DEME has signed a sizable contract for the transportation and installation of 69 wind turbines at the Zeevonk offshore wind farm in the Netherlands. The wind turbines for phase 1 of the wind farm will be installed by DEME’s next-generation jack-up offshore transport and installation vessel, Norse Energi. This latest award follows the substantial foundation installation contract secured by DEME for Zeevonk in July 2026, giving the company a key role in this offshore wind project. The Zeevonk offshore wind farm project, jointly owned by Vattenfall and Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (CIP) through its Energy Investment Fund I, will have a total installed capacity of approximately 1 GW.
