– Recently awarded patents have solidified Allarity’s strategy to leverage DRP to ensure the commercial exclusivity of stenoparib

TARPON SPRINGS, Fla., September 30, 2026 – Allarity Therapeutics, Inc. (“Allarity” or the “Company”) (NASDAQ: ALLR), a Phase 2 clinical-stage pharmaceutical company dedicated to developing stenoparib (2X-121)—a differentiated, dual PARP and WNT pathway inhibitor—
today provided an update on recent advances in its proprietary Drug Response Predictor (DRP®) technology, patent portfolio and in-house laboratory capabilities that strengthen its ability to drive stenoparib’s clinical development while expanding external partnership opportunities.

Allarity Therapeutics was established on its proprietary patient selection technology—the Drug Response Predictor (DRP®). DRP® allows Allarity to assess a patient’s tumor tissue for the gene expression changes that indicate the patient’s tumor is either more or less likely to respond to a given cancer therapy. DRP® tests have been successfully developed for dozens of cancer therapies. Most notably, DRP® has been developed for Allarity’s lead asset, stenoparib, and has been deployed in the clinic to pre-select patients for stenoparib-based therapy.

The stenoparib-DRP® is comprised of a unique 414-gene expression signature, notably including genes associated with WNT pathway activity. At AACR 2026, Allarity presented an exploratory analysis of its prior Phase 2 cohort of patients with advanced ovarian cancer treated with twice-daily stenoparib. Higher pretreatment DRP scores were associated with longer overall survival, supporting the test’s potential to identify patients who may derive the most durable benefit.

Recent patent awards coupled with the CLIA certification of Allarity’s in-house lab allow the company to extend the utility of the test as a companion diagnostic test and to retain sole control of that clinical test. These developments extend the commercial viability of both stenoparib and the stenoparib-DRP test.

Collectively, these advances support Allarity’s ongoing strategy to use DRP to inform patient selection for a pivotal trial, making the technology an integral part of stenoparib’s development toward FDA approval.

“Over the past few months, we have significantly strengthened the clinical foundation for our DRP-guided stenoparib program,” said Thomas Jensen, Chief Executive Officer of Allarity Therapeutics. “For stenoparib, the association between higher DRP scores and longer overall survival helps inform our clinical development strategy as we work toward FDA approval. While stenoparib remains our principal development focus, our extensive experience developing predictors for other drugs also provides a foundation for external partnerships.”

About Allarity Therapeutics

Allarity Therapeutics, Inc. (NASDAQ: ALLR) is a clinical-stage pharmaceutical company focused on developing personalized cancer treatments. The Company is developing stenoparib, a novel PARP/tankyrase inhibitor for patients with advanced ovarian cancer, and is using its proprietary DRP® technology to develop a companion diagnostic designed to identify patients expected to derive the greatest clinical benefit from stenoparib. Allarity’s principal operations are located in Denmark, and its U.S. business address is in Florida. For more information, visit www.allarity.com.

About Stenoparib/2X-121

Stenoparib is an orally available, small-molecule dual-targeted inhibitor of PARP1/2 and tankyrase 1/2. Tankyrases have emerged as potential therapeutic targets in cancer due in part to their role in regulating the WNT signaling pathway. Aberrant WNT/β-catenin signaling has been implicated in the development and progression of numerous cancers, including drug-resistant cancers. Through its inhibition of PARP and the WNT signaling pathway, stenoparib has the potential to provide therapeutic benefit across multiple cancer types, including ovarian cancer, small cell lung cancer and colorectal cancer.

Allarity has secured exclusive global rights to develop and commercialize stenoparib, which was originally developed by Eisai Co., Ltd. and was formerly known as E7449 and 2X-121.

Allarity has completed its first Phase 2 trial evaluating stenoparib in patients with advanced ovarian cancer. The trial demonstrated promising and durable clinical benefit in patients with ovarian cancer who received two or more prior lines of therapy and were treated with stenoparib twice daily. Updated data from the trial were presented at the AACR Special Conference on Advances in Ovarian Cancer in September 2025. These analyses remain subject to change as the study data mature.

Based on the emerging clinical experience with stenoparib, Allarity developed a new protocol focused on patients with platinum-resistant ovarian cancer, which began enrolling patients in the summer of 2025. The amended protocol enrolls only platinum-resistant or platinum-ineligible patients and is designed to advance the clinical development of stenoparib toward potential FDA approval.

