When cases of canine parvovirus began rising, Arizona Humane Society and Elanco jumped into action.
Through collaboration with Elanco, the shelter’s veterinary team was able to use Trutect™, the first and only monoclonal antibody treatment designed to neutralize the parvo virus, contributing to less hospital time1. In December, 11 puppies were saved thanks to this collaboration and the dedicated veterinary teams caring for them.
“I have been working with AZ Humane Society for a while now and have seen how much they care about the pets and animals they see during the day. Some animals end up very sick and need much more help than can be offered. Canine Parvovirus Monoclonal Antibody offers dogs sick with parvo to have a fighting chance at survival. We at Elanco offered AZ Humane Society the opportunity to use CPMA and it has been amazing to see such good results. Now more dogs can live a happy life and find a happy home!”

“Thanks to Elanco’s donation of CPMA, our veterinary team can treat pets quickly and more effectively, making a real difference for the pets and families we serve.”
