BTS Acquires Edward Lynx, strengthening its position in the Nordics and in Europe

STOCKHOLM, SWEDEN – BTS Sverige AB, part of BTS Group AB (publ), a leading global consultancy specializing in strategy execution, change, and people development, has agreed to acquire 100 percent of Edward Lynx AB, a Stockholm-based firm specialising in executive and senior leadership assessment and leadership development. This acquisition will strengthen BTS offering in Talent Insight and Assessment and will be earnings accretive.

Founded in 1996 and headquartered in Stockholm, Edward Lynx works in executive and senior assessment and in leadership development, with a team that includes 14 consultants.

Edward Lynx works with large and mid-sized Nordic companies, primarily in industrial sectors, with an approach built on licensed psychologists, custom business cases and simulation-based methodology. Client overlap with BTS is limited, which creates room for both firms to broaden their scope with existing clients. The team will become part of BTS Nordics, and will also support BTS’s Talent Insight and Assessment center of expertise across Europe.

“Assessment and selection is an attractive market where BTS has a compelling offer. Edward Lynx adds senior expertise and complementary client relationships, accelerating our ability to scale this offering across Europe, putting us ahead of where organic growth alone could have taken us.” says Joel Sigrist, Head of BTS Europe.”

“Our Nordic clients increasingly want leadership assessment and development to be brought together in one integrated offering. Edward Lynx brings an experienced senior team and a practical, business-focused approach. Just as importantly, there is a strong cultural fit, giving us an excellent foundation to create even greater value for our clients together,” says Emelie Lindén, Head of BTS Nordics.

“BTS is the right home for what we have built. Our clients will gain access to a much broader range of services and greater delivery capacity, while our people will benefit from new development opportunities and career paths that we could not offer on our own” says Anna Edward, founder of Edward Lynx.

Anna Edward will remain with the business in a transition role. Emilia Bustos, currently CEO of Edward Lynx, will become Head of Talent Insight and Assessment, Nordics. In this role, she will support the continued development of BTS’s assessment offering across the Nordics and Europe.

Over the past three years, average revenues have been 37 MSEK and average adjusted EBITDA margin approximately 21% percent. The company has been consistently profitable. The acquisition includes an initial cash consideration as well as additional cash payment due in 2028, provided the acquired business meets specific outcomes during that period. The transaction is expected to close as soon as the completion procedures have been finalised, which is set to 30th of October 2026.

Given the size of Edward Lynx relative to the BTS Group, the acquisition is not expected to have any material impact on BTS’s EBITA in 2026 or on earnings in 2027.

BTS’s strategy for acquisitions aims to create a broader base for future organic growth while actively consolidating in a highly fragmented market. Through its acquisitions, BTS seeks to serve new and existing customers with innovative services.
