qualified institutions. Any such work would remain subject to the activity-specific legal and regulatory requirements applicable to the responsible operating entities.

Extending Regulatory Expertise into Third-Party Consulting Services

KRTL also expects the regulatory infrastructure being developed internally, to support the evaluation and qualification of suppliers, manufacturers, laboratories and collaborators, and, where appropriate, to support qualified third parties engaged in similar categories of pharmaceutical and controlled-substance activity that KRTL is developing. The contemplated services may include registration-readiness, facility and security planning, SOP and recordkeeping support, quota and ARCOS compliance support where applicable, import/export pathway planning, inspection readiness, supplier and facility qualification, and related cGMP and quality-system consulting.

This capability is intended to complement KRTL’s internal development programs by applying the same regulatory, quality, security, and compliance disciplines to third-party engagements. KRTL Biotech would provide advisory, readiness, documentation, and strategic support; responsibility for applications, regulated activities, and government authorizations would remain with the applicable applicant or authorized operating entity.

From Opportunity Identification to Regulatory Qualification

KRTL views Abril’s addition as part of a broader effort to strengthen the regulatory, quality, technical, institutional, manufacturing, and advisory framework used to evaluate pharmaceutical programs and support qualified third-party engagements. The Company intends to develop a repeatable diligence and qualification process that can be applied across multiple API, botanical, controlled substance, research, and consulting initiatives.

“The objective is to understand the pathway before significant resources are committed,” Herrera said. “That means identifying the regulatory requirements, qualifying the right partners, understanding the facility and quality gaps, and determining what is needed to move a viable opportunity into a legitimate development program.”

Neither Abril’s appointment nor KRTL’s current development activities should be interpreted as evidence that any South American facility, controlled-substance program, API, pharmaceutical product, DEA registration, quota, import authorization, FDA submission, or research program has received regulatory approval or is commercially operational unless specifically disclosed by the Company.

About KRTL Biotech Inc.

KRTL Biotech Inc. is a wholly owned subsidiary of KRTL Holding Group Inc. focused on pharmaceutical, biotechnology, active pharmaceutical ingredient (API), botanical, regulatory, research, and commercialization opportunities in the United States and international markets. KRTL Biotech maintains federal registrations and entity identifiers with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration and SAM.gov, including SAM.gov UEI ULPJWZWBM9L5 and CAGE Code 109P9. The agreement strengthens India’s pioneering efforts to develop Bio-IBA as a renewable blending solution for decarbonizing one of the world’s largest diesel markets.

ENGLEWOOD, Colo and PUNE, India, Sept. 16, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Praj Industries and Gevo, Inc. (NASDAQ: GEVO) today announced the signing of a Development & Commercialization Agreement for Bio-Isobutanol (Bio-IBA) technology in India, reinforcing their long-standing association to advance sustainable low-carbon fuel solutions.

Under the agreement, Praj will lead the commercialization of Bio-IBA technology in India, with exclusive rights to deploy the technology in the country. The partnership will focus on developing commercial opportunities for Bio-IBA, with a primary emphasis on diesel blending applications that have the potential to reduce the carbon intensity of one of the world’s most widely used transportation and industrial fuels.

The agreement builds upon more than a decade of association between the two companies to adapt, develop and advance Bio-IBA technology for Indian feedstocks and market requirements. Praj’s deep understanding of India’s sugar- and starch-based feedstocks, its expertise in engineering, project execution, scale-up and market development, combined with Gevo’s Bio-IBA technology, will support its scale-up and commercial adoption in India.

In a separate development aligned with the broader objective of advancing Bio-IBA adoption, Praj is currently establishing India’s first commercial Bio-IBA demonstration plant for a leading Oil Marketing Company (OMC). The project is being designed, engineered, supplied and erected by Praj based on Gevo’s licensed Bio-IBA technology. The demonstration plant is expected to play an important role in validating production, supply-chain and market-development pathways for future commercialization opportunities in India.

Bio-IBA presents a promising opportunity for reducing the carbon footprint of diesel across a wide range of applications, including: transportation, agriculture, mining, construction and industrial operations. Given India’s large diesel economy and abundant renewable feedstock resources, Bio-IBA has the potential to become an important component in the country’s transition towards lower-carbon fuels. According to Petroleum Planning & Analysis Cell (PPAC), India consumed approximately 94.7 million tonnes (29.7 billion US gallons) of high-speed diesel in FY2025-26.