In parallel, a separate Phase 2 trial evaluating stenoparib in combination with temozolomide for patients with relapsed small cell lung cancer, or SCLC, began enrolling in early 2026 and is currently enrolling patients at multiple U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs sites.

About the Drug Response Predictor – DRP® Companion Diagnostic

Allarity uses its drug-specific DRP® technology to identify patients who, based on the gene expression signature of their cancer, may be more likely to benefit from a particular drug. By screening patients before treatment, and selecting those with a sufficiently high, drug-specific DRP score, the DRP technology is designed to increase the likelihood of therapeutic benefit.

The DRP methodology is based on the comparisons of sensitive and resistant human cancer cell lines, and incorporates transcriptomic data, clinical tumor biology filters and prior clinical trial outcomes. The DRP uses messenger RNA expression profiles derived from patient biopsies to generate drug-specific predictive scores.

The DRP® platform has demonstrated the ability to provide statistically significant predictions of clinical outcome following drug treatment across dozens of retrospective and prospective clinical studies. The platform is designed for potential application across multiple cancer types, is patented for dozens of anti-cancer drugs and has been extensively described in peer-reviewed scientific literature.

Workhorse-Gateway W56 Electric Step Vans

Gateway builds on its 2026 order of 100 W56s with a 200-vehicle expansion
Gateway builds on its 2026 order of 100 W56s with a 200-vehicle expansion
  • Gateway builds on its 2026 order of 100 W56s, as fleet operator demand grows
  • W56 deployments continue alongside new Gateway site launches, with additional trucks supporting growth into 2027

DETROIT, Sept. 30, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Workhorse Group Inc. (NASDAQ: WKHS) (“Workhorse”), an American Industrial Technology company, and Kingsburg Truck Center (KTC), a leading California truck dealer, today announced that Gateway Fleets has placed a follow-on purchase order for 200 W56 fully-electric step vans. Gateway, a California-based provider of turnkey electric vehicle and charging solutions for commercial delivery operators, is purchasing the vehicles through KTC with the intent to lease them to its customers, who are primarily last-mile independent package delivery providers.

Gateway’s business model bundles purpose-built electric trucks with charging infrastructure, fleet support, and depot access through flexible financing arrangements designed to simplify electric fleet operations. For Gateway, scale follows operator confidence. To build that confidence, Gateway is investing in the vehicles, infrastructure, and support required to keep operators moving every day.

Through Gateway’s lease structure, operators will gain the fuel and maintenance savings of electric vehicles while managing cash flow and avoiding large upfront capital expenditures. Gateway currently operates depots in Southern California and is scaling its network to meet growing operator demand across the region and beyond. For Workhorse, this purchase order expands a channel to delivery operators seeking a more accessible path to fleet electrification.

“In today’s era of high and volatile fuel prices, customers are seeking the stability and lower operating costs associated with electric trucks, without sacrificing safety or performance,” said Scott Griffith, Chief Executive Officer at Workhorse. “We believe Gateway’s innovative model will help unlock wider adoption of electric trucks through its bundled pricing that eliminates the two biggest barriers to widespread adoption: the higher upfront cost of the vehicle and the added investment capital required to build out the charging infrastructure.”

The W56 step vans available through Gateway are Standard Wheelbase (178″) configurations with a 210 kWh battery, offering 1,000 cubic feet of cargo space, a payload of 10,000 lbs. and a nominal range of 150 miles per charge. Every van features a fully-integrated, purpose-built composite body, an ergonomic driver environment, and a platform engineered for the demands of high-cycle last-mile delivery. Vehicles contracted in this new order are expected to begin deploying to customers in the second half of 2027, with deployments continuing through 2028.

“Getting the truck on the road is only the beginning. Keeping operators moving takes the right combination of infrastructure, service, and support,” said Jamie Miller, Chief Revenue Officer of Gateway Fleets. “Workhorse has brought us an innovative vehicle and a team committed to standing behind it, while Kingsburg provides the service expertise and support our customers need in the field. Gateway brings those pieces together with the charging infrastructure and capital to make electrification work for operators. As we open new locations, we’re continuing to expand W56 deployments alongside our network, with more sites and trucks coming online through ‘peak’ and into 2027. We’re excited to keep building on what’s working together.”

All W56 models are produced at Workhorse’s commercial-scale manufacturing facility in Union City, Indiana, which is capable of producing up to 5,000+ vehicles per year on a standard operating shift. To date, Workhorse has delivered more than 1,100 vehicles that have collectively accumulated more than 21 million real-world miles across customer fleets.

Vehicles contracted in this new order are expected to begin deploying in the second half of 2027 so that customers can deploy them fleetwide in advance of “peak” holiday season, when package delivery volumes spike.

“This partnership brings together three critical components of fleet electrification: a high quality, proven Workhorse truck; a deployment and service partner, Gateway; and our team at Kingsburg, providing full-circle consultative sales, incentive processing and service support,” said Jerry Smith, Owner at Kingsburg Truck Center. “We’ve had nothing but positive feedback on the performance of the W56 this year, and we’re looking forward to an even better 2027.”

Fleets interested in leasing a Workhorse W56 should contact Gateway Fleets directly or visit www.gatewayfleets.com.

Institutional Credit Layer on HyperEVM Secured by Collateral in Qualified Custody at a Federally Chartered Bank

DALLAS, Sept. 30, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Hyperion DeFi, Inc. (NASDAQ: HYPD) (“Hyperion DeFi” or the “Company”), today announced the launch of the first institutional credit facility on HyperLend’s Aviya Finance platform, utilizing Anchorage Digital’s regulated settlement infrastructure.

In an industry first, the borrower’s obligations are secured by natively-staked HYPE tokens held in qualified custody at Anchorage Digital Bank, N.A., the first federally chartered digital asset bank. The announcement coincides with the launch of Aviya Finance, the permissioned institutional credit venue powered by HyperLend’s proven onchain lending infrastructure, and its integration with Anchorage Digital’s regulated settlement and collateral network, Atlas.

“Today marks a key step towards expanding access to onchain liquidity for real-world assets on Hyperliquid,” said Hyunsu Jung, Chief Executive Officer of Hyperion DeFi. “It starts with creating this secured, white-listed credit facility backed by natively staked HYPE tokens held in qualified custody. From this foundation, the roadmap is to scale as assets continue to move onchain, supporting users with enterprise-grade infrastructure built alongside our partners.”

“Institutions have wanted access to onchain credit, but not at the expense of the safeguards they rely on. This facility shows those two things don’t have to be traded off. Collateral stays natively staked in qualified custody, and through Atlas it can be pledged, released, and monitored around the clock,” said Nathan McCauley, CEO and Co-Founder at Anchorage Digital. “That is the kind of infrastructure that lets institutional capital participate in the Hyperliquid ecosystem with confidence.”

“150 million HYPE is staked with validators outside of Hyperliquid Labs and the Foundation, representing over $10 billion in assets earning staking yield, but unable to work simultaneously as collateral,” said Benjamin Sever, CEO and Co-Founder at HyperLend. “Today, Aviya unlocks this capital, providing institutions that require qualified custody of their assets to access credit onchain without leaving custody. Starting with HYPE and its staked derivatives, Aviya will continue to add more collateral types as demand grows. The magnitude and velocity of capital on Hyperliquid is accelerating, and Aviya is positioned to lead institutional fixed-rate borrowing and lending of digital and real-world assets on Hyperliquid.”

The facility is protected by customary off-chain legal agreements, margin maintenance, liquidation, and collateral monitoring provisions, including specified loan-to-value thresholds and liquidation triggers. The infrastructure is designed with the goal of institutional scalability.

This collaboration supports Hyperion DeFi’s diversified products suite servicing institutional clients, including the Company’s validator operations, its yield vault infrastructure, the HYPE Asset Use Service (HAUS), supporting permissionless Hyperliquid markets including EntropyIO (HIP-3) and Skew (HIP-4), and the credit layer built on Aviya Finance. Hyperion DeFi plans to continue generating value from strategic participation in network growth initiatives available exclusively on Hyperliquid.

About the Hyperliquid Platform and the HYPE Token

Hyperliquid is a next-generation layer one blockchain optimized for high frequency, transparent trading. The blockchain includes fully on-chain perpetual futures and spot order books, with every order, cancel, trade, and liquidation occurring within 70 millisecond block times. It also hosts the HyperEVM, a general-purpose smart contract platform that supports permissionless decentralized financial applications akin to Ethereum.

HYPE is the native token of Hyperliquid. Staked HYPE provides utility for users via reduced trading fees and increased referral bonuses. As of September 2026, more than 47 million HYPE have been autonomously purchased and sequestered by the blockchain with the trading fees generated on the network’s central limit order books.