Encouragingly, stakeholders across the value chain, including fuel producers, vehicle and equipment manufacturers, research institutions and end users, are actively working towards enabling Bio-IBA-based diesel blending in India. Multiple initiatives aimed at technology validation, application development, regulatory assessment and supply-chain preparedness are progressing in parallel, reflecting growing industry interest in bringing diesel blending solutions to commercial reality.

“This agreement marks an important milestone in our relationship with Praj and in the advancement of Bio-IBA in India,” said Gevo Chief Executive Officer Paul Bloom. “Gevo brings proven renewable isobutanol technology and commercialization experience, while Praj contributes deep expertise in engineering, deployment and market development. Together, we are creating a framework to unlock new opportunities for Bio-IBA, particularly in diesel applications, while supporting broader decarbonization objectives.”

“Our collaboration with Gevo has steadily evolved through technology development, application innovation and market-building efforts over the years,” said Dr. Pramod Chaudhari, Founder Chairman, Praj Industries. “This Development & Commercialization Agreement establishes a strong foundation for bringing Bio-IBA to the Indian market. We believe Bio-IBA has the potential to emerge as an important renewable fuel solution for the diesel economy, complementing India’s broader energy transition and sustainability goals.”

Beyond diesel applications, Bio-IBA also serves as a platform molecule for the production of Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) and other renewable chemicals, further highlighting its versatility and expected long-term strategic importance within the emerging bioeconomy.

Collaboration with leading 22-location interventional pain practice supports Milestone’s longer-term reimbursement strategy

ROSELAND, N.J., Sept. 16, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Milestone Scientific Inc. (NYSE American: MLSS), a leading developer of computerized drug delivery and injection technologies, today announced that Sudhir Rao, M.D., Medical Director of Pain and Spine Specialists, and Pain and Spine Specialists have joined Milestone Scientific as a development partner and member of the Company’s CompuFlo Advisor Program.

Pain and Spine Specialists is a leading multi-state interventional pain management organization with 22 locations across Maryland, Pennsylvania, Virginia and Florida. The organization provides comprehensive pain management services through a team of board-certified and fellowship-trained physicians and healthcare professionals focused on individualized patient care and advanced interventional treatment.

The practice has an extensive presence throughout Maryland and Pennsylvania, as well as locations in Virginia and Florida. This broad clinical footprint provides Milestone with an opportunity to collaborate with physicians and clinical teams across diverse practice environments and patient populations.

Importantly, the practice’s geographic footprint aligns with two strategically important Medicare Administrative Contractor regions for Milestone. Its substantial presence in Maryland and Pennsylvania falls within Medicare Jurisdiction L, administered by Novitas Solutions, while its Florida locations fall within Medicare Jurisdiction N, administered by First Coast Service Options.

The collaboration is designed to provide Milestone Scientific with direct, real-world feedback from physicians and clinical teams actively performing interventional pain procedures. As a development partner and member of the CompuFlo Advisor Program, Dr. Rao and his team will provide insights and recommendations regarding clinical workflows, product functionality, physician and staff experience, training, future applications and ongoing product development.

The relationship is also expected to contribute real-world clinical experience and physician engagement as Milestone continues its longer-term reimbursement strategy, including its journey toward establishing Category I CPT status for objective epidural confirmation.

Dr. Rao commented:

“I’m excited to serve as a development partner and join the CompuFlo Advisor Program. I’ve always believed in staying on the leading edge of technologies that simply make sense—innovations that can improve patient care, enhance physician confidence, and ultimately have the potential to become the standard of care.”
— Sudhir Rao, M.D., Medical Director, Pain and Spine Specialists

Eric Hines, Chief Executive Officer of Milestone Scientific, commented:
“Having customers who are in the trenches every day using our technology and treating patients is invaluable. The best product development doesn’t happen in isolation. It comes from listening to physicians and clinical teams, understanding how technology performs within actual clinical workflows, and incorporating their insights and recommendations into what we develop next. Dr. Rao and the Pain and Spine Specialists team bring exactly that kind of real-world experience to our CompuFlo Advisor Program.”

Hines continued:
“Epidural procedures take place within a critical and highly confined anatomical space. Physician skill, experience and tactile judgment are extremely important, but we believe technology can provide physicians with additional objective information rather than relying on tactile judgment alone. CompuFlo’s ability to provide objective, real-time pressure information to assist in confirming epidural needle placement simply makes sense to us from a patient-care perspective. Our goal is to work alongside leading physicians such as Dr. Rao to continue refining the technology, integrating it efficiently into clinical workflows and building the clinical experience necessary for objective epidural confirmation to ultimately become a standard of care.”

Hines added:
“This collaboration is also an important part of our broader journey toward Category I CPT status. Working with high-volume, multi-location practices such as Pain and Spine Specialists can help us expand real-world clinical utilization, deepen physician engagement and generate valuable insights into how CompuFlo integrates into everyday clinical practice. We believe these relationships can contribute to the clinical experience and supporting evidence needed as we pursue our longer-term reimbursement objectives.”

The CompuFlo Advisor Program establishes structured collaborations between Milestone Scientific and experienced practicing clinicians. Learning Time International Schools agreement builds on Saudi pilots, combining AI‑assisted Chinese learning with individual practice beyond the classroom

RIYADH, Saudi Arabia, Sept. 16, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Ruanyun Edai Technology Inc. (NASDAQ: RYET) (“Ruanyun” or the “Company”) announced that Link Door Smart Company (“Link Door”), its Saudi‑based strategic associate, has signed a procurement and service agreement with Learning Time International Schools for the HanLink Chinese Learning Platform. The agreement adds a paid school contract to HanLink’s development in Saudi Arabia, where the platform combines classroom learning tools with an AI “Han” teacher that supports individual language practice beyond scheduled lessons.

The agreement has a total value of SAR100,000, excluding VAT, and covers a non‑exclusive, non‑transferable platform license for the 2026/2027 academic year. Link Door is responsible for platform deployment and account activation, basic operational training for teachers and administrators, and technical support, maintenance and system updates during the contract term.

From Saudi Pilot to School Contract

HanLink’s Saudi development began with classroom experience. In May 2025, Ruanyun announced the platform’s launch and a four‑week pilot at Education & Skills International School in Riyadh. The pilot introduced HanLink into a school setting, providing an early opportunity to observe how students and teachers used AI‑assisted Chinese language learning tools.

The project then broadened into institutional cooperation. In July 2025, Ruanyun announced a strategic cooperation agreement with the Confucius Institute at Prince Sultan University, with plans encompassing Chinese language instruction, localized learning materials and educator development. That agreement contemplated combining HanLink with teaching resources and institutional support tailored to Saudi learners.

In May 2026, Ruanyun announced Link Door’s procurement and service agreement with Alfyaseh Trading Est., taking a further commercial step through a Saudi customer‑facing partner. The Learning Time International Schools agreement now carries that progression into a contract covering platform access and support for a school academic year.

From Classroom Learning to Individual AI Practice

HanLink’s AI “Han” teacher is designed to provide round‑the‑clock language practice, questions and answers, and learning consultation in Arabic, English and Chinese. Students can continue practising beyond scheduled lessons through pronunciation feedback, Chinese character exercises and conversational activities. The Company believes that access to individual AI interaction can support a more learner‑centred approach, giving students additional opportunities to practise at their own pace.

The Learning Time International Schools agreement combines platform access with account setup, basic training for teachers and administrators, and continuing technical support. It follows HanLink’s earlier Saudi pilot work and local commercialization arrangements, bringing those capabilities into a paid contract for the 2026/2027 academic year. Deployment is contractually due within five business days after Link Door receives the initial payment; the agreement provides for a term of one academic year from official activation.

“Our aim is to make Chinese language practice available whenever a student is ready to learn. A scheduled lesson can introduce a concept, while individual interaction with AI Han gives students opportunities to ask questions, practise pronunciation and revisit material afterwards. We believe this connection between classroom learning and continued individual practice is central to HanLink’s value for schools and learners as we develop its international business.”

Maggie Fu, Chief Executive Officer, Ruanyun Edai Technology Inc.

Related Party Disclosure

Link Door is a separately owned Saudi company. As previously disclosed, Link Door is 75% owned by Maggie Fu, the Company’s Chief Executive Officer, and 25% owned by Cong Zhao, the Company’s Chief Technology Officer. The procurement and service agreement described in this release is between Link Door and Learning Time International Schools; Ruanyun is not a signatory to that agreement. The Company’s previously disclosed HanLink licensing arrangement with Link Door is through Jiangxi Ruanyun Technology Co., Ltd., its consolidated variable interest entity in China.

Link Door’s status as a strategic associate does not, by itself, mean that it is a subsidiary of Ruanyun or consolidated in Ruanyun’s financial statements. The SAR100,000 contract value is not equivalent to Ruanyun revenue, backlog or cash receipts. Any amounts attributable to Ruanyun’s operating entities, and the timing of any revenue recognition, depend on the applicable licensing and service arrangements, performance obligations, collectability and relevant accounting requirements.
